I tried several other exterior design apps before, but none offered the same level of precision and creativity. The app's suggestions were spot on, and I ended up incorporating many of them into my final design plan.
I thought I would give this app a shot for visual staging of a simple small home. I have spent hours trying to generate a dining room. Literally I have created hundreds of rooms all of which were supposed to be dining rooms but every time they came out as living rooms. I changed my descriptions from vague to specific and used photos of dining rooms as my aspiration. Then I used a photo of an unattractive plain room with plain dining table. I selected enhance just to try and improve the furniture - it opened walls closed walls added a kitchen and left the dining table the same. I tried tweak instead and it took out sliding glass doors changed the flooring and added a kitchen and again the dining table looked the same. I did create a decent living room. The bedroom was better than the dining room but not nearly as good as the living room. I recommend this app for creating very simple living rooms and really that’s all.
If you’re looking for an app to take your existing photo and change it, this is the app for you. But if you’re looking for an app to give you ideas of simple changes or additional features like furniture, this is not even close to the app you should use. I tried to upload an image of my back deck as I’m looking into screening in the space, adding doors, and adding furniture. I wanted to see if there was an app that would allow me to see my options.. This not only didn’t screen in the deck, it didn’t add the doors, and it didn’t even add in furniture no matter what feature I put it on. What it did do was completely change the entire layout, add additional wood features, changed my backyard, etc. I even tried to make things extra simple in the prompt my selecting the ‘Tweak’ feature and putting in the prompt for “do not change image” and “add a rocking chair”. It did neither of the items as requested.

I just spent $40 on this app and it’s literally the worst thing I’ve ever seen. I wish I could upload the pictures here in this review to show you what it’s coming up with. I literally am just trying to upload a picture of a living room and look at different paint colors and it is the most bizarre thing, it is showing me an entire room in turquoise including the ceiling or showing me the whole room so dark you can’t even see the paint/ I’ve been messing with it for two hours and can’t get to the point where I can get one simple image of a change of paint color. Now I’m just trying to figure out how to get my money back. Beyond frustrating! How is it possible with all of the technology and AI? No one has even semi decent app that just simply lets you change colors or change flooring -the most basic things that renovators need.
I wanted to remodel certain parts of my home. Doing it the traditional way, I would have to take an appointment with an interior designer and spend time and effort for visit/consultation charges. However, with Renovate AI, I was able to see how other users are renovating their homes. With selective inspirations, I was able to create multiple concepts for myself and my home instantly. It was amazing. I was able to mix and match themes to match my existing organic rustic furniture. It saved me a ton of time, money and effort. Loved it.
Didn’t know there was a limit on number of Renovations!!
Just purchased this app yesterday. I didn’t even have the chance to try out any of the features before it said I had used the maximum amount of Renovations and would need to upgrade to Pro. I had no idea there was a limit. Very stingy, since I had only taken around seven pictures and playing with the different styles. All I got the app to do was to replace my existing furniture with the same size and shape, just different style. Kind of fun, but not even worth the $10… plus I thought I could at least play with the basic version for a month before deciding if I wanted to keep or upgrade my subscription. So I’ve decided to cancel. I did not intend to pay $10 for a one day trial… total scam.

