Support cannot help me with password issues!
This is a very bad experience with me calling support. I’d called them on Sunday to let them know that I’ve try so many times to reset my password. I’ve kept getting the message..we have emailed you the link to reset your password. I’ve kept check my email but I didn’t received anything from them. So they unlocked my account then transfer me over to another department to update my email. They told me …it won’t be updated until 72 hours later. So I’d called back on Wednesday which is 72 hours…the customer representative told me that I will receive an email to change my password. She said later tonight…I should receive something. So I’d called back Thursday..I’d still couldn’t get in..I’d still didn’t receive my link to reset my password. They’re telling me another 48 hours. So I ..I told her to just close my account since they can’t help. I asked to transfer me to a manager and she hung up on me. My suggestion for this card..they’re going to keep extending their time to update the email address. You still can’t get access to your online account. For any reasons why your email account isn’t receiving emails…it’s going to take quite some for them to help because they don’t know exactly when it will work. I’m done using this card because they cannot help me to receive the link to reset my password.

Pain to Load/reload
I got this card because I thought I’d be able to easily add money from my checking account to it. That could not be further from the truth, despite the fact it says you can. I live an hour and a half away from the nearest target. I got my card and went to add money to it. I found out you can’t add it through your debit card or credit card. You have to initialize it from your bank, which I am actually unable to do unless it’s 10 days in advance. You can only sign up for direct deposits, which I am not doing. You can add money when you’re in target which is super inconvenient living an hour and a half away. You can take a picture of a check but it will take 10 days to deposit unless you want them to take 1/3 of the money, despite saying it will be 5% (tried to add $15 and they were going to take $5 to make it available). I just feel like I was misled. Make it easier to load money. The ways available are inconvenient and the fine print is misleading. Would not recommend.

Archaic, impossible, garbage support
UPDATE: Offers to help troubleshoot further are hollow. I already spent 45 minutes trying to “troubleshoot” only to be told that it’s not their problem. I will NOT be calling. The fact that the “bank” backing them is not recognized by ADP or another established bank speaks volumes. This is 100% not trustworthy. I was having trouble getting the Target Reloadable “bank” information to take with my bank so I could transfer money. My external bank said the routing number isn’t valid and they don’t recognize the “bank” name associated with the card - RED FLAG!!! After 45 minutes support said my only option was to mobile deposit a check or to go to a store and load cash. I no longer have checks because no one takes them. The whole point was for me to use this ONLINE so now the point is completely moot. A 5% discount to go to the trouble of going to a store, withdrawing cash from the ATM and then loading cash to the card is not worth it. I’m basically out of luck and will be closing my account.

Do Better Don’t Get This Card Run!
I was not approved for the card. I was asked to try again with the right information but you can’t use the same information to sign up . It’s frustrating that the customer service reps are not able to help if you don’t have a card. Please don’t tell me to contact customer service. I know the number and it’s a waste of time to hear the same thing over and over again because the reps don’t have an clear answer on how to help. How can a computer tell me I put the wrong information about my own self??? Developers y’all need to RECTIFY this problem. There is no technical support for the website. I don’t want to hear that a company have to verify information and if they can’t blah blah blah!! It shouldn’t be that hard for a card that an individual is providing their own money to a card. You would think that a company would want a person to be able to spend their money with the company.

Customer service bad
The customer service is not good target Reloadable credit card on the phone. They are rude do not have Spanish staff on side full time. They have interpreted speak with you and you need to wait for them translation back forward taking phone with two people same time. The supervisor was mega rude. To be honest do not wear target have this customer service center contract with? I think this customer service office is overseen in other parts of countries. The need to get better or hired people who are customer service representative. This not fair some many people looking for job opportunities. This company hiring people do not speak fluently English to be honest spoke with 3 different people on phone did not understand them. Right now we have two major customer in world wide Spanish and English fluent speakers people. Target need to be sure hired both type of people to do better job. I hope you guys can fix this asap! I don’t normally write reviews for this stuff, but this is something that has to be said & changed. They closed my debit card since I had insufficient funds even though I explained why, & that there’s many people with thousands of $ in target credit card debt but their account isn’t closed. But god forbid when I had a reason to explain for my debit card there’s no exceptions. + it takes business days for a charge to be taken out your debit card bank account. So the lady recommended a reloaded card since mine was closed. It’s way too much work for the transfers to your reloadable card. There has to be a better way. Aside from that, you guys charged a coworker of mine & my boyfriend double the charge & when they both tried to get their charges back you guys refused. I feel like there’s no winning with you guys. Fix 1 issue before you start with a new thing

