I love this game but it could use some different changes, like a free time level of some sort. I completed all of the levels yesterday and I thought about some ways to keep the game going. You could add one with all of the characters and settings in one whole level with the maximum amount of frames. This way all of the stamps and extra trophies could be collected easily. I have completed all of the levels yet not all of the stamps, and I wouldn’t prefer changing any of my previous stages or scrambling to find certain characters or backgrounds to use to collect the stamps. That is one for the freestyle idea, and the other would be a change between devil levels and regular ones, or adding all of the devil levels to regular ones with still changing in between them. Thank you that is all. Great game btw
hi, it’s me again and I’m AAxel❤️. So basically I really love your game band and so and I really love your game and I know I sent a lot of interviews but I really love it. I always give us five star. It’s so good. I literally like your game is so literally good. I literally scream my mom, if my mom deletes it oh my God, I’m going to scream and cry. I’m literally going to cry if you do this game I will. I’m going to cry. I’m going to wine. Literally going to ask you over and over again to literally get it back because they literally love it I love it. I’m falling in love with it. I love your game, love everything so much and I think you should make it every time when you each a level like completed it gets dustier and dust and dust and dust until you get the last few levels like level 20 and level 30 and so it can be so dusty that’s gonna be very so hard to breathe so I think you should add a brief and a timer so you have to leave the level every time when you’re about to run off air because it’s gonna get too dusty and wrinkly and old and and I really love your game. Please add stuff. I really love your game. It’s so good like just love the graphics. I love it so much thank you if you read this I love you. I love your games that you make. I literally love your games and I literally love big games just you’re going tough on those games. I think you should add all this and I love the games and thank you for adding this. Bye-bye
The game "Storyteller" is truly a hilarious and entertaining experience that will keep you hooked for hours. From its witty characters to its absurd scenarios, it never fails to bring a smile to your face. The game requires a certain level of intelligence and comprehension as it challenges you to come up with creative and unexpected plot twists. It helps improve your storytelling skills and trains your mind to think outside the box. The bookmarked feature allows you to easily pick up where you left off, making it convenient to play during study breaks or whenever you need a good laugh. Overall, "Storyteller" is a game that perfectly balances humor and intelligence, making it a must-play for any high school student looking for an enjoyable and mind-stimulating experience.
Have never seen this puzzle before. This is an excellent puzzle and I wish there were a word to describe games like this! The world needs more games like this, and having a good word to describe would help! Love the different scenarios and increasing mechanics as the game proceeds. Play this game, you will not be disappointed. Now, I am not a fan of the “You solved all the levels, now go back and find the hidden gems, or replay some of the levels with a different goal”. If you want the gems, fine, just let me find them as I play. If you have new authentic levels, let me play them. But I don’t want to go back and resolve things. So just let me solve all the real levels and say I’m done.
Was going on Netflix for my daily binge but then was intrigued by the games. Downloaded this one because the art style had me hooked. I’ll admit, I started the game not expecting much but after what I said would be a few levels, I could not stop playing. A couple hours later, 100% completed and this game is now my favorite mobile game ever. Reading reviews, I’m confused why some people don’t like it. Most complaints seem from people struggling with the puzzles but is that really a problem with the game then??? It’s refreshing! Challenging and makes you think outside the box. Beats the games that treat you like a toddler. Embrace the fun!
I’ve 100% the game, getting all achievements and bonus levels. I absolutely loved it. I’ve even got my partner and all three of my brother in laws to play it. My only problem with it is there’s not more, honestly would love more puzzles. I appreciate the easier ones to teach you concepts but the challenging ones are a lot of fun. I do wish they had a hint button if you’re entirely lost because I see a lot of people say they had to look up things to get through. I only looked up one, an achievement based on a story that I had never heard so it gave me no clue what it was looking for. If it does expand I bet some more fairytaila could be so fun. Like the three little pigs already works with the werewolf, Goldie locks, Cinderella, a grow and shrink mechanics for Alice in wonderland inspiration would be fun for puzzles. I just think there’s a lot of fun possibilities to consider to make a more lengthy game. Even if it was a paid dlc because I’ve played all of this one I wouldn’t mind paying a few bucks for a longer version.
