Ease of App and ability to see upcoming is great
I’m writing two parts to my review. Firstly, the app is well-designed and simple and to the point. If you want to add services it is easy to do so using the app. It also allows you to see when the last service was. The ability to see detailed invoices is there though I take advantage of prepayment discounts. Secondly, on the subject of pricing. While it is fairly easy to determine a set price for yards, I think that there should be wiggle room for returning customers who can make a great case for service like trees and shrubs as my landscape only contains approximately ten trees and shrubs in total though I am paying an amount that I would expect to be for 30 trees and shrubs. However, I am going to reassess once I see how it all looks. We have a new home with new plants so I want to give an appropriate amount of time to make the call on trees and shrubs. I could definitely tell a difference in the lawn within our first few months of using TruGreen after we moved in so as far as lawn service goes they are awesome!

App needs a lot of work, Technician good, customer service poor
My lawn looks great, but the scheduling stinks. I agree that a one day notification is not enough time. Also, after calling the corporate office, and getting a free service and a half, the local people had no record of the agreement. After a couple calls the first service was scheduled, done and when the second came around, they charged full price. Then to get it corrected they had to cancel my service and get me signed back up. Now I get credited for the full price, and charged for half as agreed to. But still had weeds (no sign of curling up or dying), so called back and got another free service. All looked good. My main complaint is the local customer service, different answers to same question from different customer service reps and the app itself. I am continually scheduled for service, from 8 am to noon, then noon to 5 and finally they come at 6. I agree with another review about their dogs. When they are not supposed to be in the yard for 1-2 or up to 24 hours until the spray dries, you really need to know when they are going to show up. I am a master scheduler and have been for 25 + years and I’d be fired if I couldn’t get the scheduling done right. It’s key to keeping customers. And also I have to laugh when I see the canned response to these reviews all looking like they were copied and pasted. My god, read the review and reply appropriately, don’t patronize the reviewers with the same answers.

App is Great Lawn Service not so much
I was only a TruGreen customer for a few years. They used to be known for great if not the best lawn service provider. Besides being the highest priced service provider I’ve used at my current address, there service technicians were the worst. 1. I’m not sure if the technicians are employed or subcontractors. We didn’t have the same person for most of the services. They wanted to drive equipment on lawn when wet which creates ruts, instead of dragging hoses around yard. When service was due or expected a driver would pull up front or drive by without stopping. Had to point out organic gardens to every one that eventually showed up. Last straw was when nearly all of potted herbs on patio were sprayed with herbicide, they offered to pay money for replacement. This was early fall and all plants had not been bought, but had been started with seeds by my wife. Some that year but many were numerous years old. She had invested so much time in growing these plants. Secondly after canceling service, they tried to get me to restart services at either a discounted rate or a “free” appointment. This company used to have great technicians and great customer service. I think they no longer have local customer service.

Glitchy App
I've been using the TruGreen app now for a few years. Initially, it worked seamlessly, and I could navigate the tabs without issues. For the past year (I didn't open it much during the winter season), trying to open the app on the home page or through their text messages brings up a loading ‘leaf.’ I've waited to see how long it stays flashing- 3 minutes is the longest that I've attempted to sit and wait with it still not uploading. I ensured I was connected to and even changed wifi connections to see if that would help. I figured that maybe it was just a glitch that would be fixed over the off-season, but it is still not loading, and it won’t let me see where the technician is when it texts me to check. Overall, at least it can navigate through the other pages pretty well and ultimately do what it should. It’s annoying; seems like it's not going to get any better after all this time, and I'd rather use the webpage over the app at this point.

