I am giving this game five stars, in part because I love reading comments from whiny Americans who believe the United States is the only country that exists and every category and question should US-centric. Then they have the audacity to tell the creators to broaden their minds and learn about other cultures. The absurdity of those types of comments alone are a good reason to play and rate. I like this trivia app for questions and not many repeats. But all of a sudden, ads pop up way more?! And my one biggest complaint before was I wished they did more trivia categories. Needless to say, I got excited when I saw the recently added 30-40 new categories. Of course, “for purchase” ugh. I’m down to pay for the app, but it costs 1,000 jewels to play one new category. To buy 500 jewels, cost $10. So if you want to be able to just play any of the new categories, it would cost $20 per one category (1,000 jewels). For all 30 - 40 new categories, would cost $600-$800! Most apps just do one annual subscription which is fine- at like $20-$50 one time purchase. I would pay that, but then should get to play any category. Maybe I’m wrong and there’s a way to just do one annual purchase for all categories? If so, let me know and I’ll update my review.

I like this game. I’ve had about 1600 questions and only like 1 in 75 is a repeated question and it took a couple of weeks to see even one. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 is because the scoring is not clear. There are numbers in the top right hand corner like a 45 which bounces from 45 to 44 or 35 but I’m not sure what they represent. You get a bonus when you answer 300 questions in any category but what’s the bonus? I’m on level 12 but not sure how far it goes or if there is an end to the game. I’ve checked the settings to find out these things but so far, nothing that I see explains the scoring. That being said; great distraction with lots of new questions. I’ve picked up a lot of knowledge from this game.

New update. Feb 2024. Caution. They occasionally sneak in a question that only has an opinionated answer. Not fair at all. They fixed the first part of my review below but not the second. I’m not interested in questions about what scientists speculate on or what racist anti-semetics “think” things should be. Shame on them. Stick to actual facts please. Used to be a lot of fun. Now the program is so lame it hurts. Regular long delays. Finish one round and have to wait and wait to get a restart for a new game. Having to wait and wait is most unacceptable. There’s no reason for it. Or is there???? Update. Sept 2023. Using Artificial Intelligence for answers??? You do know that is an oxymoron? Synonyms for Artificial: unreal, contrived, hokey, fake, false, imitation, counterfeit. So your answers are based on that? I must find a game whose answers are truly factual, not made up.

Really enjoy the game but the most recent update changed how the questions are weighted. It used to be you were given 6 questions and a bonus question. That way whatever your score was based on the 6 questions you had the bonus question to boost it but if you got it wrong and it would not count against your final score. Now with the update, if you get the bonus wrong it counts against you which defeats the purpose of a ‘bonus’ question. You might as well just have 7 questions and don’t call the last one a bonus. Fix that and you earn the last star. Cheers

This is a great app if you are interested in trivia as trivial pursuit is the classic gold standard. However this app is sorely lacking in content. As an American who has selected America as my country and American English as my language in the settings I am constantly given questions that use meters and centimeters as well as many questions involving British terminology, references, and slang which are not used outside of the UK. Terms like Ladybird (Ladybug). Weather it’s that all science questions use the metric system or the absurd overabundance of history questions concerned about British royalty in place of what should be world history questions, this app fails to accurately transition the original card game to a digital platform. The lack of impartiality that this app has is a huge deficit from the original game and it begs the question: if my paper game can be made as a North American edition how can this digital platform not follow suit.

I’ve been playing the game for a couple months now, and have added a bunch of optional categories. These newer categories have a significant number of typos- spelling mistakes, words not capitalized, and one question was missing a fourth answer. I like the game in general, and it plays quickly enough, but in some cases the wrong answers (distractors) are so stupid, it’s insulting. I have found a few questions, though not many, with wrong answers. It appears that in the haste to add categories, the editing was lacking.

This Game is an amazing game I would highly recommend it for anyone who is really smart! It forces you to think very fast and keeps your brain simulated! If you end up downloading this game make sure to turn off the option to ask questions with pictures because it shows pictures that you might not want your kids to see.

This game can be very fun to play. Unfortunately, it has gotten less so with all the dumb gimmicks. Fine for many, but not for all. I just want to play the game and answer questions. I hate all the nonsense all over the screen that spin and blink and rotate and flash. There should be a setting that allows us to turn all that off so we can just play the game. The ads already get in the way. Now all that other junk cluttering up the screen does, too. At this rate, I will never update the game again, as each update causes more needless, gimmicky garbage to get in the way of the actual game.

I sometimes have trouble where countries are and. I’m very uncertain of sports times where held etc. I am almost 75 and these things did not always concern me growing older as I had family not raise . Things I remembered well were more important I believe. I would like to see more about animals and such. Doing a good job all over though. Thanks. To raise sorry

So first off I’m nine and most of these questions I don’t even get. Most of the ones that I do get (which does not happen very often) is always in entertainment. Also every time I try to get an extra life it always says video unavailiable which is pretty crazy other than that it is an overall fine game. Although please make it more for kids!!! Thanks 💝💝💝

Good enough game, but this is now the third time it’s frozen after a few questions and become totally unresponsive. Nothing you can do but delete and reinstall. Hard to recommend under these circumstances.

I really like trivia, so this game brings me a lot of fun as well as a lot of challenge. I like that I can go from category to category depending on what kinds of questions I’m in the mood for. What I don’t get is when I answer incorrectly, the game summary indicates that I’ve gotten every question correct. There’s no competition against others, so it’s not a real problem; just wondering why it happens.

I have noticed some answers are not only incorrect but completely wrong. Like the one about the teeth condition where it is about having unusually small teeth but you have the answer as too big of teeth. I have run into this often enough lately that it makes me wonder about even playing it.

