This app is a 10/10 it’s super easy to function with! Great, Fast Efficient Tool for transcribing video to txt file
This is super helpful, it helps with capturing everything said on the video transcribe into txt…now if we could be able to take snips of the video to place in each part of the process for taking Process Notes and steps for training notes, or Saving into OneNote. For organizing all notes in categories based on the content of the video. One feature to add is Adding a Title of each video - so you’re not having to retype it again and again when sending as a txt file, and then again when sending video file. (This keeps the accuracy of matching video to txt files once saving from phn to pc. Lifesaver…I was struggling with absorbing all the training videos for work. This will allow me to place the txt into steps for process efficiency. Can you capture voice recognition to show when different person is speaking on the video, in the txt file. To flow better! Bravo Thank you for all your efforts of making learning easier. Trying to utilize my time more efficiently when saving my notes to txt with every video, as it’s happening. Thank you again!
Ok so like I was using picsart, (One of the best editing apps go try it out) There was this auto captions thing, it looked so cool, but there was 2 things that were bad, 1 The captions did not match a thing I said, and 2 it costed money, I got mad, then I looked at apps for auto captions, then I saw this and I fell in love with it! ❤❤❤ I love how you can edit the captions, But that's not the best part, Everything is Free! Yes you heard it, Free! You can buy stuff But it is mostly free! Whoever needs auto captions, This is the best! 99 Percent Free! I Love it ❤ And it's perfect! You also don't have to sign in! As the title says, but I do have a few nitpicks, even though it’s already good I feel as if the app could have a purchase one time only to own all the features say maybe $15 $20 USD? instead of a stupidly high yearly price, yes I know other apps also cost more for yearly but this app isn’t the cheapest either. Or how about a purchase one time only to have certain features like a pick and choose thing $3-$8 USD perhaps? But if that’s never the case, I would honestly like to see ad supported features come to the app I think this would be great in terms of background noise cleaner. I also think that exporting from the app in 1080P or 4K quality should technically be free I don’t know just some ideas for the app developers hopefully they take these into some consideration.
Since a recent update, i’m now looking for a different captions app. This used to be my go-to, but there’s a big problem where it forces a line separation after any comma, even overriding your 1-line restriction setting to put anything after the comma below whatever’s before it. I need to caption full sentences that someone can comfortably read, on horizontal videos. This is no longer possible for sentences with commas. We need to be able to control the length of lines anyway. Their watermark is pretty obnoxiously big and colorful and really distracts from your video if you don’t go thru the pain of working around it. On the plus side, it has more personalization features and fonts than some competitors and i would’ve recommended it before this comma issue was introduced.
I am a content creator and I purchased Veeed so I could easily caption my videos. If you want to caption the spoken word in a video automatically this app is great. It’s pretty intuitive and easy to use and comes with a variety of fonts and styles. HOWEVER if you edit a video in CapCut with no sound and then want to add text overlay in Veed you can’t! It can only transcribe words in a spoken video and there is NO option to just type on screen! As a creator this makes this app way less useful. I make content without voiceover all the time, but I still want to add text and now I have to do it in CapCut which is clunky and doesn’t easily allow me to place my text within the IG and tiktok safe zones which was the major benefit of this platform. When my year is up I will NOT be renewing. I don’t feel like I got my moneys worth with this app. The Captions app has way more features for the same price.

I was trying to translate a video. I tried two other apps before this one. The first one never finished loading therefore I never got any translation whatsoever. The second one didn’t offer a Korean to English translation. I tried Translating the video on my own with my basic knowledge of Korean, but it just didn’t make sense. Uploaded the video and honestly it made much more sense than my own translation. 😭 I wanna say it’s accurate because its translation had all the right words I knew that were being said in the sentence, just more clearer to understand!!