Without a subscription, this app gives you no facility to delete your uploaded photos. You have to contact customer support and ask them to do it for you. Fortunately, their customer support is excellent and they deleted my photos immediately upon request. Furthermore, location info is sent along with photos by default. You have to go to the settings and explicitly turn this off. These are real privacy concerns that make me reluctant to continue exploring this app, so I can’t speak to the usefulness of its features. I did try the auto remodel feature and that looked like fun. If they correct these issues, I’d try the app again.
This app is absolute garbage. It should be categorized as a game because the results are completely unpredictable. Just random stuff like my entire front yard was pools of water and piles of rock. The next attempt my house was a pile of geometric shapes. I requested a refund as soon as it posted to my account (took over a week to process) but Apple refused. Based on the high ratings for this app, it looks like the developer is getting people to change their ratings after they leave a negative review. Well too bad, you can keep the $10, but I’ll let everyone know your app is a poorly thought out rough draft. Definitely released before it was ready.
I canceled my subscription right away when I saw you can’t even tell the items used in the pictures generated. Yet I still got charged $10 for a weekly rate. The free week trial said expiring soon but still charged before that ended. I switched it to $2.99 weekly rate which, was not an initial option, incase it kept charging me. Then I went to immediately cancel again to try and see if that’d work. I requested a refund right after I cancelled that for the previous $10 I was charged and when it said to select item Apple says I have nothing purchased? I’m feeling scammed! I can’t get a hold of the developer
This app currently holds the best infrastructure I've used for renovation ideas. You can select specific areas to alter, input your own ideas as reference for the AI to go with, and it also has a few other cool features, plus has given realistic potentials. That being said, the AI still has a lot of learning to do. Many times I'd get botched results, not what I asked for, or things that are flat out attainable. I think if you want to charge a premium price, these features need to be trustworthy.
Seems to have great potential, but has been glitchy for me so far(iPhone 14 pro max). I uploaded a photo of the project I am working on seamlessly into the app. However, the app crashes before I can even use their tools to manipulate the image. I have had to delete and reinstall twice now. I have not paid for “full access” yet, but the functionality at the “user trial level” makes me wonder. I see a lot of 5 star reviews, maybe I’m the only one experiencing these issues, idk…
Terrible app. I got stuck in a loop of verifying my info after purchase where it would only let me use some features on the web, and then would want to charge for other features. When I tried to use the app, it wanted me to verify my info again I got sent back to the web version in an unbreakable loop. The functionality that was available before I paid was clunky at best. It struggled to recognize features, hung up several times. I felt like I was using a beta version. It is not ready to be full price. I requested a refund through Apple and they approved it.
This is a horrible app. Do not purchase. I wanted to be able to add a picture of my room and then add different pieces to see how it would look and then re arrange as needed. All I can do on your app is upload a picture and have your AI analyze what is there and then change my picture to one of your pre designed features which are completely out of touch with what I would want in my room. I am extremely unhappy with this app. I feel like I am paying to teach your AI how to analyze pictures Ridiculously misleading description of what the app would offer.

The reviews are obviously fake. The app is unusable. Completely random, and not random in the sense of “oh I don’t like that furniture choice ” random like “I wanted an empty room to be staged with a couch and rug but it generated a Picasso painting loosely resembling the structure of my walls” Tried the exterior mode just to see and it’s equally bad. Unless you want to see what your house looks like without a roof and 3 driveways to nowhere. Waste of time and money. Don’t be fooled by the fake reviews and don’t think it has 10% of the features they’re selling. It’s actually a joke how hyperbolic the reviews are
This was the perfect app for getting our new home up and running in no time! Moving to a new city into an empty apartment is always nerve wracking at the least! I used it for one of my listings that was vacant and didn’t have a lot of action. This app is great. Very easy to use and very affordable. Lots of choices to decorate the rooms. Listing went under contract within 2 weeks after I virtually staged it. Highly recommend this app!
I decided to go with the free trial just to see if I would like it. It had a lot of bugs and did not do anything that I needed it to do. It was hard to figure out and I don’t think you should be charged that much for this app. I didn’t even finish my free trial. I just canceled the subscription immediately but still got charge for the subscription and now Apple is saying it could take up to 30 days to get my money back. That is bad business especially for the quality of the app.

