This is a great app. The navigation of app through the different functionalities is very easy and intuitive. I can log in and send money in a less than minutes to another friend. I use this app to manage my Scarlet account on day to day basis. I highly recommend to get Scarlet from Walgreens and use this app.
I’ve been using my Scarlet account for about two years now. I love being able to take a quick trip to my local Walgreens and deposit money free. I have two issues. 1: That is that it does take about 10 minutes to go into my account but that is not the worst thing in the world. 2: it is not accepted on every online payment platform. Other than those two problems I genuinely enjoy using Scarlet. Customer service is pretty good. As long as I can understand them and they understand me. Thank you for having this option for people needing a bank account, but aren’t able to open one at some local banks.
Opened my account and had two different direct deposits going into this card. One was my money from Poshmark as I sell clothes on the side and the other was money that I make from Instacart. Neither one of these are businesses that I own but I work for them. About a week after having the card I received an email that my account was locked due to breaking section 2 of the deposit agreement. When I went back and read the agreement it stated that they would close your account if it was used for business purposes. I didn’t know that getting deposited money from places that I WORK AT is considered a business. This card is a total scam they took almost 9 dollars from me for my monthly fee and now I have to wait for who knows how long to get my money back. Avoid this at all costs
The app itself is fine, however the “bank” is another story. Customer service is an absolute joke and they still have 400 dollars of mine after abruptly closing my account for linking it to pay my google fiber bill. SORRY I TRIED TO USE MY OWN MONEY TO PAY A BILL, SCARLET. After about 4-5 hours of being transferred and hung up on, they said they would send me a check. 4 days pass and I call them to see when it would be here and they informed me they didn’t mail it out. What a joke. Having this card closed suddenly messed up a lot of things I had planned, like my internet bill and keeping my phone on and a rental car. Because of this, I was stranded at a bus station in Boston doe 17 hours. Thanks a lot, scarlet.
I use this account as a primary normally don’t have any issues, customer supports been great. Sometimes the app has issues and you have to wait a minute to log on and I’m not a fan of how long it takes for money to load on the account. Normally after adding cash I see it in my account within 30 minutes. I will say though some stores will not accept the scarlet card but it doesn’t happen often. I’m in between a 3-4 star rating.
I recently purchased the Scarlet card and downloaded the app. The has made it super easy to check my balance, see transactions and savings. The best part are the notifications and alerts. It has helped my stay on track. I have really enjoyed this product and app.
Bought this at Walgreens paid the 1.95 fee then charged me the monthly fee 3 days later?? you can’t blame them it isn’t a real bank if you want a real debit card just get one from your nearest and trusted bank I’m a minor so I don’t have a lot of opinions I guess this is a good starting debt card I don’t recommend putting more then 100 though 100% this “bank” would take control over your account if you add $200+ since reading the reviews
I have a Walgreens near me and stop in often. It is great to use my card there and get cash back but also earn when I use my card for purchases at other retailers!!!
I frequently shop at Walgreens so I love the Cash Back I earn on this card. I can also take cash and do a barcode reload at any Walgreens to load the cash straight onto the card.
I love the cash back feature with my purchases at Walgreens (I’m guilty of grabbing snacks pretty often)! The app keeps me in the know of my account, spending and even allows me to pay bills.
I go to Walgreens often. It’s so nice to be able to have my Walgreens points on the app as well as being able to track my finances! It is so convenient and easy to use.
I was able to quickly activate my card and create an account! Excited to manage my money using this account and it has great benefits as a Walgreens shopper.
Best bank account that I’ve had in years, and less fees than traditional banks! Plus the app is easy to use and I can add cash for free at any Walgreens (which they have on every corner).

I’m a fan of non traditional bank accounts in general but combining with my favorite neighborhood store and adding cashback - this is a win for me. Highly recommend it.

