4-Sellers: TCGplayer needs to add Quantity button on Upload page
I would love to rate it a 5 out of 5.. but the reason I gave it 3 out of 5 it’s on major critical issue the reason is when uploading to the seller portal with your inventory their is no Quantity to select so you have to go through a hurdle headache process to add quantity numbers each listing after each successful upload... so the annoying process is this 1) “successfully” upload your listing.. 2) you have to go into your seller account 3) search card name in “my inventory stock tab” 4) edit manage listing 5) edit quality from 1 to 4-playset- 5) save 6) exit seller account mode back to normal app (restart this whole process which is super long and laggy) it’s real headache to do this for every card that has more then 1 quantity... I made mistakes putting in wrong numbers and listing that never made it on the site that I thought got scan it. creates unrest issues when you have lot worth of cards **PLEASE add Quantity amount during the upload phase.. the upload page I’m describing is with requirements take photo, enter market set price & normal or foil then upload... it really needs Quantity amount button so it’s one and done process** thank you for reading!

Extremely helpful, but very buggy
As far as scanning cards go this is a great feature, but this frequently gets the set of scanned cards incorrect and correcting the set has to be done one-by-one, which is made even more time consuming on an IPhone X where the “x” to close card pages is hidden behind the time at the top left of these “notched” phones. I am also having an incredibly strange bug where I cannot read any of the settings for the app that contain an on and off slider. I can see the sliders in a list view in the options, but each row is completely blank so I cannot see what I am turning on and off. Searching in the normal TCGplayer website in this app is frustrating as well. The keyboard frequently shuts itself for no reason, loading seems to take ages in comparison to using the normal browser on my phone, and the layout of most pages still being exactly the same as desktop layout just zoomed out makes searching a complete nightmare, something that would likely be the reason most people download this app. All in all, this app’s potential is game-changing for those of us who sell cards. Scanning is second to none and I am hopeful for the ability to on the fly list scanned cards for sale without having to upload pictures. If even just some of these bugs are fixed this app would be outstanding for TCG players.

Could be the best, but…
There’s a stunning lack of features. Unlike most card scanner/collection apps you can’t seem to actually make a deck, just have various collections. If you want a big collection of all your cards, you cannot merge your various smaller collections, you just gotta start scanning from scratch. It really sticks out how feature-barren this app is. Furthermore the scanner is… very hit or miss. Mostly miss. I bought a precon mtg deck with 100% cards from the Commander Legends set. I had it on a white background, no glare, and this scanner was convinced that each card was from Khans of Tarkir. I had to manually go in and change the set each time, defeating most of the purpose of having a card scan function in the first place. It’s a shame, cuz honestly iOS card scanner apps are seriously lacking, you either get a good scanner and no features, or a good collection app with no scanner. With very little adjustment, this app could be the best on the appstore. But right now it’s just in the middle of the pack. At least it doesn’t charge you $5 a month to see your collection like some other apps do.

Ok, could be better.
My biggest complaint with this app is not being able to manage the cards i have for sale as smoothly as it should be. When I go to the seller portal, I expect to be able to see all the cards I have listed with the current info for those cards such as the currently listed price. As of now I have to go to sell, then click view active listings, which brings me to a page that lists every card in TCGPLAYER inventory and I have to click “my inventory” and then “search”. Then I can’t even quickly see the prices I have set at a glance. I have to click on the individual listing to see the price. That’s annoying. I want one click to bring me to my listings where I can see all of its details and then click on the listing if I want to edit it. I also really wish I could merge card lists. If I have two large lists that I scanned separately but want them together, I have to scan them all over again which can take forever if there’s a lot of cards.

fall short, just about everywhere
when I think of an application, I think of a self-contained app, not a website. If I wanted to visit the website, I could very easily just go visit the website. I don’t need you to embed a website in an app, and have it not track the fact that I’m signed in across all of its pages, require me to sign in every single time that I open, and the UI that does keep me signed in does not update the data correctly. this to me seems like something from the early 2000s that was just never updated properly, I would rather you make an actual app that is the app version of the website that I can sign into and actually remember my sign in for through closes, and not just be a glorified Web app shell of a website. i’m currently a fluttered developer, and I would encourage you for platform compatibility that you use flutter so you can have it across the marketplaces but in this current state, this is just a website that doesn’t have cookies or remember my password with a clunky shell. And I’m better off literally bookmarking the website in Safari and creating a desktop link then using this.

