So basically this game is amazing! It’s really good in graphics for a mobile game and addicting. There are a few things I would like to see soon. First off things are a tad bit to pricey. $2 for a president and a Vice President?! It should be lowered to at least $0.99. Secondly I would love to see more features from the PC version implemented into this version. For example, I would love to see Ai vs Ai added into the mobile version. Also a multiplayer mode would be fun. Lastly, I would give this game 5 stars if I could choose where my starting state is instead of it picked randomly (For custom character only). I would choose my home state as Georgia and my character would fly to Michigan. Please get the devs to read this since I don’t think they update it anymore and now I’m sad :(. Overall this game is great but still doesn’t get 5 stars unless Some of the things listed gets added into the game (especially Ai vs Ai)
I love this game and I promise I’m not a bot saying this. One thing I think that could bring in more revenue into the game is to add a new feature in which candidates can build their own headquarters around the states and to hire staffers by the state (for example giving 300,000 dollars to North Carolina to buy 5,000 staffers to run the campaign in that state). Another feature that you should add is Presidential Debates in which you are asked questions and your approval and polling numbers go up, and then also Vice Presidential Debates in which you take the position of your Vice President to answer questions to better your campaign. A final feature you should add is computer vs computer so you can watch an election unfold before you and keep up to date on the things each candidate does. The game is overall not laggy and fun to play. Designers and creators deserve more credit than given. Spencer Rada
I actually love this game and it’s really fun but it does definitely has some issues. First It has some glitches, I faced many glitches like having the map being blurred or the presidential candidates disappearing. Second, the game can get repetitive considering you can’t play against a friend or have third parties and this goes into my third criticism. My third issue is that it isn’t like the PC version, it’s way too watered down compared to that version and for someone who doesn’t play a lot of games on my computer, it’s a bummer to see this game only have one main thing to do. If we ignore all those things, the game is great!
I really enjoy this game. I have it on both mobile and the PC. The mobile version is also good, but I think some more features should be added. The main thing I would like to see added is the ability to give speeches in a state. Right now, stamina is entirely useless on mobile since you don’t control where the candidates go and that speeches aren’t in the game. Adding speeches would give stamina a real purpose and would offer another way of campaigning in a state besides advertising, ideology, and operatives. I don’t know if this is a problem with this device, but whenever I go on the app, after I choose my party and press “next” I get kicked out of the whole app. I think this is a problem with my device but this doesn’t occur with different apps. This really annoys me because I payed $3 to play this game, only to get a glitchy main menu and a button that kicks me out whenever I press it. I don’t know if there is a way to fix it, but if there is, I would love to see something happen. I would really be angry if I wasted $3 only to have a useless app that takes up space but I don’t want to risk deleting in case I have to spend/waste more money. Honestly, this game looks fun and I think it is obvious that is why I bought it. I’d love the producers to make the game less laggy for those who have older devices. Overall the game is alright for just $1. The characters are a bit expensive, and I think you could make a subscription based option where you can unlock everything for an x amount of time. The game does quickly drain your phones/devices battery which is a negative, but it also doesn’t take to much storage which is a plus. I think the developers should slowly make this game more like the pc version also. I’d also like to have an option to have more points to create your character, and more physical features. Again, the game is good and definitely worth a buy, but if you can’t afford it I’d recommend checking out 270 to win.
I love this game. However, I think it could be better, I think you should implement more feature from the pc version. Other reviews have suggested this too. I would love to control where my person goes, as sometimes it frustrates me on where they go. I would want my Democrat to go to Michigan but they’ll go to Texas. You could instead make the player ai smarter. I would also like to suggest more candidates. I know you can unlock more, but I think it would be fun to have old candidates for a small fee, like George Washington, Abe Lincoln, and the Roosevelt’s. Thank you for your time
I played the hell out of the PC version and was quite surprised to see this on the Apple Store when I was browsing this morning. While it isn’t as detailed as the PC version (Which is to be expected as the PC version has oodles of depth) this a very good streamlined version that I think works much better for mobile. I DO kind of hope you add debates and the option to pick the ideology for custom candidates (which is the only thing I was surprised to see wasn’t there) but overall this is the best election simulator available for mobile devices.
I love this game and it is very fun. I do wish there was more advanced stuff like debates which is one of the best parts of the campaign trail. I assume there will be future updates that adds things like debates. I also wish there was some way to unlock the payable candidates without buying them. There also were some important candidates that were left out like Andrew Yang and Cory Booker. Overall a great game though, and I can’t stop playing.
I love the game, it’s a lot better than some other similar games out there. I’d like to see some things like debates be added in the future and whatnot. One thing I’ve noticed is a bug particularly in California. It seems if your issue stance in California is too high, your score will go into the negatives, causing your opponent to win the popular vote by like 200,000,000 (I accidentally wrote 200,000 so I edited it) which is obviously impossible. I’ve actually lost a few elections in the game because of the bug. Other than that it’s an all around great game.
Good game but I want a refund on the super pack pls read Devs
So yesterday I just added $25 dollars on my Apple ID and I thought when you buy the Super pack it would give all the candidates like Andrew Yang but they only got me two small custom slots because I have purchase the other stuff and I was mad and I ask Apple to refund and they did but they did not give me my money back. I would’ve had gave it a 5 star but I would give it a 4 star by my mistake.
This is my favorite game in the whole wide world I have nothing bad to say about this game at all the only thing I would suggest is you add a presidential debate where you answer questions just like in the interviews I would love to see you face your opponent on the debate stage and listen to their answers then have a newspaper say how you did just like in the interviews thank you!
Hi I swear I’m not a bot and have played this game for some time now. I love it. The strategies you can use and stuff. Just a few quick suggestions. First, a new electoral map has kind of been released. If you guys could like update the number of electoral votes each state has in this game or release a new game with the same features just a different electoral map that would be awesome. Next, it would be nice if we could be able to see how each county in a given state will vote based on polls. Also, how about the ability to have a three or four party election (I.e. Republicans vs Democrats vs Libertarian vs Green Party). That would also of course mean adding more candidates for those two additional parties Thanks if you read this!
Update The game is working and I would say it’s top notch also with frequent updates what a game!!! My only suggestion is to add debates, we already have a good concept with appearances on talk shows but if the Devs were able to add debates it would be Beautiful also for custom characters if your able to select an ideology that would be nice
I like this game a lot but I don’t like how expensive everything is and for me paying for a mobile game I should at least get Ronald Reagan. There’s not much variety in this game because there’s only a few candidates that are free, I don’t really want to pay $20 to have all the other candidates or even like 2 dollars for one candidates. Can you at least give Ronald Ronald Reagan for free
The game is fine for a .99 cent purchase. It pales in comparison to the original computer versions. The candidate choices are obviously limited to get you to purchase in-app but they’re seriously limited. The fact that you can’t control where the candidates go is a huge drawback. Even on the easiest setting there should be some realism (a Democrat is not winning Idaho). It’s fun for a couple of rounds but if you can find the computer version (there’s a cool Doonesbury version floating around from ‘92) you won’t be sorry.
I enjoy this game a lot but it would be nice if it were more challenging, especially for the harder difficulties. I should not be able to get over 400 electoral votes on the hardest difficulty. I think it is because the ideology points are a little unbalanced because if you just focus on getting those then you get huge nationwide bonuses that give you an insurmountable lead.
Very simple gameplay, very limited candidates unless you buy more, you don’t control 95% of what is actually done on a campaign, the answers on the talk shows make no sense, for instance if you run as trump and go on the knock-off Ben Shapiro show it asks you if trump should be impeached and as trump if you say no you lose appeal, which makes zero sense. Also much of the gameplay is stacked against using Trump such is not being able to obtain ideology points or ads having no effect. A fairly lazy game all around.
Ok first off I think this game is amazing and really well done. However there is one thing that I want to change. Buying candidates is way to pricey. You could lower the prices but I would prefer something that allowed you to unlock them free like winning on a certain difficulty or with a certain candidate. Thanks for reading
I love the game but the computer version has more options such as being able to customize your characters ideology, scale, and etc. In the mobile version, you can’t even do AI vs AI which is a little annoying. Please make the mobile version as good as the computer version and I will give you that one extra star!
I’ve been playing the game for a while now and the only change I would really ask for is the ability to pick an ideology for custom candidates as that’s a feature in the pc version I kinda miss on mobile. Other than that, great game and I hope this gets added as well as the developers continue their great work!
I think that this game was on point. I do however, think that some more candidates are to be added. Possibly Mike Bloomberg, Kanye West, Abe Lincoln, FDR, JFK, Teddy Rosevelt, and George Washington. These are just some that I think should be added. Also another thing you could add is the running for senate and house. But everything in game is perfectly fine.
Or even more parties, candidates, other things on the mobile version. This game is a lot of fun but implementing as much of the PC version as possible into the mobile version would make this a superior game.

