I rarely write a review on here, especially when I have to search for the app to review it intentionally as opposed to an in-app prompt. I felt the need to after playing this game for hours and getting to the second stage. The puzzles are extremely clever and the reward when you finally make a solution to the complex, multipart puzzles, is very full filling. You often have to solve the second order puzzle of moving the puzzle movers around the board just to solve the first order of moving the ball. Highly recommend any puzzle or even non puzzle fan give this game a try, it's a game I put down and come back to with a fresh mind to progress in!

Holy cow. There are a handful of puzzles out there that are truly good. So many are mundane or repetitive. The few that are not tend to add difficulty by becoming obtuse, random, or requiring fast reflexes. This is a thoughtful, structured puzzle that will make you think, put down your device and walk away, come back to it, and when you finally solve the puzzle you'll see how easy and logical it was. This is one of the few, and I'm so glad I found it. When I finished the first menu of puzzles and saw that there was another puzzle set available, I was overjoyed.

My number one favorite feature is that after I solve a node, the solution stays on screen until I dismiss it. This gives me the opportunity to study and learn from what I've done. I can try to optimize a solution, or I can just appreciate the coolness of how it all works together. Even better, when I run out of hints and cannot figure out the next puzzle, I just delete the app, then reinstall and start over from the beginning. This helps me become a better solver and use fewer hints as I go. Its like a programming and thinking trainer/simulator.

I've played tons of iPhone games I've loved but never reviewed. But after playing this for a couple of hours I feel compelled by a deep admiration for this game to fully endorse it. I got it while it was free, so I'm not sure what it normally costs but I have no doubt the price is more than justified. Beautiful presentation, brilliant puzzles, and the satisfaction of watching your contraptions work make this one of the best puzzle games I've played on any platform. Bravo!

I very rarely will take the time to write a review. When I do, it's because I feel very strongly about something. Usually it's to warn people of something negative. This time however, I just had to write a positive review for this app. I am so glad I got it. The game is beautiful, explained very well, and get this: it's actually difficult unlike most puzzlers (once you get toward the end). If you find other puzzlers too easy, give this one a try. Highly recommend.

I've now completed all 48 main levels and have started on the core sequence ones. This has been amongst the most fun and addicting puzzle games I've ever played on the phone. The concept is pretty simple, but the solutions can be amazingly complex. Highly recommend! As if it wasn't already fun enough, once you realize how manufacturing principles apply to it, it turns into a factory simulator (kinda). Many puzzles can be solved by applying the theory of constraints. Identifying bottlenecks can help you figure out where pieces have to go. It works, and makes the game even better! My only negative, and this is very small, was that I used a lot of hint points on level 48 thinking I was going to be done anyway. Just know that there are more levels after that and don't waste like I did! Great game!

But when I think back to the ones I have played, and how I wish I didn’t waste so much time playing them, this is one of the only games I don’t regret. It’s smart, polished, fun, and really improves the way you think. Like other’s have said, it’s somewhere in between the feeling of programming and doing a crossword. Thanks, game dev, you made something worthwhile, and you should feel good about it.

I love the game! I loved it so much, i bought and played the sequel. I wanted to play this one again, but haven’t been able to find a way to erase my profile, so that i can start the game again as a new player. Right now, the game has all of my puzzle solutions saved in it. I was hoping a developer could reach me through this review to help me figure out how to delete my save data.

It has real challenge but you don't have to guess, you can actually figure out the solution. I've been play without using hints, and a couple of times it took all day to figure out one puzzle. That makes it a great value. It's even a better value than that though, because there are all these sandboxes where you can play for hours. Thanks for a great game. Please make more.

I’m still working through this and can’t wait to move on to the sequel! Very clean, with an extremely beautiful design, and great sounds too. Adding a few other background music tracks wouldn’t hurt but I really can’t find any faults. This is a wonderful puzzle game!! And I can see that it might still challenge if I reset and come back in a few months.

I’m about halfway through this game and I already bought the sequel. The design is fantastic. It’s a top notch puzzle game and is also extremely mentally relaxing. The music is so chill and the sound effects are also very satisfying. The whole thing together makes you feel like engineering genius. Well done to the devs on this. To be honest the screenshots of this game make it look as enjoyable as a trip to the dentist office. Once I started with the tutorial I wasn't sure if I would like it. Much to my surprise I found it I love it! It is such a unique puzzler and it feels so rewarding when you finally figure out how to solve a level. Highly recommended.

This one of my all time favorite games. Each puzzle throws something new at you so it continues to make you think. Each new doodad that is introduced is interesting in how they interact with the others so it never gets stale. Graphically clean and the sound effects are “correct” as well. Perfect!

I have one thing that would make it better, enabling the sound button in the menu that would turn the sound off. There are some places that I don't want the music playing, but don't want to turn off the speaker of the phone.

The Sequence is quite possibly the best puzzler on iOS. It's extremely stimulating and provides a sense of achievement like no other when a puzzle has been solved without help, awarding you a "hint point." There's a lot of tricks to play with as well as a sandbox mode so the replay value is great. A must have to keep your brain sharp!

Just one star. Why? Once you pass the first level and get into the core level, something like 58, 59 game, the creators do not give you enough modules to complete the scheme. They leave out one module on purpose so that you scramble your brain over and over feeling like "yeah, this is cool!". Truth is, once you get very high on the levels, there is not much else to create. One can get the gist of the game and so is not interesting anymore ..... unless, one or two modules are left out on purpose!! Very smart of the creators of the game, I give them that!

