Nice game but graphical problems cause headaches.

Okay, let’s begin with the pros of this game; first of all, the voice acting, cutscenes and gameplay are spot-on, the themes are rather clever and unoriginal, and character customization actually allows me to even play as a dark character if I want to which is a huge thumb-up that immediately kills any hints at racism as well in the mo. Controls aren’t too shabby, but they dan be somewhat unresponsive at times, which I think correlates with the graphical error as well in Chronicles. Even on the highest resolution, the graphical details mainly on the sprites and character faces, are still somewhat pixelated and the way the pixels fluctuate in the gameplay cause frequent headaches, almost as if it’s some sort of secret illusion trick. Want to keep playing Chronicles, but at the same time, I also don’t want to suffer from head trauma from the graphical issues if this problem isn’t fixed. Highly recommend if the devs fix this problem because this is an extremely elegant, well-developed mmorpg

There are no paywalls!

All of those other reviews complaining about paywalls have NO idea what they’re talking about. the only thing you need money to pay for in this game is monster aesthetics! everything else is obtainable without paying! you need a little patience, but i love that they even have a system in place to more easily get the 5 stars you want for upgrading your current ones! they have events come around all the time that just gives away a 5* AND you can get multiple copies of it!! Didn’t get enough copies? that’s fine! summoning blessing has your back! i stopped playing the old game because of how difficult it was to get the 5* characters, but there are literal permanent quests that you can do, and you can even get a Dark 5*! The quests are not difficult at all, all you have to do is upgrade a monster with materials that THEY GIVE TO YOU DURING THE QUEST!! Do you sometimes have to be strategic with your resources? YES, that’s the whole point of the game!! But I love the game because all of the resources are at your fingertips, you just have to prioritize what you want to do first!! Good luck and have fun summoners 🖤

Expensive

Played many games, used to be fan of Summoner War until my account stolen and got no help from company to get back, even though I had payment proof for it. Even though I spend thousands of dollar on the game to support. 3 years later I wanted to give a chance to play their game again. Game is good but there is a big problem. New server, summoned 50 scrolls one shot and got 0 5star hero! Summoned together 10 and 10 to make drop rate higher. Expensive packages, drop rate is unacceptable. Played MLA, and other popular games in the past. I m not sure, if I ll continue this one. I don’t want to waste my money on a game which focused just on money! There is no fun when you summon 50 times together and get nothing from it!!! Game is good but need changes on drops. Quality is disappointment for me, especially for someone like me who is QA Tester. I could expect better work. NPC settings are terrible! They keep saying same thing every quests. Summoner war quality is better! Game need a lot of improvement. Graphics quality is really bad. I feel like I am playing on Atari or saga! Well, time change Com2us!!! There are bugs need to be fixed! Concept of the game is great but taken from another game, I don’t remember the name now. I waited a month to see what Com2us achieved! I think, they could do better after having Summoner Wars survive for many years!

Free to play friendly and really fun!

Yes I have paid a good amount on the game but I’m coming to realize that a lot of the characters that are meta and used are handed to you and the pulls in the game are very generous. I’ve already pulled every element character 1-4 stars excluding some light and dark mons. And I’ve only been playing for not even a months span. Love this game and it’s contents. The balance of too little and too much in terms of grinding is perfect in this game. ONE thing I’m pretty disappointed in I would say is the audio. It’s sad to see voice acting only runs off a single line and they repeat that line forever no matter what they are actually saying. Would love to see what I’m reading be voice acted as well instead of hearing the same exact single line every time I talk to an NPC. SECOND the auto functionality could be a little smoother. I notice my character just standing around for minutes before doing actions and would love to see more options on the auto function. OVERALL an addicting fun game that I would recommend to almost anyone.