One of the FEW apps out there that actually let you use their product for free. Even the free version lets you make MANY adjustments to your work. We’ll done VEED for not being greedy and self serving. Instead you went with allow potential customers to use a slightly limited version for free. The product is amazing and is VERY simple to use and make changes. ONE OF MY FAVORITE APPS!! This will stay on my devices for sure. Give it a try, you will be both impressed and satisfied with the end product!
The good: it captures most of what is being said or sung. Lots of options to make it visible and clear. Pretty easy to use. The bad: you cannot adjust or edit the timing and placement of text. It seems like a basic thing, but if the Veed AI didn’t pick up what you said, and you write it in, there is no way to time it so that it shows correctly or in time. It’ll either show connected to the last word Veed was able to capture, or bundle it with the next set of words. It seems like a very basic thing, but once Veed puts the text, you really can’t adjust what it finds. That’s really toug, as it misses words and isn’t always right. For $40, that should definitely be there.
I use this app to translate my videos into another language. However, the translation is not always accurate. Sometimes it’s too far and not related at all to the words said. Second, I wish there would be an improvement to the app function where we can add words and time them with the speech manually since some of the sentences translated to another language are longer/shorter than the original spoken words.
I’ve tried literally DOZENS of subtitling tools and this one is the next best thing next to having an actual human transcribe what you’re saying. For context, I’m a content marketer and creator so I’ve tried my fair share of apps and they’re usually like 30-50% accurate. I’d roughly say VEED was about 95% accurate. Any mistakes were really easy to fix in the text editor. I was able to add subtitles really quickly in my workflow. Upload/record, wait a few seconds, quick edits, pick a style of captions, and you’re all done in in just a few clicks. Definitely gonna be using this for my IG Reels and TikToks especially since the IG captions sometimes come out blurry and are usually only like 70% accurate. Highly recommend and can’t wait to see what else gets added to this app in the future 🥰
This app is exactly what it supposed to. It even has a free version. If you don’t mind the water, Mark, I only wish that it had a one time pay feature. That would be the only reason why I would give it four out of five stars not five out of five stars if it had a one time pay feature like I could pay 20 bucks just to buy the app for the rest of my life that I would give it five out of five stars but since it has a monthly subscription or weekly subscription four out of five stars
The quality of voice output after removing background noise, the video resolution, the simplistic ease of use, make Veed a great choice for general video adjustments. The foreign language translation feature needs some tweaking, probably due to the source of the translation - it is not accurate enough. Additionally, a cellular version similar to the web-based version would be a nice upgrade option in the future.
I think VEED Captions is the best and easiest app for converting Arabic speech into Arabic text. But its Arabic fonts are limited, so we hope that you will add Arabic Naskh fonts such as Amiri font to encourage Arab writers and poets to publish their works in Arabic Naskh fonts, or that you allow us to add Arabic fonts from external sources. Just as Blink Captions app allows us to add Arabic fonts from external sources, but unlike you, it’s not supports Arabic language, starts from the left while it should start from the right.
Amazing app. It is very well done. One thing I may ask you to add, is an audio description feature so that people who are visually impaired like me, can upload a video and have the app put an audio description feature. Been using this app for over 2 months with no issues but suddenly since a few days ago I started getting glitches and error messages. I reinstalled the app last time it happened but this time the app won’t stop glitching out no matter what I do. I get this error message: “ErrorResponse: An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made.” Guess I’ll have to look for another caption app.
I have tried so many captions apps, and honestly this one saves me a lot of time in frustration that the other apps have cost me. Whether the other apps have glitches, they just don’t transcribe me properly, or formatting doesn’t give us many options, this one is much better than all of the rest for 100 reasons
I usually don’t write reviews (this is literally my first one) but OH MY GOODNESS this app is SO easy to use. It puts the caption really quick and is really accurate, but even if it messes up, it is so easy to change! This is a timesaver if I’ve ever seen one and it’s completely free! The creator(s) of this app need to give themselves a big pat on the back. Definitely recommend!
