I’m having issue checking my history it won’t let me,like I want to check august history it’s not letting see the whole of august it’s just displaying aug1st to aug 5th it said pull down to refresh did that several time but it’s still Same thing and my app is up to date I check AppStore no new update so what up this is reply giving me issues
Whoever designed this new UBA mobile banking app did a terrible job, the previous version was easy to use and well programmed. I have been struggling with UBA secure pass to be able to generate a token which hasn’t been successful till now, it’s a poor job more like a setback and as much as I can’t get any transaction done for almost a week now due to not being around to go the nearest UBA branch it’s very bad most especially for people in diaspora. As much as I hate to compare services however I can say the Access More bank app is a better upgrade to what UBA currently has plus they have an option for new devices you can easily get an OTP in the registered phone number or email, UBA needs to fix up I believe you can do better thank you.
Since I opened my business account alkos splash integrated services ,I’ve been unable to do transfer on the app until I go to the atm machine with my debit card,it’s keep saying “facial recognition temporarily unavailable”,their tech support at bank said it’s my phone,meanwhile I have a personal UBA account where every works fine including app transfer which works perfectly ok,so how is it my phone then ? I have other banks apps and I don’t have such issues with them so it’s definitely UBA fault in this case,their Twitter customer care continues to ghost and their customer service centre at the bank are even worse. I wish I could give them (minus 0.1 rating ) Terrible bank,the worst I’ve ever seen all my life.😡
A bank that your money will go out without your knowledge it will nice reverse back
This is a bank I have been using for many years now and I just wake up and receive a debit I know nothing about and I called the bank customer care. They’re saying for my money to come back is 50/50 what nonsense. What’s the reason banking with such unless bank that you can’t be safe with your money. That means no one is safe banking with this such bank
It’s a Big shame to UBA bank.. look 99% of the reviews about UBA are bad reviews and yet y’all refuse to acknowledge your failure and do something real quick about it.. I wonder how you can’t allow someone login his/her bank app.. a problem that’s not affected with my network, you say it’s a network failure and you make someone wait for hours and still not do something about it.. it’s a big shame and disgrace to UBA bank. I’m deleting my account and no longer use UBA what you bring is stress and headaches.. very soon you will lose a lot of customer for poor services!!
I am happy as most of the updates i see, i noted during the survey. Its very important to get clientele opinion in modern day banking. I personally took out time to write what i thought you guys could improve. I am looking forward to see more on your app. I see you can now send from UBA to UBA that’s impressing. Please look at the surveys again and try to integrate more features in your banking app. UBA rocks! You are the best bank in Africa.
This app is the most poorly functioning app you will have on your phone. The number of times it freezes or is completely nonfunctional for extended periods is shocking. You have no choice but to use this app, and no one at UBA is sorry about that. UBA should give up, just quit. If you dreamed up the worst bank on the face of the earth, and wanted to make life terrible for all your customers, you would still imagine a better banking experience than the one UBA gives you with this App. Less useful than dull scissors, welcome to endless frustration. You’ll hate it here. We promise.
Inefficient App Migration and Time-Wasting Transaction Limit Changes
The migration process should have been handled by the bank, not pushed onto customers. It’s unfair to expect customers to go through so much hassle just because the bank wants to upgrade its app. My daily transaction limit was unexpectedly reduced to ₦20,000 per day, even though I had previously spent almost an entire day at the bank to increase it to ₦5 million per day. This is a complete waste of customers' time and effort. The bank needs to manage these upgrades more efficiently to avoid inconveniencing its clients.

It will be more convenient for us in diaspora if we can actually have something like a virtual atm just in case our atm cards gets expired and We cannot renew because We am not in the country and don’t know exactly when we will be back. Just so we can apply online and be able to receive it via email. I hope I made a bit of a sense??
First thing is how my balance update on the app, I sent money, it was successful, my previous balance still remains, I would have to close and open the app before the balance is updated. I got an alert through SMS, exit and reopen app several times, but the new balance is not updated yet. You gave option to increase my daily transaction limit on the app, I tried it, it doesn’t work. I had to go to the bank. It is frustrating. I cannot even check my transaction history, it keeps loading endlessly 🤦
I’m someone who uses the app frequently for transactions and half of the time I will have to wait for hours before i can do something on the app It’s either I get a system message that service is unavailable or it just doesn’t login at all, this has nothing to do with my network and I am beginning to get tired of the app. Fix the damm app for good and stop wasting people’s time with irrelevant messages that will make them wait for hours, you work to restore the service everyday but there’s no difference
I wonder what happened to the ever wonderful United Bank For Africa? Recently it’s been pending transactions which finally leads to a whole week of endless embarrassment from merchants requesting for their money which was long paid for to an annoying customer support service draining your hard earned Airtime trying to request for money back! Haba! I should give a one star, but in the end to forgive is divine. I wish you guys well as you endeavor to restore OUR Prestige.