MAJOR BUG REPORT
Hi guys, issue with logging in on the mobile app. Major glitch IMO. When going to "Your account and more" via the "You" icon in the bottom right of the app window, the "Log In" option allows you to log in; however, it does so in an isolated browser window within the app. Once logged in (and after verifying email), you're logged in to a single web browser instance of the TCGplayer website — but you're still not logged into the app. Your only option, from there, is to hit the "X" in the top left corner. At that point, you're returned to the app, and in "Your Account and More" your only option is "Log in." It is an endless loop of fury. This is especially annoying considering I am LOGGED IN to the app when I go to “Shop”. I am a hobbyist/player/collector that was using this app to catalog cards and add to my collection under the assumption that, when done, they would show up in my account on desktop/on the site. Unfortunately, since I’m not logged in on the app, they’re not showing up, and there’s not a way TO log in on the app. Luckily, i’m still able to export the list via email; but now I’m concerned that if I add them manually via a list to the TCGPLAYER site, and then log in gets fixed eventually, I’m going to have a huge duplicate problem on my hands when they decide to merge. Brutal, after scanning 400+ cards and spending hours doing so. Pain.

Just use the mobile browser version
An app version of a site or service is meant to make everything easier and more efficient. Somehow TCGPlayer’s app functions more poorly than the mobile site. With constant log outs you’re forced to log in EVERYTIME and as a big seller on their platform it’s infuriating. I check TCGPlayer about 20 times a day so just this issue alone has made the app unusable for me. I’m forced to use the mobile site if I’m on my phone. On that note, the app version is LITERALLY a bootleg copy of the desktop version. So you’re forced to scroll and zoom on every page. It has the same feeling of scrolling the browser on a fire stick, clunky and time consuming. The only feature I even remotely like is the scan and collection features, it’s fairly accurate and easy to use but only useful for my customers looking to sell their collections, and if I’m uploading a photo listing. So 2 stars, it has one redeeming feature but 90% off the app is inefficient and in no way user friendly.

Not much more than a bookmark for now
I’m fairly certain that the feedback team will send the generic response to this. The app is likable with easy access to the cards. There’s some great features that make life very simple for the buyer and seller interested in cards. It provides great service while doing the function of a mobile store. In certain cases, I do find difficulties with load times. This is more so on the ISP than on the app itself. The fact that databases can be updated to support increased speed in which the app can be accessed is nice. It’s a decent compromise. Great work on that part. The glaring issue is that the product variety on the scanner is very limited to the three listed card games. While nice, this inherently restricts the user to only three card games. I’m assuming that this is being worked on to accommodate the listed games and more. Also on that note, I would like to have the option of picking and choosing frequently used databases to increase speed. There are some card games that people don’t play, thus eliminating the need for that particular data update. It might be best for those that have an account and would like to have that access through the settings menu. For example, if a person plays MTG and Pokémon, but not Yu-Gi-Oh, you can have that database be removed from the update package.

Unfortunately disappointed
I wanna preface this by saying, I really love tcg and selling with them. The app is set up with the illusion of ease of use. But i found it more fluid to manually input on my laptop then to use the seller portal on the app...for two reasons..that if could be fixed would leave this app a must have for all tcg users. 1. Ability to add the entire list of cards created from the scanning option to your seller portal..this would make it much less tedious 2. Ability to use the photo provided by the server when adding cards to online store...when posting on my computer I’m not required to take a photo (just state truthfully the condition)...when required to take a photo for every card on the app it makes the speed and ease of use absolutely obsolete I love the idea of this app. If those issues could be fixed it would be a perfect streamlining option to add bulk cards to sellers online stores. Other than that it is not of much use to me or I think others over simply using their website.

