Easy and efficient!

I have tried several platforms to manage our shop and honestly, I am most pleased with Shopmonkey. It gives me everything I need. It is easy to navigate, and there are even still some features that are still available that I will sue you in addition to what I already have. Overall, I am greatly satisfied.

There's a few issues with this app.

I get that this app is supposed to help techs and shops, but it does have it's flaws. The camera feature is horrible, won't allow zooming, and any pics you take when the app glitches are lost. ShopMonkey will randomly delete your inspections even after you spent an hour inspecting the vehicle. All pictures, videos and texts just gone. The app will not let you add mileage from time to time, or set the vehicle as ready to go. If you click on someones profile it will randomly take you to someone elses profile and you do an inspection on the wrong car. ShopMonkey also doubles up invoices so you can end up paying twice the taxes before it's caught. It can be infuriating to use some days.

Great shop management

This shop management tool has help our shop move above the rest. Average ticket is up,customer satisfaction is up and have no complaints about anything. The merger from old program to this was fast and we were up and running same day we made the switch.

The app functions Limited ability access to technicians

I’m not impressed or happy with the program/app. I don’t have access to Diagrams Work producers.I can barely access any functions That I need in order to figure out my work time for the day and my total time for the end of the week it does not have accurate labor time for each job what I don’t like the most is the rate for all the jobs I’ve done so far since I’ve use this app always by minutes for example brake pads 48 minutes I think it’s not right or fair. I’m not sure if it’s the app for.

Shop owner

This software has made it easier as a business owner to manage my business so much easier. And navigating the app takes a bit to learn but with there training they give you it becomes easier. I would recommend this software to shop owners.

What’s the point?

just use the web browser on your phone. This app is good only for scanning vin or license plate info. Everything else runs poorly. You cannot see procedures or write estimates on the app, organization of the features it does have is poor, it doesn’t show what a client owes after a job is completed, and I’m sure I’ll find many more issues as I continue to use the app. For a service that costs $500/month, you’d think they’d have the budget to make an app that actually makes things easier.

Good review with a request

I love Shop Monkey, but I was thinking it would be nice to have a section for employee notes in the app. Somewhere where I can put my thoughts in one area and come back to that’s not connected to any certain job. Thanks for your time and consideration! Keep it up Shop Monkey

To much fluff

As a seasoned technician who has used a few different types of garage software I can say this is probably the worst. I can’t see what I finished , what I’m getting paid per line , my productivity. I can’t tell which jobs are finished and which jobs are approved or declined a small barley readable “decline and a tiny check box . The story goes after the customer concern and where is the safety check. I think it’s a whole lot of nothing. I don’t need ten what’s of listening the work I need the info clearly presented

Tech empowered and efficiency driven

This mobile app has been long awaited, and I’m glad it’s finally here. With the vehicle scanning, this app helps our techs do customer intake more efficiently, and is more thorough. I can also track progress on orders more accurately. I’m sure there’s more planned, but this is a great app right out of the gate.

Exclusive

This app works smooth and looks beautiful! Makes life easier for technicians. My favorite feature is using the camera function to scan vins or license plates. Shopmonkey will evolve your shop, exactly what we need to keep pace with an ever growing industry.

A good start

This app works ok but there are many features it is missing. For example i cannot reorganize the work orders to my daily assignment. It only orders them by authorization date or by name which can make it confusing and a bit unorganized for me. That’s a huge feature for me not to have and is only available via website. Other then that it works ok.

Might be good for a small shop with a couple techs at best.

Coming from a dealer and government environmental the programs available and used are far superior to this. The most pressing issue is that invoices, pricing and quantity can be changed at anytime including after the invoice is created which could easily lead to sticky fingers in a cash drawer. Additionally, there is absolutely no way to bill labor or parts internally for warranty or comeback repairs. Stay away from this software!

God’s Gift!

We were looking at every possible software out there for auto mechanic centers. This is the all around best. I’m blessed to have found ShopMonkey and receive such an amazing rate! Thank you ShopMonkey!

Needs Inventory

App works good for being able to access info from you phone but one thing that I think is very crucial that should be added is the ability to view your inventory from your phone.

Great software terrible app

I’ll start of by saying the software is amazing, clean, organized, easy to use. However the app is terrible, more than half the time when my techs try to upload pictures and notes in the internal notes section it shows on their end that it uploaded but then when they close the app it deletes or never uploads in the first place for that I have to rate one star

Very buggy, notes sometimes don’t save and it drops the customer and vehicle from the order randomly.

They’re the worst!

The idea of the software is good! But they don’t have a customer service line so no support is provided. As a business you can’t wait until someone returns your call to help with something. Software like them can me helpful but at the same time it came make you loose a lot of money if they simply stopped working.

Great app

The only thing I suggest is to allow details to be changed in vehicle information such as vehicle mileage in and out and tire tread depth.

Super Slow

Extremely slow. They have more customers than there servers can handle. Not to mention it’s cloud based and if there system is down so is your business

The software is incredible, the mobile app is total garbage . Not useful or user friendly on the app but the computer program is amazing

Was working fine… before the latest update

Now Im the assigned tech on the job but it won’t let me check mark a completed job and says “only the signed tech can mark a job as complete” but I AM THE ASSIGNED TECH on the ticket!!! 😤🤬🤦🏻‍♂️😒

Very Basic. Doesn’t always work

The app is very inconsistent. Sometimes it works sometimes doesn’t. It doesn’t show orders unless I search specific order by number. Very inconvenient and time consuming.

Mechanic side is horrible to use

As a mechanic you don’t have time to having to figure out where things are this app is hard to use it doesn’t work on androids and it’s hard to use on Apple products