Needs a Tweak
I couldn’t be more pleased with the lawn service. My lawn has never looked so good. But the app does not make it easy to message the Tech scheduled to service my lawn. Sometimes I need to let them know something, or to request an added service. But on IOS, the chat feature immediately covers the text entry line with the keyboard display, marking it impossible to see what I am typing. Trust me, I need to be able to see what I am typing. You guys are experts at lawn care, surely you can fix this…

Terrible App
This app is a design failure. I have an iPhone. Opening the app takes forever as a leaf flashes too many times. If you click on something it doesn’t immediately register you selected it. Even then, the app’s green leaf flashes for an incredible amount of time. You cannot schedule appointments or reschedule appointments even though it says you can. The calendar to reschedule worked only in the beginning (had the app for almost a year) and then just stopped working altogether saying “no appointments are available”. You’re better off calling customer service, and everyone knows the entire point of the app is for convenience and not having to call customer service. There’s nothing convenient about this app. Even if you want to “track the technician” it’s impossible with this app. You’d think with all the money TruGreen makes that they would hire decent developers for this app-but no. I haven’t had a god experience with the app or with TruGreen service. Maybe you’ll fair better. This is a failed app.

Doesn’t lessen phonecalls
This is not a service app. It is only a notification and store app. If you want to see an incomng service (when it works) or you want to buy a new service this app can do that. If you want to schedule service, reschedule service or even ask about services, you can do none of that. So for me personally the app is worthless. I have to pick up the phone if i want anything done. I needed to know when my first service would show up. Nothing in the app, had to call. I needed to schedule a follow up service. Had to call. Technician canceled and I saw it via text (not the app). Aaaand I had to call to get them to schedule a new time. But only sales was open so they put in a note. No one rescheduled, so I had to (you guessed it) call Trugreen again to get it scheduled. The app provides zero value to the consumer. Trugreen as a solution so far seems to be working. But it’s all up to me to make sure my weed program is successful. BUT props to the phone service and sales folks they are great! The app is not.

TruGreen’s service is pretty good. But their App will make your life worse.
I’ll start by saying I think they have a great product. Works as advertised. I subscribe to the weed and feed residential lawn service. HOWEVER... The app is complete garbage. It has caused me to have to leave work in the middle of the day to put my dogs up multiple times. You can’t change or cancel your appointment same day because there is a risk that the driver will not see the message. This has happened to me 3 times. One of those times the driver beat me to my house after they sent him a message to not spray. He sprayed the chemicals in my yard while my dogs were not put up inside (I have a doggy door)...the same chemicals they tell you to keep you and your dogs away from for a few hours after application. All of thus could have been prevented if their app wasn’t designed and maintained by cheap talent and even cheaper UX budgets. GPS is never accurate when displaying my location or their truck’s location. Why provide GPS and a live map if it’s always wrong? No map would be better than wrong info. ETAs are rolling 1.5 hour windows that update every minute. From “10:05-11:35” to “10:06-11:36” and so on. Please tell me how that is valuable. Notifications are sporadic and often non existent (day-before reminders, day-of reminders, etc.) So as long and you don’t have dogs to put up, gates to unlock, and you don’t care about being caught off guard then you won’t have a problem with this app.

This appt has been useless Reschedule service calls
I downloaded this appt because their main # suggested it instead of calling. But every time I try to reschedule the next service call there is no option to do that. The Request Help button says it’s out of service at this time. The FAQs says to call the main #. If you click on Last Service call, it will show you your Next Service call. But there’s no option to change it. I got a text saying TrueGreen was coming today and to see the progress click on the link. The link took me to the app & there was no information about it. Another time I did come across the progress report & tried to reschedule it but button didn’t work. I’d say the app is a big FAIL for this function. So I’ve been calling the main # and have called 3X to post pone my service til after Christmas, I got another text today (the third text this week) saying their coming today the 23rd!! I’d say their system in the main office is a big FAIL too!

Support chat needs works
I like a lot of things about this app. The one place I see a lot of improvement can be made in his persistent session connections to chat. If you happen to accidentally swipe away from chat and go back to chat, it kills that previous chat session and starts a new one. Meaning, if you’ve already explained yourself (investing minutes to explain to a level 1 support person), you have to start all over. Also, the chat session is very fragile, meaning if you briefly lose cellular connectivity, it won’t persistently check for a connection reestablished and present the messages that may have been queued up. I know this is very specific, but is huge for customer experience (CX) when we need support leveraging the chat feature on the app. Fix this and will get 4 stars.