I don’t review often
I don’t know if I’m spoiled by other apps, but the features for scanning and organizing cards on this app are needlessly inefficient. To scan cards in you need to set up your own miniature film studio for each card, and trying to enter them manually needs to be done in tandem with Google because the app doesn’t let you preview an image of the card without adding it to your collection. My experience uploading my Pokémon card collection has been going through each card one at a time, checking on Google, scrolling to find the right set on the app, adding the card, then exiting the card search browser to edit information on the card I added. Repeat ad nauseum. It might be easier for Magic the gathering since that game has set symbols, but if you’re trying to catalogue that game I highly recommend finding another app. I won’t advertise one on this page, but there are plenty of better options. I bet there are for Pokémon too, but I don’t pay much attention to that game.

4 because I have not used everything yet!
Love the website, so far, love the app. It makes it so easy to buy stuff! I buy my Pokémon cards here, and it is so easy to find what I need. Market price listed and selling prices of people. I always get nervous buying card online but what made me less nervous is when someone got a card falsely claimed to be near mint but had a giant scratch, tcgplayer stepped in to help them get money back or rectify the situation. I so far trust this app to make purchases on. Also while products are being scalped for this site, the price doesn’t seem to be more than $20 over on the elite trainer boxes which I find pretty refreshing. I haven’t used all things available on the app which is why I gave it a 4 of 5. Maybe I can try to sell some cards here for others to try and complete their collection.

Pretty good but far too laggy
I do like the TCGplayer app. It’s convenient to have an app to easily access the price of cards. It’s also an incredibly useful tool as a seller. The huge, glaring issue with the app is its lag/consistency. The app is usually quite slow. Occasionally it straight up drops connection (tested on stable internet against a computer accessing the website). There are times where it would load the frame but not the actual prices and sellers. It’s hard to quickly look something up for a trade, especially if you have to jump through extra hoops to find the price guide when searching normally doesn’t work. As it stands, I don’t recommend this as a quick reference tool. This app should only be used by sellers that want to check their inventory. Mobile buys can use it, too but really only should when you absolutely want to use TCGplayer.

Could use some work
Don’t get me wrong, I very much enjoy using TCG on the PC version to sell items. It’s very efficient, and even though they take a pretty big chunk it’s ultimately nice to have a central place to sell excess singles on your own terms. That being said, the mobile app seem to need work. Some issues that I’ve seen: -A majority of the app doesn’t seem to even be mobile friendly, but rather just an odd overlay for the main website. The exception of this being the scan feature, which houses its own issues. - As mentioned, the scan feature goofs up occasionally when picking a set, and editing a selection can seem clunky sometimes. -Lastly, and this is the unforgivable flaw that ultimately will just have me using the browser version: your collections are not ported over to the mobile version. That is to say if I have a collection that I meticulously added on the browser version, it is not automatically added, nor is it able to be ported over to the mobile version. There IS the ability to import a CSV file to the mobile version, but not the ability to get a CSV of your current collection on the site. Overall I have high hopes for the app, but I’m not holding my breath. Don’t let this app’s clunk deter you from using TCGPlayer, it’s a great site to help move most of your trading card product.

Great app could be better
I love using this app for cataloguing my decks and binder, but I would love to use this for my whole entire collection but adding thousands of cards can be a nightmare with this app. I want to preface this with the fact that I’m very grateful for this app. There isn’t another one that stays as up to date with the cards and has as good of a system. The one thing I would love is a way to interface this with my computer very well. Wether be the app or my phone (iPhone 12) but cataloguing so many cards heats up my phone and lags it very bad and also crashes the app. Also while the scanner is very good, with a lot of newer sets it never scans the set right and changing every single card I scan can be a nightmare with the card setting interface. They are all slight and small little issues that don’t matter much but after the thousandth card really gets to me. If there was an option just like the option to make every scan foil but makes every scan always part of a specific set, that would be nice. My biggest thing though, if I could scan with my phone and make all the adjustments and the database on my computer that would be a dream come true!! Thank you for the great app and hopefully my voice is heard. 💕

Only occasionally helpful.
TCG Player deserves a better app than this. The scanning feature is great when it works, but often fails on different borders, treatments, and sleeves and is unbelievably sensitive to various lighting. The cart isn’t saved to my account, so I can’t switch between the site and the app. The site navigation is painful for multiple reasons. - I can’t add items to my cart from the search result listings, I have to enter the single product page which is inefficient and often loses my place in my search results when going back. - Search results are not stored as a complete set, so navigating between pages of results means the contents change. This is frustrating when looking through groups of cards such as from an expansion. An app like this should have functionality which not only provides a strong shopping experience but encourages use beyond shopping to both understand me better as a consumer and more importantly make me engage with the company more often so I spend more there. Things like trade helpers (which could eventually allow users to include TCGplayer credit in their trades to help with equitable transactions and generate more earnings) and a game tracker for life/counters/etc. It’s unfortunate that the industry standard in the space has such a suboptimal mobile experience.

