Not really sure where to even start. Radiant is the first credit union that we’ve banked with that truly values their customers. They go the extra mile with you to make sure you have everything you need and you understand all the products, benefits that’s available to you. Customer service is first class! I’d recommend starting your child/children’s bank account/s with Radiant. They offer excellent rates!
They are Always Pleasant, Always Courteous and Always Helpful. They make banking easy. Every time I think I have a less than enjoyable trip to the bank coming, they make it as painless as possible. I was at another institution for many years. Radiant has earned my business through great customer service and support. They are now my primary financial institution.
We have been pleased with Radiant since I think ‘97 and we’ve never thought about going anywhere else. Bill pay used to be an option on the main screen. Now to get to the Bill Pay dashboard you have to click two other screens, select the option off a menu. While on the main screen they have marketing information instead and more than ample room for a Bill Pay Button. Their Management team is clearly out of touch with how their app is utilized by their clients. Typical of modern management to be tone deaf.
I have always been treated respectfully and have enjoyed a wonderful experience banking with Radiant credit union. I have never felt more secure with my money.
In a world where companies are becoming hyper-corporatized, Radiant (formerly Sunstate) has continued to keep the mom-and-pop vibe. I can count on them, which means I can also count on the customers as a whole. Regardless of where I end up after grad school, this company will stick with me for it has blessed part of my life through it’s continued and consistent positive customer service. This is the third month in a row I have tried to use BillPay to pay my bills and can't. Multi Pay doesn't work. Scheduled payments do but that's pretty limited. After calling every month to get help I want to say to the developers, Fix This Thing!
Can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to the atm and it’s down. And a big line at the drive through because of it. Hate to complain, but sometimes it’s really inconvenient. Thanks for addressing this.😊

App seems to work pretty well and is stable. However, a suggestion would be, multiple account usage. It would be great if I could view my personal account and my business account without having to sign in and out.
The app will log you out suddenly as you’re scrolling. It will also cancel your transfer every time you use the space bar in the notes of a transfer. Pretty typical of SunState’s declining customer service.
Constantly hold deposits. Even ones from my husband’s work. Always suspending debit card any time you go out of town. Ach deposits not credited right away. Worst CU ever.
When I was told they were changing names from Sunstate to radiant I was told nothing was changing except the name however the app has completely Changed is very laggy and doesn’t provide information like the Sunstate app would such as if I were to transfer money from one account to another it would automatically show up in which ever account I was transferring from and show pending. Now it doesn’t say anything and if you click on the schedule transfers it only gives the date it was made not the actual date it is to be deposited so you have to click on it and resubmit it every time to make sure you selected the correct date but if it’s after 3 you have to select a different date pushing back the transfer again because it doesn’t show up in the account you draw from like it did before the change.
I would have gladly given this app a 5 star if it didn’t have a delay when moving from selection to selection on the bottom row (accounts, transfers, deposits, & profile options). It seems to be the only quirk. There is a 2-5 second delay when you choose an option which made me try to push the button several times to get it to work before I realized it was only delayed... every time. Otherwise this app is visually appealing and it’s maneuverability to the areas that I want to go is a breeze! Please see if you can update and fix that delay. I’m seriously impressed with the app however. It’s great! Also, if the developer is reading this, is it possible to bring back the different colors in the shares differentiating the debits from the credits? It makes it harder to read when they are both the same color. I saw another recent review mentioning that and I completely agree I’d like to have that feature back.
I love that there’s an app so I can pay on my accounts, the only thing is, is that it’s kind of annoying that it doesn’t simply have a “Payment” option. It is difficult when it’s new to you and you have to search to find where you have to go to make a payment. You have to go to transfers, which isn’t difficult, it’s just that in all my other apps where I go to make a payment there’s a place in the scroll down that actually says “payment “. Other than that it’s awesome to have the app so I don’t have to drive 25 miles to make a payment. I don’t like to mail it cause you never know these days if it will make it on time😁
I do not like giving a negative rating, but it is what it is I guess when you can’t get your bills paid. No matter what I’ve done it will not open the Bill Pay portion of this app. I’ve updated phone, updated app, deleted from phone and re downloaded it. Still nothing!!! It’s just the worst app I’ve ever used for banking, as paying bills with a bad app just makes it pure H***. We have 4 Credit Union Accts in 3 different states and 1 Bank, and out of all of them Radiant is the only one that has given me so much trouble. Then on top of all that, it takes forever to get from one area to another on this app. There is a very long pause or it will just get stuck on a gray screen with and without the circle showing that it’s trying to get there. I’ve had to resign in so many times to use it for one simple thing. Horrible app and it’s been going on like this for a long time, so we have no choice…we are looking into taking this direct deposit elsewhere.
