want to see a lot more, and need a little more access. being in app development, one thing that would help me as a consumer would be to select multiple filters so I can refine my search.
Highly disappointed; chat feature is a misleading joke
1) The customer service chat feature in the app is a joke. You enter your message and *every* day it tells you they’ll be back online “tomorrow”. My message remained unread for 4 days, essentially letting the clock run out from the 7 day window we have to return an item. My case was unique and I needed to talk to a human. No luck. Couldn’t get a person via phone, via chat and couldn’t even get the courtesy of an email reply either. Insanely unprofessional. Never shopping with Rebag ever again. 2) Once you buy an item, all the photos are then blurred out, which is frustrating if you need to then relist the item (be it there or elsewhere). Other sites retain access to the images. It’s an annoying aspect of the user experience that further demonstrates lack of thoughtfulness towards customers.
I have done business with Rebag for years. The first issue I have with them and have to use Customer Service the experience is AWFUL!! I purchased a Burberry Bucket Hat from Rebag. The listing details and measurements said Large but the photo was a Medium. I chatted with Customer Service - Lisa via messenger to confirm what size the item was before purchasing and the rep Lisa told me the measurements were correct and the hat was a Medium, so I ordered. I get the hat and the measurements are NOT correct because those measurements were for a Large, not the Medium. I returned the item. HOWEVER, they ONLY refunded my money of the item. They DID NOT refund the $20 Shipping Fee each way, totaling $40! Why should I have to pay shipping for their mistake??? I have been trying to get my $40 refunded for weeks and keep getting the runaround! It’s UNFAIR and I will NO LONGER do business with Rebag!
The app is fine enough. The actual business is a total mess. I’m still waiting for my payment almost a week since I got an email from them saying that they will pay for the bags I sold. Customer service is completely useless and unhelpful. Buying isn’t that much better either. When I asked about the product and its authenticity, all the agent could say was that their “experts” vet their products. They could not answer what the number on the tag means. I feel like that’s a pretty basic info that people in the business of selling bags should be able to answer easily. Made me question their entire authentication process. Sure they might actually be authentic but they are not very good at giving their customers the confidence and trust they need when purchasing luxury items.
I had a limited edition cherry Louis Vuitton tote that I’d purchased over 10 years ago that I’d never used. I was trying to sell on marketplace and asking $500 for it but no one seemed to be interested in purchasing the bag. I then came to rebagg and within 7-8 days had the bag priced, had an offer and a check in the amount of $600 on the way to me. I gladly took it. I’m just now revisiting the site as I see they have introduced Clair-making it even easier to sell my authentic items. I will be clearing out my closet soon and getting ready to stack some extra cash in the place of the items I no longer want or use.
I read the reviews and thought this might be too good to be true... I was right. I did a submission on a handbag that was purchased at Neiman Marcus and retailed for $3,400. The bag has never been used...it is in perfect condition and has just been sitting in its dust bag in the closet. I was offered pennies on the dollar for it by Rebag. Quite disappointing being that they are selling USED bags from the same designer (with wear and tear) on their site for over $1000. I would be practically giving the bag away to Rebag for them to turn around and price it for more than quadruple what they offered me. Maybe people have better luck bringing in their bags to the store than submitting on the app? Not sure, but I'll just sell the bag myself on one of the MANY other luxury consignment sites, and get a much better price.
Just like a lot of the people reading this I was very skeptical about this app, I did research and stalked the bag I had wanted for weeks until I finally made the decision to take nearly 1,500 out of my account and buy.. my bag came literally 2 days after I placed my order and I was shocked, the bag arrived in beautiful condition, wrapped up very carefully and even included a card that guaranteed authenticity. I am beyond the star struck and plan on making dozens of more purchases. Thank you so much!
