I love this game, as I was a fan of the Superstar games that would come out, especially the BTS version. But, I do have a suggestion. In the game, there is the option to compete/play online with other players. I think it’s a great thing and it’s really cool. But, sometimes it’s purely based off of which player has the better card rather than which player has the better performance, I know that if an S card did horrible and missed every note that they would lose to a B card. But, if an S card still got hits and performed good, even if the B card performed better than them they would be the best performer. I guess what I’m trying to say it, they should have a ranked thing, I think they should rank players based off of their cards. I think you should put players with a B card with other players with a B card and do the same thing with the other ranks. I don’t know if this is possible, but I think in theory it could be. Also, if a player is playing on hard mode then put them in a game session with other players that are playing in hard mode. I think it would make it a more fair and competitive feature. This is just a thought I’ve been having. Other than that, the game is really enjoyable and fun to play. The developers are great at updating the game. I experienced a bug in the game, and it was gone by the next day. I hope they keep up the hard work!

ive been playing this game since the testing phases, even before seventeen came to this game. i really really loved this game and would play it every day. this new update ruined every hope i had for this game. originally I would have given this game 4 stars but this update brought it down a whole star. i just don't understand why you guys had to change the whole game. like i literally feel like i just downloaded a whole new game. i appreciated if they gave us tutorial to see how this new game is going to work out. playing the actual game now is actually so irritating. i feel like this there is a delay, it took me FOREVER to finally figure out that I need to swipe the new tiles you added, and it's so much hardest to find the song you are looking for. also why remove the monthly quest, live stage, cheer mode, and (they removed this a while ago) mixing songs? i wasn't a big fan of cheer mode but i have cards for it. so what now they are just useless? and mixing the four groups together is probably the worst part about everything tbh. it was so much easier having all four of the groups separated because it's easier to get new cards. now everything just feels all over the place. i could complain about more stuff but these are the most important to me. i am literally BEGGINGGG that you can maybe make an option to go back to the old version or just the last update. i feel like I just lost one of my favorite games.
Mostly love the game, and played the original super star BTS. I had put a lot of money into that game and when they ended it suddenly it took some time to get over and come back to this game. Recently been pretty into it but one thing I don’t like is the card importance. In superstar BTS if you played hard or super hard and hit all the notes you could still get a good rating and then having good cards boosted your score even higher to compete with other ppl who did well on the song and worked on their cards. However in this game you could hit every note perfectly in super hard and still only get a C or a B. It makes scores largely dependent on how many cards you have which makes it feel pay to win. It doesn’t matter your skill you will never get a good score without the right cards. I hate this aspect. Also wish it was a bit harder, super star bts on hard mode or super hard was insanely challenging especially for the cypher tracks (PLS ADD THE CYPHER TRACKS ESPECIALLY TRYPTECH) I also wish you could do a no fail mode. When practicing a hard track the option to take a low score rather then have to quit for missing some notes is always appreciated to practice. I guess in this case you don’t do that because of the above. Being able to finish the song even with lots of missed notes your score isn’t much different then if you pass and hit all the notes in both cases you would get a C and again that’s so annoying.
Ok tbh this game is super cool and fun I’ve been playing for over a year now and I have great cards but 1. I think paid gems is very unfair to players in order to get what they want for example diary stickers and also mics 2. For a multi fan it’s very annoying to restart the game for each group for example if I’m in BTS but I want to switch to TXT the game has to restart, I wish they would put them all together and the fans who want to play their fav artist choose and don’t play the other groups if they don’t Stan them 3. I wish they would give the chance to get the right cards in the right Card draws for example I have 200 gems and I want to waste them in the TXT magic live performance card pack but once I draw them I get none of the cards but just cards from the other themes I think it’s unfair to waste our gems knowing we won’t get the cards we want and have a higher chance to get them and lastly 4. I would suggest it would be great if they let players follow each other’s profile and chat with them so they can play together that’s it I know it’s a tough job to keep this game up but it’s truly amazing!!! I hope you can read my suggestions!
So when the game first launched i was so excited because Superstar BTS was my go to favorite game. When i played it, i was really disappointed because it wasn’t what i expected it too be. Maybe i hyped myself up too much for rhythm hive and expected it to be like superstar but a little better. Anyway i found myself not playing it so much. It just didn’t really catch my interest, until they finally did an update on it. It felt more like superstar in a way. I love the fact that now there are missions, special missions for certain occasions, more cards, more backgrounds, you get coins, cards, diamonds when you log in, comeback gifts, and many more. I play it everyday now. I really enjoy playing it because it has the daily missions, weekly and seasonal now. Of course it’s not all ponies and rainbows, there are some stuff I think could be improved. For one the prices to buy stuff are ridiculous, i don’t remember superstar charging you that much for diamonds, or special cards etc. If you want the membership you have to get it for each group which i think could be put together as one price if you’re willing to pay a monthly service for it. I’m still not too fond of the live stage. It’s sort of boring and not really as fun. I also think more songs could be added.. Overall i enjoy playing the game more than i did before! Thank you so much for the improvements but there is also room to grow!
I’ve only had this game for two days, and so far it has been very fun and I actually find it pretty addicting. However, I have a few complaints. First, my main method of playing is going to the Mix option and playing through that. However, every time I click the Mix button to open that section, it pauses for a moment and then says “Error has occurred” and leaves me with the only option of restarting the app. In an attempt to fix this problem, I have turned off and on my wifi, restarted the app, and even turned off my phone completely, yet it continues to do this without fail. Secondly, I don’t mean to complain about the games overall design, however I have noticed that the constant flashing lights and bright colors does give me a headache pretty quickly. I’m sure a warning of some kind was in the terms and services, but I recommend that if you want your players to play for longer, create the option for darker backgrounds, and maybe to stop the flashing lights in the background. Another final complaint that I have is the crazy prices everything is sold for. They way it is all set up makes it clear the main objective is for the player to actually buy things with money, if that wasn’t the obvious purpose of the app anyway. But, I digress, even if the coin and diamond amounts dropped a little bit it would help, or at least make it easier/quicker to earn them.