This game is a great game and I spend a lot of time playing it. However it is simply very repetitive and not as user-controlled as the pc version is. I would really love to see the pc controls like flying to states, giving speeches, and have more candidate options. For example Andrew Yang and Michael Bloomberg are available on pc, but not on mobile.
I love this game it is a very good game but there is a little bit of an issue I was trying to get Ronald Reagan and it was connecting to the App Store but it did not purchase it and I did not just try Reagan I tried Obama versus McCain and that did not work too so if you can fix this problem thank you I love this game
This game is ( as the title of the review suggests ) kinda lame and basic especially compared to the computer version which is actually my second favorite game on my computer ( the Sims 4 is my favorite if your curious ). If you want a mobile game where you can run as President I suggest getting Win the White House. While it’s still kinda basic I’d still say it’s better then this
I watched a YouTuber play this and it looked really fun but I don’t have a computer so I figured I’d try it on my phone. Now, I didn’t expect it to be the exact same, but to me it just seems a lot different. The computer game has so many more options and things to do. Could be a great game, just wish you’d make it a little more like it is on PC
The game is very very fun. I hope things will continue to get added, such as a primary, debates, and maybe even some post election/ second term election options, because it does get repetitive, but I definitely recommend it- I even bought all the add ons 😬
I really like that now I can play the political machine and it’s a great value for 0.99. It would be cool for there to be AI and more of the things the computer game has to offer. Overall I think it’s a 4 star game.
I played this game all the time growing up. I’d love to have control of the candidate, control of stamina points, and control of HQ locations, as well as types of ads. Suggestions: vary costs/impact of ads: digital, tv, newspaper, social media, etc. Control of VP candidate to boost enthusiasm. Control of candidate and control of speeches- like v.2004 I have to believe that many of us who played this then, want many of the old controls back. Excited to see version 2.0- that is happening, correct? Love this game. Telling all my political friends about it tonight.
I actually tweeted at Stardock years ago that their games would be perfect for mobile and here we are. Unfortunately I have to give it two stars because you don’t control your candidate or what speeches they give or where you build HQs. Also the ads you can run do not have any affect at all. I ran multiple ads in a state for the entire course of a campaign (monitoring for counter ads or speeches) to see if it would make any difference in my and my opponents stats and the ads did not. I do love the custom character creation options though and overall it is the game I remember, but it seems pointless to play the game when all you can actually do to have any impact on the outcome is the ideology points system.

