The instructions say to type the name of the Country when it shows the silhouette of a state. When it said that the United States wasn’t the name of a country, I put in the state name instead of the country and it was correct. It tells you the distance away from the correct answer, so when you get it right, it’s 0 miles. What makes it kind of stupid, is that you aren’t selecting the state on a map, so if you answer wrong, the distance from the correct state is irrelevant. In actuality, when you get it wrong, it’s not necessarily the location that you didn’t know, but rather you didn’t know the name of the state based on its silhouette. Then, after only a few rounds, the app wants to charge you a recurring charge to continue playing. This app is not worth your time.
Would love to have my kids play this game but not if this problem doesn’t get fixed: I want to like this game. The premise is good. My problem is I never find out the answer. Once I have made all my guesses it just asks me to share but never tells me what the state was. Don’t feel very motivated to keep playing this game if the state remains a mystery. Other similar games on the market will tell you the answer if you don’t guess it yourself. Why won’t this one? If this is changed then I will happily give the game 5 stars.
Unlike the country version, you don’t get any outline of the state, you’re just entering a random state and then get only two more guesses just based on the direction. I also wish you could know the correct answer without having to share your failure or pay money. Odd app, seems pretty early in development.
So i had to learn states and capitals for school and I thought this game would be perfect to quiz me. But i was wrong. One time i was playing and it asked me, “What state is Montgomery in?” and i typed in Alabama. Alabama showed up as wrong, and said it was 2000 miles away.I was confused so i asked my dad the same question. He also said Alabama. So i went and looked at a map, and guess what. It was in Alabama. I deleted the app and was sad. The end.
I swear, I come back to this game, yet nothing changes. Stop scamming people into rebuying this app. So many ads, and my review doesn’t make it onto the list of reviews? Scam. This is greed. Also, stop making pay for every little thing. Make the sharing optional. But I shared once, and I can’t play again. No I won’t share my Statele results.
This was a free, fun, educational game that I loved playing every day with Wordle. You had a few tries to guess the state, ads were at the bottom. Now with their latest greedy update, you put in 1-2 guesses and a video ad pops up. I understand wanting to make money from your app, but this is over the top. I’m deleting it.
Feels very spammy. I downloaded the game for the first time and on opening the game: 1. Tutorial pages (1, 2, 3) 2. Prompt me to give the app five stars in App Store 3. A page prompting to purchase the game. This page was “sneakily” designed to make users think “You have to pay before continuing” as well. Scammy feeling overall.
You can only play once a day for free, unlimited costs $30/YEAR. I like the premise, but the game is overall a fail. I mean, even if you don’t pay for it you have gone through every state in less than 2 months! What is the point?
I started playing this game months ago and loved it. I climbed in the global rankings daily. Since getting a new phone, it will not let me play daily and does not update my score so my global ranking has plummeted. Very disappointing. I have contacted support to no avail. If they fix it, I will be glad to update my review.
At first, I liked this game, but then after only about 5 minutes, it told me to buy a subscription to keep playing. You only get to play a few minutes a day without the premium subscription.
after you do the daily thing and guess 3 other states, it makes you watch an ad or pay. idk kinda stupid, there are tons of other free websites and apps, I wouldn’t recommend this.
I’m incredibly sad that it’s a game that some people look at a clear picture of a state and can’t get it right in five tries… It’s way too easy unless you’re not from the US. I guess it’d be a good learning device for kids.
This is the worst game when it comes to geography. Here are 3 reasons. 1. This should be: States around the Worldle. Or else only Americans play this game. 2. After every game it just forces you to pay to continue, and if you refuse it gives you ads. 3. I was playing and it asked what Juneau is the capital of. I know for a fact it’s the capital of Alaska, but it told me I was wrong and that it was the capital of Alabama?! It also is very limited in its free version and not as much fun as I was hoping it’d be

The state outline part is good it’s fun keeping me on my toes the capitals is all wrong I got Juneau so I type Alaska since I know what the capital is and it says it’s wrong
Aside from the fact that you have to share your results to keep playing (booooo), it asked for the state whose capital is Juneau and then told me that Alaska was wrong… by 3000+ miles…
someone leaves a bad review then they leave an automated response saying the same thing as everything else. way too many ads, and nothing in this game should cost money.
