I usually can't be bothered with writing a review, but for an app this bad I can make an exception. There needs to be an MST3K for apps so this app can be on it. The login utton doesn't work. It's there, and hitting enter while in the password box will submit the credentials, but if you think you're typing in your credentials then tapping that login button, think again, it's strictly ornamental. After that it demanded I change my expired password. Who still does this? It's the worst security policy. So I still haven't succeeded at fully logging in, maybe this app is actually a wonder of convenience and function once you get in, but I'll never know. And I might rather just give up on what money I have in this retirement account than deal with this technologically retrograde financial company again; their website isn't any better.
They should fire whoever they hired to build this app. Not only is it suddenly impossible to log in, but even when I used to log in, the only information it would display is my current balance. All of the other screens were blank with no information on the app even though they information is available if I log in from a computer. Going back to the sign in process that is broken, why is there even a button for “Remember Security Question” when I am answering the security question? Of course I’d want the question remembered! It’s the answer that I may or may not want remembered. Yet another reason I believe this app was designed by someone incompetent.
I’ve been with Slavik two months. Their customer service is very friendly, but I’ve put in a ticket twice to get the app to work. Last week I was emailed letting me know the issue was resolved. The only thing that changed is I can now get to the second security check. The app will not load your account info at all. It only gives you the loading screen that never finishes. How can I trust the company with my investments when they can’t even get a simple app to work? I’ll keep the bare minimum with Slavik since they’re matched by my current employer, but unless they make changes I won’t be rolling anything into it.
There’s a chance the app might let you login. The app is a wrap for the web app which awful to use. Slavic401k user experience is as bad as it gets in terms of retirement industry standards. They have some useful tools but everything feels disjointed and independent of each other with no real thought behind it. It’s scary how easy you can bypass their security. Please enable two factor authentication if you’re stuck with this service.
Poorly functioning web wrapper with punitive password settings
It’s a web wrapper app that is more frustrating than just logging in on your phone. What’s worse is that they make you reset your password multiple times a year, with nonsensical requirements. This likely makes things LESS secure, and creates needless hassle for folks using secure passwords. Developers, please make improvements.
I was locked out of my account, called support (asked for a call back) and after numerous attempts I was finally able to get in. I was told login doesn't work well for Safari (odd considering it's one of the safer browsers out there). I can only access through Chrome. The app won’t even let me login. Far from a great experience at the moment...
Login credentials repeatedly say they are incorrect (they are not). Even changed my password to something very basic and still can’t get it to work. Looks live everyone else has the same issue. Pretty sure my 9 year old is better at app design than the professionals they hired for this.
This app is not working on my phone. It loads forever and fails to log in. I have reinstalled it several times and even updated my phone but nothing is working. Its disappointing that this app does not work and they are the ones dealing with my retirement account.
App ask a lot of security question after that expect hours of one moment on the screen. They just don’t want you to see their poor performance. Never had an app that wouldn’t load no matter what you do. Do not waste time stay clear
Quite simply—this app doesn’t work. It will not allow you to log in. Even after uninstalling, reinstalling, and updating (several times over the last year), it has never allowed me to log in.
Can I rate an app with negative stars? The login screen barely works. And I have yet to view my account - after 5 minutes of watching it try to load I gave up. Do these people test? Do they try to use their own app?
I never write reviews, but this warrants one. The app just doesn’t work. It’s not even possible to login end of story. I’ve deleted and reinstalled and the app has never worked. Do not bother downloading.
Login works fine, but nothing loads. Just a black screen that says please wait. Nothing loads no matter how long you wait or how many times you delete and reinstall the app.
The app prompts you security questions and despite 100 percent correct answers, says they are all incorrect. Trying to use but can’t even figure out how to logon. Simple things; fix your app.
I never submit reviews of apps but this one REQUIRES me to break that habit because it is the worst UX I’ve ever experienced. I never logged in, even after authentication. It just froze. The developer needs to be fired for sheer incompetence. Absolute trash and unusable.
App has issues logging in however I can log in via website but constantly have to verify who I am. I use the same credentials to log in but the app never works
If you are cutting corners to save a penny, you are doing so, but at the same time you are building a horrible reputation to the point that I am beginning to question your business intentions. You should be investigated.
Can’t even get past the initial “Please wait”, as if you had a choice. Uninstalled post haste. Not sure how this crap even gets on the App Store. Must’ve payoffs involved?
I hope this app isn’t indicative of how they run the company. Otherwise, You might as well put your money in mason jars and burring them in your backyard.
Pretty bad honestly. Poor usability, visually ugly design, and feels poorly engineered with not great performance. FaceID is nice though. And it's functional. Shows your balance and contribution rate.
The Slavic401k app gives you real-time access to your 401(k) retirement account, allowing you to view your balance, view your rate of return, view fund performance, and view/change your contribution rate.