I’m going to complain but every time when I hold the note it doesn’t registered as me hold the notes on the new Rhythm hive but the old Rhythm hive would be much better because it doesn’t cause issue and I doubt that the old Rhythm hive only have 4 groups to pick and switch every times have vs, play other people songs and you can use Gems on packs and other things but in the new Rhythm hive there’s a lot of complicated steps like there is groups that’s all together more k-pop members having a gems system like you have to buy pay gems if you want to buy one of the pay gems items, no versions, and campaign like there’s chapters 1-2-3-4 etc and the most painful is the up arrows when you have to hit the note but move your hand up is what’s painful. What I like about it is that you can use the cards When you level up the one card to 50 & have a card in UR and use those to get messages, voice messages and background is what’s good. But out of everything I would say just don’t put anymore k-pop in the mix and bring back the old Rhythm hive that’s better then this as I enjoy it on the old Rhythm hive it made me less enjoyable on the new Rhythm hive. Good things about it tho is the cards opening packs when opening the box is what I like and I can see what cards I have and what I don’t have the k-pop groups new songs is good as well.
I really enjoy rhythmhive! I’ve got all of my friends playing it! However, the new update is not my favorite. The entire game changed… it’s not even rhythmhive anymore…. The entire feel of the game has changed. It feels like any other rhythm game now, not rhythmhive. I enjoyed rhythmhive most because it wasn’t like every other game. It was special and different. I could focus on a single group at a time and not get cards of other groups that I didn’t know or want. My least favorite features are the new HP bar, how you can’t skip around the chapters anymore, the way the look of the notes changed, and most of all… how it no longer has the name of the singers on the pathway when playing. My favorite feature of all was how the names of the singers were displayed on the pathway with the notes. It helped me learn who sang what, while I was still playing. I cannot look at the cards while I play. I really wish this feature would be brought back most of all. As for the HP bar, if I want to play badly on Hard mode at the fastest speed, let me play badly! I find it even more frustrating having to worry about HP, which makes me less likely to play the game when I’m in a stressed state. To conclude, I most of all want the names to be displayed again. I wish there was a mode with no HP bar we have to worry about. Thank you.
I’ve been playing this game on and off for two years, but only recently have I gotten back into it. I’m a MOA and ARMY, and I’m a huge fan of rhythm games. The actual gameplay of studio mode, chapter mode, and live play are all engaging and well planned out. I think the developers made those levels really well. However, I have two issues with this game. First, cheer mode. It’s a creative idea, but messy and horribly created. The heart section isn’t ever timed correctly, and whenever I have to do the circle-motion it always says that I miss because I don’t know where to end the rotation. The tutorial is unclear yet somehow lengthy, and doesn’t well teach how to fully do cheer mode. It’s a good idea, but executed poorly. Second, events. Events are so pay to win, and you barely ever have any time to earn good rewards from it if you don’t pay any money. The XR cards are overpriced, like $30?! And the concept photos should be marked down some as well. The idea that the higher level cards are so expensive and difficult to get start to demotivate me, and make me not want to try hard because no matter how hard I try, I won’t be able to get the card I want (as a free to play player). If the developers even just looked into the issues of cheer mode, then I might bring my review up. Overall, nice game, but a few very weak points.
So I really like this app so far, despite other reviews I believe Rhythm Hive is a vast improvement from SuperStar BTS. The only complaint I have is that with the main system it’s kind of hard to get coins in comparison to coin costs for things like upgrades. There is no coin reward for the song line missions that have recently been implemented in the game and the only way to get coins is through either waiting for a few hours and only getting around 1000 coins each time (which by the way can only pay for about one round of powering up a card) or playing full songs over and over again only to get below 100 coins. It’s just really frustrating sometimes when I go to upgrade cards but have no coins despite playing the long list of mission songs for each artist. Another suggestion is doing what you could in SuperStar where you could sell extra cards for more coins. Overall I really like the game and appreciate all the effort that’s been put into it, but I just wish the coins were easier to get.
I just updated my Rhythm Hive on my ipad to the newest version and I'm not sure what I was expecting but certainly not what we ended up getting. The entire aesthetic of the game has changed, the app basically was revamped. I think maybe the creators wanted the game to have a cute, new look but I am very dissatisfied with the logistics of the game now. It is difficult to navigate certain parts of the app. I wish I could play with the artist I chose in the beginning which was Enhypen, I don't mind playing the other artists but I worked really hard in all of the chapters for Enhypen and all of that work is gone now. Not to mention the actual gameplay itself... absolutely atrocious. Like whatever you think is bad BUT WORSE. The tiles don't even match up with the music? And the sound they make when you tap on them is awful and gets in the way of whatever song you're playing. I preferred the previous gameplay, it was actually fun! I will probably be deleting the game since all of my high scores were lost, my unlocked songs gone, and my chapter progress is also gone. It's too bad, I was really getting into Rhythm Hive again but this update has completely changed my mind. I was expecting the update to come along with Enhypen's latest release, Dark Blood, but rather got a very drastic remodel of the game as a whole. It doesn't even feel like Rhythm Hive anymore. :/ Didn't think I'd have to write anything like this.
