I gave three stars because I just downloaded app are there other plans it would be nice to get a couple more down loads only 1 download a moth is a little inconvenient the app has a lot of great features and I can’t figure out where to find the download
I’ve been using Dreamstime for several years now and ❤️❤️❤️❤️ it! I have several blogs and use it for images and illustrations for posts. Here are some of the many, many pluses Dreamstime has to offer (not in any particular order) - millions of images - USA company but images from all over the world - PC website very easy to use in all aspects, search, pay, subscribe, like, etc - app equally easy to use; search is somewhat faster - Lightboxes for easy categorization by any method you want - ability to contact photographers (though some may not answer, some do!) - ability to follow a fav photographer - multiple subscription and token plans - subscription/token plans are very reasonably priced; however if still too much for your needs, keep in touch via newsletter, Dreamstime has sales corresponding to other retail sales, I.e. Black Friday - ability to download excel spreadsheet of images purchased - ability to re-download an image in a size purchased previously - Very Nice and responsive customer support I’m sure I’m leaving out something… but these are the things that stand out in my mind. And for that reason I give Dreamstime a big 5-stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Glad I was able to pay 2 USD for one image through the app instead of paying 23 USD subscription for 5 images a month or 18 USD worth of credits for one high-res image through the website. I bought the 6600x3300 photo of the new 100 dollar bill, btw. Time to print some money... on my custom mouse pad.
Horrible App, it steals your money and your information
Dont make the mistake of buying this app because they seemingly have cute pictures, because they are not actually available to you in any usable format. They will not give you access to downloads unless you give them your private information that they are selling to a third party, and then, when you buy a download, it is completely pixelated, not usable. This app is a scam, dont fall for it!
NICE selection of photos in easy to use categories ranging from free public domain, Abstract art, etc, to purchase with copyright options. Reasonably priced. Definitely an easy to use and fun stock photo and artist serving site. You shouldn’t be bored-Lot’s to choose from!!!
I’m going to give it 3 stars because when I wrote to them to complain they quickly dealt with the problem. I’m still not sure how to use it, but after telling them I never intended to subscribe to the app they quickly deleted my account for me. Thank you for that. Personally I’d rather buy an app than subscribe.

Get this app with Companion, the app I'd recommend for photographers to get paid online with their photos! Dreamstime is the client's app viewing 96 mil photos. Yes you gotta pay for things but if you really admire the photography and are thinking about purchasing a photo...this app is the right one for you. 1 star for simplicity 2 stars for the watermark 3 stars for an app that pays you
I enjoy using this site very much. It can be challenging to register and locate free photos, but once I registered I was able to buy some fantastic photos and download them. They are great for using as inspiration for watercolor paintings!
After considerable tech difficulties with the app, I was finally able to log in and access a promo they were running—15 free downloads—only to discover that the photos are STILL stamped with the logo, and the “free downloads” are for evaluative purposes only. It’s a promo designed to get you to commit to them, get your cc number, set up an account, but absolutely nothing about it is free.
Do not download this app or give them money! I created an account to try to obtain images to use for making a logo. I was forced into a subscription. I tried to cancel this through the Apple subscription setting in my general system preferences, but am still being charged!! And now I can’t re-log into the account to cancel it through the website.
Even though I was able to "install" this buggy little app, I was never able to get it to run on my iPhone 5. I would click on the app's icon, for two seconds, the app would show me a picture of a pretty woman, and then it would crash. I even rebooted my phone to see if that might help, and no use. I agree with all of the other commenters here. Not worth your time.
Been contributing to a variety of stock image sites. Have no issues with Adobe, Alamy, 123rf, Pond5, and others. Dreamstime he been nothing but headaches. No transparency. Staff rejects images everybody else happily accepts. No explanation as to why. Tried contacting customer service, and it only gets worse. Avoid with extreme prejudice. This app is a waste of time and money.
Your site is a scam. I signed up for the free trial but my card was charged immediately. Then, there are so many issues trying to download 1 simple image when it says free 7 day trial. I want bear holding sign and surf bear giving Shaka sign download ASAP. What's more, these same images are available all across the internet. Don't ever download anything here or give your cc info. It's a joke.
They will RIP YOU OFF!!! Ridiculous sign in .. says error when signing in.. no way to recover email because says email doesn’t exist… zero support component waste of my life trying to figure out how to login in!! It’s soooooooooooo frustrating I’ll pay whatever on another app to NEVER have to deal with this one again.. wow!!
There has been no download capability for months now. I waited for an update to come and it hasn’t. Very frustrating. Emailed customer support a while ago and all I got was a generic response to use the website for downloads. Too bad the website is glitchy on my mobile devices.
Seems to work, after a fashion, just doesn't do anything. You can manually view a small selection of pics from what must be a vast collection and the search feature doesn't work nor do categories narrow things down - dismal effort!
they make you subscribe to paying before you can download and when you try to download it doesn’t let you. it’s a scam they just take your money! don’t make the mistake I did! don’t download!
At one time I was able to login and download but right now the app keeps on crashing even after deleting and reinstalling. Once I log in, it crashes. 😐
I am a longtime user of the dreamstime website for my work as a graphic designer. I just downloaded the app for iPad and I cannot find out how to add images to lightboxes
Does not work right. Made me pay twice to down load then it’s saved on the app I can’t extract on to my pictures. Just go through safari it works better
This is the WORST app you can get I recommend you never download! They are annoying, every 10 seconds an add comes up. They ask for email and everything so you can get a picture....really? I gave it 5 stars so it would be at the top. It's not even worth half a star. Waste
Nice for browsing images, but the "add to Lightbox" feature isn't working. It saved *one* image I clicked on it for, but none of the others. In fact, the "add" button was frozen. This renders the app essentially useless. It does allow viewing many images at once, though, including those already in the Lightbox, so that is very nice. I don't know how it is at downloading images because I don't want any of them on my phone.
Where are the free pictures? All I see cast 4 credits and that's for the extra small version, to get a good quality it's 15 points. And how much is a point anyway I never saw that. I'm sure it's hidden in the rules but not somewhere easy to see. This is a scam.
I was looking forward to this app because we use the web platform often. Looks like we will have to keep using the web platform. The development team needs a product manager and a UX designer to make this app work.
It says “free stock photos” and I downloaded the app. When I found out it wasn’t free, I deleted the app. A charge just showed up in my bank for $25 from Dreamtime.com. I couldn’t even sign in to cancel because they do not have my correct email. I have no record of a purchase or subscription from Apple, so I can’t dispute it. I had to dispute it with the bank and now need a new banking card! I noticed they didn’t even post this. And my husband just got a notice in his email and HE’S NEVER EVEN CONTACTED THIS APP!
They offer a 5 cent plan as a step up from the free plan. I looked at their nice photos for an evening. The service is nothing that I need, but the photos are attractive for free. I have tried repeatedly to contact these people without success. I will up date if they refund my money. Services such as this should suspend charges until the service is used once in order to avoid this ,misunderstanding.' They know how to take money, do you suppose they might make it a little more fail safe before charging people $39.95 on a recurring monthly basis. They were good enough to send me a reminder of their up coming third monthly bill otherwise I might not have caught this. I rate them high on photos, but low on transparency as to billing. I will update when/ if I get a refund.
