The Pao App

All exploring is just one app away now that there’s Pao!! This is so great for anyone who travels and likes to do more than just go to the local chili’s. Business trips and vacations just got a whole lot better! I love that I can just search a city and see all the cool spots that people have come together to include on this app and a lot are hidden gems so you can easily just grab cool points by knowing a local spot even before a local may even know it! Such a fun and exciting app - all the spots on it are fantastic I’ve already tried a few and I was not disappointed. So if you’re not traveling and just trying to find a way to enjoy your city more this app can definitely help you do that! Just search your city and scroll through it’s so easy!

This app has quickly become one of my favorites. There are so many cool places on here uploaded by users around the world. The best part is that it’s really hard to find such hidden and adventurous places on other travel websites, but the places on Pao are truly the best our planet has to offer. It’s the first place I look to find inspiration for food, hikes, and other destinations whenever I’m going somewhere new. I have found so many hidden gems that I want to visit. I even found a new brunch spot in my area that has quickly become a favorite. It’s also fun to upload places myself and feel like I am contributing to the friendly and supportive Pao community! I also love the curated Playlists and creative travel ideas! If you are into travel and exploring new places at all, this is the app for you!!!

I have an obsession with finding new coffee shops and thrift stores and this app helps me find places that people have been with similar styles to me and also helps me share places I’ve been with others. This app is also great to help me keep a log of where I’ve been and where I want to go, like my own little travel diary. Although I haven’t traveled anywhere outside of California, I know I have this app available with the places I saved for when I do travel so I’ll know exactly where to go to have the best experience. I think it really motivates me to try new places and explore and since I’ve downloaded this app I’ve been telling everyone I know about it becuase I want to share the excitement with them about this amazing app.

The intention and thought behind this app is the absolute best thing about it. It encourages users to get out and explore their city by either finding “hidden gems” or going to gems other users have recommend. You can make posts from anywhere and as the app grows they keep adding big cities where it’s getting more popular. I can always find something new on this app & I have never been to a gem that disappoints. Also, the app is all about positive reviews and eliminates a lot of the toxicity that can be a byproduct of social media. The app also emphasizes company values in various ways throughout its design. Seriously just download it and give it a shot, it’ll speak for itself. HUGE FAN

It has easily become one of my top 3 favorite apps and I will always recommend that everyone else uses it too! On pao, you are connecting with REAL life people, no computer bots. It’s such a positive community of people who truly just want to explore the incredible world we live in! I have always used social media to find new places for travels, hiking, dining, etc. b However, I have always found it difficult to find spots on other social media apps unless I have seen it before, or if someone posted about it. You can’t simply look up an area and find spots/ things to do within it. That’s what makes Pao so amazing and easy to use!! You can simply look up a city and all the cool things users have posted about show up in one search! I also love that with Pao, you can find spots that are more secret or quiet that you would not be able to find on other apps, such as Yelp. Such an awesome community and I look forward to using it to plan my upcoming adventures

If you travel, hate going to the same places over and over, or even just need new recommendations, this app is for YOU! Get the perfect inspiration for new places to visit wherever you are. Spots are uploaded from around the world so no matter where you go, there’s probably some Pao recommendations. Seriously a must download for literally everyone! The only thing that would make this app better is if there were 3 female founders... OH WAIT THERE ARE!!! A great app idea!! All the foodies, travelers, coffee shop fanatics, view seekers and more have been needing this!!! As a foodie who loves to travel this app is exactly what I need!! I can scroll through my feed finding new, great content of places I can save to try in the future. Or I can search a specific place I’m going and then find all the great places to go, stay, see, and eat there. The best part is, when you save a spot it saves in folders based off the Country or state and then the city. This way you never lose what you saved like on Instagram where it’s solely in order of when you saved it.

It’s always been a struggle of mine to keep track of all the places I want to visit! I will see places and write them down in random places, soon forgetting about them completely. Pao, however, has given me the opportunity to save these spots all in one place and show me new HIDDEN GEMS all around the world that I never knew of!! This app is my new compass for traveling and an absolute necessity. I find someplace new everyday. Not only are there incredible spots all over the world, but there are also great local ones too! The app is so easy to navigate and impresses me everyday! Highly recommend!

This app has truly inspired me in ways I never thought possible. If I am traveling or if I am wanting to explore new spots in my city, this app has allowed me to find all those hidden gems. Unlike other social media apps, Pao is easy to use, inviting, authentic, informative, and makes you want to connect with everyone! I have discovered so many new places and it has made me want to get off the couch and go see them. In fact, it has made me want to share all MY spots as well in a safe environment. I would definitely recommend this app, everyone should download it!

I love that this app is positive reviews and content, rather than many other places where reviewers go online just to complain. It’s cool to be able to follow people with similar interests of mine and see all the cool places they have saved around the world. I also love that this gives me a place to save all the cool places I’ve gone rather than have my pictures lost in my camera roll - plus now when friends ask me for my local recommendations I can just tell them to look at my profile on Pao!

The Pao app is the first travel app I’ve kept longer than just a week. It is so easy to post and save spots that I want to go to in the future. Not only can it be used to find a new coffee shop spot or next international travel spot, the beautiful feed and positive mission that runs this app inspires me to get out and go in the best way. I can choose whether I want to have a chill day trying new food and seeing new shops or more adventurous and have an outdoor adventure. It is just perfect for everyone and anyone for everyday use!