Rating the app, NOT TruGreen
I used the app both on iPhone and iPad. Main issue is that the app (on both) has an extremely annoying loading icon that locks up the entire app and shows *every single time* you go to/from a particular page, even if you were just at it 10 seconds ago. As a developer myself, I beg you: Why can’t you use caching? Why is this happening so frequently? Why not just load stuff asynchronously as well (so you don’t lock the entire app and just have some items pending load, other items available for interaction)? So much of the app is locked up when I just need to do a thing that doesn’t need to be locked up. Seems like a poor app architecture. ALSO: On iPad, it’s *locked* into a portrait layout which is very bad for me since I primarily only ever use iPad in landscape mode, so that’s annoying as well.

Unreliable App and Service
The app only works about 20% of the time while mostly giving the error message the app is not connecting. Also I spent a month ensuring I always had a specific tech to service my property since I have an unusual property line. I spent time with the tech walking them around the property to ensure they knew the layout. I was then ensured this tech would be the one assigned to my account. Now a new tech went to my property today with zero knowledge of the property lines. Since I’m not there, I had to call support (a total joke in of itself) to ask why another tech was dispatched. The support person acted as if I was bothering them and I had to constantly ask him if he was still on the line. Very unprofessional service. I’ve already paid for an entire year upfront and now I’m starting to regret it. Might have to look elsewhere if I want professional service to care for my property.

More Capability/Improvement Needed
The app is great if you want their phone number but that’s about it. I wish it described one’s service they are about to receive. I do not want to call the toll free number to find out. It’s nice to see where the technician is in terms of day-of service but it would be nice to be able to text he technician while in route to let the them know their customer wants to talk to them before the day’s application/service. While I was treated fairly by TruGreen after the fact pre-emergent was put down in a service after I had just done some overseeing. Had the tech talked to me first and the type of service I was going to receive was in the app this could have been avoided. Like I said I was graciously compensated after this snafu but I think the app could have the additional capability I described above. It’s a great start for an app but there is much improvement needed.

Cannot unsubscribe from services in the app
I like the look of the app. Services are in general good as well but some are very much not worth it - notably the tree and shrub service we got on their advice for our fruit trees that were suffering from maggots and other pests. There has been no improvement to the situation. Then either form the service or the app, it’s not possible to unsubscribe from existing services after you opt in. You have to call, where while not being car salesman pushy they do try to make you sign up for more services. The app and websites do allow you to add more services though. So overall the lawn service is worth it, and we may try the aeration and lime treatment. But know that you will get the old upsell very regularly, and some of the services are recommended whether they will be useful to you or not.

Highly Unethical Company
I would love to say that this company is top-tier. They were hired to take care of our lawn and the people who signed us up were responsive, considerate and seemingly helpful. That all changed soon after our enrollment. Every treatment had to be re-done as the each treatment was not performed thoroughly or well. Good thing they have a "guarantee"! So, they re-treated each time, which was fine... but was a bit of a pain as shouldn't it have been completed the first time around. After the fourth scheduled treatment and continually having them to re-do their shoddy work, I decided the cancel the service. Big mistake! Since I pre-paid, they decided to not refund me in full even though they did not have cause. They ended up charging me for their "free" follow up guarantee treatments even though on their invoices it showed "free". I asked for invoices to prove why they were choosing not to refund my rightfully due funds, and they simply broke off all communication and will not respond to my requests even though they said they would provide them. Long story short, this firm does shoddy work and is highly unethical in their billing practices. If you do choose to chance it and use them, which you will ultimately regret, do NOT prepay... you won't see your money back... ever.

confusing app needs improvement
the app is confusing. under Account, I wish it is clearly what are the services under the plan I purchased, which has been completed and which remains - all in one clearly listed and tap to view. right now I know there is one service left but if I tap on it nothing happens. so I don't know what the remaining service is and approximately when it may be scheduIed. I do appreciate how when something is completed they write up a detailed report. Also, there is a section that is called Services - it is not what I had purchased but what I can add on in addition. So when I try to look up what actual services I have, this section gets in the way because it's for me to buy extra, not what's in my plan.

