Good game but the quest system is kinda too money grabbing

Okay before you say anything I understand that game company needs to make profit BUT hear me out, one of the daily quest is “watch 7 Ad”, I personally don’t have a problem with a Ad reward system, but putting it as a daily quest is kinda over the line, I know some games has watching an Ad for reward as part of the daily quest( But they usually don’t have quest that’s like “ complete all daily quest x many times” )also it’s usually just one Ad, but 7 ads is just way too much. Watching ads should be like an opinion, and player shouldn’t be almost forced to do it. But other than this the game play is really not bad, really hope they can do some changes about the quest though.

Rewards are lacking

For all of the quests and perks, the daily quest/event rewards should increase as you level up. Giving the player only 25 gems for destroying a certain number of enemies doesn’t cut it. Also, get rid of the random feature when fusing items and allow the player to select which one they want. Stop requiring the items to be level 20 to fuse them. It’s a complete waste of Ultimate Crystals when you’re trying to avoid purchasing gems for chests. Ultimate Enhancement Crystals should not require multiple per level. 1 per level should suffice. Souls should be an option of purchase. Fix the purchasing bugs, the ad glitches, and the Arena glitches. I’m tired of getting to the Elite level just to randomly, in a flash, drop back down to Diamond III because the day restarts. Add a feature to merge accounts or bind an existing account. I love this game, but there are way too many bugs/glitches and the rewards are so pricey in order to rapidly strengthen characters.

Pretty addictive

I love the graphics, the gameplay. It feels Relatively new so there are going to be things they can do with this game along the way that are going to make it even more amazing, I wouldn’t be surprised if they turned it into a console game. The only reason I gave it four stars and I tend to crash a lot and have to restart, outside of that it’s super addictive, I find myself neglecting my other games now LOL. If you haven’t tried it, give it a try! Edit: playing a dungeon or any other match and having it it go back to the main screen is draining especially since servers are VERY slow, if I play a dungeon keep me In the dungeon screen so I don't have to to load the screen back but in. When I play chapter 2 after I finish one match it automatically take me back to the main screen that needs to change.

Very good game except for 2 things

I love this game a lot I’ve been playing it and enjoying it a lot my only real issues are the lack of characters and the fact that characters cost real money. Don’t get me wrong I understand why they cost money but it feels like there should be a very hard, but free way to unlock them. I feel like it limits gameplay especially for people who don’t have the money to spend on mobile games. And nothing hurts more then waiting for a free large chest and getting an item exclusively for someone you have to pay for. I know it’s probably not going to be removed but I know developers want all the feedback they can. Sorry if this is wordy I’m terrible with punctuation and paragraphs

This review is to communicate with the developers

I really like the game and I’ve spent hours playing it but there is something I’ve found rather bothersome. I am only able to play with the original two characters and therefore Im only using the same 2 abilities every time. I would really love and appreciate if you guys, as developers, make it possible for us to be able to unlock the characters as the story progresses, or as we level up as a player. It would also be nice if while we are playing, there is dialogue in the campaign and hero campaigns, and not just pure fights with a boss at the end. I would like a story and explanation as to what im doing and why yk. Anyways thank you for this nice game. I hope you see my review, and consider my words. Classic pay2play

The characters Lack a real story for the “story” mode. There isn’t an option to change the storyless characters name, which would make more sense. Levels are really short. If you enjoy the hacking and slashing, you’ll get very brief doses. This is a classic pay2play grinding mobile game. Think of it as a demo. You can enjoy the free mode, and there are many great qualities to mention, but the stages are so short and leveling up happens really quick so you hit the pay wall fast. Maybe they’ll fix it in a future update, but right now you can only custom place your action buttons. The joystick has a default fixed spot, which might be too far left for some. There are many in-app purchases, but you can play for free and watch ads for rewards. Though, it gets annoying after a while when you get pop up notifications on rewards that you have to pay to claim.