I played SUPERSTAR BTS back when it was available, and quickly switched the Rhythm Hive the second it was released. That being said, I love this Hybe artist game because I am a big fan of all the groups at Hybe! But this update is HORRIBLE. As a veteran player, this new layout with all the different gadgets and rules are so confusing! Not to mention the Performance Card situation, because I don’t even know how to work anything on that page. Even though I stan all 4 of the current groups, I mainly play for ENHYPEN and TXT. So why are all my card packs filled randomly with each group? What happened to the individual group card packs? Why do we have to trade our cards to get the ones we want, when before we would get what we want easily without trading? And the gameplay: why do the tiles make that noise when you hit them? It used to be more of a vibration noise than that awful clacking sound. And why does the entire gameplay look different? Also, it’s way harder to have high scores now, even if you get mostly Marvelous hits. And why did you guys delete all our previous progress? All my old unopened card packs, mission progress, and the different mission seasons are completely gone! I’m basically starting from the beginning all over again! Can you guys just put the game back how it was before the update? Everyone is used to it and likes it more, and people would stop deleting.
look i really love this game but i cant stand it when you open for a cards pack you dont even get at least one. for me from the day the new cards of seventeen live came out i didnt get anything i just got one jeonghan and it was B and i upgraded it by myself and i bought the pack with one XR but that is not my problem my problem is that i opened so fuvking much and all i have is two cards and you know that seventeen have 13 members so it's gonna be hard to collect so maybe you should at least make it easier for us and i tell you from the day it came out i opened more than 100 cards and still none i am honestly sick from this because this is basically stealing our money and not giving us any thing and when i told you more than 100 cards i meant when you spend 200 diamond for the 10 pull so i basically spended more than 1000 diamond so please fix this i am sick and honestly disappointed i was there with rhythm hive before the quest come out so please fix this at least give me more than 3 members from the new live cards in seventeen (outfit of the day) and that is all~ i hope you read this and take this seriously because i know more than 15 people who left and stopped playing rhythm hive because of the same reason so please take this seriously and fix it and in the end have a great day'▾'........
I understand that HYBE is trying a fresh start, new name, new app, which includes their other groups. Though as someone who is solely a fan of BTS and is not interested in the other groups under the label, it’s odd and quite annoying that i’m receiving cards that are from other groups. It makes sense for BTS to have their own separate app because they’re so popular, and the other groups could have a sort of Superstar HYBE situation. Onto my bias for ssbts, and the Dalcom Superstar games, I wish bighit had never ended their contract with Dalcom, the game was extremely satisfying and enjoyable to play, the songs had a range of difficulty from easy to hard, it was all easy to navigate and I much prefer the layout of ssbts than this Rhythm Hive. The beat maps were better quality, these lag too much and cause me to not pass levels because it glitches and makes me miss hits. There’s no ranking system, no gaining a higher rank to look forward at the end of the week, no accessible daily missions. I’m also put off by the fact that no BTS solo songs are included. As well as the fact that the artist cards are way too expensive to level up. I’m extremely disappointed and saddened to have Superstar BTS gone, it was by far a better game, but I understand what they’re trying to do here and hopefully there will be bug fixes and updates. I’m still holding onto my hope for SSBTS to possibly make a comeback.
I’ve been playing this game since the day it came out, probably at least an hour everyday as well. The complaints I have are typical, like how the amount of coins for each song or mix still isn’t very high, and how the songs are really long considering how small amount of reward we get, but I’ve gotten used to it, and as the more points your performance cards have the more coins you get for the mixes. What I don’t like however is the fact that if you randomly have a high card for one member, the only performance card you could get for the mixes is that performance card, so I would have 5+ a performance cards for one member, while c performance cards for others, which makes it really hard to have the other members be the best performer. The last thing that is really annoying and aggravating is the fact that I cannot count the number of times I have lost my rewards for a mix or a live stage because an error has occurred. Just today, at least 3 mixes and live stages had an error occur right after I finished playing the songs, which in all wasted 15 minutes of my time without getting any sort of reward or record that I did them. This has been happening over the past couple of days, even though I know for a fact that my wifi and internet connection isn’t a problem. What a waste of time for no rewards. The frustration makes me not want to even play this game.
I love the game, I’ve been waiting for the new release for the BTS game but it’s slower than before even if it goes to 4x on hard mode. I’ve played games similar to Rhythm Hive and they have gone much much faster, I think the game songs in Rhythm Hive should be more faster because 4x isn’t as fast as I thought it would be. The game needs much work especially now since it’s new but most of the fast songs are gone now and it isn’t as enjoyable and you have to pay for membership which is kind of preposterous... replacing the original game was a bad idea/choice the games you play with people are rigged because your score only gets higher if you have a higher rated card, but as a former player who got decent at the game, it is unfair because it doesn’t go on from talent just card and the way you get cards and level up cards is a bad system too also the fact that perfecting the game is way too easy, it should be like how it was before that you miss none of them and you complete h the e game perfectly but instead it lets you slide which is eh not the best, I really like to perfect the game and it’s just way too easy with a small amount of songs. The game in total has made it too easy and it’s not as enjoyable anymore, there are many more games that offer harder and more enjoyable songs even if it’s not BTS.

I played rhythm hive a little while ago and it was really fun. I decided to get back on it recently and saw it was different then the last time I played. The swiping and is a good way to make it more challenging. The new tile though remind of another game and I prefer the old tiles before the update happened. I also wish that I could pick what groups I got from my card pack because I am not much a BTS or seventeen stan but I always get them. I don’t hate BTS or seventeen but I don’t play their music and would rather get the other groups like txt, enhypen, le sserafim, and newjeans. I also think that Fromis_9 should get added because they are in hybe. They might not be as popular but their music is still really good and I will miss them when they disband. I also don’t like how some stuff in the shop you have to pay with gems you have paid for and not the ones you worked for. I was up all night trying to get something but I didn’t notice that I had to pay with gems I paid for. I hope you guys consider having card packs for certain groups and bring Froms_9 to rhythm hive. My experience in here is very good and it is really fun!!