Just something I want to tell you
Ok so I would honestly want to really know what my Japanese Pokémon cards are worth but it won’t scan the Japanese Pokémon cards so is there ever gonna be a update where I can scan my Japanese Pokémon cards and see what the real value is .aka. My Japanese charizards. Just asking if you would add a scanning option or Let this App Scan Pokémon Cards Then k can actually see the real value of the card and yes it’s a good app to use to scan English Pokémon cards but I would honestly love you to add in Japanese Pokémon card scanning because if you don’t then how am I gonna find out what the actual value of my Japanese Pokémon Cards are also I do use this app to scan Pokémon cards and yes thanks if you add this update in maybe? Good enough but rough edges
The app does a lot of great stuff in how it integrates with TCGPlayer’s site but it has a number of shortcomings. The scanner on this app is very finicky and slow. I’ve given up on trying to scan any pre8th edition black cards entirely and green or blue can be inconsistent. If MTGManager didn’t have such a quick and consistent scanner I’d let it slide. That said, MTGManager also charges for stuff & this app is fully free. I don’t know how your scanner works but if it doesn’t already do it I’d suggest having it read the card text and comparing it to an existing database to help narrow down the possible cards. At bare minimum you’d get the right card but wrong version sometimes. It would be nice if the app had slightly more sorting options. The ability to sort the cards you’ve added to a binder with even these minor options would be amazing: Alphabetical Number of copies Set name Card type Date added Value Also the ability to search to see if a card is in your collection could be a nice addition. Or even just manually moving cards up or down the list. Overall it’s a pretty good app, and it’s hard to complain when it’s FREE. I just want some improvements. The scanner stuff could be tough but just improving sorting alone would make me immensely happy

It’s good, but could be better.
I’ve been using this app for a while now to catalogue our cards as we open them. I love that you can make lists, as I like tracking the value of hauls or boxes. However there are more downsides than I feel like there should be. 1) There’s no way to combine or merge lists on the app. I would have loved to make overall set lists, but it’s almost impossible to do this within the app. 2) Not being able to export as a csv on iOS is a huge downfall, as a lot of different sites use that format for imports. 3) When “exporting” the list it doesn’t track if a card is foil or not, which again makes it challenging to catalogue it correctly and takes time to fix. 4) I would love to see the option of selecting a set to search from. Often times the promo is pulled, or obscure cards are (when I’m scanning standard cards). 5) The organization for the Art card catalogue is atrocious. Some cards have numbers, and some don’t. Others will pull as a gold foil, with no option to switch it to the standard version. While I have found this app to be the most reliable for scanning apps (and I love that you can make several lists), there is still a lot of work to be done.

This could be 5 stars except laziness
I love the app, but it often recognized editions wrong, which I’m still fine with (I’m not expecting perfection with so many card variants) but let’s use “Siren’s Call” as an example. I scan it in and it comes up as 4th. Mine is unlimited so I push the button to change it, but I can’t because the choice of unlimited is “beyond the range” of the selection screen. I can pull it up enough to see it but as soon as I try to select it by taking my finger off the screen from scrolling it “snaps up” 3-4 places so I can’t choose it any more. World Championship, Urza, unlimited and others are affected by this. It’s not every card, some are formatted correctly so I can choose it. Someone is obviously just lazy with formatting. It’s a shame since it is a good app otherwise.

Good for MTG, useless for Pokémon
I use the app to scan my MTG cards, and it works great. I do wish the option to select which set you are scanning from, as quite often it will select the card from the wrong set and I have to go back and change them to the correct one. When it does this and I have a copy of the correct card from the correct set and it adds the wrong set I have to go in and remove the incorrect one and add one to the right set. It’s pretty annoying and I don’t think it would be all that difficult to give us the option of selecting the set we’re scanning cards from. That being said, the app absolutely will NOT scan new Pokémon cards (Sun & Moon series) no matter how I tilt my phone, flash on or off, say a prayer or do a dance, it will not scan them.. at all. Pretty irritating to be honest.

