Amazing and perfect!
I want to preface this by saying I completely love this game in every way I’ve completed the main story three times with all jewels. I think it is a masterpiece and marvel of modern game site. On the other hand I would love more save files, I have completed this game so many times I’ve maxed out the same files and would love more so I don’t need to delete my old ones. Another thing that would be helpful is maybe lowering the difficulty ramp in the one chance mode. I think it’s just a bit too quick of a spike and would love a few more one chance levels too, the one chance mode is not my favorite. Also I noticed that sometimes while you are swinging and you bounce off a wall it will change direction but other times while you were swinging it just rubs against the wall, I assume this is a purposeful design choice but sometimes it just does not feel right. Thank you for creating such an amazing game, I loved thumb drift too. And I think you’re an amazing game developer!

Wonderfully satisfying one button game
I’ve played dozens of Apple Arcade games, and I’d rank this among my top 3. An absolutely beautiful game, at the same time stress-relieving but engaging. The environments are all gorgeous, and I love that you are able to customize each level with your favorite. Would love to see more environments in the future, but I can tell a lot of time and effort was put into these, so that may be difficult. I also appreciate that even though this is a one button game, the devs included controller support. A huge bonus for me as I often prefer sitting back on the couch and playing without having to hold my iPad. The only other improvement I’d ask for would be to try to get the iPad Pro version to be able to run at 120fps, I’m pretty sure it’s running at 60fps as of writing. Not sure if this is an engine limitation or if it just needs some optimization, but that would be the icing on the cake. Hope to see more from these devs in the future!

Best Game on App Store
This is my first and probably the only app review I will write on the App Store. This game is incredible and addicting, making it the best game available on the App Store. I have completed every level with 3 stars as soon as they release them. It is so much fun to play and is designed very well. I can’t recommend this game enough. The only downsides are the quick battery drain and the levels are too easy to complete. I find myself finishing the levels fairly quick, leaving me waiting months for them to release more levels. Hopefully they release more levels soon and it doesn’t take months like this most recent update did. I also hope they create more levels similar to “The Lab Experts Only” that are more difficult and challenging, because in my opinion the levels that are near impossible to complete with 3 stars are the most fun. But overall, it is a great game and I’d give more than 5 stars if possible.

The concept of their old game “One More Line” taken to the max
So recently, I was going through my old games I had played years ago, and downloaded “One More Line”, a game that operates with similar functionality in an endless dash, and I had a lot of fun with it. When I saw this game, it immediately reminded me of that and I was happy to see it was by the same developer! I loved that game and now after about a week of playing, I love this one too! It’s incredibly simple yet incredibly fun, and I think also has some really great innovation to the puzzle design. Just when you think you’ve seen everything the game has to throw at you, they find a way to use the mechanics you have already mastered in a new way that proves challenging and fun every time! Absolutely love this and I also love the added touch of each different theme having it’s own soundtrack! Really fun way to give the player the ability to change the mood of the game! Also love all the different game modes, so if I want something fast and challenging, I can play Rush; if I want to have to think about my moves and learn through trial and error, Classic is the way to go; and if I just want to enjoy the beauty of the game, I choose Zen. I’m about 400 stars into the game so I still have plenty more to explore and I’m excited to see what’s in store! Thanks so much for the great game!

Finally completed level 146 with 3 stars!!!
I didn’t think it was possible, as months ago I played this game quite frequently, but I got stuck at level 146, where after perhaps 100+ attempts, I could not complete the level with 3 stars. At that point, I had enough and so I deleted the game. Fast forward to today, where I decided to re-download the game, and after maybe a dozen attempts, I was finally able to complete level 146 with 3 stars!!! 👍 Great to see that the developer added more levels since the game was initially released. So I now have a renewed interest to move beyond level 146 and keep playing. It feels good to be playing this game after a long hiatus, as I love the game’s built-in music soundtrack, and it is a fun game to play, although it still is quite challenging!

this game is magical. i’ve never left a review on the app store before, but i can’t stop thinking about how amazing this game is when i play it. i loooove that none of the levels are impossible, but they’re challenging; it’s a perfect balance of challenging and soothing. it’s the only reason i have apple arcade right now. i especially love that you can play any level at anytime, so you don’t have to just give up the game if you get stuck on a level. they split up the very hard ones into their own chapters, which i really like as well. it’s a really enjoyable game of rhythm and timing. the background and avatars are BEAUTIFUL and dreamy. there’s a theme for everyone and it’s fun to unlock them as you go and see what’s next. i only hope they continue to add new levels and update the avatars.

