Great Service - App needs Touch ID

This app manages money transfers. I use a strong password and it is very inconvenient to enter a long password when we could use our fingerprint to log in. If that feature is implemented, I can update my rating to 5 stars.

Originally thought it was a scam

Originally rated a one star but changed to 4 star. I sent 300 usd to family in Mexico in urgent need. I only used this site over established players since they were the only ones who listed the remote agent in the remote town I was looking for. My family member told me the local agent could not find the money using the folio number after being notified by Sharemoney that the money was sent. I thought it was a scam so I started a ticket using the robot assistant in the app, eventually a human service member contacted me in the same chat saying they would reach out soon. But they didn’t. The next day, I decided to personally call the agent in Mexico to check if the transfer arrived before going to my bank to dispute the charge. The local agent in Mexico told me the money was now available. I still canceled the transfer by calling the Omnex group 866 phone number since my family no longer needed the money. The transfer was canceled upon request and I received a refund in my bank account after 3 days. I strongly recommend a ‘cancel transfer’ option in the app/website and an option to accurately track a transfer status instead of a wishful “ready”. I only recommend this app/site over moneygram or Western union if a remote agent is not available since this app/site seems to have a large pool of agents not listed with the big players.

Please do use Sharemoney

I will advise you to never use sharemoney. The customer service is very bad, and they can hold your transfers for several days without any reasons. I been sending money with them almost 3 years to assist my family back home. They decided to block my account for no reason and telling me it has to do with compliance. I don't believe that the reason because I been sending money to the same people over and again for the last 3 years. How it is not in compliance now and you allowed for the last 3 years. Take my word for it, please do not use them. They don't value their customers and care less about how long you have your account with them. I am an accountant and professional and all my transfers are justified and for my family members. Now I have to find a new money transfer company and reenter all my family which will take some time because in Africa some families are very large. Again, please do not use it Sharemoney they are going to just make your life difficult for no reason. The owner replied to one of my reviews from a site and promise to look it to this but nothing happen. Nobody call or follow up. That’s just confirm they just don’t care. Please do not use it. I am just trying to save you from the headache I went through

Secure, Easy, and Fast

I love this service, I’ve been using it for years now. I have to admit that at the beginning I was a bit skeptical, but it has gain my trust throughout the years, I have never had a problem. (There was one time that I moved to a different state, so I couldn’t make the transfer right away until I proved that it was me making the transaction from a different address, but I totally appreciated that) It’s easy, safe, and fast. My dad gets his money (across the globe) within minutes of me making a transfer and he also gets a notification text that he’s gotten some mula in his bank account. :D And I love that they give you promo codes every month to lower or wave the transfer fee!

Warning: You May Lose Your Money

I had a terrible experience with this app. I attempted to send money to a family member, but instead, the app sent it to someone else’s account number. As I have done for a couple of years, I used the "Quick Send" option, which pre-populates fields for convenience. However, instead of directing the funds to my relative for cash pickup as intended, the app mistakenly sent the money to an old account number I had previously entered for a completely different person. To make matters worse, the bank in Mexico accepted the funds but refused to give them to my relative, as that account no longer belongs to anyone I know. When I contacted customer service to request a refund due to this obvious app flaw, they suggested that my family member go to the bank and figure it out on their own. This app is dangerous to use. The risk of losing your money is simply too high.

What can I say

When I sent money to a family member for my grandma that was dying I had no problem so I referred a family member because I had had such a great experience. But when they used it and it said that the transfer was sent and my aunt went to pick up the money they wouldn’t give her the money because Sharemoney had it on hold do to identity of the sender not being verified . The asked for an ID which was sent to them , then they asked for proof of address and a social security number, now I didn’t know about you but I don’t feel comfortable just giving my number to just anyone . After we asked them to return the money they refused and said they couldn’t do that . How can you send money to other countries but not return money to a card you just pulled it out of!!!! Never again will I use this service and I advise you to NOT !! Use them search some other company that won’t rip you off .

Great, but SIKACASH is better!

Allows ONLY BANK DEPOSIT and CASH-PICK UP unless you $2,999. There is a transfer fee starting at $3.99 for every $100 or $200 you send. But they give a monthly $1 coupon off of your transfer fee. Money will be received within 15mins - 48hrs, but can take 3 - 5 days depending if the receiving country has a network or not. SIKACASH: Allows BANK DEPOSIT, CASH PICK-UP and MOBILE MONEY up to $2,999. It has a better currency exchange rate and NO FEES at all!! Money will be received within 5mins -24hrs MAX! I have been using this service for many years now, best way to send money to relatives and the fastest most reliable service around. Yes they do need to know who you are sending to and why, but this is for your protection and to make sure it gets to your family in a timely manner. Great service and customer service is usually very helpful and always improving. Thank You Share money.