Pay walls galore

Starting off is awesome feels like a good game. Progression is good feels rewarding, until you get to mid game where you are forced to deviate from building a core team to waste resources on other mons to clear certain things. The only character that seems like that doesn’t matter as much on is the support character because you can heal your tank monster that you can get to 100k power long before your clef character will ever hit 100k. Runes are scarce, takes days to farm them, can only craft low-mid runes, and nothing to spend my 14k rune upgrade stones on. Their new battlefield mode is mediocre at best with the pay to win whales having an insane advantage (obviously) there is no tier or bracket system to put people into relative battle groups. Just be aware that this is a free to play perspective. I’ve pulled over 1k mystic scrolls, no LD nat 4 or above. Tons of decent monsters but never get duplicates. Have a core three star team that beat the game with 120k total BP. But beyond beating the game you will have to spend infinite hours of your life or your money to keep up with the pace of the game. It started out as fun but after leveling all three characters to level 50+ clef level 61 which is unrewarding in itself. The game has become boring.

It's honestly pretty good.

So let it be known that I am a returning player. When I first played this game, let's just say it needed a lot of work, and leave it at that. I'm glad to see plenty of improvement on the game itself. Combat is pretty smooth, graphics are very good, and the story so far is basic, but good. Just proves that you don't have to have some innovating story arc in order for your game to be entertaining. There are a couple things that I would like to see the developers change though. Firstly, I would like the ability to alter the size of certain buttons on the screen. The button to lock onto your enemies for instance is far too small in my opinion. If you gave us the ability to choose where buttons were placed and how big they were, then I believe you would get many more positive reviews based on the versatility of your game. Secondly, and perhaps there is a reason for this, but it annoys the heck out of me when every other second during combat I hear "not within range". Is there a way to turn that off? Because I haven't found it yet. And that was one of the major reasons why I quit the game the first time around. It's incredibly annoying to hear that every half a second while you're trying to focus on staying out of the red zones during a fight. Other than these two issues, I have no problem with the game. It's good fun, and a decent time eater. Keep up the good work.

Good game

Love the game and the auto quest and harvest features gives ya a chance to take your pet outside and let it do its thing without dying or getting kicked. Graphics are top notch for this style. You can play on your phone at work (at your own risk) and do the auto farming then jump on your pc when you get home. Great work dev team on multi platform playing. The game is fun, the characters are great and it’s not pay to win but, throwing a few bucks once in a while to help the devs keep it going and you get awesome outfits and or transmogrification options and or getting 5 star summons quicker. 4 stars (because nothing is perfect you’re just going to have to play and find out! I think you’ll like it.

Needs to be on console

Simply put this game needs a console port it would be a solid 4* game which for free to play is great MMOs on phones aren't nearly as enjoyable as on a larger screen Bleach Genshin and Tower of Fantasy are all on console there's no excuse to not be on the console you'd reach millions of customers willing to shovel money into an account because it's on a console and not on a tiny phone you would also probably see an increase in play time everyone talks about how these other games are dead I've played all the other summoners war games and the only one that seems to be popular is the original I do believe this game would be far more popular if it had a console port there are barely any MMOs on the console right now and all of them are old except tower of fantasy which is just meh 3* at best way too much pandering to weebs lol c'mon y'all get a good launcher together and give us all a console port for Xbox switch and ps5

Great MMORPG! Worth the wait

I played the first mmorpg com2us released called world of magic and I was supper pleased. As you started the game you got to choose between 2 factions “Siras” and “Lanos” the 2 factions are at war with each other and it made the game very competitive. PVP was a focus on that game and player kill was enabled in most maps where the factions could fight each other. it really gave you reason to manually grind your way up. With chronicles I feel they could have taken a little more inspiration from their own game… but I’m still super impressed! I had to get used to the whole “auto play” thing but now I love it. I hope they bring more game modes like a 3v3 where you can only bring 1 summon. There is lots of pvp fun that could be had, I’m curious what they will implement. Keep summoning :)

Have been playing since launch, not once have I pulled a light or nat 5* star

Kinda ridicouls I’ve never pulled a nat dark or light 5* monster in any of the summoner wars games! And I’ve played both since launch not even joining it just doesn’t get me to excited after not obtaining enough monsters and so many pay to win people are already so strong in the arena or battlefield there is no fairness at all they just kill you almost one or two hits! Game is fun until it isn’t, we all know it’s a grind and go game but it should invest into giving its community more 5 star light or dark monstersbcuz I’ve heard this rant from many folks and that is what they stop playing bcuz just getting normal 5star monsters just isn’t as appeasing as maybe 1 light or dark monster maybe every 4 months or so to say the least. Anyways, I’ll keep playing and hoping for luck but not for long I think.