One of the best mobile games!
Okay so I’ve played a lot of mobile games and when I mean a lot I mean it my phone is filled to the brim of mobile games that I’ve played, even on my friends phones I’ve played some others. But SP!NG is top number 3. It’s amazing it has no ads,Incredibly smooth, and has more and more new updates! I played this game on a 5 hour plane ride and I didn’t exit out. It has so many characters, levels, and different things what I mean by things is like different zones? The different zones are like Classic,Zen,The lad,The lost levels,One chance/life,Hyper. You can also compete with other players to get first on a leaderboard! Overall It’s an amazing game. And if a chance that someone is reading this YOU SHOULD DOWNLOAD IT!!!😁😁

Another vote for haptics!
Overall, this is a game that’s worthy of your download and time. Solid physics, fluid visuals and quality sounds effect + score. That being said, I was super bummed to discover that this game has zero haptics. I read another review where one of the devs explained they had incorporated it, initially, until it began to cause unforeseen consequences and this is truly a shame. I know the team says they’d like to add it back at some point so I just want to say I REALLY hope you take this serious and figure out a way to make this work because this is the type of game where haptic response really shines and adds a lot to the total experience. Other than that, I’m really digging the game so far (chapter 9 or 10 atm), thanks for the hard work!

The ‘Ted Lasso’ of Apple Arcade
So hear me out about this review title: As I was working my way to the point where I could write this I was thinking about all the things I liked about this game. First and foremost is the degree to which I was hooked from the first round. The simplicity of the control. The clarity of purpose. The gentle visual prompts. The fact that ‘failure’ doesn’t feel so much like failure as much as it does “Oh, I see. Just do this instead.” Might take a couple of tries, but positive reinforcement is emphasized over negative reinforcement. Success feels good and failure isn’t the end of the world. Then I got to its entry in Arcade and start reading the copy. I’m not sure I’ve ever actually experienced this before, but it’s actually accurate! The words they use to describe the game actually corresponds to the experience of playing it. So yeah. I’m hooked. After a year, there’s finally a second game on Arcade I love (rather than ‘it’s ok’). If (and only if) you enjoy physics-based (flying, spinning, running, jumping) type games, I’d highly recommend it. It’s not for everyone because nothing is. But if it is your type of thing, give it a try. You’ll feel better after.

Great Game, but add custom level maker
Ever since I downloaded this game, i got too excited for how good it is, how the concept of each level brings something new to the gameplay, so many hard and relaxing levels, it literally became the most opened app for three days for me, but NOW, after completing every level of this game, perfecting them all, i miss the old experience that i had with this game, a new custom level maker, where players can share their own levels inside the game, with a more challenging experience, would truly make the game rock over the 1st place on the Apple Arcade category.

Good game with oversights and bugs
I’ve collected every star in the game and after that I don’t even have every skin, meaning they will remain locked until more levels are added. This has locked me out of multiple achievements. The most annoying bug outside of Hyper mode (which I’ll get to later) is the haptics having a strange delay and sometimes not working at all. Hyper mode is fun, but feels very cheaply made. The physics updates appear to be the same, meaning there is a constant lag that you just have to deal with. Sometimes strings will fling you very far in a direction for no reason. Half the levels are reused from other modes. It just feels really cheap for a game made for a premium service. Overall, the game is great if you’re looking to pass time and want a challenge.