Log In Issues
I admit; I do have a Target credit card and am able to log into my account via the website on my iPad. However the password I have is not compatible with the app. I can log into it just fine on the website via iPad, but the app says the password is not valid. I would be willing to change my password, but I’d have no idea if it’ll be valid enough for the app. The strange thing about the app is that there is no customer service access to complain about this. The only options I have are create a new account or reset the password. Let me guess; there is if you log in? 🤦‍♀️ Ugh! I already have trouble coming up with unique passwords. Impasse. Somebody better fix this, cause I ain’t taking responsible for an app that won’t accept a password that works fine via website.

Bank transfers trash
What happened? Before my card came in i was able to add money from my PayPal easily but now after i got the card it seems like i can’t transfer. I removed it and relinked it but nothing. Is not PayPal because i was able to make a transfer to my cashapp. Then i called target reloadable support and that was complete trash so then i called PayPal and i thought it was because i had to add the card to PayPal but all that did was allow me to do instant transfers but that’s not what i want! I don’t want to pay a fee when the cash back isn’t even enough to cover that fee lol!!! On the plus side i did get $50 from them and i didn’t even expect it so that’s nice.

Don’t even bother SCAM !!!!!
If I could I would give it 0 stars. I applied yesterday Sunday with a greater they had at my local target that was promoting circle week . Stated I could get $50 dollars if I signed up . Today Monday I received an email stating my account was suspended followed by and email saying congratulations please fund account . When I attempted to log in it said my account was locked followed by a phone number to call for more information. When I called I was told due to regulations with American Express I wasn't allowed to have account I didn’t understand what did American Express have to do with Visa because Target is with Visa . When I told customer service that that didn’t make no sense , he said he couldn’t do more for me and have me an PO Box address to mail my concerns ! This is a total SCAM !!!

Almost Perfect
Just received the reloadable card and am quite excited seeing that I shop at Target bi-weekly. As I activated and reviewed the site, one major issue has arisen… Adding Funds. Seems like a simple fix that in this technological age, I could transfer funds from my bank account or debit/credit card, something. I have found that there is a reloadable app, but I have to pull out cash, take said cash to Target, get a barcode and then add the cash??! Whyyyyy so much work? Can we please work on this? Please!!!! Thank you!

Clunky and Inaccurate
Clunky to reload and store associates are often confused about the process, resulting in 15-20min of additional wait time just to apply funds. Balances are often incorrect (resulting in incorrect negative balance emails) and take days to a week to adjust accordingly. Plus, I originally signed up due to a $40 coupon offer that I never received. Target RedCard customer service offered no solution despite acknowledging the signup occurred within the promotional period. Sign up and provide your personal info at your own risk…

Don’t get this faulty card
All I did was apply to the card on May 21st. I got an email the next day saying my account was suspended. All I did was apply for the card, I haven’t even got anything sent in the mail yet. I haven’t done anything with the account. I called customer care 4 times and nothing was done. I EVEN MAILED A LETTER TO RED CARD. Still waiting for them to review. At this point, I'm getting very frustrated. With something dealing with people money, Target needs to do better!

Do not get this card!
Yesterday was my first direct deposit. Today, none of the apps work, customer care isn’t responding. They have an automated message saying their system is down and I can’t use my card or touch my money. I had bills due to pull today. This is crazy!! As soon as I can access I’m pulling everything out and never using this again!!

waste of time
I just left a target store where the employee and manager had no idea that a reloadable card existed and didn’t know how to load funds to the account. They would not assist me. I called the number in the app for customer service, where is was told to drive to other targets until I could find someone to load the funds, not everyone has been trained. WT…?!?!?

Scam!!!!
I saw the advertisement that if I open the reloadable account and pay $50 then get $50 back. Then I did I bought $91 but I haven't got anything back. Then I called customer service and they said I needed to pay exactly $50 to get $50 back. Totally a scam I paid for the reloadable fee of $3.5. Scam to customer, worst service ever!!!