I actually really love this game, although I was very partial to Superstar BTS. I love that TXT and Enhypen were added to the game. However, I was expecting some BTS solo songs to be added to the selection. And I also think it’s weird that there’s a song that is just the vocal line, but the cards for the rap line come up on that song. There’s no point in that because the rap line isn’t in the song. Also, there’s no song that consists of JUST the rap line even though there’s one for the vocal line. Also, I wish there was a pause button for the live stages. The price to upgrade the cards is pretty ridiculous after going from A to S level. And the price to draw cards is pretty high too. 200 gems for a 10 pack of cards that range from B to S is not ok. 100 gems would have been just fine. And there should have been one price if you wanted the fan services. Why do we have to pay for each individual group? Overall, I enjoy playing the game and think that it’s very fun. I appreciate that there’s gems, cards, and coins for you once you open it. I love the rewards we get for stuff that goes on outside the game too. Rhythm Hive is a step up from my once beloved Supersrar BTS so I’m pretty satisfied.
so far, it's a good game and i enjoy playing along to bts and txt and enhypen songs :) however i do think there's a lot to be fixed. i know the game is kind of new, but i would really like to see more songs on there, and also a harder difficulty because they are easier than the last superstar game. is it possible to add the cyphers on here? i remember in the old rhythm game for bts i loved playing those, as they brought more of a challenge. also, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add a pause button to the regular live play!!!! sometimes things come up and i need to pause but i have no way of doing that except for exiting out of the app, and i dont want to do that and restart the whole song again. in my opinion, the songs shouldn't be full length because then they just get too long and tiring. maybe there can be an option for a shortened version and a longer version? lastly, the design for the game overall is okay. i like the loading screen and main menu and song selection, but the design for the actual gameplay is a little bit tacky. there's a lot of pink and bright colors that are very distracting, so maybe they can be toned down a little. there is definitely more to be improved on, but overall it's a good game and i'll be spending a lot of time playing it :)
I really loved playing this game before but since the new update I haven’t really been playing it that much. I suppose it’s alright but some things I don’t really like about the newer update is how I can’t acquire performance cards for specific groups and now to be able to get performance cards it’s just randomized when before when you would be playing let’s say txt, you would only get performance cards for that group. Another thing is I really liked how I can see what cards I’ve already acquired and which ones I still needed but now I can’t see that and I don’t really like that. In addition, I don’t really like the way we have to upgrade our cards. Before in the older version, even though you had multiple cards of the same B or R you could just upgrade to the next level without any problem but now you need like special resources to be able to upgrade it. Overall the update is not really to my liking I miss the old version. Also, I miss the way how in arcade mode, even though you made multiple mistakes you can still get through the song without getting stopped. As of now when playing in arcade mode you can’t get past the song since it instantly stops and it’s hard to get the points.
I used to love this game and I had played it when it was fairly new I loved the concept of a musically based rhythm game using the songs of artists I love. Even though the new updates add stuff which I find unnecessary and cluttering to the game, as a whole I understand why it’s added to continue giving the players an enjoyable and new experience. And when I say this I’m saying it with my whole chest the new update, specifically the “paid gems” is quite upsetting. As a free to pay player I had to play through the levels and complete the missions to be able to buy a new background for txt or to get the new cards in the shop for enhypen and etc. and the fact that after the update the gems I had saved up which I was waiting to use to buy a new background once the shop reset where suddenly unusable. Can’t the other paid content and ads for easier gameplay be enough? Enough for a company that already makes so much money? I used to love this game but playing it now just makes me sad. The only reason I continue to have this on my phone is because as much as the paid gems and all the new features are upsetting to me (ESPECIALLY THE PAID GEMS) I’m still a sucker for a musically based rhythm game of my favorite artists. Please take into thought the concerns and feelings of your players in the future or start taking action now.
Never thought I’d be giving this game a 1 star but today is the day I guess. I hadn’t played in awhile and decided to get on today only to find that it looks like a completely different game and definitely feels like a different one when you are actually playing. I don’t understand why you had to go and change so much to the point it doesn’t even feel like the same game. I don’t like how all the artists are merged or how when you’re drawing your cards you can get cards for any of the artists, that just makes it that much harder trying to get the ones you actually want for a specific group. The groups merging wouldn’t be so bad if they were kept separate a little better and if it didn’t affect card packs. I personally don’t feel like they needed to be merged. It wasn't hard switching between them at all in the old version. I don’t get why my level was reset or bumped down or whatever. The scores don’t make sense at all to me. I don’t like the gameplay at all anymore especially the little flick thing. I especially don’t like the sound that’s made when your tapping it’s annoying. I also don’t like that chapter stages are for all the groups. I definitely know that I definitely won’t be playing until they either bring back an older version or seriously fix up this new version.
I think that the game is very well made for many reasons. It’s very fun and I like that we’re able to choose our own difficulty settings. I appreciate that the card system is easy to navigate and that the power up/upgrade system is easy as well. I also like how the songs can be arranged by date of release, album, or artist. Further, I like that there are many different ways to play: missions, live stage, mix stages, and the studio. BUT the one reason I took off one star is because of the gameplay itself is too easy. Despite having added a 5x speed and a ‘super hard’ difficulty, there is still one thing that bothers me and that’s when playing a song. When a long note comes along, you would usually have to hold and slide along with the direction that the note is going. However, in this game it seems that you can just hold the note and not slide, which takes away from the challenge of the game. I noticed that many people have already complained about this but nothing has been done about it. I’m not sure whether this was the developer’s choice to leave it that way or just gameplay error. I hope it gets fixed though!
when i initially downloaded this game about a year ago it was fun and playable. i spent so much time on it because it had full songs of many groups that i like; at one point i deleted it because i needed storage. i redownloaded it today to give the app another try and to see if all the recent reviews criticizing it were correct, and i unfortunately have to agree. i feel like the new notes are harder to play with/they aren’t in time with the music despite me changing the speed settings. what happened to calibration?? from what i remember, there used to be so many songs to play, now there’s only a select few. also, it’s important to mention, i wanted to change the volume of hitting the notes in the middle of a game (in turn i took a lot of hit points) just to find out you can’t change volume settings during the game?? i swear we were able to do that before?? ALSO, if you miss a few notes, you lose HP but can’t slowly restore it if you continue to get combos?? how does that make sense?? that doesn’t make people want to keep playing the game, in fact, it just deters them. AND DON’T GET ME STARTED ON THE SLIDE NOTES. if you downloaded this game and are cool with the changes, good for you. but if you are someone who downloaded this game in hopes of something reminiscent/better than the superstar games, don’t bother.