Ending support for unfinished game?
The game itself would get 5 stars, and I highly recommend it to everyone. However, I can’t rate it 5 stars because the developer has apparently decided to stop supporting the game, leaving the most recent update as its final version. As multiple other reviews have mentioned, there are levels that are bugged and impossible to complete with 3 stars, and I have found other levels that crash the app if you don’t complete them as intended. I reported one of these bugs to the developer and was told that they don’t have the capacity to fix the issue. For a service like Apple Arcade that we are paying a continual subscription fee, I would hope that the games in the service would also be continually maintained.

Great game! What's up with daily challenge though?
I love this game! The levels are relatively easy even the ones where you only get one change to use an anchor. So I finished it quickly. But there's a daily challenge! Yay! However, I can't figure out how it should work. Sometimes I put in a time and I get a ranking. Sometimes it doesn't matter how often I play it, I never get ranked. I also have serious questions about the fastest times for certain challenges. I'll see top times that are so fast, they seem impossible to me. Not talking a couple of seconds but 20 to 30 seconds faster than what I'm able to pull off, even if I make no mistakes. So either I'm missing something in how the game can be played or something else is going on.

No Flow - Just Leaps of Faith
I’ve played over 100 levels of this game, and it is shocking to me how disappointing it is, because the core conceit is actually quite a good one. Flow in gaming means getting to a state where you can turn off your brain and just be successful at handling new challenges, because you’ve been taught through mechanics and lesson design how to approach the game. That’s not present in Sping. Do you like when you die for no reason in a game? Then maybe you’ll enjoy Sping. Frequently, the level design attempts to break up repetition by introducing difficulty in the form of leaps of faith. There’s no amount of reflex or flow state in the world that can prepare you for them, you just have to die and then memorize the location that the level killed you and try again, often losing 80-90% of your level progress, hoping that you can tap at the right time when there are no actual tells in the level to indicate the death trap ahead. Cheap level design definitely does the game no favors. I think a simple change that could improve the experience somewhat would be to visually indicate the ranges for various level features, since none of them are very intuitive. The grappling range of the hooks and the suction range of the pipes and exits should be communicated to the player somehow.

Leaderboards appear broken, but gameplay is absolutely incredible!
The mechanics in this game are simple, as are the controls, but the levels are imaginative and new concepts are introduced frequently. A clean finish of a level is usually very satisfying, but requires effort to earn. The game rides the line between approachability and difficulty very nicely. UNFORTUNATELY, the leaderboard functionality seems to be barely functional at best, and broken at worst. I noticed this most prominently in Rush Ch3 Level 46. My time is not reported on the leaderboards, even after two allegedly top-ten completions. Additionally, it is not uncommon for the leaderboards to vanish while you’re browsing them and subsequently soft-lock the game.

Simple, yet challenging and still fun
The simplicity of this game is wonderful. The graphics and gameplay are perfect, and it’s still challenging enough that it will keep you hooked until you complete all the levels with full stars. The only reason I can only give it 4 stars instead of five is that for the daily challenge, it’s clear that the top scorers have either found a way to cheat or they just don’t exist. And since the game doesn’t offer a chance to see a replay, it’s impossible to know which one it is. But it is simply impossible to achieve some of the times that are being displayed. Unfortunately, that will keep the game from a perfect rating.

Forever App
I don’t keep a ton of games on my phone indefinitely; usually I play until they lose their charm and then delete. Sp!ng has earned its place right next to WHAT THE GOLF? and Heads Up! on my Home Screen forever. (I guess I like games with punctuation in the names 🤷🏻‍♂️.) If you haven’t played this yet, give it a shot, but be prepared for it to eat up all of your free time. This game is addictive and rewarding, and nothing feels quite the same as finally getting a “Perfect!” on that level you’ve been attempting all day! If only I could find a way to make a living playing this game, I’d be all set!

Favorite game
The game is sometimes easy, sometimes maddeningly hard. It’s addictive, so I limit how many I can play in one sitting. I knew I wanted this to last a while. Eventually I made almost to the end, and I was sad to be done. Then they added so many new levels that the game was like new again. With the developers winding it down now, I know I’ll miss it once it’s gone. But I’ve had so many hours of fun, and just enough frustration to keep me trying, that it would be a shame if I didn’t thank them. Wonderful game, I wish you well on whatever follows.

