Seems like Renasant worked out all the initial kinks because I am able to login and use the app just fine. I use the Amex credit card app to manage my credit. So far this app is at par with all features provided by Amex. One feature that stands apart with the Renasant app is the ability to view all recurring subscriptions in one place. I started a trial subscription for a website which I will not forget to cancel :) The merchant icons make spending really easy to follow if you are a visual person.
I have an iPhone8. It logged in through the main Renasant app once, and looked fairly neat while I poked around in it that time, but following that one experience, it won't let me log in. It opens to the screen saying it will launch the Renasant app, but it never does anything. If I open the Renasant app at this point and manually log in directly through there, nothing happens. If I try to log in through the card app with my Renasant login credentials, it says they're wrong. I was never prompted to make unique login credentials for the card app, so I don't know what it wants. There is nothing like a "Forgot password" option to select. Finally, I deleted the app and reloaded it. It gave the same prompt saying it would now log in through the main Renasant app, but nothing ever happened. Dead app. So much time and frustration over an app that I still know basically nothing about. This app launch was a total failure.
i am having trouble logging in, just like other users said. when you try to log in from the renasant app instead of taking you to the card app it says “error” this has been going on for days and still nothing. I also am having issues logging in. As some of the other reviewers have said, when I try to login, it redirects me to the Renasant app, but never redirects back to the card app. Therefore, I cannot login as my only option when redirected to the Renasant app is to download the app, which I have obviously already done. I would love to use this app, but it seems there are a lot of issues that need to be fixed before that can happen. This has been resolved and now that I am able to login and use the app it is extremely helpful in tracking my spending! Great app.
iPhone 11 Pro running the latest iOS. Opens the Renaissance app to login and get a small box with error over the word error. Can’t login. Using face ID to login to Renaissance bank app. That app works fine.
I can turn on and off types of purchases, but can’t simply add a personal limit to each type. I can only limit total spending, which is useless in most cases, especially if you have a bill you forgot about. The purchase notifications are the strongest quality of this app, but I would like more spending control options rather than simply disabling them — something I’m sure I’ll forget I did when I go to purchase something. As an added note, I’m uncomfortable with the precise location requirement, but I guess that’s a part of the deal.
I have tried for days to link the card app to my renasant app, and it doesn’t do anything. Several weeks ago I tried it as well, but nothing has changed since then either. Everytime I open the app, it tells me to sign in with Renasant mobile. Everytime I open renasant mobile, it tells me to download the card app. It also says if I already have it downloaded, that I need to have the most updated version of the app and update for my phone. I have both. It’s very disappointing as the card app looks interesting! Please help or fix whatever bug this is!
I too continue to have problems with login for the card app. I cannot get in the app if I try directly or thru the banking app. Yes I HAVE CALLED customer service multiple times with today being my third time. The call lasted 34 minutes. I have made all phone updates and uninstalled/reinstalled the app. So far no one in customer service has resolved the problem for me. I had to ask for a ticket to be created/submitted. Adreanna was the customer service rep and I felt she was a bit curt-they have recorded line and are welcome to listen.
The function to turn my card on and off stopped working. Deleted the app and uploaded it again but the function to turn my card on and off is still not working. Also the control preferences are confusing. I was turned down for a restaurant purchase and I still don’t know why so I turned all the preferences off to save embarrassment. The only positive so far is that I am notified instantly when I use my card for a purchase, or in my case a purchase denial.
The app works really well but needs the option to add more than one card because some accounts have more than one debit card associated with them (husband and wife for ex). I would really like to be able to get notifications for both cards associated with my joint checking account.
I have the iPhone 12. App doesn’t work. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled both the banking app and card app. I’ve tried to access the card app from the mobile banking app with no success. Just states error. Same message when going thru card app. Have tried multiple days. Would be a nice feature if it would work.