Not taking payment
Spent many hours learning the app and searching for cards for a deck I’m building. Imagine after all my hours of searching and collecting to my cart and their site won’t take my bank card. I own my own business and this card has been used everywhere with no problems. Yes I repeatedly try to use here and it won’t. Only time I have any issues in the past was when PayPal has a hand in it. And they have paypal involve with their sire here. So I searched and searched for a way to call and ask why I can’t use my card and there is no way to call them. I sent an email but by the time I get anywhere with that the cards I’m looking for will be gone and I’ll have to start over. I used there automated chat but it’s useless. What is wrong with places that won’t help their customers? They have enough customers that they don’t care if I buy or send other people to or away from them?

Does what it needs to from a customer perspective
Solid 3 stars. There’s nothing exciting in the functionality for browsing cards or putting together a list, but it does that and I can make my orders quickly with good communication from the sellers. I have one big complaint and one small complaint about using this app. Big complaint: it forgets my device every 15 minutes. There is no “remember me” equivalent button, and if I’m not actively in the app it logs me out. There have been multiple occasions where I log in, start adding some cards to my cart, get distracted, come back, add more cards and find I have two different cards that don’t properly merge when I log back in. Please fix this. Your site says you can check a box and it’ll remember a device for 14 days. This is not my experience at all. Little complaint: I’ll be putting together an order and optimize my cart to find weird expensive versions of cards listed. I’ll then remove the expensive version and add the same card at a reasonable price from one of the sellers already on my list. Seems like the optimize functionality should handle that.

Much better
All of the comments here are 2-3 stars which may have been the case a year ago, but it hasn’t quite been my experience now. The scanning feature is great and fast. Occasionally it doesn’t scan when a card is foil, but in scanning my EDH decks, I only had to manually input about 5 cards of the 99. One grievance is the collection to trade-in button. I scanned in about 20 cards in a collection, hit the “move to trade-in” button, and nothing happened. I think it’s because only a handful of those cards (maybe 10 of them) were able to be traded in. But instead of not moving anything, just cut the cards that don’t work, still move the ones that work.

Overall, a very good app (pokemon collector)
It’s a great app/site for buying/appraising cards. The addition of “latest sales” is amazing. The scanning tool is incredibly useful for pokemon (although it has a bit of trouble with reverse holos/full arts). There are 3 QOL improvements I can think of. 1) A search bar in the collection tab. Having to always sort by alphabetical can get a little annoying. 2) Labeling the card version in “Latest sales.”There is currently no way to differentiate between different printings in the latest sales (1st edition, holofoil, etc) which can make appraising some cards a little difficult. 3) Pokémon specific: a filter for world championship cards. Anyways, love the site, awesome job tcgplayer team.

Great for prices but don't buy with it.
Firstly I do like this website for looking up cards and prices, wish I could give a higher rating but their buying process is overly complicated, and not user friendly. This app also refuses to function a lot of the time, if you're going to buy through TCGPlayer, just use the browser. My app says I'm signed in, but when I go to check out an order, it says I'm not (even though the account icon on the bottom is still showing me signed in). I try to sign in, it doesn't do anything. I close the app to try again and it wiped my entire cart out in the process I just spent an hour on. tl;dr The app is garbage to buy from, use the web browser.

This is probably the best tcg app I ever seen
Ok I see everyone saying there is bugs oh no, but I think this app is super cool. This app not only lets you know how much your cards cost but it also lets you buy cards. This is extremely helpful I am a Pokémon card collector in fact I have over 1000 cards, this app is the best for knowing how much cards cost. This app has every single card loaded into it so I can scan any card. And guess what they also sell funko pops there and I just got into collecting them so that’s great. This is a really underrated app and I think it deserves more. So devs if you see this you guys did a incredible job.

