A start engine is the best platform to invest in long-term financial health for the self and for the benefit of the public. 100s of smart ideas pop up and we get the opportunity to support these ignited minds that have the potential to change the world. Intuitive Grab of the Future

StartEngine is well designed with Much of the “how to” information right before your eyes. The support is helpful and friendly. I look forward to investing with StartEngine. The state of our economy and dollar makes it imperative for me to put my dollars to work and investing in companies not yet public is the most lucrative. Tell them William Gomban sent you. The man with the plan! Just do it!

Not helpful and unable to withdraw sooner.

My family has struck a medical emergency, in which I require funds from all my possible sources from my own pocket; however, most of the listed companies on this app will not allow you to sell your shares sooner. I brought this to their attention and they offered two possible solutions - neither which were quick, immediate, or comfortable with. I plan to withdraw all my shares from any listed company on this app and highly encourage other users to avoid this platform, as your funds will most likely be locked away for a while. Wish this app was like Robinhood and the interface is awful to look at. Highly recommend avoiding the use of StartEngine.

SCAM!!!!!

Took so long to transfer funds the start up I invested in ended without accepting my funds. Tried to withdraw my funds back to my account after which the only thing I was told after ~ 4-5 back and forth emails from “customer service” was “are you really sure you want to withdraw your funds? If you do send us an email” after which I sent the email to request my funds returned and ran through the WHOLE THING AGAIN - “are you really sure you want to withdraw funds? If so send us an email...” I would call this app a joke if it didn’t steal my moment but since it’s taken my money and I have received no tangible goods or agreed upon service I’m calling it what it is - a SCAM!!!!

Delay in loading

As of Feb 10th, the search button is taking forever to display the category results. Although everything’s else works fine , sometimes others options gives the trouble and I need to restart the application. Please identify the issue and patch it as soon as possible. Thanks .

Needs Much Work

I’ve been using the online platform for at least 2 or 3 years now. It would be nice if I could use the app also, but it doesn’t allow me to login. When I enter my login info, it takes me through the sign up process as though it’s a new account. Once in that process, you can’t go back to the initial screen. It provides no menu options or anything to allow starting over. It forces you to set up an account. I don’t need, nor want, to set up a new account. So is it that the app isn’t made for people with existing accounts, which makes no sense at all?

I have enjoyed using this Start Engine since 2015. The leadership & company platform have helped me find new financial opportunities to grow not only my wealth, but I will be part of invigorating entrepreneurs ideas and creative journey. Also I love crowd fundraising & group collaboration effort, and extra perks/rewards are also awesome.

Support feature isn’t working

I have been trying to contact this company for a couple days and when you go to support and try to send them a message it prompts you to confirm you are not a robot. When you check the box it spins for a while then comes back with an error message and you cannot move forward. Also their phone number will not allow you to talk to a person. I’m starting to rethink this investment…

Good App, horrible link support

Good app, does what it needs to do, but as an investor on the platform when you get an email from “StartEngine” on an update and you click on the StartEngine Link…. you expect the app to open and immediately bring you to the article… you were emailed about. Nope has not worked for as long I have used this platform for 1 year. Please fix this Otherwise works good.

Start Engine is good place to start investing in companies that fit your interest, taste, hobbies and the bank account and many of the companies will be very profitable long term. You decide! Awesome opportunity Anything worth while is risky, however could also be very rewarding. speak with a financial advisor if you are not sure.

Fast, simple, looks great

Love the app. It really takes the simplicity, design, AND functionality of the site and puts it in your pocket. Love the ability to invest in new offerings immediately instead of waiting until I’m in front of my computer again. FOMO gone!!

Game Changer

I’m an unaccredited investor, and it’s crazy to think how only a few years ago I wasn’t even able to invest in startups! StartEngine has significantly democratized finance and all us retail investors stand to benefit tremendously. What an incredible app. Beats Robinhood for sure!

Start Engine App Review

The app is very useful but basic. As an app designer, it would be nice if there was a toolbar or drop down menu with a search function. There also should be a “My Portfolio” function. Start Engine offers many great options to startups and I monitor the site thru the app often.

I stopped investing

Initially it was exciting, and I invested quite a hand full of my money, but little by little I discovered that there is no sense of security. You give your money away in hopes that these companies will grow in value, acquisition or go IPO at one point, but there is no way for us to know. Zero way of knowing. I completely stopped investing, because for all I know these people take my money, for to never hear from them again.

Excellent App and Very User Friendly

Since I started investing in Stocks back in 2018 I always Hoped and Prayed that I would find that Next Biggest THING that I could Invest in on the Ground Level for a very affordable amount. StartEngine gives you the opportunity to do Exactly That. StartEngine also makes it Extremely Easy to make an Informed Decision in exactly What Company you would like to Invest in. I am Extremely Pleased with StartEngine, and I will Definitely Recommend this App.

Solid App. Is just as advertised!

Follow up to previous review

I was wrong about my account not existing anymore my daughter suggested that I log out. Then log into my account again & my bonus shares & my investment in champagne 15 Charlemagne . I gave a 1 star review & suggested fraud on behalf of the app. I was wrong, my apologies.

STAY AWAY!!!

You invest in these companies and never hear from them again and have no way of tracking what’s going on, and you definitely won’t be making any return on your investment. Let alone even getting your money back, these contracts are set up to where the little guy gets screwed when these companies get bought out.

YOU WILL BE SPAMMED

This app and company will aggressively spam you. If you look at ANY investment, you will be automatically subscribed to all updates and reminders to buy - for that single investment. I’m getting over 3 emails a day and they WILL not stop. I don’t want to block because I actually have investments here, but I think it’s time to sell and move out. This is getting out of control.

I can’t believe people fall for this why would me wonderful want to share his investments with yall losers they only post scam companies all companies that are destined to fail. Think about it why would a mega rich person want to share their investments with the average joe that’s not how the world works they want you to use this app to make their pockets fatter. SMH I can’t believe this is even legal.

App Locks Up

It doesn’t appear to work consistently. For me, the app locks up every time I use it. This is both on Wi-Fi and over data. Since I am a Start Engine investor, this does not build my confidence. Get this corrected please. I am running iPhone 12 Pro, IOS 16.6.1.

PIECE OF CRAP!!!

Beware!!! They will make changes to your investor profile without telling you and once you find out GOOD LUCK getting someone to fix it for you. They changed mine and it’s been months trying to get this resolved. There are better funding platforms out there. Don’t say I didn’t warn you

Too much Personal information

Why is this app asking for so much personal information like SS#, employer & information on family members? I'm wanting to sign up to review what Start ups I may be investing in, but have to answer all this personal information first. Why?

I’ve been registered with those platforms is 2021. I can never get any help I’m always met with automatic emails that never have a follow up email what I’m gonna do and when I’m gonna do encourage other investors to do is to file a complaint with the FCC and the consumer protection financial bureau

buyer beware

No real time phone support… There are some bait and switch traps in the software during offers… I got my 10% discount, but I had to fight for it… If there was another way to support Legion M I would do it that way!

I added the wrong account to the app and now it wants to create a new account, and I cannot back out to put in there right account.
