As a digital creator I usually had memberships to multiple site for royalty free music, video, sfx. That changed when I started using SoundStripe. I always had multiple memberships to have a wider variety of stock to use but now I just use one site and that’s SoundStripe. I was even more excited for the mobile app and it’s soft launch if great because their music selection is top notch. The curated playlists are simple yet always unique. Excited when they start adding stock video on here.
Been using SoundStripe for awhile and I’ve always loved their libraries for music. The one thing I wished they had was an app so that I can listen to music on the go. And finally there’s an app! It’s super simple to use like the website and has everything I need to listen to music. It’s all linked with my account so whatever I like or download will show up when I get back to edit. App would be much better if it didn’t automatically make you flip the iPad vertical every time. Typically edits are done with the iPad in the horizontal position, it is inconvenient to have to flip it to vertical every time I use the sound stripe app. Also would be great to have sound effects on the app, not just songs. SoundStripe, please take these suggestions into consideration!
I use Soundstripe for my workshops and workouts. This app is exactly what I need to take those beats with me anywhere. Thanks Soundstripe. A shuffle mode and Shazam functionality would be next level!
This app is worth it if you want to take your content to higher level. There is something for every creation, and then some. The music is world-class. Get it.
Finally…been waiting for this app and it doesn’t disappoint. Great quality just like their music. Also compared to Epidemic and already a much better experience.
I think it’s ok but it needs more vocal songs for all genres. I can barely find any actual music. If customers are going to pay monthly I think we should be able to pick good, hot and trending music for our videos. Especially for creators like myself. Good job with everything else though.
I find I like to listen to Soundstripe clips while I drive in order to prepare for the next video production I’m shooting. Having the app really REALLY helps!! Thank you for listening!!
Good app to begin with, there are still some freezing issues. When going to download music, it will sometimes “prepare” then nothing will happen, you have to close the app and reopen for it to work.
I have songs saved in my favorites and 80% of the time I play them it’ll be totally silent. It’ll say it’s playing but no sound comes out. Using headphones, speakers, or my phone as the output doesn’t fix it. Really frustrating. Even force-quitting the app doesn’t fix it.
I use for social media videos for my small business. I love the music but the app crashes regularly. After my annual fee is up, I’ll seek a different app
Hidden fee and expensive price only discovered after downloading, signing up, and finding the song I want. Hiding the end game is nefarious, frustrating, and 100% unreasonable.
This is the first free music download app that I found and It’s literally perfect for adverts, YouTube, etc. If your looking for royalty free music, get this app! Completely free to make a account and download songs! 11/10!
Short Review: The app has less features than the web application, and it does not offer anything (like save locally [like YouTube’s download feature on YouTube Premium]) Huge fan of Soundstripe, but not the Soundstripe app. A lot of the key features present on the website are missing in the app. • Similar Song feature, not present • Filtering tracks at all, not present (that’s a big one!) • No access to the sound affects catalog at all I want to like it, but it’s honestly a set back from simply creating a shortcut for the web app and adding that to my home screen. I’ll keep it in my phone’s App Library and check back every once in a while to see if it actually becomes worth the space on my phone, but if it doesn’t, it’ll end up getting deleted–simply because the utility is not there. Ya know?