This app is awful and recently it takes almost 5 mins to load anything (I’ve tried on multiple reliable networks where ANY other app works!) and it won’t let me see my info! Also I don’t get the security picture thing because the picture or security caption NEVER changes or does anything to actually help verify your identity. It’s just garbage now.
The app is a little sluggish, but I can live with that. My complaint is that I can rarely open bill pay on my phone. It usually goes to a gray screen (sometimes with a spinning blue circle of death and sometimes without) and then does nothing, no matter how long I wait. It’s really frustrating because I like to pay my bills as soon as I get them, and this app rarely works for that. I’ve struggled with it since getting the app, but it seems to be getting worse. I used to be able to close the app down, go immediately back in, and then bill pay would open. That doesn’t even work anymore. Perhaps an update is warranted to fix this issue. Please and thank you.
Two features have been dropped that I took for granted until now. 1. A running balance after every transaction. 2. I could only see images for mobile deposits made this month. 3. Could only see current month’s deposit images on app 4. Cannot see images of mobile deposits or any deposits, for that matter, on the website at all, even though it instructs you to click on a non-existent link 3. There is no reference other than date and amount of deposits made on paper statements either. 😳 4. One can only download image or take screenshot without any blocking of sensitive info. 5. If one has destroyed the checks as instructed by Radian after deposit clears, there’s no way of knowing where deposits came from. 4. Even if one still has the checks, it is time consuming and silly having to do this at all. 5. Paper statements show NO information on Mobile Deposits other than date and amount. 😳 Please fix app, website, and paper statements as far as deposits go. 🙏 Thank you.
This new update is horrible and not user friendly. Have to scroll up and down just see the entire page of the app because of the font being way too large. Features seem to be the same but the new look makes me not want to use the mobile app at all. It was all so simple before 😭
Even though the app is better in Wi-Fi, the continuing improvements make it great to use out of town where I am in Seattle and just got access to transfer to external accounts-to an online bank I use for traveling. Thanks Colby and Radiant! Cheers, Rob Alberts
Not a fan yet update not user friendly missing the color for deposits separate of debits
The sign in has too many subtitles and takes longer, the simi for transactions is too precise making it harder to find missing transactions and he font is all the sam color not allowing me to separate my 4 different accounts. The old app showed me loan payment date opening page now you have to subtitle everything. I'd rather the old app
This app is the worse app I have ever used. It goes extremely slow and the “quick login” into my other joint accounts no longer is “quick” because that doesn’t work AT ALL! I have to log out of my account and type in my other account log in information in order to access it. I have it a few months but now I believe I’ll be taking my banking to One Finance. I’ve been with Radiant since 2011 but this is the final straw. I want to be able to navigate my app without it taking 10 minutes! Bring back SunState!
The format is much better than before. And I’m so glad they are offering biometric sign in options now. Yet the app is super slow.. it could be that everyone is getting enrolled and checking for their stimulus. Other than that.. cool app
Radiant made purchasing my truck as easy as could be extremely easy. Some of the most convenient online banking I have ever experienced. I would highly recommend doing business with Radiant.
You have become the worst credit you l know. Your not customer friendly anymore. Use to call in and be routed to where you needed now it take twenty different routes, to you get to a customer helper. I’ve been a member since 1988.
Not happy with this new version of sunstate. Not user friendly whatsoever. Prefer The previous one. I would have rated this app with a zero but that option was not available. Why fix something that was not broken????
I don't normally review apps but when one is this horrible I am forced to leave a review. I loathe this app. It's not easy to view and understand like the old one. I loved the old one there was nothing wrong with it!!! Now we have this garbage!! I want my old app back!! This needs to be fixed ASAP!!!! The only reason I left one star is because zero stars was not an option!!!!! Such a disappointment with the quality of this app!!!!
Radiant app needs to be updated.. very slow run time on app. App freezes every time I try to transfer money and I have to end up closing about and restarting it. Does it on both mine and my fiancé’s phone.
This ap is self explanatory and easy to use. The member technical support is fantastic as well, they are always friendly and are helpful with any issue you may have.
... it doesn’t work and hasn’t for ages. I think it stopped working when they “upgraded” their app to allow loan applications online. Several weeks ago they told me they were having trouble with the app on iPhones and suggested I install a different browser in my phone. Why should I? It worked before. Maybe the credit union should stop spending so much money on advertising and hire some decent IT people instead?
