Slicethepie – Get Paid For Your Reviews

I have been using this app for 6 years, and my usage has been very periodic. I have gotten to 3 stars, and now I can make acceptable money from the time I spend. However, it took a long time to build up my credibility to earn the amount that I do. Not a single person I have showed this app to has found interest in it, I guess it appeals to me because I like making money 24/7, even if it’s $5 an hour. I typically use this app once a year when I need money bad, and it has never been a long term routine for me. This app is like the friend whom helps you when you need him, and you leave when you’re set. Poor guy.

In very rare cases will I ever write a review about anything but this one actually blew me away. I absolutely love this app, it’s reasonably fast, the customer care/support are kind, and respond quickly, although reviews can take a while, I greatly think this is worth it for someone who doesnt have time on their hands. If you’re looking to make brief and easy cash I recommend this 100%. I’ve never came across a survey/reviewing app that has actually worked, their would be some points in time this would bug or say I have to be more “concise” with my reviews but that led to me getting where I wanted to be. This is great and I am looking forward to getting more out of this! Definitely recommend!

Hi there! I have only been using the slicethepie application for a little while, and I like it so far. I'm used to using the website, but the app is really, very nice...except for a few things. The three tabs at the bottom of the screen are not labeled, some of the buttons are not labeled properly, and the "rate it out of 10" feature should be converted into either radio button or checkbox selection, as the current method you use is inaccessible to me. The reason I am writing all of these things is because I am totally blind, and I want to be able to use this app without having to worry about it being inaccessible. Hope you will consider this feedback and resolve it, if you are able, as soon as possible. Thanks!

I signed up for this website and it kept giving me a hard time every time I wrote a review the first 2 okay the ones after it kept saying my reviews weren’t concise and weren’t specific enough. Than a little pops up what to do and I do that exactly and it still says it’s not specific enough. I contacted support and the support emailed me as if it was automated message because support emailed back telling me to do the same thing the website said when trying to submit my review. I mean it would be worthwhile to keep trying if you got paid more off the back you get one cent, yes 0.1 until you build up how many reviews you do to get paid more. 🤦🏻‍♀️And which is crazy because if you’re an artist like me you have to pay at least $20-35 just to get someone to review your song most of the time websites to get help to promote your music.

Great opportunity to hear and see new and upcoming advertisements and songs along with additional things to review. One thing I don't understand is why review offers are being sent to my email for new things to review, but the option to review the new items don't show up in the app. I have to go online to sign-in in order to watch the ads. Only music reviews are showing up in the app I downloaded. Why isn't the app updating with the new review offers you're sending me via email? I tried signing out of the app and signed back in, but still no luck. Can this bug be fixed, so it's easier to use the app to do the additional reviews, instead of having to go online all the time?

I rarely write reviews for apps but I feel that I should for this one. First of all: the only category that you'll ever review is music. If you're a music lover like me then you'll find that there's no problem with that. Not into music? Probably not the app for you. Just write what you really thought of the song, but be sure to exempt yourself from the review. Now, for the payoff. I am not going to sugar coat things: this app will not make you money. I've been earning one cent per review— which is not at all worth the amount of words you are required to type per review. Slicethepie will not allow you to cash out until you've made ten dollars. One cent per review. You do the math. I rated the app two stars for the songs, most of which are new and haven't been released yet. Tl;dr If you're a music lover, go for it! If you're trying to make money here, well. Don't go for it.

I finally got around to trying to use the app and was able to listen and rate one but the experience was bad from the start. I was getting error messages and had to start over several times after writing the review. Then I could not copy and paste my response which I tried after the third time of getting the error. Finally I was able to submit and I got .04. I tried the next song and after getting several error messages again and writing the review four times I just gave up and gave myself a nickel I found in the washing machine. After reading the other reviews, I am glad to have quit while I was ahead, as it seems they do not pay even after you no doubt have spent much time to earn enough to be able to cash out. Hope the artists are not paying to be on there.

I saw this app advertised and thought it might be a good idea, the reviews seemed to be mostly positive so I downloaded it, but when I try to create an account it keeps telling me to try again later. I’ve tried with different information, I’ve tried over the corse of 3 days, my internet and wifi is fine, I would genuinely like to use the app but it won’t let me. Edit: I made an account though the website, not the app then signed in on the app and that seemed to work fine, hope this helped

I love love love this app. You can easily make a few dollars a day on Slice The Pie if you have the time! The pay is very slow though. At the start you only get 1 penny per review (ridiculous in my opinion) but as time goes on and your reviews get better, you can get up to about 5 pennies per review. Another con is that sometimes you could write a really good long review and it will tell you it is not specific or good enough. It does not tell you the exact issue though which is very annoying. But you get to hear music and see fashion that has not been released yet! It's a slow way of getting money, but it's also an easy way.