Amazing game, just one big problem that has happened recently

Hello! I have been playing this game since it came out and it is one of the best games I have ever played, with an awesome storyline, diversity in types of teams, and so on, but I encountered a problem recently with my hive account that I wish to bring to the devs attention before I can happen to anyone else. All of my progress, since the game released, got erased from my hive account and put me to start over entirely. No problems with the game in any way, except with the account link problem I encountered. However, I would recommend this game to anyone and everyone who is interested in these types of games, for they will not be disappointed at all.

Fun F2P friendly game

Love everything about it from having a summoner be a character to still be Able to summon monsters just like the old Summoner War yet mmo style that I like more. 1 thing could be changed if that if I beat the full story mode and make second and 3rd summoner character you should be able auto run the first dungeons instead of doing them manual for 2nd and 3rd character play through. I would recommend it to any players new or old players who remember Summoner War and Summoner War Sky Arena. Keep up the great work and I love all the free stuff you guys always give out and events for everyone to enjoy not just those who love spending money. Can’t wait for you guys to add the Dragons to the game so I can summon them.

Lots of potential

If you like Neverland, Monster Super League and Summoner’s war/ any kind of mmorpg summoning games this is pretty good. I’m not too big on the automatic everything games because I feel like I’m not doing anything really but you have the option to battle manually too so it’s okay. The voice acting is adorable and they’re quite generous so far, though it’s the beginning so it may decrease as I power up. I’ll update again later after playing more to see if it’s truly F2P or not. Leaving 4 stars for now until I see how the game’s probability system goes and various other features I haven’t had the chance to toy with long enough to give a full fleshed out review for now.

Not balanced

This game is really beautiful and you can tell they put a lot of work into it but there are WAY to many elements to it and the scaling of the dungeons is way off. Once again ppl with money have gotten so far ahead it makes much of the play not even worth bothering. The skills seem off as well like none of them last for long enough. While playing you're having to dodge, use skills keep track of monsters while the orientation of the screen is fixed in weird position and opponents and obstacles are flying all around the play arenas and that makes it nearly impossible to keep track of everything. Good luck getting any monsters to max bc it costs an insane amount of gold, monster pieces and an materials and the especially the gold that can be earned is given in tiny amounts.

Good game

It’s a vast improvement over the last game, but still too many old characters,yes game play is fun and exciting, but I wanted a ton of new norm ,reg , rares, not all the old starters, and brand characters, at least not to start with, questing and lvling is fun, rewards are there also I actually enjoy the pvp in game, tower is a vast improvement over the old er games, runes was better in the last game 5 to 6 runes is still a bit obsessive, gemming is great , world event friends needs a vast upgrade,world boss events should be more often say like every 6 hours or do a 2x weekly event. Summoner war is still one of the better games on the market, PLEASE STOP BEING LAZY ON CHARACTERS FOR FUTURE GAMES AND THIS ONE I WOULD LIKE TO ENJOY MY NORMS AND RARES A LITTLE MORE THIS GAME GIVES YOU THAT FREEDOM TO GO BAM POW ZOOIE AND BREAK THE INDUSTRY ONCE AGAIN AS THE BEST GAME MAKERS ON THE PLANET! Looks good but some mechanic flaws

Honestly the game looks great and brings a lot of your favorite monsters from summoners war sky arena. It is fun in its own way but has some mechanic flaws that ruin it. First a good number of monsters will do skill damage based on def or hp, which is great on paper but ends up lacking. This is due to basic attacks scaling on atk and skills having 20s+ cooldowns. Another concept is atk spd is completely niche for only select few monsters. It has no influence on skill cooldowns and is only for basic attacks, which then leads to it being a waste. Finally the rune method in game is pretty bad. You can only really farm up to 5 star runes while needing to craft 6 star. The runes also need a special material to upgrade which you burn through so quickly and takes quite a bit of time to gain more. It also ends up being a constant material gathering game because there are so many different materials for everything. The game has great potential but it needs to be simplified tremendously and some qol improvements. Then I would give it 4-5 stars. They also need to revamp the basic attacks of many monsters to reflect their kits.

Fun game!

