Trigon : Triangle Block Puzzle

I have been playing 1010! For 5 years now and I love it very much, but it’s too predictable now. I was looking for something similar to play and this was it. The people who say the pieces are random are wrong. You just have to keep playing to figure them out. There’s 15 backgrounds you can buy with jewels, I’ve been playing for a year now and I have all of them. I with themed come out with a few more.

This game has some awful glitches that make me craxy. I have deleted the app from my phone and waited a few days and reload. Try closing all my open apps. I tried turning off my phone and rebooting it and nothing helps. I am not sure if it is the app or my phone to be honest. When I go to place a puzzle piece in a spot it will suddenly jump to another spot, which is seriously frustrating if that move can clear a line or multiple lines. Also just when my score is doing well all of a sudden the game goes away and I am looking at the app on my Home Screen. That is the one that makes me want to throw my phone!!!. I play this game every night before I go to sleep because it tends to make me sleepy and relax but that glitch is annoying and anything but relaxing. I have removed the game for about the 10th time in a month and at this point I won’t reload it again.

To start, it was rather confusing to start with. There was no real explanation in the initial startup tutorial thing, so it took a couple of rounds to get into it. After that it’s been great. It’s an easy way for me to kill a bit of time, but this thing absolutely KILLS my battery. I’m on a brand new phone, and it’s battery can last two days without charging with anything else I do on it, but this one used nearly half of my battery and I was only playing for an hour collectively. On top of that, my phone gets really hot when I play it for more 15 minutes. Other, more complex games don’t even do that, so it just blows my mind. I’d love to be able to play it more, but I worry about the strain it’s putting on my phone.

This is a great game, i think, because it is so simple yet so hard to win. It’s a lot like 10-10, but with the triangular pieces, it’s like a 3D game on a 2D plane. What i don’t understand, and i haven’t been able to find any instructions on, is the purpose of the diamonds (they’re actually red, so wouldn’t they be rubies?). I’ve got thousands of them, and you can even buy them, but why would you?! They don’t do anything for you in game play (e.g., give you the ability to rotate pieces or swap pieces). If someone could explain why you’d be dumb enough to spend real money to buy virtual diamonds that don’t do anything, i might’ve rated this 5-stars.

I love the idea of this game a lot and I rarely download and play a phone game. This game has a sleek style and it draws you in... BUT there is no rhyme or reason to the shapes you’re given to play with. It’s near impossible to use any true strategy in order to win. If there were an option to rotate shapes, or even be able to see the next three that were coming so you could plot moves it would be SO MUCH BETTER. Playing any game requires at least a little gratification for players so they want to CONTINUE to play. Instead it sets you up for failure and doesn’t give you the shapes you need to continue playing. The best thing about this game is being able to work for new skins. Ugh. Anyone want to band together to create a similar app that’s actually winnable?? Haha

Although the game is moderately entertaining, it needs a lot of work. Like others have mentioned, the only ‘goal’ is to beat your previous score which leaves the game pretty boring. There is no way swap pieces if they don’t fit (even if you had to use gems to buy them) so occasionally you can lose the game just because you were given three pieces that don’t work. The ads are the worst part. I don’t mind an occasional ad here or there, but not only do you get them after every round, but you also get them if you pause the game. Then, there often isn’t a way to exit the ad even after it has finished playing, so you have to completely close and restart the app.

I love the game! It’s engaging and just challenging enough to make you think, but it’s not all-consuming. My complaint is the ads!! There’s no muting the ad sounds, and that’s a bug problem when you need to play quietly. I'm happy to view ads, but these won’t close. Where is the countdown for the X to appear, so the ad will close and play can continue? It’s not right to force your players to go to the App Store during each ad. This could kill your game’s playability and popularity! Please! Make changes to your ad presentation.

This would be more enjoyable if there were levels or a goal to reach at a certain point. Simply trying to get a higher score doesn’t really make it too exciting. Also, none of the buttons are labeled which makes the home screen and others screens confusing. I don’t understand why the eye button is there to see my past plays? Nothing is explained and there are no clear tutorials at the beginning of the game. However, I do really enjoy the game and think it’s a great idea. So simple, yet so time consuming!

