Wow, just wow!

I had to write a review on this application. Like many others, I have tried them all but this product meets all my needs in a calendar application. Way to go on the feature set. There clearly is attention to detail and that is appreciated by all users. The project component takes takes to a new level of organization. Calendar sets are the game changer for me. I not only separate work from personal but I have a separate calendar set for just daily habits. Love the use of color and options throughout the application. Nice work! My only wish would be to add a version for the Apple Watch. Thank you for your work and I look forward to future updates.

Seems Nice, But…

*** Thanks for your response. • You wanted to know about the glitch in Extreme Calendar. So I have written up a description of it and will post it as an Extreme Calendar review (it is somewhat difficult to describe so hopefully you will be able to understand what I am trying to convey). *** I was excited when I discovered Extreme Calendar and eventually got the paid version. It was great in many ways and I used it for years. However, it stopped being updated long before it was replaced, despite at least one troublesome glitch that should have been addressed years ago. Now there is Ulti-Planner (nice name!) which, while also pretty nice (as far as I can tell from the free version), requires you to pay for several features that came free with Extreme Calendar, and has a one-time paid version that is almost twice as expensive as Extreme Calendar’s paid version was. I have considered biting the bullet and paying for this new calendar as well. However, my experience with Extreme Calendar made a memorable impression and I really have to wonder whether, in time, regular updates for this calendar (or any updates at all) stop coming as well. That is a real concern with any app as expensive as this.

The best calendar app

The new version has a more sophisticated look than the previous one. I like this calendar because it allows you to use emojis so that you can tell at a glance what your schedule is. You can also have a detailed month view vs the little dots on Apple’s calendar which tells you nothing. It’s frustrating that a smart company like Apple can’t see that this view is useless. Ulti-planner also shows a detailed day view. There’s no other calendar apps that does this as brilliantly as Ulti-planner. And I’ve looked at dozens. The developer is also very responsive to correcting some glitches in the early software version

Clean, easy & useful

Ultimate-Planner is a terrific calendar and planner app with a pleasing UI. Keeping track of events, appointments and reminders/tasks is a breeze. The ability to easily create calendar filters in order to view individual categories (for example, medical appointments) without interference from other scheduled items is truly useful. All in all, I am very pleased with Ulti-Planner. So much so that I purchased the pro version. YMMV, of course. Apps are such a personal thing, and what works for one might not for another.

UPDATE: I raised my rating to a 3 because the developer responded & that’s quite rare these days!

ORIGINAL: So the pictures of the app on the App Store look good. I got pretty excited about this one. Tried the free trial and it doesn’t get past one single page which is the year. I can’t even get it to show the day. It doesn’t come with directions, so I have no idea what I may be doing wrong. But I can’t understand how all these people, are they real people?, Are giving it such high ratings and actually, the pricing is too low to make it a really legitimate good app. i’m running it on the latest version of iPhone and the latest update. Good luck if it works for you.

Beautiful App!

Smoother than most calendar apps! I was able to connect everything with one click! It seems relatively new, sometimes it freezes when choosing an icon. I would like to be able to assign a calendar as “birthday” because the native version doesn’t have all of them. Regardless, this app is clean and pretty and customizable and I can’t wait for more! Great deal for the lifetime purchase too

Great!

This is a great app! I specifically love it because you can see reminders and events in the same place, the 3-day view makes understanding your day much easier, and there is a lifetime purchase option that is affordable so you’re not sucked into a subscription if you don’t prefer that. The developer works through any bugs you report.

I love this calendar app

I absolutely love this calendar app! It’s super user-friendly and helps me stay organized with all my events and appointments. The reminders are a lifesaver, and the interface is so clean and easy to navigate. Plus, I love the customization options for different calendar views. Highly recommend to anyone looking to keep their schedule in check!!!!

Elegantly Simple

This app is quick yet still feature-rich. Lots and lots packed under the hood of the deceptively-simple design. Developer is very responsive. I have tried lots of calendar apps over the years, but this one stays on my iPhone (and iPad!)

Poor layout and design

I’ve been using xtreme agenda (same author) for years and I absolutely love it. It is one of the few apps I actually paid to upgrade. I got a notice that this is the replacement for XA so I installed it. No, thank you. The interface is awful. The XA interface has a large calendar space and is very easy to read. I would need to use a magnifying glass with this crowded mess 100% of the time for it to be of any use to me. I’ll hang with XA a little longer.

Best Calendar App

Love this calendar app!! The new design is very easy to use and love the convenience of having both to do lists and calendar events in one place. This is the best calendar app on the market!! The developer is very responsive as well!

Clean and easy

Very nice and clean easy to read UI that integrates calendars and reminders together. Not overflowing with options that make your head spin. Just a simple easy to use app with a lot of good features.

Love it!

I can actually read what’s on my calendar instead of seeing little dots. And I share it with all of my family members so everyone can see each other’s events.

Reminders

I love this app. I use mainly the reminders app. Love being able to tie to calendar view with weather and time bar. Today view is the one I use.

Fast and Complete

This calendar/planner app has all the bells and whistles but runs faster than other apps I have used. Now there are iPhone/iPad AND Mac versions! Perfection!!

SO HELPFUL

LOVE THE FULL MONTH CALENDAR VIEW. I KEPT A POCKET CALENDAR IN MY PURSE BEFORE I FOUND THIS APP. WHAt A FIND! Love that it corresponds to the calendar that comes installed on phone too. This app has made my life so much easier. This sort of planner view works best with my brain.