I can’t believe I didn’t have this app sooner. The best part is, I’ve traveled to similar places other people have. However, their pictures and video make me feel like I haven’t. It feels like discovering a new location. This keeps the app creative and exciting. One of my favorite elements is the option to comment on the content. Real people respond with answers about the hidden gems they find. It’s extremely user friendly because of this. Everyday I learn something new! 🌏☺️

This is by far one of my favorite apps I have on my iPhone. The app itself is not only instantly easy to navigate and familiarize with it is also an amazing way to find places to go, food to eat, and things to do right at your finger tips. It similarity to well known apps such as instagrams and yelp make it feel familiar and it’s ability to all combine into one makes it extremely unique. I LOVE this app and I hope it become then next big thing in the future :)

Or just browse and save things for future reference. I love to see new places that may be overlooked by other websites or apps. I cannot recommend this app enough! It is the perfect platform for discovering the places around you by providing the necessary information to get up and GO/DO whatever! I have used it many times while traveling around Europe the past few weeks, and it has been so helpful in exploring unfamiliar cities. The mission and purpose of the app is very genuine, and important in today’s media-driven world.

Pao is such an amazing app. Not only is it a wonderful way to explore your hometown in ways you’ve never tried before, but it is the best companion for traveling and seeing the world. You can get recommendations from people you know or even random strangers. When someone asks you what they should do in a place you know well, you can just share your board with them! Pao is my all time favorite app for finding unique new places to visit when traveling! I’ve discovered so many amazing spots all over the world and even in my hometown that I never would’ve heard of. I’m severely technologically challenged but Pao is so easy to use and is also super aesthetically pleasing. Pao is my go to when I’m looking for new spots to try out. The reviews are so detailed and thoughtful. As opposed to other other review sites/apps, Pao users only post good spots with good reviews, so you don’t have to filter through negative posts. It’s a very uplifting community of passionate travelers and explorers and definitely inspires me to go find new places near me! The layout of the app is so user friendly and it’s hard to stop scrolling!!

After exploring this app for the past 10 weeks I can only say, IM OBSESSED. This is truly the new and improved Yelp. This app helps you discover the worlds best coffee shops, restaurants, secret hikes and hidden gems from all over the world. And it’s completely curated by users which makes it such a fun community while giving you real time real life experience. I’ll never Google what’s around me again! PAO app is my new go to!

Joining the Pao community was the best decision I could have made! I absolutely love how easy it is to share and see other people’s uploads. When I’m craving finding a new and unique place the first place I look now is Pao! It has been so refreshing seeing authentic places with genuine feedback about the location. Love how easy this app is to use and how nice the interface is. As a big traveler and someone who spent the first half of the year backpacking (darn Covid!), it was amazing to share my experience and see others who had similar experiences. If you want to visit trendy and cool spots, you need to download this app! I used this app on my trip to Chicago to find cool restaurants or places to see. It was super easy to narrow it down by city. Also if you enjoy taking food pics and travel pics, this app is perfect for you! I have a food and travel blog, so this is another platform that content creators need!

I love that Pao is such a community based app. With everyone posting about all the hidden gems in their local hometowns or wherever they’ve traveled to, it’s so easy to get lost in all the spots I want to add to my bucket list. I also love that the founders have made diversity a prominent part of company culture by the users and interns they recruit and the app itself through features such as daily Play Lists.

This app has made travel-planning SO much easier for me. This app is amazing and like no other! It’s as if Yelp and Instagram had a baby. Not only can you discover new places to eat, play and stay, but you can also connect with people you know (or maybe don’t) and communicate with them! You can ask questions about a spot and so much more. It’s very personal and genuine and a great app to have on your phone.

a must have app!! i was so sick of seeing recommendations for places just because they are paying for the most advertising online. Pao allows you to be creative and imaginable through your adventures, and easily find new places to go too! I hop on everyday and couldn’t go without it for my next go to food/scenic/vacation spot

The app interface is not user friendly and constantly has glitches. In all reality, you have a better chance of actually finding good, non-biased, honest reviews of locations on Yelp, Google, Instagram, and TikTok! Don’t waste your time. These app reviews are mostly “interns” and content creators that they do not pay to create content for TikTok to drive traffic to their flopping app! Don’t believe most of the reviews and hot spots on this app, it’s largely from companies that have provided free food and experiences for promoting their location on TikToks.

It’s a great app, lots of things and resources on it, however it’s impossible to search within a city which makes it super unfriendly if you’re trying to find a coffee shop/ specific type of spot in a specific location. If we could search within a city I would definitely use this app a ton more.

I’ve been using this app for a few months now and I LOVE it. They make it so easy to find the coolest hidden gem spots and I’ve been loving uploading all of mine. This is making me even more excited to travel post Covid, because now I have hundreds of places I want to check out! Great user interface as well, and the look of the app in general is awesome.

This app never fails to leave me feeling inspired and excited. It only is used for pao worthy spots, so you don’t have to worry about any lousy places being on here. There are features such as “IDK inspire me” where you can just browse around for inspiration of where you might want your next destination to be.

This is such a cool concept for an app. I love being able to see where people are traveling to & all of the local spots you wouldn’t necessarily find unless you did extensive research. Ever since the start of the pandemic, most people (myself included) were looking for ways to mix their days up (while still being safe). The Pao app has guided me to many new sites, new eats, new experiences! Without Pao during covid-19, my quarantine would have looked so extremely bland!

The Pao App is the best way to get to know what’s around your city or in places you haven’t been. Unlike other apps that give us the generalized “best” places to go, Pao gives us more in depth and underground places to eat and go out. The social media aspect to recommendations is amazing.

Such a genius concept. As a big traveler, I’ve been pining for ages for something like this—a way to log my fave places around the globe, share my coolest finds, and discover brand new ones.