This app is fraudulent! Made a purchase over 4K, no response after over a week. I messaged them and was told I need to send pics of my card and ID. I knew something wasn’t right and should’ve listened to my first mind. Sent the info they asked for and still no response. Went to log into my account and it was deleted along with all the messages and my order information. This app is a total fraud! Reported them to my credit card company and had them send me a new card. Stay away from this app & so called company! It’s a shame with everything going on these days you guys are scamming people out of their hard earned money! Absolutely disgusting!!!!!
I’ve purchased a few items from REBAG in excellent condition. Most times the items were better than what they were listed. This will be my first time selling some things so hopefully it’ll be a best experience. I know purchasing is a wonderful experience with this company and I trust them not only do they give you authenticity cards they also authenticate and give you one of their cards as well!
I had a Hermes just sitting in my closet. I wanted to sell it for some time, but every other way was to complicated. Then I heard about this company. I thought to myself it sounds to good to be true. I was amazed at how easy and quick the process was. I got more money than I was originally offered from the pictures once they received it in hand. Wow, It's the only way to sell your bags. Love this place. I will only ever use them.
It’s so convenient for me to use because I always take pictures with my phone. And whenever I want to sell a bag, I can just get it done with the app by quick clicks and get it done within 5 minutes. But I do want to report a bug: when I upgrade the app from your old “Rebagg” version, it crashes every time I open it. I had to delete and re-download it to solve the problem.
It took me over an hour just to get my purchase to go through due to both their app and website crashing and their contact us chat not working. Then once I was finally able to make my purchase I get an email 3 days later saying my item can’t ship unless I send them a photo of both my card used for the purchase and a id that matches the billing address. I’ve purchased off of plenty of resale applications and websites before and never have I ran into this much trouble. Save your time and frustration shop with another company.
I purchased a $300 handbag in May, which was lost in transit by UPS. Rebag customer service has been a nightmare since, still hasn’t issued me a refund or store credit, and can’t provide me with a solution, even though UPS closed their investigation on the package in mid June and prompted Rebag to claim their refund. UPS says they can only grant a refund directly to the sender, and Rebag has wrapped all five conversations with me saying they will send me an update within 24 hours… only to go dark and not write back. Terrible experience.
As I was getting familiar with this site and realized that they literally are crooks. According to reviews, they lowball people but their bags and then turn around and sell many of their products for retail. Some of these bags come with a pouchett at the original store but here, they sell nearly at retail without the added pouchette. One thing that really bothers me is people/companies that take advantage of the very people who are their customers. Or really any company that takes advantage. They use the same excuse often, “depends on supply and demand”. No thank you, I’ll spend my money somewhere else.
I bought a bag that cost me $3000 and my card was charged, but five days later I saw an email from Rebag that I have to send them my ID and a picture of my credit card or my order will be canceled. I did send them my info, but didn’t get any feedback. So I called customer service and asked them what it’s going on with my order and were it says on the website that I have to provide them this information after my purchase? So the person on the phone said that it’s not on the website and offered me to cancel my order instead!
Rebag is my new jam. I have made several purchases over the last couple of months, as well as returns. The returns were not their faults by the way. Each purchase and return was painless and prompt. They have become my go-to place to stalk (and buy) handbags. Everyone is nice and professional and their bags are authentic. Download the app and buy something :)
Such a bad customer service, selling broken items and no one will return your call. Made purchase and they lost my item, I called them at least 40 times but no one pick up phone. Finally after writing many emails I was able to hold of some one but no resolution is provided. Please check BBB report and complaints as they are not even accredited business, before you make any purchase with them to make an informed decision, there are 100s of same complaints against this company.
I had wanted a Louis Vuitton Papillon NM bag, and was saddened when it was discontinued, but I was able to find one in nearly new condition on ReBag at a great price. I also like Rebag’s trade program. My experience has been that ReBag offers more for trade items than the other large resale stores.
A very content seller. Rebag is an excellent resource for selling some of my loved, but little used, handbags. Appreciate that the initial offer might be adjusted (up in one case) after the bag was in their hands. A delightful surprise and gave me confidence Rebag is keenly selective about their inventory. Will soon be a buyer.