What’s the purpose of getting points? Is it really just so you can change the look of the format in which you play (dark background, light background, kitty background etc.)? That seems like such a waste. If you want to make this game even better let us use the points to by “helpers” such as rotating the pieces to fit the size of space we need. That would be a great feature and I bet you’d get more purchases on this game If you actually gave us something worth purchasing

Addicted. I’ve taken hiding from my children, general family members, friends...even the ones I like. They say, “why can’t you stop playing? Why isn’t this game like Tetris?” yet they can’t answer if they’ve ever felt true love before? These pieces fit together better anything ever will, and in its simplicity and arbitrary point system I find freedom.

Though I enjoy playing, it’s getting increasingly more frustrating losing simply because I’m given pieces that will not fit. If there was an option where you could trade a large piece for a smaller one with the cost of diamonds that would be nice. Or have the option to delete or purchase pieces with the cost of diamonds. Just about anything would be better... I don’t really get the point in playing a game where it all depends on what you’re given at random, no strategy. I’ve actually lost because all three pieces I was given would not fit, that’s quite ridiculous. Something needs to be done...

When I first downloaded this game, I would’ve rated it 5 stars. But, lately, many of the ads are disturbing. A man being electrocuted, a woman crying tears of blood, people freezing to death, etc. There’s no option to block Gardenscapes and Homescaped ads, so I have to close the game every time they appear. Homescapes even appears on the bottom banner ad, making game play impossible unless I want to watch a man be electrocuted repeatedly. It’s disgusting and abhorrent. Please stop showing these ads or give the option for players to block these ads. I don’t mind the Bumble ads or the “eat the yellow cubes” ads, but the Gardenscapes and Homescapes ads are repulsive and need to go!

The game itself is really fun and a great challenge, but my problem really lies with the ad placements. There are 3-4 ads in a row and often times they’re impossible to close out of, forcing you to close out of the app completely and reopen. This is especially an issue when the game runs short, which happens often, as ads are placed after every single game. It’s rather frustrating and makes the entire app pretty tedious and annoying. I’d really like to give this a higher rating, as it’s genuinely a fun game, but if I have to spend all that time and effort to play it, it’s not worth it.

This game is actually quite enjoyable, but the advertising program is too aggressive. Not only does it put banner ads across the bottom, but between each game it makes you watch and/or participate in a commercial for up to a minute. Many ads won’t let you close out of them until they time out, and then after you press the X, it takes you to a second page for the same ad. I get that the publisher is making a lot of money selling ad space, but it depreciates the end user experience. That’s disappointing.

At its core concept this is a brilliant puzzle game, like a six axis Tetris. Fun, and addicting. It’s aesthetically pleasing and also has a variety of aesthetic options for you to unlock and sound design is good. However... Upon playing a couple rounds you realize that the pieces they give you to work with come at absolute random... it’s has come to many occasions where I will have a move set up only for it to absolutely fail due to the random nature of the pieces given. There have even been instances of me not being able to continue my game because none of the three pieces in the sequence fit on the board... The game is broken.

I’m a big fan of Trigon, but since my phone updated to IOS 14.1, this game freezes constantly. Typically it occurs when a new ad pops up along the bottom. I can’t move pieces or do anything. I have to close the game and start again. I deleted the game and reinstalled from the App Store, and it still happens. Want to keep playing but with it freezing every time I play, it is too frustrating.

I love the game. I love it so much that I had some of my best friends download it, absolutely converting them to Trigon addicts. However, there is only 1 complaint. As I play the game, it tends to freeze mid placement. I’ll either place a piece and it freezes or I go to swipe for a new piece and it won’t let me move a piece. I have to close the app, re-open, and then continue where I left off. Please update and fix the issue. Thank you for Trigon.

