The app has biometric login but it is unhelpful when logging in because it wont let you. It always says “ you are not enrolled in biometric log in” but when I log in the long way and check the settings the toggle is already pushed to green so I don’t understand. I think the company thinks they dont have to put any effort into a well performing app. We just want the things to work as they should which is not asking for too much especially since you are charging an up front annual and membership fee. Do better.
So I make my payments usually, on the 4th of each month. They are always paid out of my connected checking account. This past month, I made my regular payment on the first, and because I have a few extra funds, I made another payment (from my same checking account) on the 13th. The payment from the 13th was processed and my balance changed but my available credit stayed the same. After about 2 weeks i finally called and was told, I needed to Mail or Fax my bank statement to prove the payment had cleared and they put a suspension on my card for multiple payments. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ANY NONSENSE LIKE THAT! I made the payment from the same account I’ve had linked to my card for years and now they’re suspending my card because I made 2 payments in one month??? If you can avoid this card, I would do so! Not only am I unable to use my card, but because I don’t have access to a fax machine, I would have to mail my bank statement and wait for them to receive it before they unlock my card! Crazies thing I’ve ever heard. OH and they told me if I pay the remaining balance I can close my card, so they will take my money from this account to close my card, but won’t take it to make an extra payment?? Horrible!!!!
Besides The Bank of Missouri being an absolutely horrible bank (and it is truly a HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE bank), this is an absolutely horrible app for a horrible card. Frequently I run into problems just using the app. For example, I updated my address when I moved and it recorded it backwards: it placed my apartment number and Mailstop on the first line of the address instead of the second where it placed my street address. The post office doesnt like that, according to my post person. I've changed it five times and when I save the information, it switches the first and second lines of the address without fail. I cannot get it to accept the correct address order no matter what I do. I've also encountered numerous issues when trying to make payments; the latest of which being the app throwing an error indicating that the payment server cannot be found when I try to submit a payment. I've checked my Internet connection and every other app on my phone works except this one so I don't think it's my phone or my connection. My experience with The Bank Of Missouri and its app has been exasperating to say the absolute least. I cannot under any circumstances recommend this card, this bank, or its accompanying app. Sign up for and use all of them at your own peril.
Everyone do yourself a favor and just use self credit building loan after you pay 300 on your loan they wil allow you to put those funds on a credit card then u have two account reporting it’s raised by score over a hundred points then u get this card and it drops 20 but anyway …..So this app apparently doesn’t even show you the real balance or up to date details of your card I make multiple payments a month when I spend more than I would like to and its does t matter apparently they still make you wait till after your due date and new monthly cycle to even use the funds I was told to go to myccpay to see it all and it won’t let me register on the site at all I give up but I’m told if I pay the card off and cancel it’s gonna negatively affect my credit
That of course I can’t use. Just like the original invitation to create an account on line which wasn’t compatible with an iPhone, this app will not recognize my account. My card recently expired which I wasn’t aware of. Instead of notifying me they sent me a closed account notification. I called to pay my bill over the phone, (another hassle) the message said my account wasn’t active and transfered me. They accepted my on regularly on time payment and a week later I received a new card in the mail. It’s mind blowing that in this day and age, I have to call them and continuously enter pertinent information to just pay my bill. They’re still doing things old school. I hope they fix the problem and make it a available to all card users. It would be greatly appreciated. Ps. Thanks for your response but the MyCCpay is not compatible with the iPhone. You must use a computer to create an account. In that regards, since I don’t have an account there, I will not be recognized in this app. I’ll contact customer service. Maybe they show me how to get around it.
I’m so tired of setting Face ID only to be kicked out every other time and being told I’m not using it for this account. Every other account I have my Face ID works every time. I don’t have to keep opting in. Like come on now! FIX THIS! It’s ridiculous!
Over $120 of merchandise on the table at a store that I've frequented MULTIPLE times in the past, and this card was declined THREE separate times. I contact customer service and was told that I cannot use this card at this particular merchant in person or online because they "might be trying to hit me with recurring charges" - DON'T YOU THINK I'D MENTION IT TO YOU IF THIS DID HAPPEN??? So now I have to wonder & worry when I try to use this card because some system-generated list could decline my card because of this??? COME ON ALREADY.
Awesome card , and as we know this is a 2nd opportunity credit card company. Where the APR is high, but a second opportunity to start fresh. For the person that commented above “ so far not good “ the way most credit card companies accepts payment is how you described it. It’s an ACH and the funds have to be guaranteed before they can apply it.
I glad that there is a app now for Total, and it works great. My issue is that I still have to use the website because it does not give me the ability to pay multiple accounts. So the app is no good if I can only use it for one account. That’s why I gave the app 3 stars. Once the app is updated to be able to add more accounts I’ll add the other stars.