Surprisingly fun

First off, this game is visually pleasing to look at, one of the prettier games on mobile I’ve ever played. Leveling up is fun and rewarding. You earn plenty of the paid currency by just playing the game which I give props for. However, locking heroes behind a paywall with no foreseeable alternative is a little frustrating. One last problem I have, (which is surprisingly few for a mobile game I saw through an ad) is the stun lock mechanics for enemies, especially in hoards. Adding invincibility frames against stun locks for a few seconds after being stunned would be a good move if not nerfing enemy stun attacks entirely. Other than that, the game is fun, combat engaging, gameplay rewarding and characters fun to build and buff. Definitely a game to throw a few dollars at to show support

Different loot

I love this game and everything about it, I also know that the devs worked hard on it and they even respond to all the reviews which means they care. My only complaint about this game is that you can get loot for characters you don’t own. I know it’s probably marketing to get you to buy that character but still it’s very very annoying and I’m sure some fellow players would agree with me so in your next update it would be great if you could make it so that when you get loot it’s only for characters that you own. Thank you if you read this review and consider what I’ve said.

Hello developers, please read this review because it’s important

So hi, I love this game and it’s awesome, the only thing is that the game is so glitchy some of the times, and when I use an item or purchase some items for more stronger items it sometimes says it’s “loading” and then it just stays like that forever and sometimes have to leave the game but when I do I don’t get my rewards, and I got upset because I got very good equipment and then the loading thing appeared and it wouldn’t load, and I left the game and opened it again, and when I looked at my inventory I didn’t have it. So please developers, fix this bug because it’s making the gaming experience worse than I thought and I don’t like it at all. Please developers, fix this for the sake of the game.

It’s an awesome game but...

This game is really fun and has good graphics and features but the only thing that I’m giving it four starts for is because you can only use two characters for free. The other four you have to pay for and it shouldn’t be like that. I think there should be some special levels that you could play to unlock these characters instead of having to pay for them. Supposedly there new characters that will be released but who knows for sure. Hopefully if there are new characters released they will be free to get and not with money. If more of the characters don’t need to be bought with real money then I will happily give this game a fifth star.

I absolutely love this game- 1 thing tho

Absolutely love how they adopted the fighting style of many character types- and it really gives the DMC feel to it with not just surviving your enemies but absolutely owning them. I would really appreciate it even more if they gave the option to switch between the bonus attack perks. And give a chance at winning characters in events. Thank you for this game. The match making is broken- paring you up with some who is several tiers above you, is suicide, how on earth is someone supposed to win arena.

Great game,BUT

I love tithe game and think it’s super underrated considering how freaking fun it is. I have grinder this game for a long time, but recently my account has I think been soft locked due to me not playing arenas that much, so when I did I for some reason was placed with noobs or bots.(I am level 40+ with most characters) Since the new change with the login to play arenas my account which (I guess I was using a guest account). Has soft locked me from playing any arenas! Please please change the feature or devs give me your support so I can fix this issue. If you’re smart and login you will have a great time though.

Binding?

So far I’m loving this game and I can’t wait for more characters to come out. I don’t get mad over cash shops since it’s FP2. The only thing I’m upset over is this weird “Binding” to Facebook or Apple. Why does it reset everything? When I tried to Bind to Apple the next thing I knew is my characters were gone till I re logged back into “Guest” login. Why does this “Binding” completely remake a new account rather than merging it? It seems kind of shady and now if something were to happen I’d lose all my progress and purchases. Also means I can’t play on other devices. The reason it’s getting a 4*

Very good game would change two things

This overall is a very good game, good mechanics, art style, and plenty of different combos and moves to do. There is also plenty of free ways to get equipment. But I wish the game could be played offline. There aren’t many adds anyways and I don’t think that WiFi is necessary to play the game. I also wish there were ways to get more hero’s, a hard way but free. And about the offline thing most of the time I’ll be playing it at home where there is WiFi so regardless I’ll still be watching ads, because of all the things you can get from watching them. Overall very good would recommend.

Game Deleted Everything

As far as the game goes, it is awesome. Definitely kept me entertained and tons of awesome mods to upgrade your characters. Having said that, the game completely deleted itself and started me back over from square one. Everything I had purchased, the hours I put in grinding, all the coin spent on fusing elements and upgrading weapons and gear….. all gone. I’m not going through that again so I’ll be deleting the app. Hopefully it doesn’t happen to you but just know there is a chance it could.

