So far so good, only feedback I have is can you guys make it easier to modify the orders. Either you guys have it and I still haven’t figured out how to exactly do that. But other than that. I like the app and how I can walk around the restaurant putting in my order. You guys can pat yourself’s in the back.
For the most part the system is straight forward. Run into a couple bugs, which have been resolved. Poor execution on training customers how to use, I still don’t know how to delete items, add items without making a whole new list. With the sales person being somewhat removed, I don’t get to see new items or food trends or alternative items that could save me money on my food costs. On the negative, items have been remove from inventory that I need and no communication on sub. Items which leaves me looking to other purveyors. My 2 cents...
Only my second week using the app and at the submit order screen it never finished loading. I’ve switch from work wifi to phone data and back with the same result. So I went home where my at home wifi is super fast, same issue. Only with the Sysco app by the way. Nothing else on the phone is lagging at all. Frustrating not being able to submit the order after filling the whole thing out. Hope they put the money into this app to make it function correctly eventually because outside of this issue it’s very handy.
I love the ability to shop online but the search feature needs to be tweaked. You search for a specific item and it pulls up hundreds of things that aren’t even close to your search creating wasted time scrolling through unnecessary product to find the one item you are wanting. This is where you are thankful for a knowledgeable sales rep who can help you weed through or knows the product and can tell you a number to look for
This app used to be awesome. Since the new update I am constantly missing item I think I ordered. The app used to have 2 different buttons one for case and one for splits. Now it’s one button that pops up as 2. The issue here is the phone vibrates and if you are not paying careful attention you think you inputed 1 case when you actually did nothing. It has been 4 weeks now, I keep missing items on my truck I think I ordered. I’m trying to be as careful as possible however when I’m ordering over 100 cases per order, I keep missing things. I’m sure I can’t be the only one, please change this. We run out of product, look bad to our customers and then have to get a small truck with missed items. I will update rating when a change is made, thank you for your support.
Being a professional chef I am working at my restaurant between 60-80 hours a week puts quite the strain on my marriage so being able to do my order on the go let’s me spend more time with my wife and kids. So thank you.
It's a great update. The app is very user friendly and helpful. The fact that you actually see the product you are ordering it's amazing. The search bar makes it easier to navigate through the products you're looking for. Great job, Sysco.
I Love the convienence of Being able to order on my phone any time and anywhere I run a tight schedule between two kitchens and most of my free time is at night and being able to shop and browse on my time is so helpful
Can it get any worse? Constant crashes. A landscape window surrounded by useless white space. 4 clicks when 1 would do. Can’t see last price paid. Can’t see default delivery date until order is submitted. Lag time in confirmation after submitting. Between this and the ridiculously awful check deposit app I have to wonder who is making the IT decisions at Sysco, and what the rationale is for making a difficult job even harder. Terrible App.
Whatever you all did recently doesn’t work. Totally slow and buggy. Shakes back and forth. Doesn’t let me enter order into certain items. Never had all the nutrition info or ingredient lists or allergy info on anything. Totally worthless and online (desktop) shop is only way to order now, but isn’t much better than just a little more stable. Get it together it is almost 2020 and you’re IT is behind your much smaller competitors. Not helpful at all!!!!
I can finally walk around with my phone and quickly submit orders. No more clipboards! Through purchase history and customized lists I can quickly find and order what I need.
For the dollar amount we spend weekly id expect this app not to lag as much as it does. I have to close this app frequently throughout my ordering because it lags so much, i click on one thing "lag," i add the item i want, "lag." I know it's not our tablet because we bought it brand new and use it mostly for ordering.
I really would love to be able to zoom in on the photos of the items to see more detail - as a kosher consumer it’s essential to see if the package has a kosher certification and it’s not always evident from the thumbnail.
Even after this last update, still won’t load the information about the products when you click on it, Page pulls up but it’s blank and just keeps circling. This is on iOS and my iPhone.
This app is good for the most part but there’s a last-minute upsell page in the form of a “did you forget something” prompt. It’s placed right after you submit your order. I submitted an order and then received a message from my rep the next day telling me that my order was still open. This is an issue on the website as well. Remove this prompt immediately.
Would like it if you would bring back the plus and minus option when ordering like SMX had. Love that the ordering box is now on the left hand side now so I don’t accidentally order something when scrolling with my right hand.
Difficult to search for items because it seems the name of the item has to be so specific. I always have to call my rep to find products I never seem to know what names to call items
Can’t modify a pre dated order. I set an order yesterday to remind me to order. When I try to change the items on the order, I must delete the whole dang order and start over. Ridiculous 😎
Love this app! When I need an item, I just add it to my cart and move on with my busy day. This app really opens up the possibilities of finding more quality products that SYSCO provides!
It’s hard to search products, app has no predictive text. By not having this it makes you search products by its exact name, which makes the ordering process more difficult and time consuming.
Best step I have made using this app! Now I do not need to go into work to so ordering I can do it at home! Bravo to the creator of this app: simple, easy and a time management bonus!
Easy to use category searches. Great descriptions and pictures. All of this from Sysco who has the best quality and service in the industry. Very pleased
I use an older iPhone 7 and that doesent support ios 16 what is required with the latest sysco store App. So basically i cant see my previous orders and pricing anymore and cant order online!! No feedback on sysco!!! Well good thing my us food App is still loading on my phone… see ya
It’s very convenient and my sales rep is the best he is very educational and has trained me on how to use all your systems and how to use products that I never considered.
This feature is basically required to place an order and it doesn’t work, what’s annoying too is the update is required, so it’s required to break your functionality. This needs to be fixed asap.
This app has only gotten worse. I can’t search items, everytime I add an item from my already made list I have to close the app or it buffers for 60-90 seconds, half the time the order doesn’t actually synch
The app has been consistently not working correctly for the past 6 months or so. There’s always some issue with searching items or it not allowing me to submit my orders.