I was excited for this new update they had planned for June 22nd. They changed things to try to keep it interesting but if anything I don’t really want to play anymore. I do not like how they have merged all the groups together for drawing cards, playing the chapters, and so on. I only wanted to play for TXT and the app still took a lot of storage then and now when I go to play a chapter I have to download more for BTS, SVT, and EN-. It’s just too much! I can say that this has ruined my interest in the game. It was better before where the groups were separated and you were guaranteed to get cards for the group you chose. Like once I was playing SVT and I got SVT cards. But now when I try to draw, I can get anyone from any group. TXT only has 5 members which makes it way to difficult for the odds to be in my favor when I want to draw for them. Also I hate the filtering system they have when you try to choose which cards to use to upgrade another card. I can no longer filter out certain members or themes. Honestly, I’m going to stop playing but I’ll check out the next update. If there are no signs of changes for at least these issues I’ll delete this game. I’ll hate to see it go but I’m just not having fun anymore and don’t want to waste storage.
The HP even in studio mode is so stupid. Why cant i play studio mode for fun but now i have to worry about HP so if i miss too much then i cant play it for fun and finish it? And why does it take 2 discs to play now. Rhythm hive is just a greedy app. Almost everything is overpriced in the game. Another thing is, when you used to pause it the game would take you back a couple seconds but now it doesn't so if i pause in the middle I'll most likely miss a tile or 2 and then my HP will go down so I'll most likely lose and waste 2 discs for nothing. Why get rid of that? I ONLY want to play bts songs and get bts cards and stickers and when you keep adding more and more groups it lessens the chances of me getting bts cards. I dont want other groups' stickers songs cards etc. i downloaded it FOR bts NOT to get other groups things. And using different era cards for different songs is also stupid. Why am i using a dynamite jimin card for spring day? This whole game is ruined. I appreciate the hard work of everyone who helped create it for us but it's not good anymore. There's too much going on in the game and it feels like a big cash grab now. Please take all of these reviews into consideration and stop ignoring what the people who actually play this app says.
Played ssbts for well over a year, and it was always very fun to play until the end. I was excited to hear about this new game. Sadly, Rhythm Hive is ridiculously boring. Been playing it since it dropped and the interface is still stupidly difficult to navigate. It's also ugly and unpleasant to look at. The activity list where you assign members tasks to get rewards is overly tedious and could easily be replaced by having some sort of missions tab. There's no longer any anticipation of daily missions, the weekly leaderboard, or a new special event with exciting prizes. Who in their right mind thought that players would want to sit through a four minute song each time they want to play? Songs are too easy now, getting three stars isn't challenging. Upgrading your cards, which should be simple and integral to the gameplay, is confusing, pointless, and overpriced. You can only use one card at a time, so why upgrade the whole set? There's no fun in trying to make a complete theme out of your cards anymore to try and earn a higher score. Feels like nothing but a heartless cash grab. And on top of all that, the zig-zag lines dont even function as they should, you can hold you finger down without moving it and it still counts as if you had followed the line. Bring Superstar BTS back im begging you
I downloaded the update for Rhythm Hive, and everything looked good until I went to the game. When I played a song and choose the note speed, it was also fine. But, the issue is that when the note gets close to the line, it gets faster and messes with the note speed. Why is the new update make the notes come faster when it is just about to hit the line? This was not in the old update, and even if you did add the note speed, it should not move faster towards the end of the line. It messes with the actual note speed by making it faster. In the previous update, it was staying the same speed when it hit the line, so why would they add this when it already works normally? Now, it is not the same note speed when approaching the bar. Now, I can not get a good score for all Marvelous because of the change in speed from the line. Another thing is how the graphics have change. I am fine with everyone but why change the notes? Now it looks like every other game and loses what makes Rhythm Hive special. Lastly, whenever I obtain a card, it does not lock and I end up deleting cards for EXP up that I want to keep but can’t because it is not automatic. Please revert this back to the way it was, the new update for the notes is very confusing.
I’ve been playing this game for about 3 years and the best part about it is gone! I LOVED when you used to be able to play against other players but the last full game update took that feature out of the game so now I can’t play anyone! I also have a recommendation if you ever add that feature back in the game and it is to pick the best player out of wether they played good or not because in the old update I’d be the best player with one or two misses and someone with a fracking XR card would come up and be best player with ten misses and I think that is not fair so if you ever add that feature back I would love it if you could please give my recommendation a fair shot. I also think that this game is really good and I love it just I loved it a lot more when you could play live against other players. Thanks, love the game please think about adding this feature back! Please bring back the old Rhythm Hive! After I updated to this one, all my progress was lost completely! I was very, very, angry, and the game got harder. Also, during the chapter stage, even though I chose the certain group that I wanted to play with, it still gave me songs from other groups. It’s just that I’m not a multi stan, and I want to do the chapter stage, but it’s a little annoying when I don’t know the songs. However, I do like the new design. I’m also happy that you can buy some stickers with gems or coins. I’m just very mad that all my progress was lost, and it is also harder to navigate now. The way the game is played also got harder. For example, when the notes are going towards the line, they are pretty slow, but when they are getting closer to the line, they become fast suddenly. I don’t know how to explain it, but some will know what I mean! I don’t know how this works, but perhaps you can make another app identical to this one but it’s just the old version? It’s very annoying. And like I said before, If I want to play other group’s songs on the chapter stage, I would’ve just switched groups like on the old Rhythm Hive! Please Bring back the old Rhythm Hive and see this developer! Thank you.
