I am forced to use this app because it’s the only way to manage my accounts from my phone. This app seems half-baked. When you tap on a menu item, the app gives no feedback to let you know what you selected, it just waits, then sometimes the screen will blank for 10 seconds or so. The menu icons on the bottom screen are pretty much useless as only some of them actually work. (floating chat bubble is interfering with the bottom menu). I was trying to make a transfer, tapping repeatedly on the “transfers” icon, but nothing happened. I ended up reinstalling the app, but this didn’t fix anything. The only way to execute a transfer is by selecting it from the dropdown menu at the top left. It doesn’t have to be fancy and polished, but basic functionality and stability should be requirements for a bank app!
I live in Bethlehem directly next to your Bethlehem branch. Most bank employees no me being a neighbor and having saving and checking accounts in your bank for years. Friday I went to the drive in to get four five dollar bills to send in Easter cards to relatives. Anyway a new young woman was at the window I ask her to give me the four five dollar bills. She sent a withdrawal slip I filled out and sent back. I awhile all the time the line was getting longer. I was then told I need to give them a new form of identification because my last one was in 2022 I told her to get Ronald the de facto branch manager who knew me . Now people behind me are leaving or blowing their horns . Ronald was not helpful or sympathetic so I send my driver license up the shoot and time is elapsing. She comes back with Ronald who reiterates they needed a current I’d to wait on me and I would need to fill out another withdrawal form. People keep leaving. I send the new withdrawal form then had to wait awhile more. Finally I get my four five dollar bills so I could send out my nieces Easter card. Totally unnecessary!
This newest update has somehow made this app even more annoying than before. The moving chat icon on the bottom of the Home Screen gets in the way of the actual icons I’m trying to tap and sends me to the virtual chat. Also, ever since I’ve gotten this app it has been a challenge signing in. It takes 3 attempts everytime. The first time it doesn’t work, the second it says failed login and then finally on the 3rd try I can sign in (and this is with Face ID). Whoever is in charge of updates for this app really needs to get it together. Really shouldn’t be that difficult.
First off the app made me change my password when I did not want to it didn’t give any options when I reached out to see if I can keep my password they flat out said no. I changed my password and now I can no longer log into my account on my phone. Now I’ve been on the phone for over an hour trying to get something even a shread of help but nothing will help me. I can’t get anyone to talk to not even through fraud I just want to be able to use my money yet my account remains locked. Its safe to say I will not continue banking through my business or personal. Completely left to dry…
I have been using the app because I don’t have a computer or laptop to work from. Every time I need to log in, it takes two times trying to get in, then it just says error. The third time logging in finally works. This is every time I need to look at my accounts on the app. I heard the website was updated but what about the app? I’ve been stuck with it as long as TSB is my bank.
Log in problems, often takes 2 or 3 attempts to get to main screen. A variety of errors. (e.g. network errors when trying to view accounts error loading creditwise widget.) Chat button gets in the way of navigation buttons. Long story short, this app could use a bunch of bug fixes. I don’t need extra options, just make the ones you offer work.
Log in’s are a continuing problem with software. Sometimes it doesn’t go through, or obtains only half my information, or is super slow. Internet connection and speed are normal.
this app is great for banking as long as you have time in your day to sit around and wait for it to load every time you open it. 90% of the time i use this app i have to close it out because something isn’t working. i love thomastonsb but the app might be the reason i switch banks.
I really like this new app and find it is super easy to use. What is also great is the face recognition to access my account. I was also able to establish an external transfer between another account I have at a different bank. And, now with iFi I can keep track of my expenses. My experience has been so great, I am moving all my accounts to Thomaston since it is the best experience to access and manage my accounts!
This app is fantastic and suits all of my banking needs. Has great new functions like the iFi which tracks my spending and makes it easier to budget. Would recommend to everyone!
Some of the new features are great. I love the new budget section, but I do not like the new layout for the account section. I used to be able to switch back and forth easily. Now you try to go back and it takes forever to load if it even loads at all. And there is no face recognition anymore. Why take out that? It was one of the best security features. I’ll continue to use since there is no other choice. I just feel as though this app was not ready to go.
I’ve been a loyal customer for almost 8 years and the last month or so I’ve been having lots of issues with trying to understand the app when it looks like I have money available but in reality I don’t. Hate to leave after so many years but if this app continues to move downhill and makes it harder to understand I’m going to switch banks
I heavily rely on mobile banking and I used to love this app. The latest update fixed the issue of the app not opening again after I closed it, but now I have problems logging in. I’ll get network connectivity issues and the Face ID doesn’t work at all. Hopefully they can fix it soon!
8 out of 10 times there is something wrong with the TSB ATM that I go to , I’ve resorted to just going to Torrington Savings Bank to use that ATM because it’s that much of a toss up if TSB’s ATM’s will be working . After the change ( it’s been a couple weeks) my app just thinks and thinks never lets me in , I don’t ever know my balance . I’m going to make a bank switch soon , sad after 28 years !
Sometimes my app just doesn’t open. I’ll open it do something close it. Then a little while later go to open it again and it will NOT open. Super frustrating. When decides to work it’s a great app. But it doesn’t always work.
Absolutely love the iFi feature. Helps me manage all my accounts (internally and externally). Assists me in my daily budging and spending as well. Love the new upgrade!!
I’m having a problem of sometimes I will close the app then try and go back into it and it opens then immediately closes itself. Like is this gonna be fixed or not
I’m annoyed because the app looks nothing like the preview it is showing in the App Store. It’s slower than the previous version and more complicated. I really don’t like the new update. Plus, it took forever to change so many of my online automatic money transfers did not work so I did not have money that I needed for two weeks.
Takes over 5 minutes to load the home screen most the time. Lots of times when I click a button in the app, nothing will show up. This app is a glitch fest. Apps that hold sensitive and important information should not be this unstable.
This app is suppose to be the new and improved app but it has constant glitches, 75% of the time doesn’t let you login, and the bugs and issues are never fixed. 2/10 I do NOT recommend.
The new app takes so long to load. I have to keep exiting in and out or just sit there for five minutes in order for it to load. Never works with Face ID and end up having to sign in with my password.
I just went through the 10 minute process of being able to use my account on my phone, and now when I try to open the application, it doesn’t even work and backs out to the home screen.
Check depositing feature is trash. Works about 1 out of 15 attempts, extremely annoying. Now I’m no photographer but I can manage endorsing and photographing properly, yet constantly get rejected deposits. Please fix this for the love of jesus.
Not sure what happened but up until recently the app was working fine. Now, it crashes nonstop. I try to open the app, and it immediately just closes. I might get it to work properly once a day if I’m lucky.
This app takes forever to log in! It just sits there and spins. It’s slow loading once you so get in and it’s not as user friendly as the old one. I don’t like it
The new TSB app is very easy to use. I love how convenient and fast the account services are, Especially the ACH/ Wire transfers and approval function. I highly recommend this app to every TSB customer.
The old one was better. No Face ID/easy access? Not user friendly at all. 99% of finance apps are 5 stars and fantastic. This makes me want to switch banks.