NOTIFICATIONS DON’T WORK
I have this app installed on both my iPhone and iPad. What I like the most about it beyond the fact that it is intuitive and easy to use are the notifications. They let me know in advance when a technician is coming. On one occasion I was able to change the service using the app because it was going to conflict with other work. However since the last update the notifications simply don’t work. They appear in the app but there isn’t any notification on the devices even though they are turned on and set to persistent. This defeats the main benefit of this app and makes it all but useless. Please fix!

Homeowner
This is the most difficult company to work with in my 50 years of being a homeowner. In spite of the advertisement in our local newspaper, they do not. I repeat: they do not come… “visit your property as often as needed between scheduled visits to make any necessary adjustments and to ensure your satisfaction “ I have called their ..”we can be reached “ number. A woman says they are coming to your house Thursday for regular visit so just wait. They didn’t show up so I called and this time a different woman in another town says, “You weren’t scheduled for Thursday. They will be there next Tuesday “ !!! I have talked to 4 …count them…4 different women in four different states. I’ve gotten nowhere. My yard is dead in about 30% of its area. And guess what-I payed for the year. I’ve learned my lesson. Stay away from this company!!!!

App needs work.
It is nice idea to be able to see your invoices, scheduled services, and access customer service. However, the customer service portion of the app is awful. It is easy to get disconnected, and you have to restart if you do. It takes a lot of clicks to get to a representative. Also, the keyboard hides your text if you write more than a line or two. As far as the TruGreen lawn service goes, I voiced my lawn concerns when I first called and my greatest concerns were ignored. They signed me up for the cookie cutter weed spray program. Maybe it was just a new agent that was learning, but it was my experience and it was frustrating. Hope that my future experiences will improve, or I will go somewhere else.

Terrible service
This is the 3rd time that my service has been cancelled. Usually they say the service person has arrived then immediately followed by the service is cancelled. There is no service vehicle outside my home. However, today the vehicle was down the street. I walked to the vehicle and asked why my service was cancelled. The driver said he had no more product. Besides the poor service I’ve had a real problem with the eliminator weeds. The longer in between the services the worse the problem gets. You wait on the phone to talk to somebody and they say they have a reduced work force. The app is terrible for communicating which they push you to do while on hold. I am about to cancel their service and hire a local small business that cares.

App doesn’t work
I’ve downloaded the app and reinstalled several times and cannot get this app to work. Either a plain blank white screen that never changes or when I actually get it to open the Login/Create Account screen the app crashes. The sales people for the services are great and efficient, unfortunately after speaking with the sales person you have to wait for an “auditor” to confirm your purchase. The first time waiting for the auditor I waited for 40 minutes and had to hang up. The second time I waited on hold for an hour and fifty minutes before talking with the auditor who asked 3 questions and ended the call. I haven’t had the best experience with the company as a whole. Will likely cancel and go with someone local.

Almost Perfect!
I highly recommend this app. It covers all your account information, services, etc that are part of your current plan. I docked it one star because it lacks the ability to modify your plan in the app, and only lets you select a limited number of additional services. It would be nice to see all possible services available to select and schedule right in the App vs having to call or go on the actual website. In my case the app doesn’t give me the option to request an aeration service and overseed. If they add those features one day I’ll update my review to 5 star.

Chat feature - requires unnecessary input
Within the chat feature, why would you require 4 fields of user/household information to be input? The user has already been authenticated and the account has been selected. You would have all of this information accessible to the chat function already. Worst case, display what you have and allow edits/confirmation. Additionally, the chat requires multiple questions and responses that are essentially nothing more than a keyword search of your FAQ. It is not an intelligent response system. Please simply direct us to FAQ if you can do no more than this.

Really
I was excited to have the plan as my lawn would be weed free, green and grub free. After that treatment, my lawn was filled with patches of burnt grass. They sent out “specialist” to assess. He stood there with hands on hips and his words were “it looks like they used to much chemical on the lawn for grub control”. When asked what would be done about it, he was going to tell supervisor and have them get to me. Actually, the one star is highly overrated! For poor ratings the nicknames are taken. I’ll try giving stars that are not true.