Ok, this is ridiculous. I remember I give a three stars review to this game, and also provide a lot of details about the issue I find in this game, and some personal opinion about this game. Didn’t use any extreme language, but now I look at it. My review and comment just gone!!!! I am not pointing any finger, but I feel is my comment get deleted because I said Facebook requires too much personal information, and I ask them do they have any different way to contact, like Twitter. I just google it, it seems like it is apple’s problem

To the developers

I love everything about this game and it’s constant updates improving the gameplay is amazing you guys are very unique. The only thing I ask is that you make every single one the cool skins for the characters available somehow either buying them or do more events and specials to where you can pick the skin you want. Honestly put a price tag on all of them I don’t mind paying for what I want. Keep up the good work. Also keep up the demons parade it’s such a creative quest and it’s fun.

Very good but have a question!

This game is really fun and addicting, but I’m not sure if I buy to buy the Valentine Skin Pack. You see, in the shop you’re able to buy skin packs for $10 but It separates 2 characters to buy the valentine pack. I think this is for other packs too but my question is, if I buy a skin pack from a hero (for example Celeste) will it also give me the skin for the other hero as well included in the Valentine skin too? That’s my only question, overall, GREAT game and glad it popped up as an ad.

Good but laggy

The game is visually pleasing and I love all the rewards and sometimes able to watch ads to be able to get more, and grinding for money and crystals is pleasing as it takes time to get everything. Unfortunately, I believe the game gives me many bugs as sometimes it makes me have to restart the game and recently when I try doing the dungeons and use the resources it takes them but doesn’t put me into it and that makes me sad. Overall though, amazing game and I look forward to playing even more.

You guys this game is great this is just going to be a suggestion I know I’m pretty small nobody’s gonna pay attention to me but maybe if you guys see this you might but I think maybe you should be able to merge your heroes and create new ones not like an RPG game like maybe like merging them you probably can’t like have a board of them and then just like put them in an order and merge them just have a special ability to merge them into one

LOST ALL PROGRESS

Game is fun but I got completely turned off from the whole when I logged in and all my progress is gone. I had to start the tutorial level and when I enter my name it stares that name is taken. So I can see that my account isn’t deleted but there’s no clear way to log back into. I should note I did make a guest account because I don’t use Facebook and when I tried to set up an account using apple it would not allow. So if there’s a way to get access to my account I would appreciate. I have made a decent amount of progress and it’s a huge bummer. I gave it a 2 because no matter how good a game is, it immediately loses any steam once it decides to erase everything you did.

OUTSTANDING GAME!!! but could use some things…

im gonna keep this short. the game is probably one of if not my new favorite mobile game. the art style is very pleasing to look at and i love the gameplay. one thing i would change is making the other characters free, but you have to do challenges to unlock them. like beat all boss fights with 3 starts or something. i also feel like customizing the button layout would be cool as well. great game these devs have made

Very Big Problem

Aside from 2/3 of the characters being locked with a paywall, the game actually has a much bigger and more critical problem. Whenever I play and exit the app and open it up again, all my progress gets reset to before I played. This has continuously kept happening and I don’t know what is causing it. If it ever gets solved I’ll change my review. Edit: In addition to having my progress switch between save points, I also have lost some items including the legend crate. If any of the game devs are reading this and know what’s wrong please let me know. I really think that this game isn’t bad but this issue is just ruining the game for me.

Disappointed

I was really into the game. I played the game with my 11 year old son. I had made quite a few purchases to make it really fun. I picked up Lucious and Hector, along with several costumes. Well, apparently there was some sort of update and all of our progress and purchases are gone. This is complete and utter garbage. I’m going to contact Apple to see if I can be refunded my purchases and will never download a game from this developer.

Amazing and Wonderful game!