Great game, just needs haptics
This game is fantastic! It’s a joy to play, and the visuals are stunning. The only reason why I don’t love this game is the lack of haptic feedback. It feels as if there’s something amiss whenever connecting to a point and releasing it after a satisfying SW!NG (forgive the pun), and it’s assuredly because of the lack of physical feedback. Now, to be fair, I’m not a developer, so I don’t know how hard it is to implement this into a game, but the developers for this game are clearly talented - they’ve created a beautifully smooth game, and like I said before, the visuals are stunning - certainly they could add the haptic feedback with a quick update (for all I know, they could already be planning to add it). If this was changed, I would definitely edit my review to 5 stars, and play this game more than I already do!

Frustrating fun
So having completed all of the possible objectives. I find that I was both frustrated and throughly enthralled during the entirety of the game. Some levels were fairly easy to complete, some were nightmares. And failing to pick up one “jewel” or whatever they are, meant I was hitting the restart button. It’s addictive and incredibly time consuming if you let it be. I feel like there maybe more content coming? Only reason I say that is I completed everything and as far as I can see I can’t make further progress towards new balls. Or characters. Or whatever they are.

Great game marred by the daily challenge
The game has been my go to since it’s been released. The simplicity of the gameplay combined with the variable difficulty of the levels hits the sweet spot between casual and serious gaming. After completing all of the levels I turned to the daily challenge. It has been a great way to extend the playability of the game. The frustration of seeing some of the same names at the top every day with scores that appear to be impossibly fast has me not wanting to play anymore. The ability to see how these fast times are accomplished would be helpful in allowing me to improve my gameplay and be reassuring that nothing shady is going on.

The game was perfect.
I loved the game on my iPad 6th gen. I found absolutely nothing wrong with the game, it was challenging at times but very much possible. I had completed the game three times, I had every icon, and all stars. But not anymore. I recently got an iPad Pro 11”, and now the game will not even start. It does not even try to enter the app. And then I realized, all vertical Apple Arcade games will not even start! I didn’t want to give 4 stars because of this problem, but I am very disappointed with Apple, I hope Apple fixes this bug in a future update.

BEST GAME ON APPLE ARCADE!!!
This is a great game, very challenging and exciting. Will make you think quick and also how to get from one point to the other. How fast are slow how long are short you need to hold onto the sphere. I love this game always a go to when I’m not playing Pokémon. There is just one tiny thing. Thank you for the newest updates the The Lab is great, very challenging love it. But could there be more levels. I know there are 252 in Classic and 36 in One Chance and 9 in The Lab. But I love this game so much I want some more levels. Thank you and keep up the great work.

Buggy!
I put in two work orders to have some levels fixed a couple weeks ago, and haven't received a response. Getting kicked out of levels, and a few of the Rush levels are literally impossible to get 3 stars. Love this game, but it's darn near impossible to get in touch with support. Sping isn't even an option when you go into the support page, unless you specifically type Sping into the search menu, where there are only a few options to choose from. None of which are helpful. Love this game so much, and it was hard to say anything bad about it. But, unless the problems get fixed, what good is "support"?

Fabulous
There’s a few games like this in the App Store, based around movement and grappling your character to objects as you spin and fly thru levels… but they all lack what this game nails: great LEVEL DESIGN. The physics on this one felt a little floaty to me at first. But the level designs more than compensate for it. And there are hundreds of levels to play. The game surprises by constantly giving new challenges and new mechanics to play with. Definitely recommend this one for short bursts of challenge followed by gratification. Nice work developers!

An Arcade game done right
Having been somewhat disappointed with Arcade offerings, I came upon Sping recently. I've played it on my phone, ipad, and just downloaded on my Mac. I love this game. The physics and mechanics are first rate. You need strategy and timing to finish some of the more advanced levels. It is very simple to play, but challenging to master. Practice makes perfect! The daily challenge is also fun. You play against the clock to see how you fare against others. The music is soothing and sound effects are great. And, this game can be very addictive!

