I enjoy it but who wins and why still elude me

If you at the end you have not been eliminated and you hold more ground it would make sense that that person would win several times I’ve made it to hold the ground up to my opponents fortress and I lose every time, all it does is say is defeat. This is better than most of these games that skill is less important then leveling up and the game looks great, a little small but great. The card layout is odd and takes a little time to get used to but I truly like this game and I hope I can get past the irritating stage of discovery and orientation. I assume I’m not seeing something obvious about how you win and lose games when both armies are standing at the end. Part of these games is learning those nuances that separates playable games and replay able games.

Greatest WWII app on IOS, but major issue with latest upgrade

This has been hands down the greatest approach to providing a fun, simple, yet sophisticatingly strategic game for IOS. I have had a lot of fun mixing and matching troop configurations to be competitive at each level. However, the latest upgrade introduced the Rocket Launching Vehicle. Worst Over-Powered card in the game. Everyone uses it with a spam attacks strategy because it is clearly dominating and with its extended range and cheap cost, it’s nearly impossible to defend against. This card has taken the creative fun strategy out of the game. Prior to its release, you weren’t sure what troops you would be going up against. Now, it’s carry only the cards that will defend against the Rocket Launching vehicle. First off, they are way to cheap for the amount of offensive power it brings to the battlefield. Second, it’s range is ridiculous. Either make the card more expensive, or lower it’s health dramatically! This card has seriously impacted the creativeness and unpredictability to each battle! With all this being said, I stand behind my words and refuse to use this card no matter how hard I get beaten back. Let’s just hope it doesn’t take my motivation, or I will hang my dog tags and retire. This was a 5 star game, and will remain a 4 star until this card is modified.

Rigged Algorithms

This game was fun in the beginning. I’ve been playing it since the day it came out. However, over the years I’ve noticed the developers have created algorithms that benefit newer players with lower ranks or for those including myself, that have spend money for the diamonds in the game. Also, they keep introducing new ways to improve your cards. It used to be that you could play the game and your wins would give you cards to help build your deck, now you have to gather a ridiculous amount of resources, that takes a lot of time, or just pay for it. They’re introducing complex ways to barely scratch the surface to build your cards. Also, they clan dynamics have been created to where only the top and strongest clans that are never beatable retain all of the wins and resources. There’s no transparency and every season keeps getting worse and worse. So if you choose to play this game get ready to use your credit card to make it worth it. It’s going to take a lot. Time to delete.

Some suggestions

Some cool things to add would maybe be officers and they boost infantry moral so that they won’t run away and can deal more damage and maybe the officers use a handgun but somewhat stay back. Maybe add different members of branches like marines. Another tactic that would be cool is a navy bombardment and it’s kind of like carpet bomb but instead of precision and across the whole map it could just be random but short but damaging. Another thing that would be cool would be special forces and it’s just like 3-4 units that are like the war hero but weaker but one has a sniper, 2 are commandos and a squad leader with a shotgun. Those are my few ideas that would make the game a bit more interesting

Good game but cheaters and problems

I love this game overall it is really fun and actually very difficult. I play this game a lot and recently I just came across a hacker/cheater. When the game ended I searched every page to find a report button but it doesn’t exist. On top of that if somebody says join my alliance via emoji, and I try to find where I can do that I find nothing. Then I found out the only way go get a search bar is to delete your own alliance, and then u searched up the guys name who asked me go join his alliance and I got no results. Again, great game and I love it, but is there nothing I can do about cheaters? Will they continue to cheat sign no reprocessions because there is no way for players to report other players. I’ve spent a decent amount of money on this app and WE At the very least deserve to be able to report a hacker.