Do not!!! Please do not say you were not warned! Do not apply or consider this option for your financial needs! Aside from them taking exorbitant deductions for the PRIVILEGE of using their card which is not good whatsoever. You will never be worthy of a credit increase! It took them when I applied for credit increase 5 seconds to say no! I’m buying my house and have been working on getting my credit on track, but Total does not work with you at all! Stay away!!
I received my card in the mail today and went to register it on the app and it won’t let me, so I had to do it online. I went back to the app and it still won’t let me sign in after registering online. What’s the point of the app if I still have to go online. I’m disappointed and frustrated with it all.
How can one get assistance over the phone when none of the numbers provided the emails, comments, letters, websites do not work? I’ve tried every number associated with the Total Card and none have worked and it’s only been to activate my new card and I’m starting to think it was a bad idea to apply with you guys after so many failed attempts to contact customer support/service.
Please don’t ever lose your card. Total makes it almost impossible to get a replacement card when you call they ask you things like what bank was your Total Card drawn on what were the last four numbers of your credit card? How many people have that memorized? Maybe I’m exception, but I don’t and again their customer service is extremely lacking.
Steer clear of this card unless you want to be charged a fee for everything and the app won’t let a person submit a payment if it’s on the date it’s due so they can charge you a late fee of $42 and they also will charge this fee if you pay after 4pm. Terrible customer service and not a good card at all. Stay away from this card!!!
This is a good helpful app. Only problem is I have 2 Total accounts, one regular Total and one Total Select account. I have to go online for the Select account. Sure would be great if the app developers would improve this!
I have been trying to see my balance and also see if I needed to make any payments to bring my credit limit back up to $300. I can’t even log into the account, and every time I request to reset my password so I can receive account information, I never get an email back with my credentials. What’s going on with this bank?
I can’t even log into my app anymore. This card let alone bank has been a complete inconvenience to me. I can’t even use the card with a Fortune 500 company to pay a bill. All it does is decline advising that this merchant is not valid. T-Mobile could buy your back at the snap of a finger. This is obviously violating some type of federal law. This is very inconvenient.
Stay away from this card, I got a 300 credit limit and had to pay 95, plus a 75 fee which dropped my credit down to 225 on top of that I was paying my credit card off and they did not report that to the credit bearu, they only reported that I had a negative balance which dropped my credit score 20 points…. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CARD IF YOU ARE TRYING TO REBUILD OR ESTABLISH RAISING CREDIT SCORES…
If I could give no stars for this card I would. I have available credit on the card and more than twice now it has been denied Wilber presented for payment and use. I have never had this type of issue let alone embarrassment. At this point, I’m just going to close the account and save myself further issues.
This app is very suspicious. It randomly disabled my account twice and when I called to get answers, the representative agreed about the questionable situation. The website is even worse. One website for multiple credit cards and you’re unable to merge. Leaving you with access to ONLY one account. Make it make sense.
I set up auto pay and nothing ever came out. For 2 months no auto payments. Now they sent me a late fee. Each time I attempted to pay my account full it would give an error message. Something shady is going on and will close my account plus be contacting the BBB. Stay away from this company
The new update made me reset my password. Only problem is it continues to say my user name is not found. But when I verified my account everything was fine. It just refuses to let me sign in no matter how many times I verified my account. Long story short I cannot sign in with the new update.
I was easily able to have my card charged for the program fee but its a problem making an account on the app and website. Definitely want my moneh back due to that. No telling what other problems I'll have if I made an account.
I was able to use app to log in now it won’t take my information so now I can’t log in to pay my bill….called customer service when web page didn’t work and still cannot log in…..
Im unable to use the app now due to updates required. Click on update brings you to the App Store click open which should be update brings you right back to the requires update, delete app and re download it it does the same thing.
My credit card company changed to this app for unknown reasons, but it does not work! Using the correct login doesn't work, trying to re-register doesn't work and the change password option doesn't work!
This card and bank are always being hacked. They take all your money and then say you did it and are responsible. I will be filing a law suit against then because of the hit they impacted n my credit.
no chip on the card, doesn’t work at Walmart, freezes after transactions and takes hours to days to resume normal usage. low budget and would NOT recommend.
This app worked fine in the beginning. I can try to login on the app. It say incorrect user name or password. I use the same login information on the website it works just fine!
I have an account already, but it won’t let me log in saying I don’t have an account. I can’t register, I keep getting non specific errors. Really wish I could use this app
I can no longer sign in on my App. It’s not acting as if it’s been hacked, it’s as if the app just completely froze up. Even my thumbprint doesn’t work.
The worst costumers service ever! They charged me $ 35 to get the card faster, but guess what I haven’t received the card in 14 days. Total rip off with $85 of so called program fee. Don’t waste your time and money.
So this app isn’t a great app I can’t log in when I use my face won’t let me my ids and my password doesn’t t work won’t let me do anything so really sad