It took me awhile to cash out but was able to. Then all of a sudden they said my reviews sounded the same. They were different but it’s the same person writing the review so of course it’s going to have the same tone. Tonight without warning I got banned and logged out abruptly. I made sure to put thoughtful replies and comment upon the marketability of the song. Since I used a lot of musical terminology such as, rhythm, melody, vocals, beat etc. it took that as I was a bot and writing the same thing which I wasn’t. I was able to cash out before but now banned after having $6 (you need $10) to cash out.

This app looked really interesting at first, but it's not very useful at all. First, when I asked a question through their email, they were a little rude. I tried to look past it. But after reviewing two movie trailers and a song (which had already been released), I realized that this app wasn't even trying to stick to the questions it asked me. It wanted me to pick out genres of movies and songs that I liked/disliked, then would play/showcase trailers for movies and songs that I had previously said I didn't enjoy. I was also payed $0.02 in total for my efforts and when I said that I didn't exactly enjoy the type of music it was giving me, I was responded with "your response is not specific enough".

I joined thinking that I would would get at least a dollar from each review. You by making 1 cent per review. I just think that’s weird. Then when I was doing the reviews, they said on some of them, cannot submit because it’s not specific. Yet I put VERY thorough review and when I did they said that I need to stick to one subject!!!! WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME! And I thought I would be reviewing more than just music but it literally only lets me review music. This is one of the most unprofessional apps I have ever come across. This was a complete waist of my time. They should advertise how they only let you submit reviews that they like. If I can’t speak my mind, then it’s not an honest review. BUT THIS ONE IS!!

I like the concept of the app and have been using periodically however if you were to be able to select the genre you are about to review would help. It would have greater odds of followers if they would have a better pay rate, obviously it’s not optimized for that at the moment but a few improvements can go along way. Like target goals could be effective if you can complete 5 songs a day get a dollar or etc. the long turn around time for payoff is a deterrent.

I’ve been using this app for a while now and I’m getting 9cents per review. So far I’ve only made 65cents. I love doing this kind of thing but, the time it takes to make $1 is days of doing the reviews. Every survey and or review app I have currently I can make $5 in an hour of my time. That’s considerably faster than slice. I will continue to use slice but I hope they reconsider the amount they pay per review. They are behind in the game against the other review apps out there.

While this app does allow to hear new music, rate it, and review in exact detail of each piece, it now high enough pay for the word you type. It would be great if you could also get direct deposit into your bank and skip the fee of PayPal (mine has a fee). Most of the reviews I do only get me 3 stars which give me 3 cents...this definitely isn’t the get rich quick app. If you love giving artists tips while also hearing new music, it’s great and you get pocket change. If you need money soon, this isn’t it, chief.

First of all the only thing you’re going to be reviewing is music, music, and more music. Not anything else. I thought I would be reviewing clothes, brands and logos,But no. And the worst part this app is when they yell at you for using “profanity” I used the word crap once and those snowflakes got all bent of shape over nothing! They were rude to me telling me to “wash my mouth out with soap!”seriously!?! And if you have spelling problems like I do (I have a learning disability) spell one word wrong they tell you that your review isn’t written in “English!” Umm discrimination and rude much! And earning a penny per review isn’t much. This app is false rude and pays you pennies while they rake in the dough! Not worth the download.

I’ve unfortunately been dealing with some health issues for awhile now that have really made working difficult. This app will not pay anything amazing but I have found it easy to make about $10 a week. So nothing amazing but when it’s hard to find work that you can so with poor health this is a very small way to earn something.

Most reviews are worth 2 to 4 cents and they accept you to basically write a paragraph about the song the instruments and the singer they like it very detailed. If you have a lot of time on your hands you could collect something out of it. But it takes awhile. Ive been using for 2 weeks now and only have $2.43 I'm waiting to cash at 10. You can cash out with PayPal and other stuff too. I wish they paid a little more that why I gave this a four.

I have been on slice the pie for at least 2 years and I reviewed songs casual. This week I was close to finally cashing out so I spent more time listening to songs and reviewing them and I never had an issue with STP until I got closer to cashing out. I first got an email saying that my reviews were all sounding the same despite the fact that they were approved and that they never had a problem with the way I reviewed songs before. I was only 50 cents away from cashing out today when I discovered that they locked my account. I wasted a lot of Time on this app. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. They are sketchy as hell for that

Good way to make money and waist a lot of time if bored. Keep in mind that it won't make you a lot fast. Just bear with it and you will get better stars and money😬. Although it may not make you a lot of money it is fun and easy to use. You can listen to new songs that have not been released yet. Some are a smash hit. Some are crap just tell them how the song is. Also it probably help if you left me, I or someone out of the review.