I love playing this game to pass time! There’s just one small issue. There’s an audio that recently started playing over and over; and there’s no way to stop it. It’s one of the ads playing music and a character crying and saying “help”. I’m not sure if this is happening for others but it’s happening for me and it’s quite annoying. It might be a big issue with the app itself but I’m not sure. I’ve already deleted the app. I’ve done that about 8 times already. I don’t really understand what else it could be or why it’s happening. Sorry if this review was all over the place but I tried my best to explain the details. I hope this review was helpful. :)

Clean graphics, simple concept, fun theme colors. I enjoy playing this puzzle game everyday and during my down time. My only complaint is that it is VERY difficult to reach a score of 500+. If there were options to remove a shape that has already been placed and rotate at least two shapes to make them fit into the hexagon, this game would probably have more 5-star reviews.

Like other reviewers, I like the game. Fun, way to play a few games and stop. I do find the ads very annoying and play it less or just force close the app and reload the game rather than sit thru some ads. And the keep repeating the same ads. It’s one thing to have game ads, etc. But the Alt Right and Hardcore Christian ads are extremely off putting. The game does eat battery life too. I wouldn’t play this without being close to power.

I love this game so much. I find myself playing it everyday and wanting to play it more than any game on my phone. The only thing is is I wish I could remove ads without paying :/. Other than that the concept is addicting and fun. One of my favorite games :)

This game is super interesting. Only 2 drawbacks: there are a lot of unexplained icons offering and tracking things with no way to find out how to use them! Kind of a waste...It also doesn’t always save the game you’re playing. It returns you to a clean slate- the drag and place movements could be smoother and more reliable. Cool game overall though- also lovely use of color!

A good portion of this game is luck of the draw, so it’s not really a puzzle game as much as a hope you don’t get screwed because you can’t see your next piece kind of game. Also, it was billed as a Tetris-type game. Pieces are fixed in position, so you don’t really get to solve a puzzle, you’re just moving pieces onto the board until you run out of space (which happens quickly because you can’t see upcoming pieces to plan ahead). Needs improvements.

This game was somewhat easy at first, but then became frustratingly difficult and has not fluctuated in that at all. Not even worth playing anymore because the fame ends before I can get into it. Menu options are show by pictures/icons — literally no words — so if there is a way to adjust level of difficulty, I can’t find it. It’s a shame because I did actually like it a lot when I first got it. Oh, and the ads — two before every game and some last as long as 30 seconds each.

This game is fun and addicting but the ads after losing a game are awful. I can handle the simple 20 second ad then closing out on it but there’s an ad behind that one that forces you to completely close out the app and reload it for it to disappear. It’s rather aggravating. Also with there were different levels to play. Change it up a little bit. Add some variety.

The game is fun and easy to figure out. However they don’t update the game regularly causing it to not work. I’ve been trying the same puzzle for a week because it keeps freezing. The last update is what I’m assuming the issue before worked fine before. The biggest problem is that it won’t get update for at least a month or more making the game totally unplayable. Just fix the crappy update.

I love this game. I’ve had it for about 8 months and have loved it from day one. But within the last month or so, the game freezes, which require closing the app and reopening it. Some times the game starts where you left off and sometimes it starts over. I can’t play for more than 15 minutes before it happens. Really makes me upset when I use it to relax.

The who purpose of a game is to captivate ur audience and get them to fall in love with the game. This game is nothing but a bunch of frustration. Its set up so that you lose. Period. I challenge anyone to get over 1k in points. You start to notice small things like how they dont give you the pieces u need. Ive even had a game go 18 turns without giving me the piece i need only to find out in the next round that those were the inly pieces that i got. Terrible game. I will never download anything from these developers.

I played a very similar game with a rectangular shape, but over time it became too easy. I was looking for a game to challenge myself and this is exactly it! It’s the same concept as the last but much harder! I will definitely continue to play.

We love this game but it is infuriating because it NEVER gives you the shapes you need. They do not come randomly like Tetris or 1010. It takes the fun out of it. It will drop the same few shapes over and over and you could go an entire game never getting a single triangle, for example. Both my husband and I have this issue. So disappointing.