Great game but needs improvement on the subscription.
I’ve been playing ever since the game started and of course there were bugs but now everything is fixed and I love this game. One thing that does confuse me and makes me frustrated is the membership. At first I did the 2 week free trial for all of the bands. I did the free trial for BTS a few days before TXT and ENHYPEN. My friend and I did the txt and enhyphen free trial together at the same time but mines ended a day earlier than theirs and I was going to cancel the trial but it had already charged me. Obviously I canceled the subscription for txt and enhypen and asked for a refund on the Apple website. It just passed through. But I selected txt and enhypen, and it said it refunded bts and enhypen, but txt was still getting charged. I just checked on the app and it canceled my enhypen membership which is what I wanted. But I have my BTS and TXT membership still. I checked my bank account and it only charged $5 which is the txt. I’m still confused about why I can’t get my txt subscription canceled and refunded and why it said BTS and Enhypen is refunded even though I choose txt and enhypen. I don’t want to get scammed.
This was a 5 ⭐️ game. It WAS perfect!!! I was obsessed with this game. I play for BTS and BTS only. I spent so much time and money trying to get everything and earn everything for this game. Then you changed it??? Now we have to play everyone and cards are random for all groups. Also all the time and money spent on cheer mode and it doesn’t even exist anymore. This game took a risk in this complete change of initial game and the risk failed imo. I hate saying this because I was literally obsessed playing constantly each day since this game came out. I am broken hearted that you flipped this game upside down and turned it into something so different. We all have our fandom and play for our group. It was nice to hear some other songs but then I was done with them. I just want it to go back before this mega update/recreate. I stopped playing cuz I didn’t feel into this version anymore. So sad cuz I keep it on phone and check hoping one day it’ll go back. It was perfection before. Please consider going back to original. Please! Also everything feels kinda cheesy now too. Pretty basic graphics compared to before. Overall huge disappointment and heartbreak 💜💔
I’ve absolutely no problems with this game EXCEPT for two bugs that don’t go away. The first one is that the game will randomly force quit and kick you out of the game. It’s really random when it happens, whether you’re in the middle of a live game or decorating your diary, it’ll just force quit. Second, there will be two songs playing in the background at the SAME time. The first song will be whatever the game has set as the background music while you’re on the Home Screen, but when you go to studio, chapter stage, or live game whatever song you choose to play it will continue playing in the background even after you’re done with the game. So basically you’ll have the song you just played and the set background song playing at the same time. Even if you just finished playing a bts song and change the group to seventeen or txt the bts song will keep playing even if it’s on another group setting and vice versa. It’s really annoying =_=. So please please if the developers could fix these two bugs asap that’d be great. Other than that this is such a great and entertaining game!
I’ve been playing the game on and off for a while now and when I downloaded it again today I was very confused. Most everything is mixed together and it’s hard to navigate some parts. Artists are mixed up and it gets annoying very quickly, the new gameplay is horrid the tiles make an annoying and distracting noise and I couldn’t even figure out what the new tile is for at first. Not to mention that they sent on time with the music at all. The game got rid of just about everything that made it likable in the fist place and I know I’m not the only one mad about the artists being jumbled up. When I first downloaded it was specifically to play txt and now it’s hard to do just that. The former version wasn’t the best out there and the cheer version was annoyingly difficult to maneuver but it was a lot better in how it worked I can’t really explain it but it was better in every way. This new update seems like it’s trying hard to be a completely different game at times with an entire new look. It isn’t the worst thing but it got rid of a lot of what used to be fun about it in the first place I know I haven’t said anything new or interesting but might as well show how I feel about it since I can ig.
The navigation of the updated version is too difficult, the process of upgrading/leveling cards has become more complicated for whatever reason, you’re forced to play other groups songs for the chapter stages which is annoying, in addition to that you can’t even get the groups you like cards anymore so I don’t know what was even the point of choosing the group to be apart of in the beginning of the game, the updated version didn’t even keep the level I was originally at on the previous version, it’s very frustrating on how the scoring system and the game buttons work now- it’s like it doesn’t matter what card you have cause the score you get is so low which I hate because the whole point of upgrading your cards was to get a higher score…back to the buttons- I absolutely hate the design because it doesn’t stand out so it’s more often that I’m getting misses when on the previous version it was way easier to tell when to hit the buttons so you can get marvelous or excellent, LASTLY the added complexity to this updated version makes it not fun to play AT ALL. ex: you’re required to have different resources just to upgrade a card. so that is why I’ve uninstalled the game!
The game is awesome and is amazing every time they update. I love that they give many opportunities to earn gems and coins and emeralds, but the card trading is very unfair. I exchange 7 cards for 1. Is just not nice or enjoyable. 3 or 4 is acceptable but 7 is outrageous. I wish that could change. Also, the diary skins, binders and papers. There is non for people who don't pay real money in the game. I would like to have some to buy with coins or gems. I earn so many coins yet have not many options to exchange it with. I don’t pay real money for benefits in mobile games and i hope there could be more options without having to pay real cash. Is hard to earn money and is not fair to waste it on mobile games (personal opinion). Recommendation for the creators, unify the gems, free plus paid. And reduce the amount of cards to trade. 3 per category or something. Make realistic goals for the players or we get tired of never archiving the expectations. P.S. add the song “I don’t want to cry” from Seventeen, I really love that song but is not in the game.
