I race autocross, and this app allows me to map the track while I walk it before racing. One issue that I found is that the first few points are always way off because gps hasn't yet stabilized. To fix this, I usually start the tracking, stop it and discard the track once gps is stabilized, and then start tracking again. Another suggestion to the developer is to omit the degree symbol in the output. I have to remove it in Excel before I can plot the data. Otherwise, it works great!
Installed the app yesterday. Timer works fine, all 5 of the rest of the info boxes display lat/long and cannot be changed. One reason I chose this app was for other info, like elevation. I was told by app support that this occurs in iPhone 5S, 6, and 6 plus, and will be fixed with the next version. Whenever that is. If the problem is fixed, this will be a handy app at a good price.
It does what it needs to do. Tracks and records position accurately. It’s nice that it also supports NMEA export. But the UI is so terrible I can’t I spend more time trying to use the product that it’s worth. Other trackers are slightly more expensive but way easier to use.
This app records your tracks into files Features: - Log latitude, longitude , altitude, speed and distance - Save data in CSV, KML, GPX, TCX (Garmin) , FITLOG (SportTracks) and NMEA files - Support both Apple map services and Google Map - Support background logging - Share file via AirDrop - Upload file to iCloud Drive (For iOS8 or later) Note : Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