Card does not work at target.
I follow the steps to reload at target. However, when the cashier scanned the barcode the system said the card is invalid. Customer support said card is active and valid but nothing they can do if the target system inside the store can’t read it.

Unable to load money using barcode
The red card reloadable gives me so much trouble whenever I try to load my cash using the barcode. This debit card seems like a good deal, but it is a nightmare to use. It is either the card has issue or Target needs to properly train the staffs.

The app is very buggy. Doesn’t always work on launch, it’s also a very poor user interface and why can’t it be added to the target app or Apple Pay?! Are any of those options coming soon???

Unavailable using VPN and no way to load 💰
App says it is "offline" when connected to VPN. Needs to be fixed. Also the only options to add funds are direct deposit, paper check, or visiting a Target store in person? It's a very old concept. Should be able to wire funds to a debit card

Not a RedCard?
After receiving my card, I tried to save it in the target circle app, but the app does not recognize my Reloadable card as a RedCard. So that means I can’t even enjoy the convenience of contactless pay in the ACTUAL Target app 😔

Add Funds Frustration
The allowable ways to “add funds” to the Target Reloadable RedCard needs to include the ability to utilize the customers debit or credit card… the options available are outdated and not an option for some.

The app is nice to have but wish the card was easier to load without all the fees. I wish I could use my card more often if it was allowed to be loaded easier or from my bank directly. The app could use a modification like a PIN code to log in instead of constantly having to put my password

UPDATE: 01/03/2023 So I’m not sure if making a complaint on here helped ? Or if going to my address on my mobile app profile and adding the letters APT for apartment helped ? However, after I added APT, I got an email 5 days later asking me to active my new card ? Got my card today and activated it without any issues. I’m updating my review from 1 star to 3 stars. I’ll monitor my account over the next 60 days and if everything goes well, I’ll change my rating again from 3 stars to to 4 stars 👍 ORIGINAL POST: 2 days after signing up for this account, I receive an email that says “to update my address” or they won’t be able to mail my debit card ? MY ADDRESS IS CORRECT !! And of course there’s no support email to send them a copy of my Drivers License that has the SAME address on it as proof this address is accurate ?? I tried calling the toll free number, but you have to have an active Debit Card in their system to get a person ?? Why is it that I can get another bank card at my address, a credit card at my address, and my Drivers License, but not THIS company’s Debit Card ?? I’m now VERY ANGRY !!!

Awful
The app and setup for this card is absolutely horrific. I cannot get the account numbers from the app verified by ANY bank to transfer money in, PayPal will transfer for a fee and after a few days (supposedly, anyway, although they ALSO couldn’t verify the Reloadable account number and I had to call them to verify that it was me initiating it and was put through the fraud department….on a PayPal account I’ve had for 20 years and trying to send TR a mere $100!). Depositing by check takes TEN days to appear in your funds or you can pay a hefty $8 fee to have the money immediately. What year are these developers living in? After five, yes five, attempts with creating and scanning a barcode, we finally got cash added to my account in store. My physical card is *still* not here, and ever since [FINALLY] successfully adding funds, my virtual card suddenly no longer works 🙃 where it was previously stored in my app no problem and viewable on a browser site also. Yes I know the virtual card is online/phone only. But now nope nothing! If I try to add it back, it says to please enter a RedCard. LOL 🫠 My money is floating in Target Reloadable space somewhere. Woohoo! I’m afraid to see what happens once I actually get the physical card, assuming I ever do! 10000% avoid. Just go with RedCard Debit.

The username and password combination isn’t right
I try to log in to the app but a message shows up stating the username and password combination isn’t right. Password has to include a upper/lower case letter, number, and no symbols. So I try to change the password online on web browser and remove the symbols. Yet, it still says the same thing. I can log in online but not on this app.

Can’t use
I loaded $1000 cash on this card and went to use it on the Target app. I got a $200 purchase off of it and it locked and then my target account froze and reset and I had to reset my password. After getting back into my Target account, my card would no longer work, I was on the phone with customer support for two hours and they still don’t know why my card doesn’t work. So now I have just shy of $800 on a card that won’t give me my money back. Never again.