The only way to add cash to your account without fees is by using a barcode provided in the app. This would be fine except the barcode will not load. The main reason I joined this bank was because of the free deposits at Walgreens locations and I cannot do this, hopefully this issue can get resolved.
This is a horrible card/ account…. If you need a bank account there are so many better options out there to look into. Checkout Chime, Varo, dave…. If used at a hotel or car rental the company holds an additional 20% on their own and not the establishment that you are purchasing the seevice from but scarlet card…. crazy!
Deposited cash at Walgreens location days ago. Funds aren’t available on card or show record of deposit. Call customer service multiple times to be told it’s processing. Guaranteed money to be on card in certain time frames and never happens! They’re a scam
CAN NOT CLOSE MY ACCOUNT EVERY THING IS AT ZERO AND I HAVE NO SUBACCOUNTS OR GOALS
This app or online gives me NO WAY TO CLOSE THIS ACCOUNT Everything is at zero and no subaccounts were even created and no goal cause I created none and balance is zero I had to ask you help search bar and it said I need to click a gear icon which this is not even there, no gear, nothing in settings or my account menu that says close account I need this closed I deleted the app because isn't any different than when online It's set up like American Express serve style layout EXCEPT THIS SCARLET SITE HAS NO CLOSE ACCOUNT !!!!!
It’s horrible card its not a prepaid card they don’t allow you to take money off you only can use card for in store purchases no cash back also they are false advertising the representatives are really rude and don’t listen this is worst company ever
Customer service is literally pointless There’s hidden fee and taxes they don’t tell you! Don’t loose your card there’s absolutely no temporary anything issued . Better off keeping your money in a shoebox. This is literally thievery at its best. And the name of the company is Horrible reminds me of having Scarlett fever .
Stay far away from this bank. It’s another one of those where customer service is in a third world country and all they want to do is find ways to steal your money. They got something coming to then though. You’re welcome.
I put all my info and created a username and when the app asked me to sign in officially I tried to and it said it was an invalid password. No email confirming I’m a member of this bank/company. Nothing! UPDATE: I tried registering again on the Scarlet website and was successful. Downloaded the app and was able to login. No issues and would recommend!
I can’t use my card to buy bitcoin like I did yesterday, and I paid to put money on the cars and now they want to say wait to get your card to do this, wrong close my account

Put $500 on this card in store assuming I would be able to to use it as a TEMPORARY DEBIT CARD(it is literally being marketed as so) because I misplaced my actual debit card and couldn’t wait 2 weeks for a replacement from my bank. I understood from the beginning that I would not be able to access this money until I created an account on the app. I tried doing so and it said I am not approved for the bank account. Never sent me a confirmation email, text, nothing. Wouldn’t even let me get that far. I 100% meet all of the qualifications. I am 24 years old, a LOYAL member of the myWalgreens rewards program, have a valid email address AND a great credit score (even though website says they do not do a credit check). So how is it possible that I am not getting approved to use my OWN money??? This is not a credit card. Was hung up on by customer service 4 separate times today after getting no answers and asking to speak to a manager. The only thing they kept saying was that I am only able to use MY MONEY THAT I DEPOSITED in store or online. But couldn’t tell me why. However, since I can’t make an account because I’m “not getting approved” I can’t even use it for those things because I can’t set up a PIN number for in store purchases or enter my postal code which is needed for most online purchases. Nor would I need ANYTHING worth $500 at Walgreens anyway. I think this card is a scam in order to get people to sign up for Walgreens rewards. Not only that, it also forces you to HAVE to spend your money at their store. Then I thought hmmm maybe I could just purchase a $500 visa gift card from Walgreens in order to get my money back. Nope. Select cash back at the register you say? Nope, can’t do that either. How about purchase $500 worth of stuff in store then return it for cash? Nope, refund goes back on card. Plus, like I said I can’t even use this card in store anyway since I’m unable to create a pin. I’ve seen other negative reviews online from people who had this same problem. Most people only deposited $10-$50 so they most likely just dropped it and considered it a loss. However this is $500 of my hard earned money being held against my will. So I will not be chalking this up as a loss, I want my money back. I did my research and read all of the fine print. Will be contacting Maria Smith, VP of payments and financial services for Walgreens, as well as my local news station to get exposure on this issue and to make sure no one else gets ROBBED like I did. Ignore all of the positive reviews here. They are fake and were most likely written by Maria herself!
