The app provides the basic information one would expect. It would be nice to have a way where one could add comments that appear when a transaction is opened. I could do this with the previous credit union app prior to them being bought by SHFCU. Anything to make a banking transaction easier to understand will be advantageous for the user.
doesn’t work a lot but that new update is really cool, doesn’t have the main stuff most banks have like notifications or adding to apple pay but it works half the time
I wish I could say something good about it but since the merger with my credit union the app is not helpful at all and I can’t access any information about previous transactions or really do anything that I’ve tried to do couldn’t deposit a check and every message you ask tells you the same thing contact customer service and dial 0 . What good is a app if you can’t do anything with it?
Let’s be honest, the old app was pretty clunky. So I was excited to see a new ‘redesigned’ app when it was released. However, it’s basically just a web browser that goes directly to the credit union’s site. I can already to that with my browsers. What’s worse is you can’t go back & forth between apps without this one resetting. Extremely frustrating when trying to pay bills & looking at texts/emails for amounts due. Please write an actual app instead of glorified HTML links.
A great mobile banking interface. It looks like my Home Banking experience, and gives me a lot more functionality than the previous app had. I continue to be pleased banking with this great credit union and community advocate.
App has never worked for me and neither does their website on iPhone
Closing my account with Self Help because I cannot log into my account on their website from my iPhone but can do so just fine on a galaxy and a laptop. The app has not worked once and I mean literally every time I try to open it I get the message “This application is currently unavailable. Please try again later.” Not to mention their customer service phone lines are never open when you actually need them. It’s ridiculous.
This app is not ready for launch. I’ll cover the good first. Finally supporting Touch ID. About darn time. Now please support Apple Pay and your be almost up to par with all other banking institutions. Now the app. It is glitchy, unresponsive, and crashes constantly. The user interface looks looks like a rewind to ten years ago. The old app was more appealing and user intuitive. That is all, thank you.
I havnt been able to check my account in weeks since the app changed somewhere in October (it’s now dec) and the terms changed and all. I can’t even go in person because there’s only one ATM and branch in San Francisco and it’s been under construction specifically in the ATM area...
This app does not notify me when a charge is placed or tell me my daily balance or even email me. Please fix this. All my settings are set to do so. Also it has a problem connecting sometimes to check my balance. Please upgrade and fix this app. It has been over 4 months since this app was last updated.
I cannot sign in to the new app. It texts a code to verify my identity but once I enter code, there is no “enter” button to click so it times out. Frustrating.
Can’t sign in and it doesn’t recognize my account?
I have problems with this app and it was cool at first but now I can’t sign in or request a password change or request my username??? It say to contact them without providing a number to call as well which is stupid. My bank doesn’t know what to tell me so like I said what number do I call ?
Downloaded the app, I logged in, looked at it for a few seconds, I didn’t click on anything, and then I logged out. After I logged out I noticed a Quick View at the bottom of the app, when I clicked on it, showed my transactions and my balance without asking for my username and password. The Quick View needs to be enabled in settings, which I didn’t, it showed up automatically. Be careful with this app.