There is minimal game design—it’s pretty, and the concept is great. But there is clearly no additional effort expended besides getting the game to work so people can play it and watch ads. It needs a level clearing device, or level goals, or levels at all. It needs more thought. And since I’m one of very many saying the same thing without changes in the game being made, I suspect the ads are the point.

I enjoy playing this game, but feel frustrated because it seems set up to make you lose. You get pieces that don’t fit the spaces you have available more than ones that will work. I would recommend making this more sustainable so it doesn’t feel like a set up for failure.

Great game but for an ad between each round. I’d pay a bit to get rid of them but there is no option for it. Ad from Enbridge is especially galling as they prefer their profits over our precious Great Lakes.

i always rank at least top 100 in this game bc i play it day and night. i love this game so much especially because it’s more difficult than the square puzzle games. however, it’s a huge battery drainer and now it doesn’t update anymore. without updates, it freezes and crashes and just overall doesn’t work well. it’s a shame because it truly is a wonderful game, albeit simple. if it were any other game i think i would’ve quit already, but god i love it.

The game looked great at the beginning, but, what is the point of collecting more diamonds. There is no help at all, no undo, nothing could save your high score even no option to see the next shape for higher levels or scores. Now, I see the game is so stupid...

Game ok. Have to use your brain to place the puzzle together. My one complaint is the advertisements. You can “X” out of first advertisement but the second one you can’t. You can’t get out of it and go back to game. You have to completely come out of game and go back in to the game. Deleted game because of it.

I like to do exceptional every 5th or 6th time when I’m having a go at a game. If you keep everything organized they will not send the “good stuff”! I am a bit OCD and like it neat, I mean I get the challenge part of stepping out of your “box” but for a simpletons game there should be some more of the “everyone gets a trophy”! Not all the the time but occasionally.

Most apps tend to go overboard in teaching you to play the game. This one doesn’t. In fact I can’t figure out why there are options to get more red diamonds because I can’t figure out how or why to use them. You’d think the game would prompt you to use some diamonds do you could figure that out.

It really is super fun but the glitch with the ads are getting so annoying. Everytime I try to move the next piece it pops me into the App Store. Also I get an ad after almost every game which gets annoying. Besides that it’s been fun and challenging

I like the game, but am confused as to how to get hearts, at first I thought if you made a round circle, but that’s not it, so I am confused, also if you were to write the rules it might help with confusion. Anyway I do love the game. Thanks

Love this game, even though it was really confusing in the beginning. Wish there were levels or any way to track progress. It’s been terribly glitchy for the last few months, freezing and then shutting down almost as soon as I open the game. I’m disappointed.

After my wife divorced me I had nothing left. She took the kids and the house, all I had was Trigon. Iv been playing for over a year and have only managed to get 943 which is very difficult so someone please give me tips

Look game developers, I will sit through ads - but lately many of the ads in this game specifically are politically slanted and frankly, I am not willing to have to see ads that ask me to take an NRA survey or to be told that “they” are trying to take away your guns/rights/whatever - either lose these ads or I’m simply going to exercise MY rights - and DELETE the game. There are LOTS of other choices.

I can’t really give feedback on this game because the Lose Ratio is so high, I rarely play for longer than 30 seconds. It would have been nice to just relax and enjoy the game.

Easy enough to figure out but there’s no clue what the diamonds are for. So why would you purchase any in the store 🤷🏼‍♀️ Is there a high score to beat? Looks like it but can’t be sure. I would just love to n ow what the diamonds are for

It seems like every other update you guys push for “bug fixes and performance improvements” is a bad version. One day it’ll be working perfectly, the next time I update, the game is super laggy and slow. Please do some more testing before you push! International XS Max 512GB user.

Good time waster, mindless game that’s easy to play. However, recently the game has an annoying background music that I think is some embedded ad. I can’t get rid of it because no ads show up since I purchased the game. Extremely frustrating. Please fix.

Love this game, been playing it for years. But since iOS 14, it’s been freezing and shutting down

This was really good until a couple updates ago. I love to play it when I’m just bored, but now it constantly crashes and freezes my phone until I have to completely shut it down. I have tried multiple times to uninstall and reinstall but the same problems arise.