Of all the commercial apps that I use, UBA’s the worst. If I could give a rating lower than the one star, you will have it. The only reason I continue to use the app is because this is where my salary comes, otherwise I will have been long gone, and it’s gona happen soon. Just to mention one key issue - your face recognition ID doesn’t work, I have given this feedback several times and many months now, yet it has not been fixed; there are so many other things. Please go and look at GTB Mobile app and see what it can do; don’t be too proud to learn.
This updated version is worse than the last. Can't do a data subscription straight from the app. When you choose the buy data option it does airtime instead. I have to remove the sim from my wifi every time I want to renew my data subscription. To transfer to another bank is another issue, it won't show anything most time when I try to make a transfer to other banks
The app history doesn’t work for months now ,it’s crazy having to know if a transaction was successful or not without this history because the app sometimes doesn’t even tell you if your transaction was successful only to be debited regardless....UBA you can do better with the app because this is quite frustrating...every time something goes wrong you have to go to the bank just for bank statements to see history,it’s absurd really
You guys user interface is terrible!!!! If there was something like zero star rate that is what I should have done. I don’t even know why you decided to update it when tasks is much hard to do now. We’re managing the former one and you guys just destroyed the app. You guys should fire both your designer and product manager cause when will they allow this to launch To transfer I have to open the app like four times just to complete a simple task Pls do better Abeg
The app always has a problem of bringing up transactions history…This is a huge problem..I have been trying to check my transactions history so I can send the receipt to someone who I did business with and it’s been days now, transactions history is still falling..Please, this problem should be fixed
Previously, I could copy and paste account numbers into the app but can’t do that anymore. Also, I wish there was a way for the saved beneficiary name to appear as it is in the account name instead of ‘John’s account’ for example, to make it easier when you have multiple people bearing the same account last name. Otherwise, it’s a good app
At this point I hate the bank. The app doesn’t work like it should and the embarrassment is just abysmal. Ahahn How can my card, apps and used not work at the same time. Is it fair?? And you people won’t even send a message saying ah see o … You just allow your customers to be humiliated when they need to make transactions. And you tax me so what are you doing with the tax?! I’ve learnt my lesson, next month I’ll move all my money out of the account to another one. The failures here are too much to ignore.

Your useless bank is the most annoying bank I have ever had an encounter with, just for you to guys to do a reset pin it has turn to issue for you guys, been going to bank since yesterday telling me your network is down if you can’t operate as a bank anymore kindly close down is not a nice impression you guys are giving your customers.
For some reasons I don’t understand uba mobile banking app anymore the way the app behaves randomly each and every single day of the week, sometimes u can’t even recharge from your phone for a week and the app just seems to malfunction each and every single time, and everyone act as if there’s nothing going on and the company isn’t even bother thank God I know longer save money in that account anyone better fix your app and remove it entirely.. what insolent
This app is one of the best thing that has happened in modern banking in Nigeria. Be in diaspora, this app has helped me transfer money every time to my aged mother back home from my pension account. I never experienced any glitched since I downloaded this app. Weld one UBA and expecting more innovations in this app.
This UBA new app has been the most worst have ever seen I get too much of issues with this app most times can’t login at all when the network is bad it takes long time to rectify it even I haven’t done any transaction today and I was told have exceeded my limit have never heard of that before I keep trying but keep giving me same information I can’t believe it you’ve not send receive any transaction from anyone and you want to send in the morning you’re told you’ve exceeded limit how can you explain this UBA HOW?
Your search engine for recipients need to be evaluated. Some saved recipients doesn’t pop up when searching for them, and if you try saving them again it will tell you it already exists in your list. Need to improve on it
I opened account at the local branch here and I even transferred some money into it. That was this morning. Every was working well at the bank and they even set up mobile banking app for me and when I entered I worked well. I used the atm too. But this evening I tried transferring money from the account but when I entered the app is not showing my balance anymore and I can’t transfer money. What’s wrong?
Please UBA what is this? Please give us the back the old app, I can’t see a THING!(account balance, how to transfer etc) is this how you behave and think I’ll tell my friends to get a UBA account? Fix this immediately, I’m currently using Opay because I can’t use your mobile app(I used USSD to send my money to the Opay). You reading this from UBA, why did you let the mumu software engineer/designer do this?! Can you transfer money at all? If I could rate this app without a star, trust me I would.
The app has really been improved. Well done. More can be done especially for people abroad that might need a virtual card for transactions if they can’t return back to Nigeria to pick replacement. Pls look into that. All round it’s really getting there!! Kudos
Biggest mistake I made was clicking on the “update” button. This app was the best and it was super fast and user friendly. In fact it worked when I don’t have data. Then boom! I updated the app and the UBA app turned to ABU app. Doesn’t even open anymore. Others are complaining they can’t send to another bank, omoh una dey enjoy oh. Cozz my own no dey even open. Make the app better or remove your so called new features let’s go back to the former app we knew before.