BEWARE OF SCAM — IDENTITY THEFT

After you have made repeated successful transfers, they will put one on hold status and ask you to call their customer service for further review. When you call them they will ask you for your identification, proof of income (pay stub), bank statement and finally your social security number. Wow, after that I told them no thank you as I do not want my identity stolen. What a rip off company asking for all the ingredients for identity theft. Who knows how many innocent people that have their identity stolen from these thieves. I hope the government investigates them fully to insure no one has their identity stolen from their illegal process.

Don’t know why there are some negatives about this service, I used many times and all went smooth and fast. The best service, just a few second I can finish transaction and few hours my family from other size of the world received money deliver to the front door in person.

Easy breezy

I started using Sharemoney few years ago to send money for my kids in Costa Rica and I have to say it’s easy fast and the transfer deposited in my son’s bank account so he doesn’t need to go to the bank. Fees are very cheap specially with monthly codes. And customer care are great too very helpful. Way to go

Love the service

I had a misunderstanding with my friend’s type of account, I was not sure if it was checking or savings). Even though, I send the money and I had the whole assistance from share money to locate, where the money was and I really appreciated the help.

Safe, fast, easy, reliable and better fx

Sending money with Sharemoney is safe. They request identification as they are regulated by the government so definitely can’t be a scam and they make sure to protect each and everyone’s identity. The company is reliable, fast and offers better fx. Keep it up Sharemoney!

Thier customer service is on point and easy to make transaction and Tranfer just they verification is sometimes a problem but it’s dealt with when immediately addressed

It’s easy to use and fast. A few minutes to complete the transaction and a few business hours the money is received in the other side. The only downside is that it’s froze specially when you click to share on fb and want to go back cuz it asked to log in on fb...

Not very happy

This is the second time that your service has failed me. I am beyond upset at your service. You may have better rates, but at what cost? Anyone thinking of using the service just be aware that your transaction will not go through. It will just stall for days and the excuses multiply. There is hardly any customer service either.

Use Xoom

Email verification, phone number verification, drivers license verification, compliance checks, customer service checks. Each one of those was at least one email. Then an email from the bank that would be releasing the money. The bank had to verify that they would release the money. This is for a very small transaction. Plus I had to tell exactly what bank my friend would use. Sharemoney is not customer friendly. Do not use them.

Not good

I just cancelled the 2 transactions to the Philippines because the money is not showing in Mlhuillier’s computer. It’s been 7 days since I sent the money. They used to be a good one but not anymore because they keep on asking information including those people that you sent money may years ago. I’ve been calling ShareMoney but never resolve the issue. Very disappointing.

Horrible !!!!!

This is the most annoying, inconvenient, and terrible at that I have ever used in my life. They ask for so much verification, it is utterly ridiculous. I was only trying to send money to my doctor in the Dominican republic, and they were so picky about what I needed to be verified. It was so annoying! Took me almost 5 days to send some money. I will never I repeat never ever ever use this app again.

Great service Better Prices

Compare the 3.99 fee and full exchange rate to the competitors and it’s why I choose Sharemoney. I’m saving 20$-30$ each time I send money and that adds up to over 300$ a year!!!!

Best of Scamer

I could call a user trick, I made a transaction and they loved my brother to verify the address and I did it, they said I still couldn't do the transaction. Why not verify the address as soon as I create an account but when I send money, they tell me to verify it. I couldn't find any way to contact and they kept the money I wanted to transfer. Warning to everyone is that!

Slowest Transfer platform ever

Do not use except you want your money to be held for days. It seems they use the money to trade before sending to their customers. I fell for them twice. And I experienced the same challenges twice. I am never using it again. And I will advise you not to use it too.

Scam likely

I have receiving several calls from Indians using a Miami number asking me to verify my details and provide social security number. Meanwhile the money I sent has already been transferred so I don’t know why these Indians keep saying my transaction is on hold pending details verification. This app is not safe. DO NOT USE. This site is horrible and should be taken down they are not what they say they keep like the other gentlemen said a big hoax but in he end they are the ones that ain’t gonna have it there way so disloyal and decitful don’t use them for your own good I should have seen the review before using there site

Do not send money through this app.

I highly recommend you not to send money through this app. If you wanted to send more than 1000 dollars at once, they would treat you like a money launder. You will have to send proof of every. It's not worth the hustle

HORRIBLE APP

This app is extremely HORRIBLE. They ruined a transaction that I did with them when I sent my money to Nigeria. They LOST my money and have no way of reimbursing me for their mistake. ALL AFRICANS DO NOT USE THIS APP OR THEY WILL SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY! This app should be reported to the police for the fraud that they are doing!!!

SCAM!!!! NEVER USE THIS!!

I will not recommend this remittance aside from very slow it’s frustrating and it ask your ssn also it would take 2-3 days for the reciever to get the money.. This remittance is absolutely a SCAM!