This game is so amazing! The graphics are also so good! I shared this game with my friends and they want to play it. The boss fights are so cool! The fighting is immaculate. The characters look so cool and the skills fit them so well. The most satisfying things is there are no ads!!! I look forward to new updates! I hope you add more characters and more chapters! Lost of Data

Honestly, I’m really disappointed, the game is really good but one day, I was playing it and then it just started to reconnect and then Boom, all my data is gone.I am really angry about this because it was working perfectly normal, then it just restarted me, all the way to level 1. It’s kind of upsetting and then when I try to retrieve my data, it states that I’m not in the system, and it has always shown that I was logged in and connected. Honestly, I’m just really disappointed and very generous to give it a 3 star.

5 stars when...

Great game but the lack of an offline mode and the constant reconnecting makes it really difficult to enjoy. I get that it’s a free game but charging for additional characters instead of being able to unlock them through gameplay takes away from the overall game. I hope that there’ll be updates were this is considered. Great games rewards their players not make them pay for everything. Thanks.

Still glitchy but beautiful and fun to play

The stylization of this game is so cool and fun but also the controls are easy to grasp but aren’t so difficult to master. So you can excel with skill but also do ok if you just button mash. A nice in between. In my gameplay I do experience quite a bit of glitching in notices, actions in the game, login in and loosing connection with the server. It’s a testament to how high quality the game play is that I am sticking with it even with issues :)

GREAT but..

Shadow Knight is probably my favorite game. Shadow Knight is very nice and has cool characters. The devs should add a update to the characters instead of actually buying them with real MONEY. Like for example to buy Lucius (One of the Characters) you need 5,000 Gold. I really think that would be great so I can get New characters quickly and explore the game more with the new heroes.

Wonderful Game with Horrible Paywall

I really enjoy the smooth and satisfying gameplay and RPG mechanics that few mobile games do well. However, half of the loot I unlock I am unable to use because it’s for characters that you have pay for individually. It’s a pain to unlock an ultimate item and not be able to use it. I would love a way to unlock the other characters via in-game currency even if it was a really hefty cost or some other free-to-play way to obtain those characters.

Needs work.

The gameplay itself is good, but things can be a bit off. For example, when I enchant an item, it still shows the item and I’d think I didn’t enchant the item; apparently I did because when I try to do it again, the item just disappears. Not only that, but when I try to complete an quest, it doesn’t show that I did it. Although, it tells me to claim it, it never tells me which I completed and it stays to be unclaimed as I get my reward.

Too many bugs

Don’t bother, I’ve had this game for quite a few months and as far as I can tell the devs have taken 0 initiative to fix any bugs, it takes like 30 seconds for the game to register that you press any buttons and then about 3 minutes into the game you’ll go do do literally anything and the game will disconnect and ask if you want to reconnect, but it’s about 1 in a million that it will reconnect. The devs honestly seem like they just wanted a quick cash grab that they didn’t have to pay attention to or maintain in anyway, until these problems are fixed I highly recommend you play anything else.

Every things gone

I was having a game breaking but in which I could not level anyone of my characters abilities making it hard to continue the game on higher difficulty’s. So I try some ways to troubleshoot the issue and try uninstall and reinstall the game now, all my progress is gone and all my purchased items are gone too. The game is fun but if there is a way to ether get my previous play state back or refund my purchases that would be fantastic. (Am willing to show proof of purchases)

Add a controller option

First off I think the game is awesome. It’s a very good game and I like everything about it except there is no controller option. I use the backbone controller to play pretty much all my games that r on my phone except this one. I love the backbone and it’s my go to for any iOS game I want to play. I would definitely give your game 5 stars if u had this option available

Fun game but, No restore purchases?