Excellent app! Highly recommended!
I typically only write a review on the App Store if an app has gone above expectations or if it disappointed me. This time around, the app deserved 5 stars! The app is great for finding current values within a multitude of different card conditions. And it’s also great to have a catalog, per expansion, with said values. But today, just for fun, I wanted to just put all my decks into a collection to see if the value has increased/decreased. And the app is great for cataloguing everything with your camera! The only people who give this app a bad rating, are entitled brats who don’t understand the process of developing and running a FREE APP. *mic drop

Slow and buggy
The idea of an app is great but when you’re using it and trying to type in the search bar it’ll sometimes drop the search as you’re typing causing you to click on something else by accident and then takes a very long time to load most pages. The filter is messed up as well. You can click on a filter tad, say at the top, and it’ll select something at the bottom. You can try to scroll down on the filter tab and for some reason it scrolls up. I just don’t understand these bugs. They make the app actually unusable at times. The only convenient thing about it is I don’t have to open a web browser to search the online site. (Which runs faster and smoother)

Worthless
The app will no longer stay logged in longer than 3 minutes. The scanner will never get a set right. Why try and scan in cards to sell if every card has be changed to the correct set since it never gets it right. Foil cards can never be scanned as well and it has trouble with black cards for magic the gathering. It glitches and freezes up when you try to change any filters. Also you can no longer find sets easily cause they changed that page. They consider a border less card or special art of a card a completely different card on the data base. If you hit see all versions you will not be shown all different arts and treatments. I recommend card kingdom for buying cards they also don’t practice union busting tactics like tcg player does.

Way too much lag
Do not get this app. If you want the app to make your shopping experience more convenient on your phone, you’re much better off using their website on safari. I attempted using this app for about 30 minutes in an area with good service, connected to good WiFi, and clicking on anything (the search bar, a card listing, my cart, etc) would make the app just stop and think about what it’s doing for a good 10 seconds each time. After going through this for about 30 different cart options, thinking “I’m already this far, might as well keep going”, my cart was suddenly emptied with no trace of the items. I’ve deleted the app and I hope these concerns are dealt with eventually, because this app could be very useful in the future once they are.

High Hopes
I desperately want to have a single app for card collection management and sales. I thought this could be it, but it doesn’t quite make the grade yet. Here are some concerns (some apply to tcgplayer’s website as a whole): - the app crashes during card uploads for lists (this could be fixed by allowing users to upload lists as csvs on the regular website, whether it be collections or trade-ins) - there is no easy way to clear a buylist. This is infuriating when you go above your total allowable cards. This is compounded by not being able to see exactly how many cards are in your buylist. Some sort of count of cards would be an easy bandaid solution that could be implemented as a more permanent solution is created. - some actions do not even work. I have tried several times to add part of my collection list to trade in, with no error but no cards in the trade in cart. This seems to be a huge problem that may affect other functions. Please investigate! Although I provide criticisms above, I do like the app in general and hope for marked improvements to the app and the website as a whole.

It would be nice for the ui to get an update, especially when you go to your account. It looks very different from the rest of the app and is kind of jarring. It looks more like the web version. Card scanner needs to be better too. Black cards and foil cards are basically unscannable. And it would be nice if the scanner could pick up the set symbols as well so I don’t have to go in and change it myself manually. Lastly, and this is an important one, I have been facing an issue of having to sign back in every time I want to access my account now. This is a bug that needs to be fixed.

Jpg Quality
I generally just use the app to keep track of my collection on a virtual level that can actively reflect the changing prices of cards that I own and in that sense I really enjoy the app. One thing that i think would make it feel more premium would be to upscale the Jpgs on the collections tab. looking through my collection i am met with low resolution renditions of the card but when i swap over to the shop tab i am greeted with a full resolution beautiful high quality picture. i would love to see that same quality uniform throughout the entire app.

Needs work
It seems to provide the features necessary to sell cards. However, the following issues prevent it from working: - It does not remember your sign in. Either from Sell or You tabs. - If you attempt to sell, it will ask you to sign in every time. Regardless of the context you start the sell flow. Either from the Sell tab or from the card within a collection. This is super frustrating as I’m invested in the platform but the tool simply doesn’t work. Deficiencies: - Scanning is not nearly as good as Dragon Shields. I’ve performed all the best practice to setup the camera / lighting / etc. Especially with holos. - You can’t upload your collections… the data lives on the phone. It should be uploaded online (as a collection) that I can then choose to sell. Also ensures I don’t have to lose data. Importing a CSV on a phone is great, but does not instill confidence in it’s ability to recover. Especially as I plan to have hundreds of collections and I have no desire to import 100+ CSVs on a phone.