I’ve always wanted a designer purse, but couldn’t prioritize it financially. Rebag offered a pre owner purse writhing my price range and the payment plan made it easy for me. I love my purse and use it almost daily. It was worth the purchase without breaking my budget
I have just started with this app. I was introduced by my hair colorist. She had sold through the site several times, and highly recommends it. It has been extremely an easy app to work with. I can’t wait to use it to sell a handbag!
Love this app and service! I am finally getting around to downsizing my handbag collection. I have way too many that I don’t use. I have been having fun using this app. Both the quotes and payments come fast. Highly recommend!!
This is my first time writing a app review. I recently sold more than fifteen items and this is the only place I have the worst experience. They will turn down or regret their offer after you sent the items to them, even you already submitted with pictures and comments. The worst place to sell your luxury products. Don’t waste your time!!!
Very user friendly app and fun/easy to navigate. Love searching for the newest bags to come in. I’ve shopped a few bags from them and have received like new bags for ones marked prestine/excellent condition. One Chanel I bought still had the plastic on the hardware.
They con people in to doing fake reviews of their products every day. This company is a SCAM. Do you research online and see all of the complaints. Trust me, I wouldn’t even keep the app on your device as it probably has scamware in it. And definitely don’t buy anything from them or send them even $1. I have the receipts showing how they fake their reviews.
Best site for selling luxury handbags...wasn’t thrilled at first with the offer BUT noticed handbags lose value quickly, like vehicles. Rebag offers competitive prices & the process is SO easy.
Not a user friendly app and more than a few unsightly damaged bags
App drove me crazy. Read an article, thought I'd check out the store via app. Was impressed by the vetting process description but looked closely at some bags for sale and more than a few with stains and damage, to the extent not desirable to purchase. App filter issues amongst other things not user friendly. Uninstalling...
If I could give 0 stars I would. This company wants to give you extremely low buy outs and expect your bags in mint condition. DONT BOTHER CALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Customer service is only for booking appointments. They can’t give you any answers to any question you have, they clearly only have rehearsed responses. I 100% do not recommend doing business with this company.
Rebag is a big scam now. You give us offers and change is substantially after you receive the bags. It’s been happening throughout and it’s on social media. It’s frustrating and not right to lure people to send offers and trick people and change it after receiving it. It’s bad! I’m no longer going to trust rebag.
This is the type of company that will draw you in with a ‘deal’ and lay the fine print on you after. Don’t waste your time and shop The Real Real instead. The Real Real is transparent and gives much better deals than Rebag. Don’t play me and my time Rebag, it’s worth more than your ‘said deal’.
Traded in an old givenchy and telfar for a gorgeous balenciaga. Super happy drop off was easy at the WTC location too. App easily found the telfar to sell!
I have a Louis Vuitton slingbag I bought at the store for $1550 (it sells for that on LV website as well)... Rebag offered me $740 for it and it is in brand new condition. I saw one they are selling for 1640.. which is more than a brand new bag at the actual store! You can literally just buy the bag from an actual Louis Vuitton store and pay less and it be brand new! This is a sham. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE PURCHASING FROM THEM!!
They talk down to you as if they are better than you. Their site shows examples of brands and how much they will pay for the bag, and when you give them one of those they come back WAYYY lower on the quote.. it’s insulting.. don’t bother! Sell it on your own
This reselling platform is total garbage. They gave me quotes , I’ve sent to Rebag brand new items as promised , they refused all of them with no reason!! Completely waste of time ! I absolutely don’t recommend to sell here.
Rebag is operating under the assumption that their customers are stupid. I have been unable to reach anyone with full resolve regarding a customer service issue and when I have, they blame me for the issue on their end.
I’ve been selling my designer bags and watches through other platforms, and decided to give REBAG a try. What a waste of time. They totally lowball you. Better off selling the items yourself or selling them to Fashionphile. Their offers are much higher than REBAG. Definitely deleting this app.