This game is great but why do you have to log into Netflix for it because honestly I don’t have Netflix but I really wanna play this game because I heard it from a friend but like I used to play it on her phone a lot cause I couldn’t play it on my phone but I really want to play it on my phone because you know we’re almost done with all the levels but I can’t cause I don’t have Netflix, so can you make it possible to make it to where you know you can play it without Netflix? by the way, I actually this is a really good game. I love it just this is just my opinion. I really just really wanted it on like the App Store where it’s not on Netflix but yeah.👍
I like the idea. I did have a lot of trouble navigating the book which was weird because, up until the end, the only place I ever wanted to be was at my point of progress. I really did enjoy the game, but most of it felt like beginner level puzzles. I was shocked when it was over. I was thankful for the few extra puzzles variations at the end, but I found the idea of having to search through all of the puzzles to complete special challenges to be unappealing, especially since navigating to find them would be frustrating. It was a sour way for things to end
I just got this game and it’s really fun to play! I completed it in one day and had so much fun figuring out the puzzles. One thing I would like to know, however, is if there are any plans to make a Book 2 in the future? I would like some knew puzzles to try, and I think it may bring in more players as well. Also, I do have one issue: I’ve been trying to get all of the stamps, but some of them keep disappearing and saying I didn’t get them even though I did. Is this a glitch, or is there something specific I have to do?
I finished this game in two days, stamps and all. Don’t listen to what someone else said about not wanting to go back to find the levels you need to get the stamps, that was one of the best parts. Figuring out what you’d need in order to make the stamp happen, and remembering which level had all the requirements was a great challenge. I do wish it was longer. And I do agree with maybe having a freestyle level, you could have hundreds of possibilities. But what I want the most is more chapters!
Okay everyone who’s saying it’s “o-k” or “not worth it” are lying to you. I hate puzzle games usually, but this one is actually fun+funny. I find myself also creating different ideas/narratives to the chapters for each level. It’s really interesting how many different combinations you can make. Also I’m pretty sure it requires no Wi-Fi, and at my school…the WiFi is TERRIBLE. But yeah overall I love this simple yet fun game, the only thing I’m not looking forward to is finishing the game! Hopefully they make more like this, or perhaps new daily chapters/levels?
The puzzles were super fun and I liked that there was a little flexibility with how to set up some of the stories. I enjoyed the extra levels. I agree with another reviewer that navigating through the book is too difficult for the bonus to complete. The pages flip all at once or it sometimes deletes a panel. Having to try and find the right story and the book doesnt cooperate is not fun at all. Also some of the scenerios I definitely did when playing around with the scenes but since it doesnt come up until the end its like now I have to find the scene again. Would still love more games similar to this.
This game is truly unique and one of the best mobile games I've played this year. There's just one issue. Although it has quite a bit of content it can be quickly burned through and it doesn't have much of a replayability factor. However, there's a simple fix: More Content. There are still many literary tropes this game has yet to touch on and wouldn't take much more than a simple update. Once they start adding more content, this can be turned into a five-star review.
It’s so rare to see any new ideas in games on the App Store. How dare anyone give this anything less than a five star review? It was fantastic and fun. Sure, if you’re trying to 100% the game, the page navigation at the end is kind of annoying. But if you’re having so much fun that you want to 100% the game, doesn’t that say something in itself? I’ve never seen a puzzle game with this concept before. clever and funny! I finished it in 2 days and wish it was 10x as long.
