Edit 2: Customer service solved my issue quickly and I have updated the rating in my review to 5 stars. There is no reason for a negative review being that my issue was an internal glitch that was easily resolved. Edit: I reached out to customer support as suggested. I requested either a refund or a fix. They responded (automated I presume) that they have received my message. I will keep this review updated and will increase the rating based on customer service. Original review: This is the second year in a row where the app does not pull and collage my top photos, but instead, just a mixture of more of my recent and lesser liked. Is there a way to get my money back?
TOP 9 is my favorite app when it gets closer to the end of the year. The app picks up the best post accurately in a couple of seconds. This year it is also enriched by the videos and reels! Many lovely additional features, such as statistics per post, per whole year, nice and catchy tagline... so simple but efficient.
Very few templates, but better edit options than some others
Cons very few edit options few templates (less than a dozen) barely any templates that allow an actual TOP 9 limited to only top images of the last 3 years, cannot customize the range beyond that (like month, quarter etc) All square ratio for images cannot put the stats you cannot do reels/photos only Pros you can reposition your image within the template to do a best crop to the square-as a photographer that is a must you can choose to have your videos show animated you can do a single fave photo of the year post generation (only one template) low price for lifetime license to use and no watermark
I went ahead and purchased the lifetime subscription as I figured I would probably use this each year. Shortly after I thought I completed the purchase I was prompted to again purchase a lifetime subscription but this time at a discount. I checked my account and no purchase had gone through so I thought maybe it failed so I purchased again. The next day I see receipts for both purchases! Why was I prompted again and why did it let it go through if I had already upgraded!
Great choice of layouts for a single top nine post. I appreciate the extra customization features, thanks to which you can design each template into every little detail. The likes count is correct - I double-checked!
I am a video editor and I downloaded this app to see my top 9 posts from 2021. When I downloaded it, there was only one template I could use without having to pay (it had no title or anything, just 9 boxes of photos), so I clicked it. Then I realized that it only allows photos instead of videos, and when I tried changing it I realized I would have to switch to pro. This was a letdown for me because I’ve always wanted to do this trend and I came back disappointed.
Well done! Super-easy-to-use generator of the best posts for Instagram. I appreciate you are not limited just to one template option. Even more, all the templates can be customized further, so the combinations you can create are unlimited. Go for it!
I am not willing to share my IG password anywhere outside Instagram, and this is the only TOP 9 app that doesn't ask for it. Safe and reliable app with a great selection of customizable templates.
Blurry images, cut off stats at bottom, no watermark at least (pro) I like that I don’t have to log into Instagram to use it, I can simply give them the handle for my public account and it pulls up the photos easily Update: customer service lady Veronica was very nice and kindly recreated the images for me :)
Update: Buyer be aware - if your account is set to hide your likes, this app won’t be able to generate your top 9 until you unhide all the likes on your posts. Also, your page must be made public to generate the top 9. With the work involved to unhide all the likes, you may want to reconsider your purchase. Developer should have this noted in the app description/information page, but it isn’t.
Actually pulled my top 9 and allowed me to save just a grid with no borders and no watermark… except I had to pay for the borders and watermark. Not the worst thing, but maybe make it like $0.99 and don’t require a subscription to do it??
TOP 9 does exactly what it's supposed to and doesn't ask for my password. The best nine pictures collage with statistics was quickly created. Well deserved 5-stars from me.
My 2022 recap looks flawless. Even though 2022 was a miserable year in many aspects, thanks to this application, I realized the year brought me even some pleasant memories. Thank you :)
Appears to be “creating your grid” but nothing ever happens. Don’t waste your time Update: customer service replied (as you can see) but the problem IS selecting a template. I picked the standard 9 grid since it’s the only one available for free and I get a loading screen but it never actually creates the grid for me. I gave up after several tries.
Finally best 9 photo creator not crashing all the time. The collage looks fantastic. To be honest, the dynamic video switcher is impressive, I haven’t seen it anywhere else. Thanks! 🙏
It made me go through all these hoops to log into my private account and then it said that because my Instagram is private (even though I gave it permission to access my photos) it wasn’t able to rate the “popularity of private account photos.” Isn’t it all just numbers? There’s also only one template option for non-premium users. Simply not a functional app.
Don’t buy this, I paid the 1.49 and tried one template. I went back to it and it would not work anymore. I didn’t even really finish the first template. I wanted to look at my photos before finishing but it would t open anything for me. Again don’t buy this, and if you did request a refund!
I thought by purchasing this the text at the with the apps information would clear. Well that is not the case. You either have to crop it out or forget the whole app and just do it in photoshop. Horrible waste of time and money. I will be seeking a refund!
If you’re doing your IG top nine, wherever you share your results to will show up with seriously low resolution. I shared to Facebook and the pictures are SUPER grainy and look awful. I’m an artist and this is embarrassing. I can’t believe I paid for this service, I absolutely could’ve photoshopped something better for free.
I assumed this app would actually work since it requires a subscription fee… This app missed half of my top posts & 50K+ likes, according to IG analytics. Do not use this app until they can figure it out. Will be disputing the charge.
So far this is not working And why do you have to send me push notifications? I have waited an hour and still no top 9 pics. This seems to be another rip off product.

Downloaded this app for the first time. Touched the button to get my Top Nine for 2022, and a blank white screen appears. No options. No choices. No way to contact support.
The 9 images the app chose were NOT my most popular posts . No way to correct their mistake . Also charged more than noted. Tried contacting for help but did not get a reply back.
It repeatedly tells me my profile is private and it is not. I’ve even tried to trick it and made it private and switched it back. What a waste of money!
