The new app has a nicer layout and I think it’s just as easy to navigate through. I transfer money between accounts all the time and that’s still working properly! My only issue is that PENDING charges do not show on my accounts so it makes it easy to potentially overdraft my account! I need to be able to see what is pending and what the current balance is with the pending charge- and not thinking that the money is there or the charge didn’t go through.
In looking at the privacy section in the iOS App Store I see Trumark is collecting a lot of information that doesn’t seem necessary to administer banking. What are they doing with this info? Is the third party app developer getting access to this info? Are they providing it to third party advertisers? I’ll be deleting the app until what they collect is more in line with what they need to know to administer banking and not everything else they collect. My data is my data not your product. Update: the developer contacted me via email with a blanket response stating in part “We collect information that can be used to enhance the products and services that we offer you” However, they are collecting things that have no bearing whatsoever on any of the services they are providing. Further, they provide a link in the emailed response to “contact the developer” but of course the link doesn’t work. Not a good look Trumark. Until they change their collection policies I can not have this app on my phone.
Festers that were removed, inability to store multiple accounts w/facial recognition and bill payer
I have to sign into my child’s SSDI account separately where I use to be able to see it, and mine, when I signed in. Now, I call the bank because it doesn’t store multiple account and passwords under facial recognition. I use to be able to send a message, for less urgent matters. That feature was removed however, there is a chat feature that is confusing because when you attempt to use it you only know it’s closed when the feature doesn’t open. My husband noticed, with bill payer, it’s not seamless. You need to click through screens/tabs to get what was on one screen previously.
App is similar to the previous one. Looks a little nicer. But you are also signed out of any accounts you added. Also the rollout… to change the passwords of your users and lock accounts with very little notice… I think someone needs to answer for this. I had to go into my local branch following the rollout and was told that this was a very frequent occurrence since the new app was released. That’s a horrible user experience and one that needs to be acknowledged. The Credit Union itself is great. But not having any access or knowledge to your financial accounts because of an an app that looks and functions almost exactly like it’s predecessor was infuriating and it should be addressed.
No matter how slowly I rotate my phone to take a picture for mobile deposit, no camera appears. The old app would just open the camera immediately, but now this rotate for camera use direction pops up and its terrible. Tried telling chat support about it, get the same directions as if i haven’t tried rotating my phone slowly over 20 times and redownloaded the app and closed and reopened the app 10 times and made sure my unlocked orientation was still unlocked (it was) its so frustrating i cant even use this app for the only thing i want to use it for, december is not fast enough to fix this bug that has been happening since october what a joke.
It CLAIMS to have the absolute to mobile deposit, however no matter which device I use (tablet or phone) it stays on the “directions” screen when trying to take a photo of the check and never allows the camera to engage. YES I checked settings and the app has access to the camera. The phone says “turn your device…” I turn the device and nothing happens. Tablet says “Front of check” with directions. I can see the check blurry under both instructions but the directions never go away. No wonder this app gets such terrible reviews.
I’ve had this bank since I was 15, but after they rolled out a new credit card issuer things take a long time to process. I stayed with this bank so long due to them do things proficiently and fast. Now if I pay off my credit card from them it says pending for days where as before it would be processed and my balance would decrease right away. Not a happy customer anymore. It takes days for them to progress a gas payment on my credit card
You all are clearly hustling to make this transition work! Thank you! Love the redesign…one request: Is it still possible to do an external transfer right to a credit card like before? I saw every account except my credit card in the “to” drop down menu. If not I’d love that feature back! Thank you!
The privacy policy is appalling. They arrogate to themselves all your web browsing history, location when not using the app, etc. They share all your personal data, incuding Social Security number and driver's license data with all their partner/affiliate companies. Savvymoney is the worst, spamvertising within seconds of my first logon from a PC. I will delete this app immediately after posting this warning, and continue banking in person and via PC, where I have disabled the savvymoney domain,
New Credit card company and now no running balance
Loved the app for my credit card until they recently changed CC processing company. Running balances no longer show for credit card. And returns are showing as charges instead of credit while they are in pending status!! It will get corrected when it posts but it is showing incorrectly while pending. Please fix these issues ASAP!!!!