Fun but disappointing

This game is really fun to play for the first time players because of the graphic and how realistic the game play. It’s very tactical when deploying units so it requires thinking ahead of the opponents. The only thing I dislike about this game is the developers are always finding ways to degrade your powerful units although you have worked so hard to make your units powerful. I’ve been in this game since season 6 and since then, the developer had made a few changes to the units that I have worked hard for making them stronger. Like for instance, the made the airborne units less, they made the Medium tank weaker in health, and now they made the heavy tank project shorter fire power, which pretty much degrading your units so that the game can make more money out of people. Road to Valor is another similar game to this, I’ve been playing there also since this game has disappointed me. Cool graphics tho is the only pointers this game has.

True potential.

Let’s start by saying I’m super into this game. I love the World War 2 “Clash Royale” concept of it. But it’s in dire need of polishing and the gameplay mechanics could use refurbishing. This game has a good chance to be on top 10, IF it were more gameplay friendly. Let’s break it down Pros -Good balance of cards, weakness’s and strengths. -Excellent map hierarchy, (Berlin being the last) -Great idea for a game overall! -Constant “special offers” in the shop. Cons -Opening a crate seems really cheesy, the animations look poor and cheap. -The one minute long overtime after what seems like a match that last forever doesn’t fit too well. -Lack of notifications when there is an update to the “clan”. -Two different segments for Troops and Tactics is confusing to the new player. -Once a player has momentum in a game, it’s almost impossible to counter. I suggest a bigger + to supply when your pillbox is destroyed OR increase the supply rate by 1.5/2.0x every time a pillbox goes down? I love this game, I created my own clan called the 75th Rangers. Sadly, I’m actually attending ranger school here in the next week. I’ll be gone for a couple months and I hope when I return this game will be much better than what it is now. I don’t ever write reviews, but this game has seriously caught my attention.

No money no fun

If you aren’t willing to fork over hundreds of dollars to stay competitive in the higher levels don’t waste your time!!! The game starts out amazingly fun and addicting but the longer you play the more the match making will screw you over against unbeatable opponents to try and get you to spend money to upgrade your cards. I love this game but have quit playing because I’m sick and tired of getting matched against players 3 and 4 levels above me. I would believe it to be fair if I as a level 8 regularly faced level 4 and 5s but hasn’t happened once. When I was at level 4 and 5 all I faced was 7s 8s and 9s. But I pushed on thinking “I just need to catch up to them” now that I am at 8 it’s all 10 11 and 12 even a couple 14 and 15. I’m done. I’m pretty sure most of the rave reviews are bought and paid for. Almost everyone in the clan I was in hates the horrendous match making. It was a constant complaint

Fun game But!!!!!!!

The game is a lot of fun don’t get me wrong But you play an play an you only get a few coins here an there not enough to really do anything an the price is funny $5 bucks for 10,000 coins that’s like two upgrades not worth it at all if the team would make reasonable prices I would be buying a lot of coins but this is way to much for a game like this it’s actually pathetic but like I said tho fun game but with unrealistic price. The upgrades are to much by far with the lack of getting gems or coins I take it someone didn’t Think before they released the game your team could be making a lot of money if you guys would change a few things an this is coming from someone that is part of team himself just saying hope you take my advice good luck an thanks for a fun game.

Where is my original account?

I have re-downloaded the game makes me start all over after I have accomplish and bought and no longer have access to my original account. All data has been wipe it seems. Made me start a new account for no reason if that’s the case I would love a huge refund that’s for sure never been banned under any circumstances. If anyone can help me that would be greatly appreciative thanks.

Versatile Fighter Tank

I’m level ‘Conquerer I’ but I still haven’t gotten the versatile fighter tank. When I diff some research I discovered in the game and on the game’s website that you have to be at least a ‘tier 9’ level player to obtain it in a pack, well ‘tier 9’ was about 6 levels ago and still no versatile fighter tank. It’s pretty annoying that other players are able to use this against me, especially considering that I’m higher up in tier and need all the hp/attack i can get. This particular tank is able to easily defeat all my options, including the heavy tank. I would rate this game a 5 considering that I’ve been playing it for a long time, but the way this card is alluding me in addition to the lack of support on y’all part to resolve the issue left me with litttle choice besides trashing you guys here. Do better plz and thanks… oh yeah get me my dangon card too…