Mind Blowing Game!
I never thought I wld like Arcade games till my husband downloaded it for me and I tried this awesome game. It blows my mind to think how intelligent & imaginative the makers of these game are. It REALLY takes some thinking to get thru the levels. Pus I like the idea of a daily challenge to add something different to the game. It’s so much fun & challenging to play this game. I LOVE it! Keeps your mind young for sure. The people who made this game should get a reward for it. I like uncommon games and this is one of them. No other like it in the game world!

Worth playing 100%
I’ve been waiting for the game since it was announced. I’ve been enjoying every moment since. Great visuals, Sweet Soundtracks, and simple game(but challenging). I’m a huge fan of the soundtracks. I need to ask.. am I the only one who thinks bad soundtracks can kill a game? All around a huge hit.. on all points for me. The levels start a piece of cake, in fact they get a more challenging as you play. If you’re like me though, and you like a little competitiveness... The daily challenge? So far it’s my favorite. Hope to see some of you at the top.

A beautiful, skillful game that actually understands mobile gameplay
Incredible visual design, one-touch controls, bite-size levels, meta-progression… but doesn’t slack on skillful gameplay or artificially restrict progress. In this market, even great mobile titles often feel like a compromised experience that would be better on any other platform (larger screen, real controls, longer playsessions), but SP!NG was clearly designed from the beginning to excel within those constraints. The dev(s) deserve a huge pat on the back.

Perfect Amount of Frustration and Fun!
This is the first review I have ever written for an app, but I just completed all levels (not the lab) and this game is so much fun. Some levels are quite difficult and take some good planning, but it is so rewarding when you finally beat it! The difficulty progression isn’t perfect, but I didn’t dislike that because I was able to breeze through some levels and not get stuck on every single level. I would highly recommend!!

Fantastically addicting
I enjoy platformers and other action games. This one snared me immediately. The sound and visuals are wonderful and it’s built for rapid play (i.e., no clunky menus or waiting for scores to add). It’s like a crazy mashup of golf, pinball and Super Mario. Get this! Update: Removed a star because the expert levels are *too* expert. The ones beyond “Doom Dungeon” are simply impossible compared to rest of the game unless you’re willing to devote your life to them. A little more tolerance for error would make it feel like you have a sporting chance even after 993 other levels.

Great game with some design issues.
Most of this game is great. Some of the hard levels are maddening got so and just too long to get right. The timed levels feel like they should have had a few more passes to get right. Some levels you have to do perfectly to even get the worst time and some just feel like they were designed by a crazy person. Others meanwhile you can finish easy with like five seconds left on the par time. So four stars overall but loses a star because some of the levels are just not fun.

I really enjoy this game! it's a fun and simple, yet quite aesthetically pleasing! some of the levels are a breeze but others seem impossible until you get the trick, making it a good mix of a challenge. the rounds are pretty short as well! but I wish the rewards were a bit more intuitive. you collect the diamonds for stars and seemingly randomly you unlock more backgrounds? maybe with diamonds you could purchase the backgrounds instead idk

Great Arcade game - fun, fast, good difficulty
I just finished the last level and I have a few more stars to go... Love the game. Each level plays quickly and has something fun or novel to figure out. The overall flow is great - you can pick up for a quick minute to try to knock out a level - or replay dozens of times trying to hit a tricky 3rd star. Levels are nicely balanced and all the mechanics make sense. Runs great on my iPhone 10 with no lag or overheating. Hope they decide to add even more levels down the road

Incredible. So much fun. I can’t believe I made it through every level. In “the lab” there were some puzzle ones that I felt like took a little more thinking to figure out, and I would love if there were a puzzle pack as I really enjoyed those ones!! It took me like a week to figure out the last level of “the lab”. Such a fun adventure. I’m sad I finished and wasn’t able to collect all of the stars! Is there somewhere else to get stars?

One-handed, easy
You only need one hand - really, one finger - to click the screen. You play the part of a star on the end of a rope that is attached to a circle by a string. The goal is to collect more sparkly stars until you drop down into a hole. Some people might find this very tough. Other people might not think twice about it, and it’s perfect for them. Especially if they end up in bed sick with a fever or something. It holds enough of your attention to be challenging, but it’s also very ergonomic.