I have been using the app for a while periodically now and I have been able to cash out, which is always the hardest part in any of the “money” apps. I have made from $.04 to $.26 per song. For what you are asked to do I think it’s ok. Keeps me off social media and wasting some time. Maybe more things to review to spice it up, of course bigger pays are ideal, but not a bad app and real money.

This app is slow at first, I get that slow paced things are not a lot of people's things. But once you get more stars, you're going to start making $.05 instead of only one cent a review, which obviously adds up a lot quicker. I have had this app for not even a week and I already have $6.15. As someone who doesn't have a job and is a young student, it's really satisfying to make money this easy. I love this app.

As a visually impaired user, I can’t enjoy a lot of these apps, as they are not accessible. It looked accessible, but after I answered the questions and was on the last, it wouldn’t let me click on the Done button. The tabs at the bottom are also not labled. If you want more people to use your services, I strongly suggest you make some effort to be all inclusive and try to make your app more accessible. The app is more accessible than your site, which is somewhat bester, but...

So, first of all, I can’t login. I can’t create a new account, login, nothing! It sends me something about it being accessed on a fraudulent network, which is completely ridiculous. And then there’s another message, and it’s saying my email has already been used, which I know because I just logged in on the website. But when I try to login in the app, it sends me random, ridiculous messages or just says its incorrect. And on top of that, up to $0.5 a review? That’s the most ridiculous thing about it. We spend time on writing these, I think our words are worth more than five cents.

I've been a member for almost a month now and don't even have four dollars yet. I've tried submitting reviews daily even doing up to 15-ish times a day but lord and behold I'm only paid 5 cents a review if I'm even paid. According to the site I'm a 4 star review but I'm never paid a good amount. Also one week I wasn't able to review for almost three days because there wasn't anything to review but I know for a fact there was because my sister uses the site as well and is able to review when I'm not. Honestly membership isn't worth it but I'm going to continue until I get to 10 so I'm paid the work I've done.

I downloaded this app about a week ago and I have 20 cents. I don’t use it everyday and don’t put much time into it. I read some of the other reviews saying you only get 0.01 cent and that is true at the beginning. But as you leave more detailed reviews you can get up to 20 cents. I am a little confused because I am only able to access the music reviews but it says there should be other product reviews. Please fix that.

They hook you with the assumption that you can make money. Well, it’s like a dollar an hour. What you can rate is limited. When I tried, you could rate cell phone cases or music. With the music, you have to listen to 90 seconds before you can submit a review, for which you’ll receive 4-8 cents. Do the math, and this just translates into a waste of time. Supposedly, you can make more the more you work with it, but...again...flipping burgers would get you more for your time. It’s not worthwhile and not especially fun, so I don’t get why this is a thing.

This app was recommended to me by a friend and I was very excited to try it a first. I'm not saying the app is necessarily bad, but it has its drawbacks. First of all, you have to write quite a few words to only make one or two cents at first. As you go on you can make more, but it still doesn't seem worth it for how much you have to write. Also, unless you like music it can be hard to make money on this app. Like I said, this is not a horrible app, but there should be some changes.

I would give 5 stars if only they would actually let us have our own opinions they always have to filter out certain opinions you write? Then how is it a review or opinion if we are not entitled to half the things we write without you saying it’s not good enough or it needs to be corrected ? This needs to be changed we should be able to write something without you saying it has to be a certain way to submit it!

I ran into a problem where I was reviewing this song and I wrote a clear review about how the song was sad and people would listen to it if they was heartbroken and it said it wasn't specific so I completely changed it and it said the same thing. In conclusion I would like if y'all could make it to where you can skip the song completely and move onto a different song and review that one.

It's not worth the trouble. 2 cents per review? That's not why I'm deleting it. I was trying to write a review for a product. I wrote it out perfectly, but when I tried submitting it said my location was turned off and that I had to turn my location on and restart the app. My location was in fact on but I turned it off then on again just to be sure. I restarted the app. Wrote my review out again (5 minutes tops and I'm on an iPad...I type faster on a computer) it said my location was off. It's just not worth all that trouble for a lousy 2 cents. I can get so much more elsewhere. Goodbye.

Won't let me review a song I tried twice and keep saying to refresh session ended. I'm not sure what they mean. Need a fix the app keep turning off music when the screen closes. Im listening and need to reserve battery and would give review when song ends. I listen to the song twice now and now I'm not getting paid for my reviews. Sometimes I have repeated the review because it didn't get approved. Wish I could listen in the background the app has to be open still.

I’ve seen reviews where people complain about the amount of pay per song review. Listen, you sit around talking about music anyway, why not get paid to, even if it’s a couple cents. If you’re good at math then you know even $5/ hour for 6 hours for 30 days is good pay.