Good but needs some work

This game is very fun and very entertaining I’m excited to see more cards and have the game grow. One thing I’m gonna say is that it’s insane how long it takes to open boxes and how much money it costs for gems and what not. The matchmaking I feel will get better as more people join? If so that I don’t really care about but the thing I care about most is how long it takes to open a box for cards you already have. It should take 1 hour at max to open a box, 30 minutes is a very reasonable time I think and anything lower would be awesome. I think that for higher/ more value able boxes it should be around 1 or 2 hours. Please take my feedback into consideration, Thankyou for your time.

Awesome game! Matchmaking desperately needs reworking though.

This game’s matchmaking needs serious overhaul. I battle people who’s single tank destroys four of my exact tank. It’s game breaking and I’ve stopped playing because I’ve reached a point at which peoples’ cards are too strong. I’ve dropped three different bombs consecutively on the same commando and he’s still alive. The cards are just way… way too strong at this tier that I’m at. A victory is impossible and a tank gets more than half my base’s health in a single shot. I’m addicted to this game but it’s only fun when it’s balanced. I don’t like losing for the reasons of “well you should have upgraded your cards with real money!” If that’s the kind of game this is, I don’t bother continuing.

Awesome game but..

Dude I love this game I’ve spent so much time on it. But I had a while where I didn’t pla and it was long enough that my iPhone uninstalled it. Didn’t think it was a big deal until I downloaded it again and I’ve lost ALL my progress ALL my cards. Back to square one. So disappointed I lost all excitement for the game and I don’t think I want to put in the work again. I hope I can recover my progress especially because I would put a little money in to the game every now and again when I would play a lot. I’m signed in to my account and everything, you’d think it would keep all of my stuff. But apparently not.

Balancing

This game has true potential simply put it’s really good if it’s improved But right now it’s really bad. This game is very hard to say the least, in that you don’t know what counters what, let’s say a troop or tactic is if epic rating, that doesn’t mean anything. Such as the flamethrower, even though an epic troop it can’t even compete with a basic shotgun unit. The flame is only a single spray and not consistently on. I also expected this game to be more realistic, not just look like it. There is no such thing as suppress fire and occupying some shed is a bad mechanism of the game, in that it’s a double edged sword. You get new land to deploy tactics but also your troops in the shed don’t do much other than defend and get killed much more easily. The balancing should also be fixed, epic or rarer Troops need some buff so we actually want to use em.

Good but

Hey so I love the game great concept but the only problem I can find is that in the early game the tank spam is awful and you can’t get to the point where you can effectively counter tank spam in tier 1 as it is most prevalent there I am consistently finding myself playing against 4 tanks with 1 tank on my team and having to spam bazooka and mines but I have already lost at that point as the enemy sends waves of tanks against me my solutions are 1. Add a unit cap to tanks 2. Get anti tank rifle men sooner 3. Switch the light tank and regular tank in terms of how soon you get (I.e you get light tank in tier 1 and regular tank in tier 3) 4. Add a new tactic where 1 troop with an anti tank gun ( kinda like a sniper that focuses on tanks and do lots of damage per hit) and paratroopers being troops instead of tactics would be nice.

Great but it has its problems

The game over all is very fun and makes you think which I just love about it. But if you get unlucky you can find people who just spam medium tanks. And over time that just gets annoying. Like for me I’m in France but it doesn’t mean anything when all you can do is hope that your tanks don’t die from the 5 medium tanks that the enemy already has. Also to include that some units can’t even do what they are meant to do. Like I find that AT gunners do better at destroying tanks than an RL guy which makes him just worthless so if you can find a way to valence put some units that will be great especially for new players. Cause with no good way to counter tanks at the start of the game is just not fun.

