The app goes down ALL the time. Every part of this bank has went mobile for the most part. Not only you can’t check your balances or make transfers but neither can they. When the app is down the actual bank is too and they can’t even access your money. At this point it’s time to move my account to a more reliable bank and I have been with this bank for 20+ years!
**Updating review** If I could give this app zero stars, I would! I’m so frustrated with this banking app!! Since the most recent update, it says “network error” every single time I try to log on to check my account. I can’t even use the actual banking website to log on to check anything. This bank is starting to be a joke. The team who created the mobile app really missed the mark on this update. Please fix it SOON. This new app is absolutely terrible! The version previous to this was easier to navigate, and I could deal with it better even though it always stalled or force quit. Please do something about this. Customers are relying way too much on this app for it to be almost useless.
I’ve been with this bank for multiple years and it has been the most aggravating experience when trying to use the app or contact anyone other than calling the branch locations; who will then tell you that they can’t fix the issue and you have to be patient. They have no social media presence anymore because how crap their customer service is and constant issues. Safe to stay away from this bank, because #LocalBuisness never help anyone but themselves.
The previous version was MUCH more user friendly and you didn't have to key in password every time you open it because it used facial recognition. And now you have to answer security questions for EVERYTHING. For what? 🤷🏻♀️ I already keyed the password in. 🙄 Not liking this at all. Nothing but frustration.
Always network error…. Always doing updates to app during the busy hours of the day. Always having to go by the bank to see how much is in my account. Might be switching banks soon
This may be the worst bank application O’ve ever used. The most issues out of any other one I’ve had. Almost over half the time you cannot even access your own account.
App doesn’t work most of the time. The more it’s “updated” and “fixed”, the less it works. Please just fix it and leave it alone. Haven’t been able to login in days.
This app could be useful but it seems like when you want to login. It claims your credentials are wrong about 2-3 times then magically logs you in anyways. And the Face ID unlock feature just causes the app to instantly shut down. I wouldn’t be paying my developer anything if they aren’t going to do their job properly. Like keep the app up to date with the new softwares being released through cellular devices. Especially when it could benefit your business in the long run.
I use the app to check on my loans. Since day one I’ve had no problem logging in with my Face ID. Every now and then my app freezes but never for long. They have added the cloud deposit back to the app and pleased to have it back. All in all I like the new face of the app. Works like my other banking apps 👍🏾
Been a member for many years and moved but kept the account there since all I really needed access to was the app to deposit checks remotely. This app was years old and outdated but served its purpose. Cut to this year and a new update rolls out along with a new app. Great I think should be even more streamlined. New app has terrible user interface and took away the option to deposit checks through the cloud. Why even update? Looks like I’ll be moving banks after all.
The previous version was MUCH better. This version doesn't allow you to use faceid. You have to type in your password AND an answer a security question every log in. I do not have the amount of money to merit this level of security! Does not show holds or pending purchases either. The app is not user friendly or aesthetically pleasing.
I have been with Central Sunbelt for YEARS! And this update has to be the worst! I have been trying to log into my account for 6 hours. Talked to someone 4 times and the authentication process is still not completed! I have changed my password three times! Absolutely ridiculous! Please fix it I need to access my account to pay bills
This app is horrible. I can’t even check my account. I have tried to log in multiple times using the credentials the bank provided. I am prompted to change my password but only a white screen comes up. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it twice but, to no avail. This is ridiculous.
It took you people years to get an app that even covered a modern iPhone screen. Now that you have, it doesn’t even cover mobile deposit. How about we try to compete with the rest of the banks? This is an embarrassment. Whoever you are hiring for digital consulting should be fired. I’d rather bank with someone who is at least relevant to this decade.
I have not been able to log into my account. It’s constantly saying that the password I’ve been using for 3 years is incorrect. I changed the password and now it’s saying it cannot authenticate my account. I’ve been trying to sign in for hours with no avail. BRING BACK THE OLD APP!!!
New update is horrible. Can’t use Face ID! Harder to navigate. If that’s the best they could come up with then they should have left it alone. One of their slogans is it’s time to switch…. This app will make you want to switch to another credit union. Deserves zero stars
This version of the app is terrible. Difficult to use and navigate. Does not show pending items which I do not like. It will only show an available balance and it takes forever to post purchases.
The app gets one star because I can’t give it zero. I’ve been a member with SFCU for about 10 years and it’s been going downhill ever since. Looking for another bank now, maybe customer service will actually do what they’re paid to do.
It’s like every time they have a somewhat decent app they update and it just goes down the drain. Always saying that the user is doing something wrong.. just a little bit of advice if your app is not ready don’t release it smdh🤦🏻♀️
Please go back to the old version of the app. This new one is terrible! I can’t see the holds on my account!!! It very hard to manage your account on an app that can’t let u so much of anything! This is terrible please fix it!
Smh this update is trash! Should've left things the way they were. Can’t even log in without authentication errors because the app is not fully complete as far as the update. It’s Just horrible !
Is this what we waited for to have an app that isn’t even mobile friendly? This app is not user friendly and is pure garbage! Bring back the last app at least! I’m Pulling out every dime and going elsewhere! A better bank with good customer service!
If I could give ZERO stars I would. Update is terrible. I use to be able to use fingerprint I'd and now I have to type my password in and answer security questions. Called Sunbelt and they claim they never had fingerprint ID. RIDICULOUS!!!
This is the worst update ever! The only way I can get into my account is to go directly to the bank! This is crap! Every time y’all update your raggedy system, it’s worst than before! This is a load of bull!
I live in McComb and am satisfied with this credit union but I must say this app is crap. I can’t believe the developers can’t do a better job than this. Maybe they should hire a thirteen year old to fix it for them.
App is not streamlined. Feels “clunky” and just thrown together. Not easy to find what I am looking for. Can’t see pending deposits or transactions easily...I can’t see them at all. Hard to follow. No mobile check deposit. Unimpressive app with lots to be desired.
THIS IS THE WORSE BANK! They have the most technical system issues! The system constantly goes down so therefore you cannot access your funds when needed. STOP PLAYING W THE SYSTEM!
The app is so cluttered and it’s hard to find everything. Log-In is not as easy as the old app where only a PIN was required. I’m sorry, but I do not like the new setup. It’s not easy to use.

I can NEVER log in to my account, making money transfer impossible. Thinking about moving my money to Navy Federal. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Come up with something else cause this ain’t it! I hate I had to give it 1 star, cause that is overrated
Interface is too busy. I have to answer a security question with each login??? I can no longer transfer money to family without using PayPal? Nope. Nope. Nope. It was so easy to use before. Why?!?
today is july 13, 2022. i have no idea why it was updated if it wasn't ready but i've changed my password multiple times and it still won't let me log in.