I forgot my mobile banking password and I was able to reset it under 5mins. This is the fastest and most seamless password recovery/change that I have done since I started banking in Nigeria. Well done UBA. Keep it up! 👍🏽
This is the best mobile banking app ever. This app is user friendly, the fact that I can check my bank statement without going to the bank gives me loads of joy. I have a lot to say about this app, it is really nice, keep up the good work UBA
The user interface is very much outdated. Not optimised to take advantage of my screen size. It’s still cropped with black bars. The touch response is weak. It takes a while to process information, it’s not intuitive. Also the optimisation to take advantage of the amount of pixels in the newer iPhones is really low. This app is filled with one too many clicks for no reason. I wonder why it’s not optimised for iOS 13 look and feel. If you weren’t planning on updating this, please do. Because it’s just UGLY
UBA is actually a good commercial bank to bank with,and also trust your money with. Just that they really have to work on their network,in other to improve more
It’s always difficult to login to, and also very difficult to perform most operations like transfers, and checking transactions history. It always says that my internet is unstable, whereas I’m able to perform all other internet-required activities on my device at those very times, including video streaming and even logging into other bank-apps. It’s a daily occurrence and it’s very frustrating.
I don’t know if I should be angry with the app or with the Bank itself… Firstly, The app is full of bugs, whenever I want to come and perform transactions on this app, internet error message justs pop out even when my data is on, I have to close the app and restart it all over again. I also have a problem with the transaction method and alerts system but that will be sorted out in the bank.
I got a new device iphone12pro max and up on till now I haven’t been able to login on my new device even after using the steps sent and on instagram I keep getting stupid steps and different stories. I’ll be glad if this can be treated as soon as possible because I have filled every form and done video and normal call validation.
Once I try to open the UBA app , it doesn’t open , stays on the page before the login page and when it eventually goes to the log in page , it doesn’t log In 90% of the time .. The annoying part is , once it gets to the log in page , I get a prompt from MTN , that my Data balance is exhausted and when I check my data balance, it’s still in abundance .. creepy app
I don’t know which one is the Main mobile application of this UBA cause the first one is not showing out the balance while the second application is not showing main transfer😒 just confused on it. Someone should assist me please
Uba is the worst banking app I ever used.... I’ve been using this bank for more than 7 years, and they always disappoint where you less expect them to... They’re never good in morning transactions which is so annoying... My Electricity Prepaid bill was due to recharge since midnight and up till this moment almost 6AM they keep debiting me the more I try, so annoying! I’ve been enduring for 7 years! Now I’m tired and I will be leaving.....!

To be honest this bank is the most useless banking app have ever seen..they defraud there customers I happen to make a transaction which till date I haven’t gotten my refund, there call center not even working and they don’t even reply to email…I must say not only this banking app but the bank itself doesn’t worth it say. It just a big name but full of thieves who takes customers savings…be careful !!
The new App is not friendly to use. Why do you subject your customers to additional app from secure pass to be able to use your mobile app??? I do not like the new app
The app hangs, poor UI/UX, no faceID or fingerprint login feature. This is my first day of banking with UBA and I have zero confidence in the bank tech. I would recommend improving the app from the scratch or maybe see if access bank can sell to the UBA bank the app software of their acquired “diamond bank”. This app is so poor that I had to make my first app review. Improve it and change my mind about counting down on my days of banking with UBA.
The mobile app is becoming a pain recently. Error messages and when you eventually login, it won’t allow you to send money. I am seriously thinking of changing to GTB or Zenith. I have used UBA for some years now and their service and customer support seems to be going downhill. It seems nobody monitors the app if it is working well or not. Very disappointing to say the least.
I don’t borrow money from you and they remove all my money if I receive alert it will show no balance and I see the credit alert what’s happening to uba
Since I installed this app it barely opens,you guys are always having network issues and I mean not just me but majority of the bank users experience the same,even as I write this message now the app is not working,it’s frustrating to have money and not be able to use it,fix ur gaddamn network ( it’s not my device or my server provider)
The old mobile banking app is better off this new one . This new one hangs a whole lot and the designs or fonts looks like a baby toy . You can’t even paste a copied account number without it not asking silly questions if you want to paste or not . This has occurred to me multiple times, they network is really poor, you make transactions and the app tells you it didn’t go through while you get debited and countless times. What sort of bank network comes up this minute and goes off the next minute.?? This isn’t just happening now, it’s been that way ever since and I’m not sure anything is done to have it corrected 😡😡😡😡😡