Long standing game

I’ve had this game on multiple devices for a few years now. It’s a great game to build your WWII gaming experience with. This game gives you the opportunity to work with other players to help build up your clan and share your plunder to help each other out. They constantly offer new content. The only minor complaint I would like to see changed is the ability to actively recruit others into your clan. Otherwise it’s a guessing game for new players as to which clan they join. JOIN MEN OF WAR! OORAH!

Unfair

I recently purchased 400 cards for $10. I thought I would be able to use that as I wished. I thought I could add the cards to whichever troops or troops i wanted. There lies the deliberate deception. Instead you did two things that irritated and upset me, YOU chose which troops they would belong to and you deliberately put them on the least desired and the least used, ie, “barbed wire”, “ammo drop”, “last stand”, etc. Regardless, it does not matter how popular or unpopular the ones you chose to place the cards I bought. I paid for them, that means they are mine and no longer yours, I was not told that you would be the ones who placed these cards where you decided. That is unfair. Block

Great Game

I have seen all the reviews and every one of them sounds like player error, the game is designed as such. If you don’t have troops in building they will keep running in hence spawn regular soldiers first...Also I haven’t had a matchmaking problem at all I’m sure it’s balanced based on no just your level but also how built up your troops and tactics are....I build fairly evenly and my matchmaking has been fine since the beginning.

It was a great game

Until the devs added veteran cards. I had a strong army built with lots time and patience. Hardly spent any money on the game and I was winning. Now with these VET cards in play, I rarely and barely win my matches. Unless I again start a whole new deck with VET cards which is gonna take a long time build up again if I don’t spend any money. Seems to me that these cards were added just to make you wanna pay for them so you can win again. Matchmaking could be better as well. Really was a great game until this was added.

Seriously?

In one of the updates, Simutronics added a new feature called Surrender. This bonus was said to give your opponent all 5 medals, and keep your loss to a minimum of -5 VP (Victory Points). I tried it when it was clear I would lose, and it gave my opponent the 5 medals, but I lost 20 VPs, 4 times the amount advertised. If Simutronics could please fix this, that would be great. I enjoy the other aspects of the game, including Alliance Wars and Conflict of Nations. It’s a good game. I recommend it to any who enjoy a WW2-themed Clash Royale.

Matchmaking worst of any game

Like the title states the match making in this game blow my mind. I am level 7 playing level 10s and up repeatedly I have 1085 trophies and am playing people with over 1200 trophies. This system of matching people up doesn’t make any sense it’s not going by level so it’s fair and it’s not even going by trophies half the time either so they are just lazy with the whole thing. And then you come across people that are losing on purpose so they can go lower in the ranks and there’s not a way to report them so they can be stopped. Seems the devs would rather add a fun event than fix the actual issues with this game

It’s ok I guess

I enjoy playing the game most of the time... what I don’t like is when they put you against another player that has at least double XP than you. Example: I could have 15 soldiers in battle and the other team only 1, and that one kills everyone. Bottom line is they need to fix this kind of selection because I can’t spend 💯 dollars to level up my game. Please see into this and fix whatever is necessary because I don’t think I’m the only one that feels like this. Thank you 🙏

Stupid mechanic card

So I love this game but recently this mechanic card has been added. It sort of takes any strategy out of the game. If you refuse to use this card it is almost impossible to beat Even with a superior force. It’s made the game almost unplayable. I’m debating deleting this app now. You should be able to counter. So I gave it a little more time and it’s so frustrating to lose to one tank with a bunch of mechanics. I’m deleting this app. To bad guy. I enjoyed this game until the mechanic.

Unbalanced cards

It’s a fun game, but some cards are overpowered to a point that regardless of level having to fight them is annoying. Rocket launchers: do loads of damage against even infantry unit (opponents can spam these units to great effect and annoyance) Flame throwers: do tons of damage to infantry and can take a beating (spam these units with heavy tanks and little can be done) Grenadiers: hardly throw any grenades and are perhaps the easiest unit to kill in the game (seriously you have to spam a ton of grenadiers just for one or two grenades to actually be used)

Excellent Idea, Poor Execution

The gameplay is fantastic and the strategy engine is really well done, allowing for several different tactics that can be successful against any other strategy. The issue is this game is about climbing the leaderboard, and unfortunately is designed in such a way that it actually promotes tanking... 5 star victories pay more than 1 Star victories, and thus you’re rewarded if you lose on purpose and then play weaker opponents. The result is people who gain more money and upgrade faster than a player who really is in it for competitive gameplay. This is a fatal flaw unfortunately.