I like the app the problems that I have a just with the website and the product is self I wish that we didn’t have to ride so many long stuff to get the money also I wish that we could play themselves fully without the screen closed when I close my screen this song stops doesn’t

On a computer they allow you to review products, but on the app they only allow you to review music, it would be great if they allow you to do product reviews to the app as well. Overall the app is simple, straight forward and functions consistently well.

So I think with this app if you’re not really into music then don’t download it if you’re really into music go for it. I think it’s a waste of time depending on you only get one cent for each review it’s not really worth it considering how much of typing you have to do just to leave one review and also get to go to the troubles of you saying you’re plug arise another comment when it’s really just your words so if you want to download the app go ahead but I think it’s a waste of time considering you’re only earning $0.01 cent per song or per make up review.

I was so excited for this app, but it’s disappointed me so bad the payouts aren’t that much and they don’t give you good instructions on what they’re looking for in reviews. They always say that you’re not detailed enough or there’s a problem with the review in general, a lot of wasted time writing paragraphs to not get them approved. I'm in love with this app! Honest pay and actually does pay you!! My only problem is that happened just recently is that when I'm trying to listen to the music, it keeps pausing and playing by itself. Please fix it

I love this website and most of all I love the app. The app is the best part about this company but it needs a lot of work done to it. Please work on fixing the small bugs in the app. Other than that 4 stars for app development. I WANT THE APP TO STAY AROUND FOR A LONG TIME SO PLEASE MAKE IT WORK PERFECTLY !!!!! So I just downloaded this last night as something to pass the time. I can only review music right now. Pretty easy as long as you mention vocals, music, and beat. I also throw in how or where o would most likely listen to it. I did 5 reviews and now it's saying that there isn't anything for me to review. I figured I would give it the night and try in the morning, still nothing. I don't mind the app, but I'm not going to waste phone space if I can't do anything with it.

This offers such a crazy amount of music from all over the world and all genres!! It's a great way to hear all different types of music. The only problem is how quickly the songs run out, and how little you get paid for each. I have 4 stars, but the most I've gotten for a review has been $0.05.

I make $0.26 cents per review, and for each review I have to listen to 90 seconds of the song. I usually make $10 in around an hour, which is better than minimum wage in some US states.

To be honest, this app is not great. And by that I mean for making money. If you are a music lover like myself, it’s not a bad app. But, if you are trying to make a little extra money on the side, don’t get this app. It is a big waste of time if you are trying to earn money. The reason for this is because you get $0.01 per song review, and they let you cash out at a minimum of $10. If you do the math, that means you need to do 1,000 reviews just to earn $10 which can be spent very quickly. So is it worth it? No.

This app is really fun if you are a music lover like me, but it pays pretty badly. I currently make $0.06 per review which is better than most people but it still doesn't pay well. Also, at the very beginning, it was really good about letting me review music, but for the past week it hasn't let me review any music. I was also supposed to be reviewing other subjects like fashion as well, but it doesn't let me do that either. Overall a fun but not worthwhile app.

this app is definitely legit, but there are a few things wrong with it. the first day i reviewed the songs i made roughly 20 cents per review, 3 days in and each review gives me 4 cents now. another thing is whenever i type how i feel about the song, a message pops up saying my reviews are too repetitive. there’s only so much you can say about songs. if you don’t talk about specific things in the song, it tells you that you need to add more details to the review. obviously if they’re looking for a certain criteria, your reviews are going to sound similar!! i’m waiting until i can get enough money to cash out then i will not use this app any longer.

I like this app so far. At first I had a lot of problems. It installed great, no problems. But l had some tech problems logging in. Support was very prompt and was a pleasure to talk and finally worked through the problems. Now it's working great. Love it, would recommend to everyone who is wanting to make some extra money.

This app is bad . I did maybe 6 songs and I made 50 cent , that’s not what I’m made about tho . I understand the money adds up over time so it’s no rush . Today I tried to log in and it said my account was blocked for “ poor use of language “ . Like what am I doing , cursing about a song ? It doesn’t make sense . Don’t waste your time , you barely get money and they’ll block you .

Terrible app, I was first making $0.8 cents a review then I started say “I dislike/like this song because …” 0 if I didn’t like it and 10 if I did like it so doing that was able to get me $0.20 per review so I was at $7.50 so I got $2.50 more to get $10. When I got the $10 it asked to verify my birthdate, I verified my birthdate and there was no payment method for me to cashout because they never asked for it and the $ just disappeared after cashing out to my birthdate?

At first I thought it was a scam but they are legit and I love this music review job though it wouldn’t be a better a idea to keep the app updated every hour or two because I wanna review music & make the money very fun way to actually work from home. Keep up the good work though slice the pie.