I bought this game a few weeks ago, seemed fun at the time but when I tried to buy hero lucias it took literally like 2 weeks to go through. And then when I tried to download the game again I logged in through face book and no lucias. I looked around but I couldn’t find the restore purchases button so if someone could help that’d be nice (not trying to sound like a Karen or anything)

Connectivity

This is the only game in my phone that I’ve had connectivity issues with. I can open a chest without it trying to reconnect and I’m connected to Wi-Fi. I play call of duty regularly so this game should work but I get bored and end up having to do the same level again with extended wait times because it’s steadily trying to reconnect. If I could get the small amount of money I actually paid in this game then I would. It’s honestly exhausting. Please fix this

Game is great just need the characters to feel more real

Sometimes the control of the characters feels kinda clunky and the animation looks like it could be a little more fluider but other than that this game is a master piece and I hope you add on more ultimate skills or customizable skills, or even job class evolution where all skills and attacks change all together

Characters

The game is fun until you realize you cant play other characters unless you pay five dollars (for each new character). In my opinion its annoying that I only have two available characters and no way to earn the other ones other than paying. Hope we can play other characters soon.

Fun when it works

I love the combat system and the ability progression in this game. It’s really fun to play. My only issue is that the game loses connection all the time. I have a very high speed internet connection and I only play when I’m on Wi-Fi, so I’m surprised that the connection issues are so frequent. I don’t have that problem with any other game. It’s a big preventive factor in me wanting to play the game more often.

Server crashing

Both servers are crashing. Just downloaded the game and played all of 30 seconds before it crashed and I can’t get back on. Won’t poorly review it as it was fun for that time and I’m excited to see what else there is. But, the servers are keeping me from doing that. 4/5 as of now.

Game is very terrible

This game legit Is something I can’t even fathom I can’t believe I spent 35 bucks on this trash game I contacted customer support all they did was make my problem worse which I can’t even play the game at all I tried everything all they told me was wait all that waiting did was lose the events I worked hard for when I was able to play now it’s gone don’t waste your time they don’t care about their community it’s a bad game with many issues waste of time don’t get it

Account binding

After I logged in for the first time in a while I was trying to play arena and it told me to bind my account to continue, so I bound it whatever its not the first game thats done that. But when it reloaded the game i had lost all of my progress i was max lvl had max lvl characters and all ultimate gear. I don't think ill be playing again unless its fixed and i get my things back, its a fun game and a good time passer for when you are bored though.

Some stuff I cant access or press for some reason.

I like the game all in all but the fact that It doesnt let me open weapon chests is just so frustrating. Whether free, with enough keys, or with enough gems it really doesnt let me. Although it lets me open equipment chests and rune chests just not weapon chests for some random buggy reason i dont know. I’ll be quitting this game until it gets fixed.

Poor servers

Good game, it’s fun, but the inherent server issues are glaring and makes the game unplayable. Constant reconnection issues as well as unresponsive inputs, like having to equip a weapon 10 times before it finally equips or claiming an award 20 times before it is rewarded to you. Sometimes the rewards don’t even show up until you close the app and reload it again. Very poor optimization on what seems to be a fairly simple side scroller. Very disappointing.

Good but needs more features

It gets boring pretty fast and needs some more multiplayer stuff. Like maybe something where there are team fights against enemies or guilds. The game would also benefit from more characters, especially a few that you don’t need to spend money on.

Good but…

This game is great and the effects are cool but I have 1 suggestion and 2 problems my suggestion is that there should be an offline mode for just fun but you can’t get anything but my problems are 1 you can only play until energy finishes and you have to pay for hero's

Don’t bother if you live in America.

The game has a really horrible connection. When you take 3-4 minutes to complete a dungeon and at the end it says re-connect only to have to start over and over multiple times is ridiculous. I contacted the developers they said people from other countries will have this problem cause the game only has one server and it’s location is in Vietnam. It’s a shame cause the game is fun. I plan to contact apple and request a full refund. It’s not my fault the game connection is the problem and not my own internet. What’s sad is that I’m level 70 and have a lot of endgame gear. Note to the developers: YOU SHOULD LET IT BE KNOWN IN THE DESCRIPTION OF THE GAME THAT SOME PLAYERS WILL EXPERIENCE THIS ISSUE. It would save players like me a lot of time and money by just avoiding the game all together. ZERO OUT OF FIVE STARS!!!

Make the game enjoyable and you’ll earn more. Making it to where we HAVE to pay for characters lessens your profit because most see that and uninstall. Remove the notification on certain things when it’s just an ad.