See I loved the game and the overall idea of how to play. I didn’t appreciate all of the mocking Christianity though. The game makes it seem like the judgement is the bad thing. Then after you defeat all of the levels it creates a 666 level and then adds a devil? Now the overall game is really fun and honestly I can get behind the whole judgment thing (except the level where a man shoots it; that is no okay) but I and a lot of other Christians would appreciate if you changed the whole devil thing. Maybe switching it to just be marked as “villain” would be better?
The actual gameplay and puzzle part is almost perfect. It’s just so much fun and really challenges me. However the user experience is less than ideal. Sometimes I’ll just randomly jump to the next page, there’s no clear indication of where to tap to move to the next page, and no good way to effectively move from chapter to chapter. Early on I managed to go from chapter 2 to chapter 10 by accident. All it needs is a UI update and I’ll give this 5 starts
I loved playing this game my main critique is that I think it should have even more levels because I was able to quickly finish within a few days even getting all of the stamps other than that my only other critique is maybe because some of the levels are harder than others maybe there could be some hints so that it doesn’t feel like your cheating because you have to search it up
This game was so entertaining. After completing all the chapters, I started to freak out thinking the game was over. But when I realized there were other alternative endings, I was excited. And even after that, there was one last secret. It made me think a lot about how to change viewpoints to get the achievements. But it was so much fun. I couldn’t wait and finished everything already. I wish there were more chapters to this. 5/5 Recommended 👌
I beat the game and it’s super fun. I even did the devil ones. but now the game isn’t even fun anymore because I got all the stickers. I’ve basically finish the game and I want to keep playing it because it’s so fun so can you please add another update with maybe another chapter or like a another story so you can do even more puzzles or maybe there should be like a second game or it’s a different book with different puzzles. It needs to be updated please!!!!!
Finally something different from other mobile games. It’s very silly too an made me laugh a lot! Did drive me bonkers trying to figure the stories out. I love that you don’t have to spend money in the game to play etc Seems like every game now of days goes off real time and energy etc. it was really nice to be able to just binge play the whole thing in one siting! Please come out with more stories!!!!
i like this game a lot, but why am i able to turn off the music and the narrator but not the sound effects????? it makes it impossible to listen to music and play the game, which is the entire reason i turned off the music and the narrator in the first place. why give those options if you can’t turn all sound off???? just seems like an oversight and it’s making me so angry that i stopped playing.
Gameplay is simple but fun and effective for those who want to unlock all achievements or just run through what the game had to offer. I love the small detailed look of the game and how fluid and seamless the transitions are. Puzzles do get pretty difficult towards the end so it’s not just an easy play through game even though I finished in a week.. That’s just how fun it was! PLEASE MAKE MORE LEVELS!! Love this game!
I absolutely love this game, it is amazing! I never actually leave a review on games but since I liked this so much this game deserves one. I’m actually kinda sad that I finished it. I wish there was more, I hope there is a Storyteller 2 honestly. Even though it was a little challenge I loved it. I also lied the art style and the creativity, I also like how the story changes depending on what you put. This game is the best I have ever played.
This game blew me away. I didn’t know what to expect going in, but was sucked in almost immediately. You “fill in the blanks” to make a story, but each change completely changes the outcome. The goal is to make a story that fits each title, and gets progressively harder over the course of 13 chapters and an epilogue. It was truly the best game I’ve played this year. Highly recommend if you enjoy puzzles.
I honestly love the game since I played the demo on my computer, I’ve finished all the devil levels and regular levels, and are now looking for the secret stamps. The only problem is that I wish their was a freestyle option (maybe after you 100% the game?) that allows you to have an infinite amount of scenes, all of the tiles, and characters. Otherwise the game is great, I love the concept of it!
I enjoyed this game so much. It wasn’t what I expected! I don’t understand why people would give it less than 5 stars because they completed it and wanted more. Yes I wanted more too and I didn’t complete the bonus level because I didn’t want to go back but it was so much fun can’t wait for more!! You won’t regret it! I’ve never played a game like this before
This is an amazing game but it is too short. There should be a second book. There could be things like Little Red Riding Hood, Gingerbread man, Three Little Piggies, and other fairy tales. Maybe instead of a Devil that makes things worse, there could be an Angel that makes things better. I don’t know. You’re the experts. I hope you take my ideas into consideration.
