I've tried all the apps organizing my reoccurring bills. I reconcile everything in Quiken, but I am starting to use this just to keep all the subcriptions in one place. This one does it the best. Only has the features I need. THE ONLY thing I would ask the dev is to please allow higher resolution images in the thumbnail. It seems that when I apply a decent image with good resolution, it gets a little pixelated in the list view.
Good stuff - pleasant to use, generally intuitive, the analytics provide all the good month and year breakdowns by category and date. One more thing I would like is to be able to see a month's cost including all yearlies (broken down into monthly chunks). Right now the app shows what you will literally have to spend - I.e. If you've already paid a yearly, it won't show in a month report until it is due again at which point it will show a whole year's payment. This makes sense and shows you what you will have to spend in the future which is useful, but I'd also love to see generally what I'm paying per month for ALL the non-archived subs.
Thank you to the Dev for making this, great and simple app to track your subscriptions. There are a couple of things I’d add, but that’s just my personal preference: - Ability to change the default reminder period (now it’s always 1 day in advance) - Search/type Emoji, when creating a Custom Subscription, would make it easier to assign the desired Emoji for it Thanks again, great job 👏
Love the simplicity and ease of use. I just wish there was a field to mark which account or card is paying for each subscription so it's easy to update cards when they expire. Don't fill it up with a bunch of junk and extra features that aren't need, just maybe one additional field.
I like the app so far, but it seems to focus on a slightly different use case than mine. I don’t really care about due dates, categories, start dates, renewals, or reminders. Instead, I would like the app to show me the *prorated” cost of each subscription. Convert them to the same currency and same length of time. This is extremely important information to help me understand the true cost of each item and determine if it’s worth it. Don’t make category a required field. I don’t need it. It’s just an annoying step that I can’t skip and a waste of time while entering every single subscription. Please make it optional. Oh, and thank you for making both iOS and macOS versions! Entering data on the Mac is so much easier.
Simple, clean beautiful UI, many options to add for each subscription! Yes! Download it without hesitation! For the Dve, if you can add logos for more kinds of subscriptions like car insurance companies, car brands, social media, radio apps, and gaming.
After I installed the application, it functioned just long enough for me to enter all of my subscription data. And then it crashed. When I reopened, it crashed again. Lather-rinse-repeat a few times, until finally the application opened... only to hang, with a pinwheel-of-death, requiring me to force-quit. Literally the only way I could return the app to functioning is to uninstall it, restart my Mac, and then reinstall it. And then it worked for a day, before starting the crash-and-hang pattern again. This app is absolute trash. Do not waste your time.
Why the lifetime subscription has the same notification logic with the ones with monthly/yearly cycle? Could we just disable that by default just for those lieftime subscription items?
This app does exactly what it should and does it well. No “AI” trying to guess at things and doing a horrible job. Great price, uncluttered interface. The analytics are also really nice to have.
Installed the App in the light of all the acclaimed good features. While trying to add my first Subscription the App froze and had to be forcefully closed. Every relaunch since led to a frozen App right away. Maybe the is an issue with the latest macOS version since the App'sa recent update is a while ago? Hope Developer can quickly fix this to let me revise my rating
Excellent App and very useful for anyone who has need of tracking LOTS of Subscriptions! I gave this a five🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Star-rating because of its GREAT features, stability, and its price!!! …Moreover, a ‘LIFETIME SUBSCRIPTION’ is less than $7BUCK$‼️
Analytics are off when you have stuff that doesn't auto-renew. Also, iCloud Sync does not seem to work for me on multiple devices. I like the simplicity of the app and will continue to update as these things get fixed.
The app helps me to track expenses at a monthly basis, but it's better if you can add some china-based public cloud platforms (e.g. alibabacloud, tencent cloud) comparing to those already exist (aws, azure).
Love this app for tracking subscriptions! Wish they had a few more already on the list of ones created but it’s definitely helpful and worth downloading!
Update 2022/11/19: I keep finding more to like about this app. Custom images/icons and archived subscriptions being the latest. Love it. I used Bobby previously but have had iCloud syncing problems with that app for multiple months now. Reached out to the dev twice and never heard anything back. A search for a replacement ultimately lead me to this fine app. Does the two things I need it to do: tracks subscriptions, and syncs across multiple devices w/out issue. As a bonus it looks nice too. Can't believe this thing is free!
No matter what start date you use, it always shows it as a current bill with whatever the next due date is. Which if that’s the app purpose fine but if they have the ability to mark paid and put in reoccurring items, how can you not show an open subscription that hasn’t yet been paid - for instance my 05/11 1Password declined and won’t actually be paid until Friday but I can’t input a date of 05/11 it automatically says next due 06/11 which isn’t true- this for me personally is a deal breaker on whether this app can even be considered a functional subscription tracker. Might fit those with super simple basic needs but I’m hoping to find something with a little more to it.