Just an example regarding biathlon competition in olympics: what caliber rifles are used? Choices are 7mm, 7.62mm, 5.56mm, and .22mm. The closest is the expression of .22 caliber (.22 inches) = 5.56mm. The supposedly correct answer is .22mm.... Pencil leads aren’t that minuscule. Also, having set US as the area for me, I am saddened to see so many UK questions regarding sports, etc. I get more discouraged every time I play. Perhaps the creators will put some effort into correcting these problems, but I note that there is NO mechanism for reporting errors in the game except this.

Enjoy the game but find the occasional incorrect answers frustrating. One particular example is in the Sports category when the face of a clearly female athlete is shown and the list of possible answers are all male except one female. Then she is incorrectly identified as one of the male athletes. Fristratimg!

It’s fun, but after maybe 8 or 9 games you start getting questions here and there that you’ve already answered in a previous game. And for me, I’m getting questions I already answered correctly. It would be one thing if they once in a while duplicate a question that you previously got wrong, but that’s not what’s happening…

What is the purpose of changing it so that the bonus doesn’t count for anything if you get it correct but counts against you if wrong? It used to be the bonus would make up for a missed question. Now it’s rarely possible to get a perfect score. At least make the bonus worth something.

Every time I give a wrong answer, it says I can watch a video, but then gives me the message that no videos are available and try again later. I play the game, but have no idea how I am doing. The score increases with correct answers and then resets without an explanation.

I enjoyed this game until they changed it. You used to get two wrong answers before you had to watch a video to continue which would sometimes let me finish without having to watch an ad. It added to the challenge. The recent update only allows for one wrong answer. Will be deleting as the excess ads are annoying and take away from the fun.

Every time I get a correct answer my score goes down??? Even when I answer quickly it still goes down. Otherwise, the game is fun but I wish they’d fix how the scores work.

Fun game. The main downside is even if you turn off ALL sounds, as soon as you get an ad the sound is back ON for it. Very annoying especially when you’re playing the game somewhere you need to be quiet. There needs to be a feature to DISABLE all ad sounds/noises.

Really enjoy playing this game. However ~ Getting a wrong answer causing you to repeatedly watch videos?? Not a great way to play a game and very unnecessary. It’s rather annoying and despite having a blast playing this game(!), this particular part of it is a major pain and often keeps me from actually playing!

I am sick and tired of people acting like cricket and other crap is a “major sport” add racing and American football to special categories along with basketball, baseball, etc. y’all can’t do anything other than Olympic sports. It’s so stupid. Learn other stuff. All of that aside it’s a decent game

One or two wrong answers, but when you go to report it you always get “error try later”. Watson and Crick did not invent DNA, they discovered it! And bears are not true hibernators. Aside from the few mistakes the game is great fun, although I wish they were more questions in each round.

This game is ok a lot of the questions are hard I would not get this game if young and I do not like how they give you a time limit and it does not let you change you answer I would get if I was 12 up so I think I am going to delete it. bye thanks for your time

This game is fun to play plus I don’t win all the time. It’s challenging and makes me think. We really enjoy playing. Thank you so for a great game. I’m in my 70’s now and still like playing.

Best trivia app hands down. I like having to answer questions about things I don’t know about. When that happens…you learn something! Excellent app.

First you took our gems from the daily spin and cut them in half by creating a new category on half the wheel stations. Now we are forced to sit through a 30 second ad just to see our final score and receive any gems from that game. I will be deleting this app, and making certain to never use another app made by this company.

This game is amazing to play in the car. You can read the trivia questions/answer possibilities to the driver. It's a fun way to pass the time , especially driving slowly through a snowstorm!

I’ve been going nuts at home during this covin time and this app has helped to challenge me and keep my mind from going to mush. It’s fun and I challenge my friends/family too.

Your last update also changed the scoring. The last question which is supposed to have a value of two points, only credits one point. How is it that with every update you make things worse?

Loved this app for ages, but the latest update has made it completely unresponsive to my touch and can’t open it… I’ve tried deleting it, but it just goes back to open and then nothing🤷‍♀️

During questions with sound I cannot hear the sounds even though my phone volume is turned all the way up and in the settings the sounds are allowed…

I was playing this game and I like it. Until a question came up about a golfer and they asked “what is weird” about them. And the answer was she used to be male. WHY IS THAT WEIRD. It’s people like you in this world that are the reason are trans youth and adults want to end their lives. This is despicable. There’s nothing weird of WRONG with being who you’re meant to be. FOR THAT YOUR GAME GETS 1 STAR WHEN IT SHOULD GET ZERO!!!

I coached quiz bowl teams for years and my interest was renewed when I discovered this app. It's fun, especially to track results. I recommend this as a way of staying sharp in retirement years.

A fun app now has advertising BEFORE you get your score in every game you play. This changed in the latest update The developer answered my complaint. You can remove all ads by pressing the yellow button at the bottom of the home/main display. What he didn’t say, to remove ads will cost you $1.99. This app is still too ‘loaded’ with advertising!

Love the game and would love to share it with my grandkids but you have a sexual game as on it. Really!!!!! Not good. There are so many other games you could promote

I enjoy learning and can do this with this game. I don’t like questions about very old history. I am not interested in who did what and when. I don’t like sports questions and hate flags. I also don’t want music questions. I am very tired of queens and kings to.

A wide variety of questions in several categories. Only negative is the photos to identify are too small to see important details and there is no way to zoom in or enlarge the photo.

Love playing and getting random questions, some answers choices are too easy and evident. But overall a good game! Keeps you sharp!

Can’t play much anymore, the last update let’s ads play sound no matter what the profile settings are. That’s unfortunate. Hope they pay you extra for that ‘feature’.