i waited seven hours for the new update to drop and i’ve never seen a game go from a genuinely fun thing that i used to love playing daily to one of the absolute worst things i’ve played. as nice as the new UI is, you get cards for all groups rather than just the ones you play for. for people who play all or most of the groups, i’m sure that’s fine, but i’ve been primarily a seventeen player for well over a year and i’ve seen other group stans that were only playing for a single group express the same disdain for this update. i’ve built up my cards for so long, and the point system no longer makes any sense and it feels like all cards are severely weakened. an A rank for all XR cards with perfect gameplay doesn’t make sense in the slightest. if the game doesn’t revert back to the good/fun gameplay (or revert back fully to how it used to be—the UI is pretty enough, but i’d easily let it go for the old style), i’ll probably stop playing completely. i love seventeen and enjoyed playing through their songs, but i’m not going to play a bad game. genuinely, i don’t even think this update was play tested because of how awful it plays. games are supposed to be fun… so what happened?
A few days ago I got a notification saying I had to update the game when I went to go play it. I had finally started playing Rhythm Hive again at the beginning of this month and was making great progress in the chapter stages. When I went to update it, I noticed it looked different in the previews. I thought that they just changed the style and that it wouldn’t effect game play. I WAS WRONG! They completely changed the game! I’m fine with the artist being all together, and I love that you can change the main screen background, but the actual gameplay is impossible. I’m not gonna sit here and say that I’m a pro at rhythm games, but before the update, I could finish a song with mostly marvelous and fantastic hits on hard mode at full speed. Now I can’t even get through a song on hard at half the speed they allow. (It goes up to 9) It’s like it’s not picking up when I tap a note, even though I know I did tap it. And I don’t even want to acknowledge the flick notes. They shouldn’t have became a thing. I really hope that in future updates the game play will improve, but right now, I’m wishing I never upgraded the game period.
I’ve played this game since day one and have played daily, however these recent updates have been making it less enjoyable. First, the updated platform changed where all of the groups have to be logged on at separate times. So you have to go through the loading screen and earn gifts separately with each group, which takes up 2-3x the time than it used to. I also didn’t realize the update and after a year of playing and collecting all of the birthday icons, I missed an Enhypen birthday and a TXT birthday because I didn’t log onto their specific game screen making me not finish the group icon sets. The store used to take diamonds for icons, game play backgrounds and other things for the game, but now it’s split between “free” diamonds and “paid” diamonds. I now have several thousand diamonds I’ve saved for packs I want ,but now all I can get are coins, which I have an abundance of already. This game is progressively getting more disappointing and I will be spending less of my time on it because it’s becoming significantly less enjoyable. At this rate I would not recommend playing.
the game at last doesn’t crash after every song! It’s playable. Despite this, I still leave my review at 3 stars because I don’t think it’s the best game through and through. The gameplay is alright, but I find the fact that you need cards to actually have an impact to be incredibly annoying. Especially since cards are hard to get. You only get rhythm tokens every 3 hours and those are what you can use for free to get a few cards. Mind you that there are tons of cards to collect in this game so if you only get a few cards a few times a day, it’ll take forever to get all the cards. Also I think that card packs that are in the shop are far too expensive compared to any of the SuperStar games. For a pack of 10 standard cards they’re asking 10,000 coins which I think is way too expensive for a pack of cards that most likely won’t give you anything good. Also I still don’t think I’m playing with real people as they claim because I’ve seen the same people over and over which is weird considering there’s so many songs, difficulties, and members to choose to play.
First off, I downloaded the game because I love BTS and miss Superstar BTS. I had high expectations when downloading Rhythm Hive, but they didn’t meet them. Superstar BTS in every aspect was much better. Things I don’t like: 1. The layout is kinda messy and there is just too much going on. 2. I don’t like how the beat shape is rectangular because your finger shape is not rectangular. Circle shape would be the best. 3. I wish there was a handbook/guide because once you finish the tutorial there is no going back and I forget a lot of stuff. 4. The multiplayer thing is kinda annoying because the winner is determined not based on how you did, but which member got the most parts 😒. 5. The mix function is just awful. Like it isn’t even mixing the song, it’s just putting them one after the other. There is so much more awful stuff, I could go on forever Things I like: 1. The loading page, I like how it’s videos because it’s more lively. Please, if you are reading this, please fix the app. The audience will continue to decrease if you don’t meet our expectations. I recommend you look at the other Superstar games and get some ideas from them because they are much similar to Superstar BTS. Thank you
I started playing this game a couple years ago and I LOVED it, I was pretty much addicted at one point, but after version 6.0 came out it’s almost impossible to enjoy playing anymore. Besides the most basic game mechanics, literally everything is different and none of the changes are improvements on the old system. Sometimes i still go back to the app because I miss the gameplay, but every single time I do I immediately get frustrated with the setup, the card system, the scoring, and pretty much everything that isn’t just the gameplay. It genuinely makes me sad that I’ll never get to play the old Rhythm Hive again. I’m not sure how many people are left that played the old version because I know a lot of people just deleted the app after the update, but I want to know why it seems like none of the bad feedback for the update has been received. Everyone I know who played the old version hates the new version, so I don’t understand why that haven’t taken that into consideration and incorporated some aspects of the old version into the current one, or even just returned it to its original state. I just want to play old Rhythm Hive one more time.