But for some reason my sound for the game won’t play. Double checked in game sound settings and there’s no muted things or anything and my phone plays the sound of everything else fine so not sure what that’s all about. Also as far as character customization: it’d be nice to be able to change your hair color when you use a new hairstyle. My basic hair selection was pink and I wish that after changing it to the balancer set hair it could be changed back to the pink color. Maybe consider adding dye for hair and maybe even outfits?

Barely any nitpicks! So exciting!!!

I recently got to the summoning alter and I must say, all of the monster remodels look amazing!!! I’m starting to get my old team all together and they look stunning and fresh! I only have 2 tiny nitpicks tho. I feel like the AI voice can be very repetitive and annoying early game, and I feel like the evolutions for the monsters don’t give off the same kind of godly feel to them without that glow they get. But these are just a few little nitpicks but other then that the game is beautiful and props to you guys making this game !

Want to love it but…

The graphics unfortunately give me headaches. It feels like my perfect vision is blurry on any setting. I have not seen a game this bad on visuals…. Ever. I had a lot of friends already drop it just due to graphic issues. A big part of these games is playing with colleagues, so if you can’t provide an experience to keep groups of people interested the game will fail. The concept of the gameplay is good, RNG is ok considering there are a good amount of chances to get lucky for free or low dollar buys. The shop does have way too many options for packs that don’t seem to make sense to buy at all, but there are some that seem reasonable if you filter through it. I did expect more from the “brand name” to be honest.

Good RPG/Gacha

I have played just about every mobile RPG and gacha out there. Some for years and some for only a few days. This is still a new release so we will see how interesting it stays but first impressions are that this is a top notch game. Lot of fun, lot of missions and achievements, a lot of the items for sale as specifically rewards are good value, seems f2p friendly though I am not f2p. Good start Com2us but keep it going. Don't get cheap and too greedy. Keep letting us get 5* and keep the new missions and updates fresh and we will keep playing.

It’s good but…

It’s a nice game. It’s new so that’s why it’s fun to play right now. Most things you just auto so not much interaction like a traditional mmorpg. Rates are horrible. Least for my account. I have over 200 mystics summoned and no nat5. My brother on the other hand has roughly the same amount summoned and has 7 nat5 summoned. Com2Us has preset account rates once the account is created. Just like in Summoners War Sky Arena. I. Chronicles they do bombard you with a ton of ads for pack purchases tho. I guess they need to make their money back after their NFT fail. But overall the game is fun to play outside of the horrible account rates I have been experiencing. As with all Summoners War games it’s all about the whales and how much you whale.

Nostalgic

This game feels like a cross between epic seven and maple story type of game, either way, it makes me feel kind of nostalgic as I loved these kind of games when I was younger back in early 2000’s. Some people won’t like it much, as it is not really up to par with current standard of expectations, but I personally like it. The game is very pay 2 win, but it is also free 2 play friendly, just don’t expect to be in the top ranks. You have to summon same or similar monsters to level them up and fully awaken them, so good luck if you happened to summon an LD5. (Light or Dark Natural 5* monster).

Not bad.

Not the best game on mobile right now but enjoyable and different viewpoint of summoners war sky arena. Love the depth and effort put in. Wish the controls were a bit more responsive. Graphics could be better but they are fine. The animated scenes 10\10. Too bad the majority of people who play this game and leave reviews are ridiculous low lives. Good job Com2us enjoying the game and haven’t spent a penny. Plenty of nat5s too :)

It’s almost as if it wasn’t made by com2us

Coming from 5+ years of playing Sky Arena and as someone who despised Lost Centuria this game has been such a breath of fresh air. The graphics are fantastic, the concept is great, there is a pity system unlike Sky Arena and monsters are easier to get. This game is also a lot more free to play friendly even though there are heavy paid packs you can buy, if you choose to, you get more for your money. So far, I really don’t have anything significant to complain about.

Best MMORPG

it’s previous generation “sky arena” was a mere pawn compared to this new open world versatile version of itself. It has so much more and such a better progression and fighting system that it would keep you entertained for a very long time, but don’t forget to take very brief and consistent breaks if you’re going to be sitting there destroying your health all day just to progress in a game get over yourself. Grind for a few then go get some sun, your life has purpose inside and outside of this game so get to it!