Suits its Purpose
Pros: Really easy card lookup Meh: Scanner is still hit/miss even with good angles/surfaces/backgrounds Cons: Too easy to make mistakes with selling cards/ safeguards There are some things I like about the app, and other things i don’t. The scanning is alright, but I find remembering card names better/ more efficient especially if you run across cards a lot repetitively. Also, when viewing more information about a card, I would often hit the buttons underneath the card’s name. The three options to either buy it or sell/trade. It made me nervous/anxious/furious that these buttons shouldn’t be an option unless you’re sure 100% you’re ready to get rid of selected card. It gives your card base an approximate value of what’s it worth if you separate your pool of cards into a deck list, although separating your collection into various decklists can get confusing, especially if you’re experimenting with new deck ideas. I feel all-in-all, app is a bit too trigger-happy. One wrong tap, swipe, or misunderstanding can really make a bad day.

Used to be better
When i started using this app it was amazing, but recently in the last year things have been falling off. Half of my orders never show up, and the other ones always take over 20 days to arrive, if they even do. Ive been left empty handed for Christmas gifts and birthday gifts because they just never showed up. Its been quite inconvenient considering just in the last few months I've had 4 packages no show. It’s starting to feel like a scam. And theres no compensation at all for all the wasted time waiting for nothing besides having to wait even longer for a refund. Not cool.

GREAT! Uses card scanning and updated prices!!!
This app is great especially for those looking to purchase specific cards at their local game store and for those who like to log their decks quickly and easily. The most accurate card scanner I’ve seen amount all apps has a setting that changes the number of times that the app will make sure that it is scanning the right card!!! The scanner also doesn’t tank your battery life like other apps. They really thought of everything with this app and I highly recommend it!!

Unbelievably glitchy
When it works, it’s great—pulls prices in real-time from the site, lets you shop all in the app, etc. Has the features you’d want and more. But so, so often opening the app and trying to GET to those features is so much more frustrating than opening a web browser and going to the site would be, to the point that there’s no reason to have this app in its current form. Glitches, absurdly long load and auto fill times, and weird things like taking you out of the search bar when you’re typing so you click on one of the things that was behind the keyboard and have to back up and start over again...frustrating to use. And it’s been like this for months.

Great app but has some issues!
Love the app makes keeping your collection easy. But (and this is why I gave it 3 stars)it would be nice if all my collection was available on any device I log in on. I scan all my cards with my phone but when I go on my iPad or desktop even though they are all the same account I log in to none of my collection is there. It would be nice if no matter what device I log into my account on my collection will be there so I can see what cards I need to purchase. It’s a great app but has room for improvement. Thank you for putting this app out and I look forward to seeing improvements on it in the future.

Too slow and not responsive enough
I’ve had this app on multiple phones since it launched and every time I use it, it takes forever to load anything. You type one card in, and have to wait 20 seconds after you click for it to register and then it takes another 30 seconds to load the page. You have to click things 8 times for it to load and when it does it feels like it freezes the app and it stops working, and no it’s not my phones, iPhone 11, iPhone 10, and a Samsung Galaxy S9 all have the same issue. You’d be better off just going on the website. It takes double the amount of time to buy from this app than it does on the web.

Awesome BUT...
I absolutely love your app but it definitely needs a couple different sorting options added to it. I’m very particular about organizing my collections and it drives me nuts not being able to sort my collections on here. The sorting aside I love the scanner it’s fast and very accurate. I think it cool that you can buy, sell, & trade in the app also. The prices seem pretty on par with what I find online when searching. All around great app. I’ll definitely go from 3 to 5 starts though if you can fix the sorting of collections. Sorting based on color, editions, foil/normal, name, power, etc. It’d be an excellent feature and I’m sure I’m not the only one that’d like it added.