No skill required

In this game, the winner is solely decided by who has higher levels, I have been put in numerous games where everything I have is immediately wiped out, and one time, a person even used only tactics and destroyed my main base directly. The game is basically pay to win. As long as you put enough money into the game, you can literally wipe out your opponent within 30 seconds or less. If there was some kind of feature to stop higher level players from playing with lower level players, the game could actually be a bit fun.

Best thing of this game? You won’t get far even if you spend $500. The game is amazing in the sense that, no one will become OP even if they spend a lot of cash. You just have to patiently play on and on just like the rest of the players. It’s a great game to play everyday without having to waste too much time. Perfect balance of everything. I recommend this game for sure.

Has a lot of potential

To be honest I started playing. But it’s fun. Clash of clans with ww2 is a really great idea, if they were truly going for that. I just wish their was a single player story and with historical scenarios of the Second World War and not just playing as the Americans and Germans but more countries like Italy, Britain, Poland, and the other countries that fought in the conflict. I believe it would be cool to fight in the battle of Hong Kong or Stalingrad. If they can make a second game with all these features I would love it. Or I just have to make my own game.

Good game hard grind

The rewards earning is ridiculous you can’t get anything money wise. Just won a game and got seven gold it should be at least 300 for a victory. To upgrade your troops be on level three or four is like 2000 gold. You would almost have to play 40 games just to upgrade one troop card but it would then cost more to upgrade again. Need to earn more gold and diamonds freely.

Fun but needs balance

Fun game for sure. Good strategy game and looks great. My two big gripes are the tanks act like they are being driven by toddlers. It’s ridiculous! They will drive into walls and get turned around and stuck and then they shoot at the soldier in front instead of the enemy tank right behind the soldier! Also, the shotgun guys are WAY OP for the cost. They are like tanks and it’s ridiculous they have not merged them a bit when they shred through more elite units that cost more.

10/10 if you ask me

I see a lot of ppl are mad about the lvl scales and fighting ppl who are a tab bit higher than what you are. They don’t rank you with ppl that are super high lvl than what you are so I don’t get it? I’ve had nothing but a great time so far. It’s about strat and good builds if you can’t do that idk what to say. Love this game so much hands down best ww2 game on the App Store!

Problems

You can have fun in this game but the problem is that you can play for currency and get bundles to get better infantry. Another problem is that people deploy like 3 tanks at the same time and then bazookers which doesn’t make sense since the limit is 10 points. I always face the same problem from people just spamming bazookers and just plain bull from deploying infantry you shouldn’t even be able to “afford” when you deploy three tanks. Besides that, yea. The game can be fun

Fun game, can be frustrating

The game may improve to a five star, however, at this time I’m a bit frustrated that the card of the day often doesn’t include non-veteran cards.... veteran cards can be hard to get, especially if you don’t want to pay, but up until recently this hadn’t really been an issue. Fun game that allows for some interesting strategy and tactics.

New update is full of bugs

I have been playing Siege WW2 for quite sometime and been scoring 75 medals a day. Today after the usage of new mercenary offer my medals got reset and even after winning the games I was not receiving any medals. Support team is requested to update my medals to 75 medals for today as conflict of nations is in progress and I am scoring number 1 in line with one of my team mates. It is a close competition and due to your system error I am losing my medals. No response has been received from the support and time is running. My season is ruined because of the system glitches.