This game is so addicting. The only downside to it is that there aren’t a lot of updates and other candidates aren’t added. It’s kind of boring every once in a while. Hoping developers deliver updates. Other than that, this game is the BEST.
I remember playing the 2004 game on my PC and I loved the freedom it gave us to choose where the candidates went and building our own headquarters, going to individual states each turn for rallies and fundraisers, etc. Would there be any way to put that in this game so it’s a more immersed and strategic game?

I had the 2008 Election version of the game and this version has brought back so many memories! I would like to suggest adding different party options such as Libertarian, Green, etc. Also how about Teddy Roosevelt as a character? Big fan you guys! Awesome!
I love the game but however there isn’t any AI vs AI mode like on steam. Also i expected to automatically get all of the characters but thats ok that they aren’t.. but they are a bit expensive. You should also add Andrew Cuomo he has had a great leading roll during these time.
The game is pretty good but one suggestion is to have Florida be a battle ground state because right now it is a democratic state and for the republican it almost impossible to win Florida but in reality it shouldn’t be that hard so can you please change that it is also the reason why I loose when I play republican
This game is awesome. It has 6 difficulties for a player to choose from, and has realistic gameplay. The only thing I would ask for is AI vs AI, but other than that, this game is incredible.

Looks slick enough, but the "simulation" is completely broken. Played a conventional Warren vs. Trump match where California went red, Mississippi went blue, Warren got 80+% of the anti-immigrant vote despite not campaigning on that, and somehow won the election despite losing the popular vote by nearly 30 million. What's the point when the outcome has nothing to do with reality?
This game is already great but I think it would be amazing if it had a presidential debate similar to the the interviews or you could just put it in political machine 2024 but that’s a long way away

This game is to reinforce the two party system. It doesn’t let you create a candidate without the limitations of “x” amount of points. Even with this in realistic parameter, it is easy to beat on the hardest level, which it boast you cannot do. You will lose, there will be tears. They warned, for nothing. The game needs to add some more cogs to the machine. I am literally campaigning right now. I’ve hit 10 states and DC in the last week. Give the people a real chance at liberty. Call me and let’s design a candidate around my campaign. If this had all the options, I’d rate it at 5. Just another form of voter suppression by pushing the two party narrative.
I’m stuck in week 6 after getting the Good Day interview option. Every time I click yes to take part in the interview, the game crashes immediately. I cannot advance past this week without it crashing on me. The game freezes every few mins. It’s not worth the $2 I spent on it for a game to freeze constantly then crash for no reason. Please fix.