Love the game, needs more though.
Game is very addicting to play and I finished it over a vacation, however I wish I could do more that isn’t ridiculously difficult. It’s annoying that some levels are “difficult” because you die to things off screen when you zoom towards them. I also would like to unlock more cosmetics. If possible I recommend a sort of sandbox/make your own level editor. Would make this game just that much better. Continue the great work!

A Classic
I thought I was over being addicted to games until this came along. This is the perfect formula, simple one touch controls, awesome soundtrack, variety of modes, and an simple to play but difficult to master style. There’s something for everyone here, and you need to try this especially if you’re subscribed to Apple Arcade. Try the first 5 levels and see. Just don’t forget to go to work, eat, sleep…stuff like that.

So My Grandpa Even Liked It
The day I started this game I’ve been having a blast. One thing that’s great about this game is that it has controller support. Another great thing is that most of it you don’t need Wi-Fi for, so this game is great to play if your on a road trip. A third thing about this game is that it’s so satisfying. Then one day I went to my grandparents house and showed my grandfather the game. I reached him how to play it and then even he liked to play it.

Really fun games some bugs
I am taking the time to change my original review and ratting of the game because the developers took the time to let me know they were actively working on the problems I was experiencing. The fact they are responding to every negative comment shows that they have the commitment and dedication to making this a great bug free game!! For this reason along with the enjoyable relaxation the game gives me. They deserve 5 stars

This is the best game on the App Store
Absolutely the best game out there. This game is amazing and the developers keep adding to the game! That’s a huge win for a mobile game. My fav mode is One Life. I just wish they would fix ram that one mode. It use to be playable then it wasn’t, now it just gets too fast too quick. One suggestion is for One life, if you collected all The gems the rate that it speeds up is slower and vice versa. Thanks Devs for this fun game.

Great to play: Just ignore the cheaters
It’s usually very challenging and most of the time the fastest score is mere milliseconds faster than the others. Sometimes, however, someone finds a way to hack the game and post a time that you couldn’t match even if you simply race to the exit with no regard for collecting the stars. My goal is to play until I believe I’ve posted my best score each day, regardless of where I rank, then quit until the next challenge is available.

The perfect phone game
This game is partly why I still have Apple Arcade. The game is easy to pick up whenever you have a few minutes to spare, or hours. The unlockable skins offer new looks to the already mesmerizing graphics. Similar to the flash game HANDULUM+ in both gameplay and quality. The stages are challenging yet fun. However when you play on hyper mode and switch back to the normal speed. It feels very slow.

Honestly one of the best apps ever
I’ve only ever been a casual gamer, never 100%ing any game but there’s something about this game that has made me, to the point where it compelled me to write a review, another thing I rarely do. I would recommend it to anyone I know and I hope they add more levels. Edit: the one thing I will say is the daily challenge board does not work if you use a VPN and a fox would be greatly appreciated!

Not too many games are near perfect. But, this one is. One button controls with smooth gameplay, bridging the movements between objects. It all feels so fluid. If there’s one thing I’d like to see added, it’d be replays. Please add the ability to do so. I’ve had some really good runs and is like to show them off to friends. Thanks for all the effort. You’ve made something truly special!

Amazing!
This game is so fun! It is calming but also exciting and i love doing the daily challenges each day. One thing that i have struggled with is that at the end of chapter three it got really tricky and pretty hard but that wont bring my rating down because one thing doesn't bring it down compared to all the other fun parts of it. (Sorry, i may have worded it weirdly)

Love!
I do really love playing Sp!ng. I wish that new chapters got released sooner. The small delay when you replay a game seems to be fixed, but different chapter, different daily play and more prize goals for daily play would be amazing. Love this game, but daily play can get very repetitive with no different levels. That being said. One of my favorite games. FIX 155! We are all going insane!

Love this game
Some feature requests. On challenges, it would be nice to see your time for each of the three stages. It would make it easier to know if adjustment you are making are effective or not. It would also be cool to see the first place game after the challenge is done. Sometimes people get times that I can’t figure out how they got.
