In the branch and at the Drive thru you never have enough help and the excess chatting could stop. When I do my banking I want it to be quick, I’m very impatient due to life long health issues I just don’t tolerate ppl very well after years of being picked and prodded. PLEASE just speed things up I desire QUICK friendly service without the extra chat. Have a beautiful and blessed afternoon.
The transaction timing is horrible it seems to delay the amount of payments given out to the vendors or what have you call them. And it just seems that you may a little extra charges even though the clerks over the phone claim you don’t. It’s very frustrating when it seems you have an amount of money that you don’t have and it’s very frustrating when you are trying hard to accumulate money for a time. You all would be better if you could work on that as well as the fees being explained better by the app. Thank you
The app developers have got to be kidding us with this update, right? The credentials I’ve been using since I was 18 aren’t working and I can’t login into this crappy updated app to see any of my information to transfer my money. The fact that I’m seeing this issue has been going on for a full WEEK while in the mean time the old app is unavailable for use and literally provides a nothing but a link to forcibly transfer us to this one when this piece of crap clearly isn’t ready for launch is unacceptable. This is seriously making me consider switching banks because SAFE hasn’t gotten with the times in all these years to learn how to incorporate Apple/Google Pay in their app anyway.
I love this app it’s easy and convenient. But there are two thing I don’t like about it. One, I don’t like since they have updated the app you can no longer view your balance on other accounts that you may have. And two is that you can’t withdraw money out of your other accounts, you can only deposit into those accounts and you can’t see the balance anymore. Other than that it gets the job done.
I have had my account with SAFE Federal Credit Union longer than I’ve had my children and they are in their 40s! I have to say that I would never consider any other banking system as my primary. I have held accounts in banks in the areas I have lived only for the convenience of getting cash but SAFE has always been my primary.
I love SAFE credit union. Staff are always professional & courteous. The “new” updated Bill Pay system is antiquated. You cannot see pending payments in your checking account balance that are processing. More of my accounts have to get a credit union check sent (rather than electronic transfer) which takes up to 10 days. Poor choice!! Bill Pay function needs a serious upgrade.
I find this app to be very beneficial in all aspects of managing accounts as well as paying bills online...makes social distancing during COVID-19 much easier. Thanks Each year account holders were invited to an appreciation meeting that recognized newly elected Board officers and rewarded account holders with gifts of appreciation. Is there anything in the planning to express appreciation to account holders?
The app was doing just fine until the upgrade and now I can’t access my account or anything. This is terrible and then it say it’s not compatible to my phone. It need to be fix or back to the old way.
Ok so I’ve been playing with this app for the past 2 weeks and I’m getting really frustrated. The first day I was able to view all my info and now every time I log in I get a pop up message saying invalid pin and now it’s not letting me view or do anything on the app... I even tried going on my browser and it asking for a passcode. What passcode?? ... been trying for the pass couple of days to get help with this issue without any answer because the phone lines are always busy. Considering changing banks because safe has been slacking for a while now smh
There’s a glitch. It updated to the new app and every time it use the app it asks me to up date again. Navigation gets a minus -1 from me. I also liked that the old app told you where your money went. Had to get a new password again. 🤷🏼♀️😭😭 Same thumb print for over 60 years. But even that won’t let me login
The app runs smoothly, and has been extremely reliable. I would love to be able to transfer money via Zelle, but I know the decision to use Zelle is a credit union thing and not a mobile app limitation.
The app seems to work well enough but doesn’t have an option for transferring funds from an external account. For that you have to go to the website where this feature hasn’t worked for the past 2 weeks. I opened the account a month ago, but if there is no way to transfer funds in the account does me no good.
So tired of getting kicked out and having to enter all my login information again. This app is horrible and doesn’t have any updated features like other banks.
I’ve spent many hours trying to figure out how to enable Touch ID for this app. There’s an option to turn TouchID on in the app settings, but it doesn’t work. Instead it refers you to your device settings. Touch ID can’t be enabled on device settings until it’s turned on in the app. So...there’s a “Catch 22” situation. I Googled this, looked at other SAFE sites, etc. No answer there either. Why is it so darn difficult to turn Touch ID on for this app???
I am very frustrated with this app now. It was very difficult to set up and it continues to be difficult to use. What was wrong with the old way? I used to be able to get in quickly and check was I needed to. Now it requires so many steps it’s ridiculous. I am also linked to family members so I can transfer money easily and that seems to have disappeared. Whoever’s decision this was made a big mistake.
I’m unsatisfied with the fact that other banks will allow you to view your incoming pending deposits into your accounts but this bank will not. If people cannot access their electronic check stubs they at least need to be able to view their incoming deposits into their accounts the day before pay day. :-(
Not sure why this app has such bad reviews. Although a little clunky it works as it should. Checking your account and making transfers is easy, what more do you need in a bank app.
I find the set up to be quite difficult. In order to agree to E-sign you have to read the e-sign agreement. Once I do that, there is no way to go back to the registration form. Then I have to start from the beginning. I’ve done this three times within the last 15 minutes. I’m not having a good time lol.
I set up the app as instructed. It worked fine the first time I logged in but now I can’t see any of my accounts. What the heck is going on with this app?
I live outside the US and in order to complete verification the only option given is to receive a phone call which of course did not come through on my non-US number. Now I can’t complete registration nor can I access my account because the old app has been annulled. Complete waste of time and can’t even finish setup.
The set up for the app to log in have to go on a browser ok fine. But once trying to log into the mobile app need to receive a text message or call. But when they call there’s nothing or the static is so bad can’t hear what they’re saying to verify my account
I have not had access to my account for 3 days. You sent me a new debit card but no pin. So I can’t use tele bank options. It’s not our fault y’all didn’t prepare for everyone going to mobile and internet. What are we suppose to do for now just wait???????
I know change is a learning curve but this new site is so aggravating to access and navigate. Spending much more time doing basic functions than it use to take.
I signed in and set up new password and cannot get back in. Half of my accounts disappeared anyway and the whole thing has been nothing but frustrating. It is not user friendly at all!!
“Updated” version is trash. You literally have to be taken to the app & “update” the app each time you need to log into the app. It’s a major inconvenience & extremely aggravating to say that least.
For all the money this Bank makes and to have this crap App.......... if SAFE Federal has the money to build a new facility at least take care of your customers first and make this simple. I bet all the folks giving 5 stars has to be employees. 🤔
i was forced to up date to new app, three days and still cant get the app to show my accounts and all phone linrs have been busy for the past two days!! Safe does not support apple or googlepay, very upsetting.
Eh, i like the set up of this app but i’ve been having problems with it every since. I can’t see none of my accounts, i can’t transfer money or anything. I hope they fix this!
The bank needs to update everything ... I’ve been trying to deposit money to pay a loan for 2 wks and features still don’t work. I hate banking with this bank.
So pretty much it just feels like safe “had to update” so they did, and they did it poorly. Learn from other financial institutions and don’t release something until it’s 100% user friendly.