I absolutely love the game that’s for sure what I dislike is about this is how all your boxes stack up so fast and they forever to open them and if you don’t want to open them you don’t get the advantage other players get just with if you buy the gems you’ll have the upper hand I think the game would be 10 times better if they add a way to somehow get gems like maybe watch an ad to get some gems to help take time away from the boxes and just have a better system I do really enjoy the game everything is awesome about it

Typical!

Starts out as a great game, but when you get to a certain level that’s when issues begin. All of the sudden your tanks get stuck on each other, group up, and can’t shoot anything. Personnel is able to take out a Heavy tank by itself. Your vehicles can’t seem to get around buildings anymore and get blown up b/c of it! Guarantee if I spend more money gameplay reverts back to initial scenario and my vehicles will stop grouping up, be able to get around buildings again, and a single soldier with a rifle will stop blowing up a veteran super heavy tank! Pfft

It’s okay…

Game play is fun but the collision detection is horrifically bad. At no time would a tank or other vehicle drive in to a building or other vehicle. Of course this happens every second in this game, so they get stuck. For example: If you have 4 tanks on the map, only 2 will fire at an enemy because the other two are stuck. Then they get blown up before they can even get a shot off. As I said, it’s okay. Could be MUCH better!

The only issue is that the matches are randomly selected by how many medals you have and I got matched up against players with higher leveled units and/or units you haven’t had the chance to progress far enough too to be able to even get by 3 tiers in my last game so there will be matches you can’t win unless your opponent losses connection these are only 1 in like 60 matches but still

Hacks

Wanted to like this game, as it has great potential, but too many loopholes and hacks. I am better than average at this game, yet over the past several days, I have lost about 18 in a row, some to equal teams, but I’m getting crushed by lesser teams and there’s nothing I can do. Curious if money plays a role or if it’s just poor designed loopholes? I lose to guys who are building tanks 2 to 3 times faster than me and I’m getting steamrolled. I understand higher rated teams, but to lose over and over again to garbage players says this is a real problem. Great potential, but I’m done for a while.

My favorite of all mobile games

I’ve played games on my mobile device where eventually I’d get bored with it. Paid or free , doesn’t matter. But this game has me hooked as if it’s a console program. I love it , it’s fun , fast and challenging. The multiplayer aspect is a godsend. I’d recommend anyone who likes gaming on there mobile devices to CHECK THIS OUT !!!!!

Not worth it

Don’t usually write reviews. But this game presented itself way better than it actually is. Right off the bat they want you to buy gyms to get cards to play against people because your base cards can’t compete with other players. Or you have to wait 40 minutes to get 4 cards and then it cost you gold to upgrade those cards. Not to mention the AI in the game leaves a lot to be desired often my units are just sitting there getting shot not being able to move frustrating pay to play and also basic AI make this game unplayable.

Spend money to lose a lot

This game has some real potential, but until they get the matchups fair, don’t waste your time or money. Like most of the other reviews say, graphics and game play are very good. Concept is there, and at the start of play it’s fun and addictive. After your start to get stronger, the computer matches you against stronger opponents that can devalue your setup to the point that you lose more than you win. Doesn’t matter if you spend money to get stronger troops and ops. Don’t waste your time or money until the developers fix the matchups issue.

Better then clash royal

Screw what those sorry losers are saying about this game. That’s what happens when someone pays $100 to win lol. But what could make the game a little better is if they added soldiers screaming in pain when they get hurt and saying little script lines when charging into battle. Disappointed

I have been playing this game for several years and it was really fun at first. This is unfortunately a pay to play style game. But the main issues with the game os the amount of people,in fact….entire clans using cheats is rediculous. Completely ruining the competitiveness and fun of the game. The cheat websites are easily accessible and the cheating is extremely blatant. Although the game does save fight replays there is no way to report and send them to the devs. Sad 😞

Great game

Love the play style. Wish you could have open chat with other alliances. A little like chess. Got to see what opponent brings out then counter. Be on offense and defense at same time. To play challenges, yourself and opponents are both knocked down to same level so you are working with skill. Regular battles could very but close