Overall helpful app
Overall this app is helpful. One change I would like to see: The number of paid applications remaining should be more prominent and not buried under a button on a screen that gives a total number of applications completed for the year and the number recommended remaining for the year. It’s just confusing. I’d like to more quickly be able to see how many applications I have paid for, how many are completed and how many remain so I know when my next purchase needs to be made. I shouldn’t have to dig through 3-4 screens to find that info.

Borderline Fraud! Don’t use their services.
The app is okay but the services by the local office was a borderline fraud. I live in NY. I signed up for an application-by-application non committed lawn service agreement. In November, the local office charged me twice for two fertilization services on the same day. Usually these two fertilizers are applied at the same time and only charges for once, but the local office squeeze both of the remaining services into one and charged us twice. I cancelled my account and will be using local landscape companies. Also, they usually give notification only one day prior to the service and sometimes on the same day. Doesn’t give sufficient notice to customers for any modification. Do not recommend!! You are better off with local landscaping companies.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced
My lawn looks HORRIFIC — new sod as of 8 months ago that was treated by TruGreen from the start and never touched by another company. I have dead patches and now brown spots from the nitrogen treatment they provided to “green up” the grass after I complained about its state. They came out to my house, never called me to discuss the problem, and its condition is worse since their “free” treatment. They purposefully make it difficult to contact anyone to get service, snd phone calls are not returned. If I hadn’t prepaid I’d have fired them six months ago. As it is I’ll have to hire another service to fix what they’ve damaged, if that’s even possible. I’m probably looking at replacing some if not most of my backyard. I am LIVID.

Need Improvements
The app is great, however, it requires a few improvements to help customers. 1) App shows date of the next service, but does not inform the customer ahead of time the type of service that will be performed. 2) Push Notifications on the app do not work. I have my notifications turned on for the app and turned on push notifications from the app as well. 3) When clicking on “View Last Visit” it does not display the pdf file on the app itself. The pdf file is displayed on the web browser. 4) The app does NOT allow the customer to view the type of services that are remaining. 5) It would be nice if we could click on “Services Completed” to see within the app which services were completed for the year. 6) The app should automatically generate a schedule keeping in mind the rest period. For example, if the lawn is treated for weeds, the program should not allow aeration and over-seeding to be scheduled till 2 weeks after the previous treatment.

App not working right
Hello, I did not want to leave a negative star rating because I think you’re just having issues with the app. Normally the app works really well but the last month I have noticed that you cannot access any notifications that you were given and when you try to hit the home button on the app, it just spins with the leaf, I did try calling customer service but she kept asking me if I wanted to reset my password. That is not the issue. I think there’s something wrong with your app. I do have the latest update downloaded as well.

Was put off
The guarantee state when you see weeds between services they’ll send someone out. I called 3 weeks before the next service to state there were weeds plus the yard didn’t look well. I was told the next service “should” take care of it. Frustrated I called again a little over a week later. I was told the other call didn’t get a service order so she’d send someone out. They still aren’t here so guessing they are again waiting until next service date (May 31). We are not happy at this time! We have questions and concerns so at least come out and check the yard and go over our concerns with us.

App needs a lot of improvement
The only things that this app is helpful for is letting me know how many services I’ve had, how many services are remaining, and letting me know the day before I have a treatment coming. It would be very nice if the app let me know specifically what past services have occurred and specifically what future services are remaining, not just the number of treatments completed and remaining. Also, more than just a one day notice would be nice as well. Not related to the app, but worth mentioning: So far, I’ve been very underwhelmed with the health of my lawn this year when compared to using other lawn care companies.

App needs work
The app is poorly made and the UI is rough. The buttons along the bottom of the screen don't line up properly and the font runs off the screen in both bottom corners. There also seems to be wording behind the camera part of my iphone. Why would they put text where every single iphone has a dead spot? Often the app just won't load at all. Or when you click on a service it has it may fail and just has you call in to get it resolved since the app doesn't work. I gave it two star just because I love the idea of it and I wish it was as useful as it claims to be.