I love banking with Tru Mark but where they lack is their app. It’s an ok app, at best. It’s to be expected that a small time credit union might not have the best app but, the features should work at all times. Just upgraded my phone to the new IPhone 14 and you can not use the mobile deposit with the phone. Other than that the app is fine. Hopefully it gets updated quickly.
It is a good app to see you account balance but when it comes to transferring money it is a hit or miss. My credit card is due tmr and the app is saying “unable to display your information at this time try again later” later when my credit card bill is late? Unbelievable unreliable in such an important aspect.
No matter what I do, my mobile deposits are rejected for not using a dark background - and I’ve tried several back backgrounds with no success. I’ve made sure checks are legible, lit well, and all edges are within the guidelines. I just about only use this app for this purpose - making it relatively useless to me.
Not an improvement over the previous version, and possibly worse. Can’t see account names assigned in user settings, awful privacy terms, can’t use mobile deposit for checks since it only shows a “rotate your device to take photo” message no matter how many times you rotate. Trumark should be embarrassed by a banking app this bad in 2022.
The CU should have bought a better package; this app is poorly done and the support is terrible. It’s a lot of web views that end up with “404 Not Found” errors … then when you try to get tech support it takes forever for them to just tell you “works for me; have you tried turning it off and back on again?”
Me too! I very rarely receive junk messages and take measures to protect my privacy, but within minutes after downloading the app, I started receiving junk messages. We have been customers for over 20 years, but if I have to delete the app to protect my privacy and can no longer do mobile deposits, this institution isn’t much use to me.
Unable to make electronic check deposits via iPhone using the app. It doesn’t access the camera properly when you try to take a picture of the check. It does work on iPad, but isn’t without issues.
This app is very outdated compared to most other banking apps. Since I have had my account which is a few yrs now the app has a ridiculous amount of application errors occurring on a daily basis causing users to not be able to view their accounts when they need to.
I can no longer do a mobile deposit. When I click on it, it’s says turn the camera sideways, but it shows a very blurred image. It will not take a clear picture in order to deposit a check. Please fix ASAP, as this is a HUGE inconvenience.
Fix the deposit feature. It’s such an inconvenience to have to go to the bank. I’ve uninstalled this app and reinstalled. Same problem. There was nothing wrong with the old app. It worked. Why upgrade to a app where all the features don’t on a newer phone.
I use bank apps for a few different bank and credit cards. This app always seems to have a component that isn’t working. It can be challenging. Still unable to access my 1099 for year end tax prep due to that section being down.
Since one of the recent iPhone / iPad updates (since 11/4 for me) the camera won’t show a sharp image for Mobile deposit. The TM Business app Mobile deposit camera works fine
I never had a problem with the old app. I’ve had to restore to using the website because I can’t do anything with this app. I can’t even login. I’m fairly capable with apps and technology and I can’t verify my account.
I’m trying to deposit a check and I get a dark screen that says rotate your device. I attempt to do that in many ways even though I have no idea what this means and nothing works.
How incompetent do you have to be to lose a new member all because you haven’t verified their online account in days, this is a big representation of how unreliable you’ll be
I cannot log in without problems , customer support from TruMark is useless now after 30 years I am leaving TruMark financial because the incompetent idiots that are in charge are clueless

The app still does not display your accounts. I have downloaded it, deleted and reinstalled it but it does not work. TruMark you need to fix this ASAP.
Worst app ever, I can’t even use my phones camera to take a picture of a check for mobile deposit. Tru mark always seems to be sub par at best for tech
This app was in need of an upgrade and I’m just glad that it finally got the facelift it needed! I’m still navigating the system but so far so good! I like the new interface, much cleaner and easier to work through. Modern look and capabilities. No lagging or crashes so far. Fingers crossed!