Scan option doesn’t work
I have tried every little tip from scanning and I am still having a problem trying to get the cards scanned. I have to resort to entering them maunually which just makes the process much longer and almost not worth it. I have multiple friends who use this app for their selling as well and none of them have been able to use the scan feature like it is designed. The card is in the frame, what more do you need?? But no, it won’t register that there is even a card in the frame. I’ve deleted the app and redownloaded to see if that works and still no luck. Really disappointed in this app.

Great idea, but incomplete
The scanner works great. But after you scan cards there’s nothing you can do with them. Here’s some things that I think can be improved 1) a “list all” feature that automatically lists your entire scanned collection would be helpful 2) more info when exporting your collection. As of now doing so doesn’t even give the cards condition of foil/nonfoil. It only gives the card name and it’s set 3) improve listing cards. I like the fact that you can list from the app, but why are only photo listings supported? It makes the app inferior to the website, where you can just add your quantities to list things.

App is okay
I would like to give it five stars but unfortunately tha app still has issues adding cards to my collection manually, I’ve tried adding various cards such as Balor and Gala Greeters to my lists only for them not to show up on the list of available cards to add on top of that I can’t scan them either, I’m not sure if they just haven’t been added but I can find those cards just fine when I’m trying to buy them from the store but can’t add them to the collection, a fix to this issue would be nice.

Has noticeably slowed.
I have noticed over the last couple weeks that this app has slowed quite a bit. The app starts up ok but is very quirky when I try to type a card. Want to search for. It auto completes and I tap the card name to search and I experience 5-10 seconds of nothing until the screen actually changes, then a similar amount of time until results start to come up if not a little longer. When I search for a card name in the scan window it works fine and quick. I have the app updated and am using an iPhone 7 of some sort. If there was another option, I would use it.

Love the company, not the app.
I’ve been buying my mtg cards from TCGplayer for years now and have always loved their service. In terms of price, selection, and customer service they’re easily my favorite online retailer. This app is somewhat less impressive though. Whenever I try to update my cart the load times are painfully slow. There’s an issue I experience frequently with the search bar, where as I’m typing a card in to generate suggestions, the keypad will disappear and I’ll be taken to whatever suggestion or link was underneath the key I was about to press. Between that and the load times I find it to be easier just to use their site on my computer for my shopping.

I’m just going to use the normal website
I was hoping that the app would be a nice way to browse cards but it’s extremely buggy. The majority of the problems start with the filters. Every time I wanted to clear filters it just kept adding more, and the loading after clicking on every box makes the screen go hectic. If you’re going to use this app I recommend only using on filter at at time or if you have the time just browse through each page for what you’re looking for. Obviously if you know what card you want just search it at the top but in my usage I just wanted to look through old Pokémon sets and check prices and filter out certain stuff.

0 customer service with my account stolen
Absolutely no response from customer service after 2 days with my account stolen from some random person in Vietnam. Mind you your card information is saved into the app. There is NO phone number to try and reach someone in the case of something urgent such as this. DO NOT use this app unless you are willing to sit around waiting for an email for a week while some stranger has all your personal info and credit card information. I wish I could have read a review like this before downloading and using this pathetic excuse of an app... I would have definitely preferred spending the extra dollar to get my cards on eBay knowing that I’m protected and can get help in a situation like this.

Glitchy and Unoriginal
For the most part, this app works OK for searching for cards to buy, and selling. It has support for uploading cards to a personal collection with your phone’s camera. However, the whole app feels like a copy of the website, and is constantly not sized correctly to your screen. There are often connectivity issues, or the app loads much slower than a PC/laptop. Also, many of the menu/drop-down options do not work i.e. they are hidden under other elements, or you click on the option and the app registers you clicking on the element behind the menu. Another thing, the app doesn’t know how to properly refresh data entry when editing shipping or payment information, and can become stuck thinking you’ve entered something incorrectly/not at all. Because of it thinking I haven’t entered my phone number, I’m unable to place an order. You know it’s a bad app when they haven’t polished they way they make money off of their users.

Great for sellers and buyers
Currently a Pokemon card seller on this app. I occasionally buy some cards, but mostly sell. I have to say the seller portal interface could be a little better. Its built for being used on a computer, but its still usable on my phone. Overall, this app is great. Huge community of buyers, massive selection of cards, and I really can’t say anything else bad about this app. Fast customer service is a great thing about this app aswell. Overall, 10/10 app.