Poor lawn
Well I have complained since first application I had a beautiful lawn several years ago. I tried them. 👎it took me three or so years to get lawn back. I was sold. Bill of goods in the spring. That is nothing short of humorous aftef complaining they sr t a guy back. I am loaded with crab grass weeds an d a brown weak lawn !! I have an . Irrigstion system aod watef plenty !!! Never again. !!! They dilute the product way too much it’s the poorest lawn in my neighborhood except the neighbor who just doesn’t care sadly ! I only eush I could show before and after photos !!!! A lesson hurtfully learned !!! I will end up reseeding and getting it back myself sadly next year ! For the second time !!! Use some fertilizer not liquid water that obviously doesn’t work

Sleazy business practices - avoid this company!
Even if you sign up for a set number of services and are told you have 0 services left on your account, they’ll still show up one day and perform more services and charge you the full price. I didn’t request that service. No way to cancel through the app, you have to call their customer service. Refused to full refund me for the service that I didn’t request. The equivalent of the guy who shines your shoe as you’re walking down the road and then charges you for it. Pathetic practice, and I advise anyone reading this to avoid this company. Who knows what other ways they have for cheating you and doing dirty business.

Push Notifications no longer work!?!
TruGreen app push notifications no longer work! Settings are correctly on for push notifications, but the app no longer sends them through the app. You used to be able to track your technician on the day of your service but these features are no longer working in the app. Please fix!

App is disappointing
The service through Tru Green is great but this app needs a ton of work. It’s 50/50 on if my account even shows up connected to my address when I open the app. When it does show my account it takes opening and closing the app too many times to count before I can get my invoices to show up let alone open. The contact function which is supposed to allow a live chat does not work. Not ever in my case. I have talked to customer service over the phone and they were great, they helped me with everything I needed but I have to call them to communicate instead of being able to utilize this app. If you are going to bother having an app please make it functional.

Not so user friendly app
Lawn is beginning to show signs of healthy growth and greener than ever. Scheduling and navigating the application is not user friendly. I find the app is designed for the actual technician and not the client. They definitely need to review and reevaluate the app based on customer suggestions. Personal experience with app, an easier way to schedule, view upcoming appointments and clear explanation of what services you have prepaid.

Notifications & Services Scheduled to 👎🏻
A notification for next scheduled service is sent out 12-24 hours before the visit. Two things. 1. There is NO detail about what service will be performed. Please share the service detail info with your customers in the notifications. 2. The 12-24 hour window notice is way too short. Please provide at least 48 hours so your customers can plan accordingly (i.e. moving things in yard, pet’s yard access, etc) Nowhere in the app can I easily find a quick & easy list of what services I agreed to, which ones have been completed and what’s next on the list chronologically.

App is good but service suspect
This app is very high tech but the salespeople that come to your home and calls from salespeople to upsell you more service gets to be too much. Also, what the salesperson tells you is different once they put you in the system. They’ll say it’s a one time service but in the system it’s a continuous service plan that auto-renews. Also, I was charged for aeration service that I don’t believe ever happened. The system said they did I never saw any holes or plugs on my lawn. Also, if they did aerate, why did they not call me to let me put flags on my lawn to mark sprinkler system lines? I’ll be going back to my local lawn service that offers a more personal touch.

App Needs Defects Fixed!!
The app is a great idea - but it never works!! I have the latest software for iOS and a newer iPhone. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, but realized it’s the app itself not something I can control. As soon as I have a date scheduled it does not send the notifications I’ve enrolled in and it does not display the scheduled date, I have to call every time. The only reason I even know a date is scheduled is because the area where it says “no date scheduled” stops loading, that’s my sign that there’s some action. Live tracking doesn’t work either. Fix your app and add driver comments in app instead of a long printed receipt.