Disappointing

The gameplay is actually good, however this game is not like the original game (Summoners war) in terms of rarity. They just hand out 5 stars in this game like they’re nothing and they’ve lost all their value because of it. Earn them in events or pay money for a battle pass to get pieces for one. Also light and dark monsters can be summoned from regular mystical scrolls which makes light and darks less meaningful too. Sure in summoners war it might be annoying to not get the monster you want or go forever without getting a nat 5 or ld spark, but when you actually do get one it makes it feel actually important and worth the time.

Love it, but could use a few tweaks

It’s beautiful designed, the story is cool the only changes to when u picks orbias outfit it should give u the outfit u chose, for me it did not, certain glitches like sound cutting out and where the characters repeat certain phrases when you go up to them but the words are different are not a difficult fix, I’m honestly super impressed any issues that may be on there are so minor it really ain’t a big deal

Wow since day one I was ready to play this game like other mmos I was shocked this one was an mmorpg gacha game I just got archangel it was great the game graphics feels like Ni no kuni can u try to fix the frame rate and add 60 fps in the game it feels like summoners war but from ur pov the way the game works is very thrilling I like how y’all do each game in a different world this game made me care (l a lot) this felt so wonderus and vivid I like how the devs made the story and the characters bruh this game is Soo good thx devs✨⚡️✨=)

Game crashes too much

I have loved this game since release, but more recent updates have made it nearly unplayable on the phone. Unlike the original summer’s war: sky arena, this team is very generous in regards to summing, 5 stars, and materials to upgrade them. However, you can’t enjoy any of these features without risk of crashing. Group events are nearly unrewarding since you crash at rewarding time. You can crash upgrading, selecting monsters, and doing seemingly non-strenuous tasks in the game. Only the computer version of this game seems to be more stable, but playing on the go seems to be a non-viable option unless Com2Us does something.

My First Review Ever

I will say this game is gotcha game but it’s 100% free to play friendly as they offer you everything you need to keep up. Think of it like this Paying will keep you at a jogging pace F2P will be a marathon but you will get everything with time. Overall game is amazing and needs to be given a chance. I see a lot of people complaining how you need to spend money to play and that is unbelievable false

Solid

I’m really enjoying myself so far. I have been playing f2p and was able to beat the game pretty easily with 3* heros. It would be expensive or take a long time to max a 5*. I’m giving it 5 stars because I’ve had a lot of fun playing, but I’ve hit a wall. As far as drop rates go mine have been fine I have about 12 nat 5*s f2p, but I don’t use them because I don’t have the resources to max them out like the 3*s.

Unexpected

Honestly wasn’t expecting a open world mmo title with this series, honestly pretty fun to play and honestly performa pretty good for a phone mmo. I think you should try to port to console too or pc unless it’s already there, but otherwise I’m sold. I think I’m going to enjoy this. Playing as your summoner and fighting in a open world was a cool idea, though in my opinion I wish the summoners classes weren’t locked to the type of race you pick.

Reminds me of Genshin Impact

It’s great. I play on my phone, haven’t tried connecting my ps4 remote to it yet, don’t know if it can do that or not but I know some games I play let me do that and I think it would be awesome if this games lets me play via Bluetooth with my ps4 or Xbox remote as well. I like that I got to do selective summon so I get to start out guaranteed with a nat5, I got water occult girl and she’s awesome! I’ll continue to play both summoners war and Chronicles!

My honest opinion

To start off, I’d like to say this game is exactly what I wanted out of Sky Arena! I know a common complaint is the massive amount of packs and such that offer massive boosts. However, I for one don’t mind them as most F2P players can reach just as high if not higher without said packs with just the base game. Would definitely suggest this game to anyone wanting a really solid MMORPG. The combat and pvp system are really nice to side with this.

Very entertaining

Since day one I have very much enjoyed this game and I find it to be a great step forward for Com2us series of Summoners War games. There is so much that you can do in the game. The graphics are great and progression is rewarding. I really like the fight style they give you as you can auto battle if you are busy with something else or you can control pretty much everything going on. Give this game a try!