As someone who's always knee-deep in some kind of home project, I've tried a bunch of apps, but Renovate AI takes the cake. The 3D models are so lifelike, it felt like I was moving real furniture around. And the material search feature? A total time-saver. This app's becọme my new sidekick for all my DIY adventures.
I purchased the app to get full access and be able to create a virtual room. I select Bathroom designs and keeps creating kitchens! I put into words to create a bathroom and still get a kitchen. AI is supposed to understand and create based on the wording. Is beyond me how it can keep mixing bathroom with kitchen. The only good function is erasing… but is no good when everything else is broken. I want a refund please. I will be more than happy to restore my purchase once’s you have improved the app to do what is supposed to do
This app is not where it claims to be in capability wise- it’s an over-promise and under-deliver situation. Super glitchy, complex to use, can’t undo a single change and have to undo everything. I think Remodel AI is superior. No trial period, I purchased a yearly subscription because it was much cheaper that way versus monthly. I deleted the app within an hour of using it because it was not good, and immediately requested a refund which was denied twice despite my feedback being supportive of a refund and my use of only one hour. Not cool.
This site is not user friendly at all. I paid for the weekly subscription so I could try it out, I have not been able to log in with my laptop. The email I used for the subscription was a Hotmail one. It lets you use whatever email you want once you’re paying, but it never made me create an actual account. So now that I’m trying to log in, I cannot because you can only use a Apple or Google account. It should have told me that from the beginning. Such a headache.
I have clicked on the “don’t ask me until later” checkbox regarding feedback, at least 10 times. Yet every time I’m trying to do anything it pops up and asks me for feedback. It’s like a millennial child who had helicopter parents that is off at college for the first time. Am I doing okay? How about now? Look am I doing good?
I used the Bathroom Remodel tool and tried out different designs and the results were amazing! The app’s UI is so well-designed, it made it really simple to play around with styles and quickly find the perfect fit for my bathroom.

Kinda disappointed in this. The potential is great but the user experience isn’t. Paid $10 to test the paint colors but you can only do one color, not accent walls. It’s also extremely slow to load and then if you exit out it doesn’t save at all and you have to reupload the image. Unsubscribed :(
Renovate AI made designing my office so simple! The interface is easy to use and the whole process was smooth. I’m really impressed with how everything turned out. Highly recommend!
This app is pretty bad for the price. The ai creates unusable and unrealistic images to the point where it completely transforms your house and adds things that don’t make sense. The custom color generator is also pretty crappy, and is also available for free from some major paint manufacturers websites. Overall I do not recommend this app, it would be ok if it was free, but certainly not worth paying for.
Literally awful. I just wanted to change the cabinet colors and the wall color. Didn’t have the colors I wanted in the options. Tried the a.i. portion of it and it completely remodels the room to look like a millionaires home. When you ask it to generate something, it does the opposite of what you ask. If I could give this 0 stars I would. Waste of 10 dollars. Thank god it wasn’t any more than that.
I downloaded this to try to see what different paint colors would look like on my new place and every prompt I typed in gave me absolutely baffling results. Instead of changing the color of the house it completely changed the structure and turned the lawn purple. If I could give this app less than one star I would. It was a complete waste of time.
I uploaded a photo of a bathroom we plan on remodeling. I used the highlight feature and highlighted the stand up shower and typed in “remove and add a bathtub” and in its place it generated a naked women (full on breasts with nipples). If I wanted to pay for porn, I would. If I knew this was going to happen I wouldn’t have spent my real money on this app. I had my kids next to me and luckily they didn’t see
App is a scan. You can pay $10 to use it for a week or $40 for the year. You can’t do anything on the app until your purchase one of the plans. Was so excited to use the eraser to see space empty. It does not remove items like it advertises on the app. It is blurry and unusable. Purchase one of the plans currently trying to get a fund because it is a scam.
I bought pro on the website and it said I would have access to the app! When I downloaded the app it wanted me to pay again! I tried logging in and everytime I clicked to log in on it would just bring me back to subscription option! Im P******. I spent $10 for nothing! It also wont let me click on terms of service! It just does nothing.
This app is super frustrating and AI can’t generate the most basic request (“light green exterior”). Gave pea green, dark yellow and brown. Didn’t generate the door color I requested either. Completely different. Confusing to use and navigate, can’t actually change the color of anything easily, can’t save without signing in. I’m annoyed I even spent 10 dollars on this
I was expecting an app that let me incorporate multiple photos into an overall design. It only allows one picture at a time and the AI assistant doesn’t seem to understand any requests. Plus, the “suggestions” are awful. Disappointing because I had high hopes. Hopefully the developers read this because I want my money back.
Don’t waste your money. App is glitchy and the company doesn’t respond. I emailed them over a month ago with no response to date. They won’t reimburse your money. I asked for a refund on day one after realizing that the app wasn’t what I expected and have had no response. What kind of company doesn’t respond to customers? Don’t waste your money!!