Took my money
I downloaded this app and purchased a plan service. This was a week ago, the service was prepaid and I haven’t even received a call or message to set up a date. I attempted to use the app message system to speak with a representative, but it continuously says, “you have a chat open in a different window, would you like to switch to that window?” But there are no “yes” or “no” options to switch to the window. I cleared all browsers and tried again, same result. Then, I attempted to call and got placed on hold, once; and got a disconnected number the other attempt. I paid nearly $200 and have received no communications or services.

Buggy app
Apparently, the updates you made two weeks ago has caused the app to not function as well as it did prior to the update. It’s been about a month since I used the app and yesterday when I went to look at my service invoice, the app opens to the homepage and then crashes with a completely white screen when navigating to other parts of the app. I can only force close it to get out of it. Deleting and re-downloading the app gave me the same result of not being able to see anything. The only way I can look at my service now is by going through the website.

Not Terrible
It’s nice to be able to look at my account, change services, etc from the app. However, the real time tracking of when the tech will show up never works. I don’t know if it’s due to the app or the tech not providing the info. I get a text with a link to track on the day the tech is to arrive and the link never works. Just takes me to the app where no tracking info is provided. Frustrating when I’m trying to manage my dogs in the backyard.

Barely Usable - Full of Bugs
Problems with any type of interaction with app. You can read what is displayed, but if you need navigate back to a previous window, you will have to restart the app. Also, that button to add a event to the calendar, does not work and instead will display a Paige with coded text instead of an event in your calendar. Overall, I would say that the app is worthless and anything you need to have done will require you to go to the website. Whomever is in charge of designing and maintaining this app needs to be fired because it is simply an embarrassment to a nationwide company.

Still new
Overall I think the app is nice to look at and pretty easy to navigate. I have, however, had some issues. I had trouble registering my account because it wasn’t even registering my email for about a day. After calling customer service, they got me set up. I decided to prepay for my service, and because of that, it seems I cannot see how much individual parts cost or anything. It just says paid. I was hoping to see some sort of invoice or document that explained what I paid for. I would like to see the description of what the service will be so I can ensure it was input correctly, and just to see what I’m having done. I can’t currently see any description. I would love an option to leave comments to my technicians if I forgot to mention something. I can’t do that without contacting customer service. That seems like an easy fix.

Helpful, but could be improved.
I appreciate the app notifications about my scheduled services, but I wish the Notifications were displayed on the front page, which defaults to “Account.” To see the service details, including the scheduled time and map of how far away the driver is, I have to go to Profile, then Notifications, and then tap See More. I often forget and have to tap every menu option until I find it again.

Good but slow
App is good and enriched in features, but it really slow. If you get any notification and you tap to open, it will take too long to open. 2nd point, if your service is scheduled and you get notification, it will open Home Screen of app not the notification tab. 3rd many times does not show the location of the TruGreen vehicle on map, instead it shows my location. Not sure if I am the only one who is facing these issues.

No link to live Tracking map
I am for the most part happy with the app. The only real issue I have is that there is no link in the app to go to real time tracking to see where the service technician is on his route. We get the text messages that says the technician will be there soon and provide a link to see where the technician is but, when you tap on the link, it takes to to the app and then there is no way to get to the map on the app.

Convenient app but...
I’ve been using the app for about 2 years. I’ll admit that it does come in handy. You have access to what’s happening and when. The problems I’ve had is changing your billing method. It wouldn’t register the new card even after it was changed online 2 months before. My other issue has been using the chat feature. Every time I use it, it tells me that I have a session open in another browser which I do not. I end up having to call every time.

Personal information is shared...
If you value your personal info and hate scam callers, don’t give your info to TruGreen... I used the app to get a quote, and had three calls within an hour from “MCI Metro ATS”. The first call, someone spoke and asked if I needed a quote for TruGreen service. As I spoke, he hung up. The second call was the same number, but it was a different person, and they were trying to convince me that I had outstanding debt with capital one. They wanted my social so they could “verify” their information. The last call, I answered so that I could request to be placed on their do not call list, and they hung up immediately. I am expecting many more calls from them over the coming days and weeks... Needless to say, they will share any information that collect on you ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. They must be subsidizing service costs by selling your information. I was legitimately considering their service, but I wouldn’t give them a dime now.