There’s nothing else like this puzzle game. Really enjoy it. Hope for more levels! And I think it’s ridiculous that people are complainers they need a Netflix account to get this game and leaving bad reviews. Maybe the game should have an option for people to pay just for the game without needing to be subscribed to Netflix? But then again, it’s a game through Netflix. So…. Yeah.
I’ve read the feedback others have given and i 100% agree with them. The game is refreshing, fun with the extra stories that the stamps and devil give. I would love it if the game kept on going, I didn’t even know Netflix had games until I found out about this one. Maybe do stories on fairytales and mythology? Collabs with other companies?
It’s an interesting puzzle game with some good challenges sprinkled amongst the common quick solves. The main issue is once you become engaged, they switch from things like Edgar Allen Poe and British nobility/history to making it an attack on Christianity. So if you’re already self-righteous and hate Christianity then you might still love this game. If you are at least fair and balanced, you will be as disgusted as I was to see them trying to preach through not-so-subtle manipulations like the creation account in Genesis (in a chapter named Genesis) and then how “friedrich” (as in Friedrich Nietzsche) “kills God” It’s ridiculous and a complete waste of time to make a puzzle game that espouses the creative team’s personal issues. I would have given it one star but that would have been overkill and honestly untrue as the concept, art, etc are enjoyable before that point.
I first saw this game on a video, it looked very fun so I decided to download it. This game is funny and makes you think out of the box, I will like this game so much. Usually games have adds and makes you buy stuff but this doesn’t have any of those! If you are looking for a challenging game that will make you think outside of the box this game is for you! I love this game very much!🫶🏼
so at first I enjoyed the game, i loved the fun riddles and the fun scenarios it provided. there are problems though, like how it doesn’t save your progress at random times, and u have to redo the puzzle u just did like what. it also drains ur battery pretty fast so I wouldn’t recommend playing it a lot. it’s frustrating how it doesn’t save at the most random times, whether you are connected to wifi or not. loved the game but the flaws definitely need to be fixed lol
I just completed the game 100% and I have to say it’s amazing. I love how it’s a puzzle game that tells you story with out words, but you can still understand what’s going on. One of my favorite parts is how you need to know that characters have their own personality which results in them responding to actions differently. All in all I see this a a good puzzle game to play.
This game is perfect and it’s not that bad, my kids love it, the only thing is just a drip of blood that you can barely see. And it’s supposed to be fun for everyone…well… except for younger kids like 4 years old. And it’s like a fairy tale! I approve of this game and I think it’s awesome! And it only says 13+ because kissing/poison/dead/ghost. And the kissing is fine, so you should totally get it!
One of the greatest games I’ve played for a while, found myself staying up late without noticing.. I only wish there were more levels.. It’s super smart, witty, and makes you think outside the box more often than not with the plot twists you create along the way.. Loved every second of it
This is literally the game I have been looking for. I waited FOREVER for it to come to IOS and I am so surprised that it is the same as PC! This game is breathtaking by how smooth the animation is and how challenging it is! Although there are a few tiny flaws, this is the game I would play for the rest of my life if it had infinite levels. You have my attention Netflix!❤️❤️❤️
I really love this game, it was really fun to play. There was a lot of different scenarios. It was fun how when it said the end it actually wasn’t the end. I’m a little sad though cause I finished the game in two days. I wish there was more than just that they’re definitely needs to be a new book for Storyteller or it needs to keep going.
Initially, I was very excited to play this game based on its positive reviews and charming style. So, I downloaded the app only for my excitement to fade into disappointment once I was hit with a Netflix sign in preventing me from enjoying what would be a wonderful game. It is incredibly frustrating that I had downloaded a Netflix game unknowingly. I and many others would have appreciated being told beforehand that this game requires your Netflix account. It’s a shame that a lack of a subscription could put such a damper on this game.
