One of the reasons why I love this game is because I like messing around with it to see when sunrise and sunset will be at different times. It’s also very helpful for me because then I know what sunrise and sunset times are. I love this game, and I would suggest everyone else should use it if you wanna know your sunrise/sunset times. You can also see moonrise/moonset. I hope you enjoy playing this game as much as me, and have fun! I absolutely love this game!
When the Christmas holiday season is over and I look around at the house without decorations I look for something to boost my spirits. Seeing a sun rise sets the mood for the day and the sun set is relaxing Going on your app gives me the joy of seeing how much more daylight and maybe sun I will gain each day. It is fun to use and I look forward to the coming of spring and am happy to have found your app!
After a long time of not looking, I use your app on my phone and iPad often, especially to marvel at how many minutes I lose it stay in the fall, and gain around the vernal equinox. Elegant presentation, a few little quibbles that I would ask you to consider: Many of the sunset photos are not really that great. Flickr and Google photos and so many other places have amazing amazing photos – could you not change your feed? Could you accommodate daylight savings time? This sums up the like button does not open the App Store – “Cannot open the App Store”. Also you missed spelled “ad” as “add”. Thanks for the free option to remove the banner ad! And thank you for an elegant, useful app!
Hi, bottom line is this: I went to May 9, 2020 to see with the sunrise and sunset and your app said that the sun never came above the horizon that day. 😳 There were three dashes where there is normally a time of sunrise or sunset. I went to May 8 and that was fine - it gave the correct answer. I went to May 10th, ditto. What gives here? I need some certainty in my digital apps. Please advise. Thank you. Backstory: I had asked Siri when was the sunset time two weeks from today. (Jan. 9, 2020). And Siri said that from today through that two-week date, the sunset was 4:43 PM. Which of course is incorrect. I asked Siri a number of times, same problem. So I said the heck with this - I gotta re-download that app that I used before Siri. But your app has a glitch for the date of May 9, 2020. Signed, Weary-in-Westchester. 🙁
This app provides simple information but for me is a source of wonder. Such as around the time of the solstice when for many days the sunset is at the same time, followed by a similar period when the sunrise day after day is at the same time. And of course this is followed by the slightly lengthening days and the pleasure that brings.
I use the app for both duck, turkey and dove hunting so that I stay within the legal shooting hours. I have never had a problem with it and it seems to be always correct. I would highly recommend it.
Really pretty sky backgrounds plus fun information
This app shows the time of sunrise, sunset, moonrise and set, how many hours until sunset, as well as how many hours of daylight for each day. It also has a scrolling calendar so you can see how many hours and minutes of daylight there will be for any future date.
1 - On one of the sunset pics the water slopes to the right where it should be level. 2 - The white lettering can’t be read over the bright background on that very same wonky water level shot. 3 - The next week indicator states there will be 12 fewer minutes of daylight whereas the next month indicator shows 1386 MORE minutes today, Sep 25; 2022.
I check this app the night before my morning runs to know when the sun will be up. I also check the sunset when going on a road trip so I’m not driving in the dark.
This app is simple and always works. I’ve had it for years and never, ever had any problems with it. There are other apps with lots of other data, but for sun up and sundown times through the year this one’s the best.
It’s so helpful to know sunset times when making plans for outdoor activities. Also when going to restaurants with great panoramic views, I’ll often make dinner reservations timed to coincide with the setting sun. Thanks!
Wonderful app which I definitely use while planning my international tours. I occasionally also use it at home. The app works fine except it is not linking to my Apple Watch 7.
Lovely background photos with a precise time of sunrise and sunset based on exact latitude and longitude. I will use this app in place of the one I had been using. Thanks! Best to you and your team.
I like your app, but am giving it only 3 stars because of a bug. Sometimes the sun up time displays as a negative number - it’s actually sun down time. And strangely, on Jan 16 sunrise and sunset times do not display at all. Instead there is a message “sun never crosses the horizon”. I suspect it thinks I’m on the arctic circle even though my correct latitude ~40 degrees displays.
I love the concept, and I also love to have the app notify me on my watch, however, after awhile, the notifications stop coming. They do start again, once I open the app on my phone again.
As a Torah-honoring Messianic Gentile believer it’s important to know when the sun sets and rises again each day! It’s a way for me to glorify our Father and our Savior in spirit and in truth! Thank you so much! May you enjoy many blessings... forever! 🙏🏼🔯🤟🏼
I photograph outdoors and finding the “Golden Hour” for optimal photograhic light is important. This app gives that time each Sunrise and Sunset. Wonderful!
Hi For some reason recently your app now shows negative daylight times which are completely inaccurate. Up until now I was quite satisfied with your app but now it’s become worthless.
Curious to know if including moon info for the day is something that could be included. Just seems like that info coincides with the use of an app like this.
Need to know when the sun goes up and down where you are right now? This application tells you that. You can also look into the future when the sun goes up and down on a certain date and at a particular location. This app is free (and always will be).
