Would you like to see your Corporate credit card transactions??? You can’t do that in this mobile app. Viewing anything other than basic info is difficult if not impossible. And that’s AFTER you log in! Their version of MFA is incredibly clunky and works only if you know the exact sequence of key strokes required to get from their login screen to the number generator and back to the app within the short window of time allowed by the random number generator. I’d say that you should only use the online app, but it really isn’t much better. Truist needs to get REAL people to test the usability of their apps. After a 50+ year relationship with this bank and it’s forebearers, they have about driven me and my business away.
I have tried to deal with this TRUIST APP since day one, I PUT IT ON MY IPHONE, IT DOES NOT WORK RUNNING THE LATEST (iOS version)! I also. Put it on my iPad! The same, it does not work! These APPS are terrible! They work on my Desk Top PC, but not on my other devices! When are you people going to get your act together? Find software programmers that know what they are doing! Obviously the present programers are clueless! Put a FIX out to correct the issues I just stated! Test it!
Slow to apply charges when paying bills and not showing the charge until past midnight, if you are under you have no opportunity to transfer money but they are super fast to charge for their fees….
Take your money away from Truist and run away from it
The story is too long to go into completely. Just know this, this bank is a thief! I had an incorrect charge to my account that took my balance below zero. I called Truist to let them know that there was an issue with the charge. They offered NO help or protections of my money. They told me to deal with the merchant who charged me incorrectly. Zero assistance. It took me 2 weeks to have the merchant refund my account which should have bought my account back to a positive balance. During the 3 weeks in total that this issue was occurring Truist stole $252 in over draft fees from my account. They were charging me for over drafts caused by the over draft fees and incorrect charge from the account. When I called to complain, they offered no help! They said they will TRY to get me a refund on 2 or 3 of the over draft fees. But would have to get back to me! I asked them to stop paying out charges on my account to avoid more over draft fees. They said they couldn’t do that. I ask them to close my account, and they couldn’t do that over the phone. They told me, during the middle of a global Covid pandemic, I HAVE TO go into a branch and meet with a rep in person to cancel my account. Now in order to stop the never ending loop of $36 fees, I have to risk my health and physically go into a branch to cancel my account!!! And I am out what will be more than $300 in bank fees. Take whatever money you have in this bank and RUN to another bank. Bank of America has dropped their over draft fees down from $36 to $5 and offer protection from incorrect charges, because they care about their customers and aren’t a bunch thieves.