The gameplay is completely original, entertaining, and unique. 10/10 I’ve been following this game for about 10 years, always wondered why Danielben didn’t make it available. Now that I see the polished final product, I can see how the earlier versions were just prototypes. It’s incredible!
This game had me hooked for hours, I mean it is so interesting, fun, and it challenges you to think “out of the box” Once I downloaded this app I could not stop playing it! Once I finished all levels (chapters) I replayed them, they are so fun, and it is a bit of drama and I LOVE it! I really enjoyed this game, and I think it challenged me in the best way possible!
I have wanted to play this on my switch since I heard about it but I didn’t want to pay money for a game that was that short. So when I found out about it on my phone I was super hyped. It was fun for a little till I got to chapter 5, scorn. I can’t finish it. No matter what I do nothing happens. Please fix this. I don’t know whether it’s me or the game but I’ve tried every combination.
I am writing to express my frustration regarding the requirement of a Netflix subscription to access this game. I was enthusiastic about the game and promptly downloaded it, only to discover that a Netflix account and subscription is necessary to play. This requirement was not clearly communicated, and had I been aware, I would have not downloaded it. I am unwilling to support Netflix or incur the monthly fee of $13 for a subscription. While the game itself appears engaging and promising, the forced subscription model imposed by the company is both disappointing and frustrating.
As far as puzzles go, this is a relatively simple game, yet, the art style, the concept, and a little bit of that dark humor makes up for it in spades! If you are looking for a relaxing puzzle game to do, say, between chores or before bed, this is the perfect companion. I'm looking forward to future iterations of this idea of "storytelling" :)
I really loved this game and I’m so ready for the new chapters I really hope you guys can get to the new chapters soon because I finished this game a few months back and I would really appreciate it if you could make some new chapters for us and also you guys should make some chapters based off famous tv shows!
I only rated this 5 stars to get awareness, you reply to all the other reviews, why not the one stars? they’re really right you know, it’s crazy that you need to pay 14 dollars for a mobile game where you choose the events. It’s really unfair. Please listen better to your community.
Hi I love the game I unfortunately finished it but I really loved the drama and stuff and I really really want more characters and chapters cause like I think that will be super fun I also got it on Netflix outs not on the kids account or you can just look in the App Store but I do recommend this game is it hard but fun and funny I love it PLEASE MAKE MORE CHARACTERS AND CHAPTERS THO PLEASE and thank u 🙏 ps it’s also free 🆓
I really enjoyed the game, but for the extra achievements I had to hop between many different chapters/levels. I would not find this annoying if you didn’t have to wait for the page to turn before turning the next page. A bookmark for each chapter or a table of contents at the end would be much appreciated.
Took a while to get a hang of. It turned out that the game sent me to the last level, instead of the one after the tutorial. I felt like such an idiot that I could barely solve any of the puzzles. Once I figured out that I was on the hardest level, I felt better about myself. So there’s that bug and another that marks solved puzzles as unsolved.
The game was quite interesting and I had a fun time trying to recreate the story. However, the reason why i am giving three stars is because of how odd it was to see devil references after you have completed the original chapters. I deleted the game because I became uncomfortable. I did two of those levels and then deleted the game because it was no longer enjoyable. I wished this just consisted of fairytales.
I was reading the reviews while the game was downloading and saw you needed a Netflix account in order to play the game. I didn’t wanna believe it but it was true. The lengths Netflix will go to in order to get more subscribers is insane. If anyone else sees this I wanna take a moment to recommend “Please Touch the Art 2” its an amazingly well done game. The second one if free to play with no ads but if you want to play the first on its $3.99 as of right now. Again, deeply saddened that I couldn't even play this game. Do better Netflix.