i really love this game! i play it all the time and i really like how a faster speed was added. but, a super big obstacle is the missions. sometimes it says to get a score of at least 1,000,000 and i just have all B cards... even getting a perfect score doesn’t nearly get me close to one million. and when i go to upgrade it- it’s sooooo expensive. i’ve spent so much time,diamonds, and money buying card backs, upgrading my cards, and playing mix challenges to get more money, and it still isn’t enough to complete some challenges. i think getting gold should be MUCH easier or the price to upgrading cards should be less. if the cost for upgrading stays the same, i should at least be able to upgrade my card ranks instead of just the level of card. for example i would upgrade my B cards to A cards if i wanted so that i wouldn’t have a limit of how much i could level them up (ofc until it got to XR) overall i really enjoy playing the game and the idea of missions is reallyyyyy good, but please i’m begging don’t make them so impossible 😭

The most frustrating glitch is when occasionally my tap will not be registered, and I don’t think it’s me. But every once in a while notes will be registered as a miss when I’m confident I hit them. It’s annoying when it causes me to fail a stage. It could be my phone I guess but this seems to happen sporadically and there’s nothing I can do about it. Another criticism is about the Super Hard levels. For every other stage/mission, you can practice in the Studio mode before attempting. However, you need to clear the stage of a Super Hard song before you can unlock it in Studio, so the only way to practice is to continually fail and reattempt the stage. It would be nice if it could unlock as soon as you reach that stage instead of when it is cleared. My last criticism is that the prices for things in the shop seem extremely expensive. It’s hard for me to imagine people dropping $70-90 in one fell swoop on some of these card/gem/coin packages.
The entire game changed with the new update, and its not even good. The new layout looks nice but is so confusing for old players. When finally in a game anytime you hit the beat there is a awful metallic sound thats not even on beat or similar rhythm to the music. In the old game each group was separate for every fandom now its one big mess its even harder to draw cards because now there are 3 other groups that I can possibly draw. This game was a super fun experience but with the new update the songs aren’t even on beat and I can’t even really play to my favorite groups songs as everything is so confusing and the tambourine sound is overwhelming. It also de-levels you from you previous rank mine was 35 and now Im at 10. As well as it feels like its just a massive copy of a different rhythm game. I’m only a fan of bts and txt and I hate that if if draw, I am forced to loose even more chances of pulling cards for the groups I like. Even If I do pull cards from the groups I like most of the cards are useless as you can only use ur best cards and the cards just sit in your inventory because there no longer even useful for the songs they go with.
I don’t hate the idea of the new update, but I don’t love it. With this new update it made me want to stop playing because of how some things are set up for example, one thing that I love is that all the groups are mixed together and that we could play music and then we don’t have to keep switching tabs to play another groups music. The things that I hate is that every time we open up a new card packet we get a mix of every group. I just wish that we could have the opportunity to pick the card packet of the group that we want. It makes it harder for people to collect and upgrade their cards especially for those who collect 17 with this new update it will be harder to get card themes, and will be harder to collect the group that we want. And I also hate how are used to be level 67 and now I’m level 16 can somebody explain that to me? I kind a like where idea is going but right now I don’t like how rhythm hive is. After a year of hard work I went from level 67 to 16. I’m so upset and I also do not like the way we had to update the cards.
Ok so I’ve been playing this game for awhile now and it’s honestly been the best game I’ve ever downloaded it’s literally my stress reliever. But tbh ever since this new update has been released it’s just been so terrible like the theme is cute but playing the actual game is confusing and annoying. First I was at a level 50 now I’m down to level 14 to even navigate through the game is confusing. Now let’s get into the actual game itself the tiles don’t even match up with the song itself and it can be very difficult to even complete the level and every time you click the tiles it makes this annoying clicking sound which makes it hard to concentrate I can’t believe I’m this close to deleting the app unless you guys change the tiles back how they were. There’s so much more I can say but I’m so disappointed this isn’t even an upgrade it’s a downgrade if you ask me. Please listen to your loyal fans and change it back to how it used to be we didn’t want a whole new update we wanted you guys to just add more songs and groups to the game to make it more interesting to play now it’s just sloppy and all over the place.
Before the update, this was my favorite game and I really loved it. It was a very colorful and cheerful game that was very easy to get the hang of; but now, with the new update, I feel like its an entirely different game that I literally am starting to hate. It’s so confusing and the new colors are just purple, blue, teal , and pink. The background for when you’re playing is so dark, it literally looks like Project Sekai now. It literally doesn’t look like Rhythm Hive anymore. When I do a card draw it gives me cards from other groups that I will never use. I used to love seeing my book on display whenever I opened the app but now I don’t really see the point in it as I don't know when I’m ever going to open it up again. I hate how when you miss too many hits when your playing, it boots you back to the selection screen and wont even let you finish. This new update is overall so confusing and I absolutely hate it. I genuinely loved this game but I’m so disappointed. Please give us the old gameplay back.
one star off for each *major* problem I had. first off, I personally think upgrading a card is way too much for the amount of cards we have to upgrade and the amount of coins we get each day. the member you play as changes every day, and this is my second problem: your card has to have been upgraded a lot to even get like top three, and it wastes a lot of coins. also, it doesn't tell you which member or song you'll play next, so you could blow all your money on cards you don't need yet. you spend all your coins upgrading one specific card and then you *might* have extra coins to spend upgrading other cards to play with later. also, if you stan all three groups and like switching between them like I do, you're stuck with the same few coins, which is understandable but I'd like if we'd have more coins because we're switching- basically, if we spend all our coins with one but we had more coins in another group earlier, I think we should still have the amount of coins we left off with, if that makes any sense.
I absolutely love the game. I had downloaded it before it's most recent update. Although, before the update you could only play one groups songs but now you can play all of them and new ones that have been added. I love just about everything on the update. The only downside in my opinion is that now when you play, you have a certain amount of hp, and when you miss too many, you have to either use diamonds to continue or restart the whole level. I find this quite agitating as I would like to just play the game and listen to the music instead of getting stopped twice mid gameplay and having to waste diamonds to continue or restart the song. I'm not sure if it's just me or not but I really don't like that factor about the newest update. It would be much appreciated if this was changed or a setting was added so you could like turn it or or something. But above all, I do think this game is amazing and I love playing it.