This puzzle game is so enjoyable and thought provoking without being frustrating. Think about the puzzles for a while if you get stuck. I find it works well. It's especially nice in this format as I can work on it for a few mins, set it down and come back. :)

I rarely take the time to review an app but this one deserves 5 stars in my opinion. I love the mechanics of the gameplay and often find myself watching it run even after I complete the level. I've enjoyed it so much that I'd gladly pay $5 for another 100 levels if available.

I hate to use hints in any game. This was a great challenge that kept me interested no matter how frustrated I was. Sure, there were many weeks when I didn't even want to open it. But I still kept coming back until I had solved them all without help. Terrific game! More please.

This is my FAVORITE PUZZLE EVER!!! It is a very TRUE FIVE STARS!!! I loved it so much because it wasn't to hard, not to easy, it just took time! It is definitely something you should do when ur bored. I love this puzzle so much. So thank you developers for making such a fun and puzzling puzzle-game! (It is definitely worth that $1. Totally worth it)

The Sequence is genuinely difficult but rarely frustrating. It requires a different type of thinking than anything I'm used to. The ah-ha moments of figuring parts out are so satisfying, and I feel like a genius every time I complete a level. The folks who designed the gameplay must be brilliant freaks.

The puzzles get progressively difficult as you succeed each level, and with that your logic of building the solution to the next puzzle, and your success depends on your knowledge, which the game helps you achieve. And each solved puzzle is as gratifying as the last! Bravo!

This game is absolutely amazing. It's perfect for very short play times on the train. Often times I can complete 2-3 puzzles and then I get stumped. I found that closing the app and opening it on a new day always gave me the new perspective I needed to solve the puzzle.

After figuring out the rules, this game is very stimulating and challenging. The instructions could be a little more descriptive but I think that's part of the challenge of the game. Very gratifying when you complete a puzzle. 5 stars for sure.

I started playing 3 days ago and I can't stop playing in every free moment. It's a challenge to find the optimum way of using the various blocks to get the right moves. There is only one solution. Keeps my brain revving up.

I get frustrated by illogical puzzles. If you put your mind to it, and maybe take a break occasionally and look at a puzzle with fresh eyes, you can solve these, and it is so rewarding when you do.

This is an amazing puzzle app. The concept is unique, the game play keeps you interested, the puzzles are challenging, and the user interface is well put together. I play a lot of puzzlers and this one goes in the rare category of excellent.

A truly great puzzler, and more than that, this game is a great "pick up and put down" mobile game. I was really sad when I solved the last puzzle. I want more!

Would be 5 stars instead of 3 if it had a single step mode. On harder puzzles even in the slow sequence things happen too fast to accurately understand what's happening. So I find I'm just making educated guesses instead of truly working out the problem. Otherwise a very interesting game.

I’m stuck. I like playing the game but you only earn one hint each level and there is no other way to get more. So I’ve reached the end of my game play because I can’t figure out the next levels

This game is super well designed and engaging. The puzzles get way harder but not in a way that makes their solutions unfeasable(like just having the puzzle get bigger to the point where it is impossible to comprehend)

Had a great time solving all these problems. The hint system works out well so it in not impossibly hard. Spent a lot of time playing for the money. Would recommend.

I finally completed all levels (no hints!) I was both happy and sad that there were no more levels. More games like this, please!

This game already has stellar reviews and my experience mirrors that described by the other reviewers. The later levels get very difficult but keep at it and remember to portion your hints wisely.

Simple, easy to understand rules (with nice animated help in case you forget what module does what) and head-scratching puzzles that make you feel accomplished once you figure out the solution. Best of all, no IAPs or ads.

Excellent game. Makes you think since it's very different from anything else. Game itself has a very clean layout, no issues, rounds very smoothly.

I enjoy when playing this game and it forced me to think of the best solution Special thanks to the developers for that.

Great machine building/puzzle game. Please allow sequence numbers to be equal to total number of available widgets I each level, not just widgets on the board. I think this would be helpful.

Brilliant little robotics puzzler. This was very satisfying to work through. I'm at level 29 and I really have to try a lot of different permutations and sequences to solve these puzzles. Robotics 101

It's everything the other 5-star ratings say, and more. The author has done such a great job, I'm in awe. The only downside is that there aren't more levels.

My only complaint is that eventually I will solve all the puzzles and then I will have to find a new puzzle game.

This is an addictive, fun game. I think that sandbox should be unlocked much sooner, however. Maybe after level 10

Really enjoying this. Will soon need more levels. Suggestion: Sandbox editor, where user can create their own sandbox levels.

This is a very clever puzzler. It has become one of my favorite all-time apps, beating out Trainyard from the distant $0.99 days. Looking forward to [sequence 2].

I have never played a game like this. Design and execution are just perfect. I hear it gets really challenging after level 20 or so.

Seriously challenging yet entertaining game where programming is broken down into very basic structures. Absolutely a blast.

Its very hard to get past certain ones but once you do its the most satisfying thing in the world

Challenging and fun. A combination of Rube Goldberg and circuit design. Untimed so you can puzzle over a solution as long as you like and over several sessions if need be.

It would have been nice to share this fact with us in the tutorial. Jerks. Otherwise, having fun so far.
