This app is beautiful and super easy to use! It’s super easy to get insurance for the weddings I shoot where the venues require insurance. I can just buy it on the app with 3 clicks and I’m done. I get the email of my insurance certificate and can easily forward it to the venue. In the past, I had to get on the phone with my broker to as for insurance certificates each time. It was a pain and frankly I don’t think he liked working with me that much because my job was peanuts to him. Also, just wanted to say that it’s also beautiful, not another stock photo full app. They took the time to draw illustrations which I found unique! Thank for thinking of us independent little people!
I took off one star because loss of my equipment can not be insured by the day for one event, but only if I pay monthly for a policy. Also a side note: it’s tough to find the daily insurance button to buy another policy if you already bought one for a different day. Hint: Look underneath the current policy on your dashboard to find the button to buy another day. Don’t hit the “get quote” button! Totally confusing. However, this insurance is otherwise perfect for a “side gig” wedding videographer like me. Many wedding venues require me to have insurance, but I don’t have enough wedding video jobs on the books to make an annual policy worth it. Thimble is a great solution. Also, once you know where to find the button as described above, it’s incredibly easy to use the app.
I purchased a liability policy for a month as a handy man first month was $435 & every month the amount would go down. I got an opportunity to basically flip 8 apt. Units. they were asking for this document along with my bid. Within minutes of purchase I was emailed my documents it was very easy but 2 days latter I found out I did not need liability to do these units. I read that a full refund is available within a few hrs of purchase so I cancelled hoping I would get some type of refund to my surprise I got $395 back within 24 hrs. I’ll definitely keep them in mind for the future
As a small janitor business, I was required one year ago to begin providing COI’s for customers. Thanks to Thimble, I was able to afford the coverage I needed to compete with the franchised competitors in order to keep my mom and pop snow removal business alive for another season due to requirements from the client. Thimble is perfect! Allows you to purchase insurance for one day or even a few hours if needed. My business doesn’t generate enough money to purchase monthly insurance which is why for every job Thimble had my back for the hours I am at the job! 👍🏼
I have the original Verifly app and I am happy to see this app come out. Haven’t needed to use it yet because I have been studying for my Part 107 certification but after that I’ll be using it along with my other insurance companies to make sure I am fully covered in case of an accident. I’m a small business and it’s seasonal. It’s hard to justify paying for insurance all year every month. With thimble I can have an insurance policy per job or per day. Keeps my coats down but I still have the coverage I need.

The last time I looked for temporary production insurance it was a two week process and cost over $500. For small production crews this is an incredibly valuable asset!
They offer minimum one day insurance coverage. The price for coverage became 5 times more expensive then it was before (they offered insurance by hours before). I come to client to make diagnostic on refrigerator one day and should pay $60, then I come back another day with parts to make a job and should pay additional $60. Total $120 just for insurance to access apartment in building...

I just bought this new policy to submit to my employer had trouble with getting the old policy number. Also it would be nice if I can get some of my money would be nice
I’ve had them as our general liability for 2 years. They decided to increase coverage costs by quadrupling my quote. It’s pretty absurd to have no claims for 2 years and then have your insurance jacked way up. I never thought thought I would quote Ariana Grande in a review about general liability insurance... but “thank you, next”. And by next I’m going to NEXT Insurance. They quoted me half what Thimble did.