It let me use the app for a good 2 weeks before it wouldn’t let me back on. I called and got help and was told that the problem could be with my carrier somehow. Everytime I click “Log in with Renasant Banking” it redirects me to the banking app and acts like it is trying to get me in the car app but then I get a pop up saying “error” like it cannot complete it. I don’t know what else to do and I was enjoying using that app to help me save.
I recently visited a sam’s club and tried to make payment of $11 and change. The card would not work butI knew there was money there. Do you know the embarrassment of not being able to pay $11 on my card. The card had been turned off because of inactivity. I hope one day you have to go through this so you I’ll know how it feels.
It works fine EXCEPT for the fact that it never just lets me sign in from the app. It’s like that button just doesn’t work. I always have to get taken to the Renasant app, sign in on there, then go back to the Card app. It gets very tedious.
I’ve loved the app so far but now it won’t let me sign back in via Renasant app. Don’t have a way to sign in via card app. Don’t know why all of a sudden it quit working. Wish I could keep using it.
It use to work great and now it won’t work when I try to log in...it goes to setting up the app which I obviously have already done. It’s very aggravating because I was enjoying the app very much!!! Really want it to work again!!
I was so excited to try to feature, but whenever it prompted me into sign in the app via Renasant mobile, I clicked the button and it redirected me to the app but it didn’t sign me up or anything. I’m still stuck on the same issue because it just wouldn’t let me sign up. Thank you.
I have tried for days to link my card app and my account. The card app redirects me to the mobile app but then doesn’t give me the option to go back to the card app. I even tried logging in with my information and it says it is incorrect. Would be a good app if I could actually get it to work ;(
Cannot log in at all from a 2020 iPhone SE. Just an endless loop of the Card App prompting the Renasant Mobile Banking app to login, and the Renasant Mobile Banking app opening the App Store to download the Card App (which is already loaded onto my phone). No way around it to simply log in with my own credentials. Developers should fully test the app before launch.
So it worked for a few months and now it randomly says I cant log in because im not authorized to... not sure what the problem is and I contacted the bank but they don't know what happened either.
I can’t rate this app properly because it does not allow me to use its features. You can only log into the Card App using the Renasant Banking App, but it won’t redirect me to the Card App. It just says that it might take a few hours. Well, it’s been a day, and nothing has happened. I uninstalled and reinstalled with no progress.
I have a Renasant Bank credit card and, apparently, there is no app. I have to call a 1-800 number to get my balance, check everything, etc., over the phone, which is annoying. I’d love to have an App to access!!!!
Renasant Bank is so far behind with technology. This app will not work. It says I have to login using the mobile banking app. It opens the banking app and keeps telling me to download the card app. Opens the card app and says login using banking app. Never ending circle. Don’t waste your time. If I could give zero stars, I would.
They never have their act together. Everything is out dated and old school. They make you go to the branch for everything. Their app does nothing productive or helpful. A complete disgrace and I’ve been stuck with them for over ten years.
I’d love to use the card app but it takes me to my mobile banking app and instead of authorizing and returning to the card app, the only option I’m given is to download the card app. It’s and endless cycle which will not allow me to sign in to the card app. It’s annoying.
Takes me on a loop to download and the. Login with mobile. But if you know your mobile log in you can log in, but every time I do, it tells me incorrect password/username. It’s not! I can log in on the mobile app. Looks like it would be a great app, as of now.... complete trash!
The app has never worked for me it won’t even open it gives me notifications when my card is swiped but that is about it when I try to open it it goes to my mobile bank app then won’t go back to card app
I cannot log into this app. It redirects me to the bank app and then doesn’t redirect back. I have also tried using my login info from the bank app and cannot login that way either.
This app does not work….Extremely frustrating. It keeps telling me to login from the mobile banking app, but then will login on the banking app, but not the card app. Please fix this issue.

I get alerts for the card app but the app will not open. Unable to login but receive alerts?!? I closed the mobile app as well and the card app link is not in the mobile app.
Same problems as other reviewers. Can’t even log in. Endless cycle. Also lol at having to call to get into/use an app. That’s poor design and shame on you for shoving that burden on your call centers.