Horrible management of game

Com2us treats NA servers as second rate. They give us less rewards then other servers, worse packs and still no account shop. they do not communicate with the vocal player base. Their discord mods and CMs go crazy with power and are banning people asking for change. they fixed the rewards for the new continent and said it was "set lower than intended." thats a horrible excuse for giving us different rewards that are quite substantial. more like "We've been caught, oppsies lets make up an excuse." im not spending anymore money and neither should you. new players dont try this game or buy anything. horrible company.

Pokemon/Genshin mix

Played for a couple hours now and the game has a lot of similarities between genshin and pokemon. Not a bad thing however this game has a lot of potential! HOWEVER, in the beginning of the game you can choose and customize your character and you can change into 4 different costumes. But when actually playing, my character ended up having the same beginner clothes and the only thing that changed was the hair. Terrible glitch and I really wish the game devs fix this issue.

5/5 so much potential

There is so much to do in this free to play game it is insane. Crafting, fishing, dungeons, raids, a solid story, mining, gathering, a world market, and the SUMMONS. I can imagine this game feels bad if you don’t hit any nat 5s but there are so many that have been given out so far and hopefully more to come. Great job guys thank you. Hoping that one day we get our own sky islands that we can customize and have friends visit

Great Game with 1 issue

Summoners War Chronicles is honestly well rounded, coming from an MMO vet of 15 years… Not overtly P2W. You can still progress. 5 star heros aren’t Too rare for f2p players.. The only problem i have - THERE IS WAY TOO REWARDS TO CLAIM. I spend 20-30 minutes just claiming rewards and it takes away from the gameplay experience. Please put them all in once place or reduce the amount of “Claim All” that i have to do. Thank you .

Pretty good game!

So, this game is pretty good. The stories, characters, character boosts, dungeons, and more are great! I wish that the graphics weren’t automatic for a low-graphic device but I could understand why. Some funny things in the game like the random voice-acting while it says something else is actually clever. This game deserves my 5 star because why not? ⭐️

Awesome but a little confusing

I really love this game; it has a really open world, original, and overall one of the best games I’ve played. However, I got stuck on the part where you have to upgrade your monster/pet, and I have no idea how to do it. It’s really confusing. Can you please add some basic instructions on how to do that? I’ve been trying for a really long time. Thanks!

Games worth playing

You can f2p this and have plenty of fun. PvP may get difficult but even if you pay it’s still challenging. The game crashes on my phone during pvp or world bosses but that might be my phone giving up on me. Give this game a try, if you like mmorpgs and collecting monsters and leveling them up this game is up there.

Good…but

Im a long time Summoner War player, what I dont get about this game is, its like you dont want us to play very long, because you cant really farm escences to awaken and evolve monsters since you can only do them 3 x per day, so ya do all ya can, then what? Great casual game

Beautiful design, I’ve been playing for a few hours now. I like the character creation and the diversity of skin tones. I love how you’re season passes aren’t over the top. The game plays well. I can either auto or manually take control while in combat which is pretty good. Overall I’m having a good time playing, it’s simple and fun.

cute and easy to play... TERRIBLE drop rates

first, NOT copy of genshin. NOTHING like genshin. FAR better than genshin. f2p friendly. nice graphics, easy game play, however, worst drop rates of any gacha/rpg! i am a paying whale player, but will not waste my money here. true drop rate .0007 for 5 star. ... not making that up. many players been sending for weeks never got 5 star. cute mmo for f2p... but if you like spending and summoning, go to one of the 100 better summoning games.

One suggestion for controller players

The controller once going on auto loses function unless you touch the menu screen by tapping it. The auto target function doesn’t have a hover key like “R3”. Just a few things I’ll tell if more. Also don’t see a way to change monsters with the hover key also

This Game Has Kept Me Alive

Honestly. I been playing over a year now and still haven’t completed the main story as a F2P. They’re always adding new content and even have another island to open once you complete the main story. The graphics are amazing better than any other F2P game out there. I play PC I Love it here !! DRAGONS FAIRIES CUTE OUTFITS FARMING FIGHTING OPEN WORLD WHATS NOT TO LOVE ?!?

All Time SW player!

I played sky arena over last 4-5 years. You guys need to make the game little more easier for First time players. Give the analysis stats and tune ideas for new players so it’s easier to build the monsters for people who have never played. Other then that solid game! -PS add more monsters!