I honestly expected that I would have to write in a lot of corrections manually. But when I did my first video with Veed, I didn’t do ANY corrections! Second video, I made one correction over 1 minute that was PACKED with dialogue. The customization options are very extensive. The paid subscription is not too expensive and honestly worth it. Very impressed!
I can’t believe this is a free app! It’s super easy to use and it makes high-quality captions that are easy to see. I’m having trouble that my captions sticker is missing in my Instagram account and Instagram isn’t fixing it, so I needed another fix - I found it. Thank you for providing this wonderful app!
I’ve been use it this app for such along time now and it’s awesome, I wouldn’t recommend any other app, it’s free, it has a lot of customization options, I could go on and on. But recently it just stopped letting me upload my video and it says theirs and error or something maybe you could fix it?
So I downloaded some other apps that would give me captions and I tested them to see if they would pay me money to put the video in my camera roll and then this was the last one and it actually let me download my videos let me change it
This app did the majority of my video perfectly. However when it came down to trying to get a couple of words accurate & adjusting the timing of which they were highlighted on the subtitle…completely frustrating. I don’t see an area to adjust the times of highlights and it’s just really frustrating because it should be way easier to fix those mistakes. Good app overall, but lack of details makes it kinda pointless. Because the video has to be perfect, and this app didn’t allow that for me with certain words being highlighted before they’re even said in the video. And if there’s something I’m missing, it’s still an issue because it shouldn’t take someone new to the app all day to figure it out.
The app is more than wonderful, with a simple note: I hope to activate the ability to upload files from any place on the iPhone, not just from photos, and to extend the translation duration to be more than 10 minutes.

Very convenient. The text is so clean and accurate, it’s right even when you don’t say the words clearly. Great app for content creators and people just posting for personal use. I’d love to make videos for them or be sponsored or something.
It’s free and it works in so many languages! I tried Khmer language and it works! It’s not 100% but it’s amazing! I save so much time. If I were to do this the traditional way, it would take a lot of my time! This is is the beginning. I will explore what I can do more with this FREE app!!!
I just downloaded the app and started my seven day free trial which I will be purchasing for the year. I uploaded one video and was able to do that on my iPad but I’m trying it on my iPhone and it keeps freezing and not working.
As funny as this may sound. I would love an optional ability to purchase it fully as like an early adopter? I would hate for it to suddenly be a subscription randomly one day, I’d like to be able to pay a 1 time fee to own it forever guaranteed :)
It’s exactly like the Captions app except this one is actually free with many high quality options in the free version. AND the paid version is significantly cheaper than other auto captioning apps, starting at just $4 a month👏
If you had a little more freedom with zooms and maybe some auto generated cuts this would be so perfect but for the purposes of making dynamic captions and doing 0 work this is everything I could ask for
Just returned from Costa Rica for work and was searching for a video editing app that would translate and put subtitles. Literally in less than a minute, the work was completed and totally accurate. Amazing.
As an artist that makes content it can be pretty time-consuming to have to type down all my lyrics into a different app. This literally gave me better results than manual work. I’m not mad at the AI.
The colors of the captions when exported are way darker than how the color looks in the app. I’m guessing this is a bug but getting the correct brand colors for your captions is a pretty key feature the app should be able to handle. As of right now, I don’t see a way of importing your own font either. On top of all of this, I didn’t find the editor to be intuitive at all.
This App ROCKS! It does the job, super easy and intuitive interface, they keep improving it consistently and it’s stable enough that I’ve never had any issues! And FREE?!??! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? If you do short form videos, Stop playing yourself and get it!
Appreciate the work you do, $7 is well worth it for me. Could you please add a way to clear project files so it doesn’t take up extra space? Deleting them one by one is a little slow for me

The fact that it’s free, works super well & you can do translations even if you don’t speak the language yourself, is cool. Sometimes I have to edit the words here and there, but — I don’t mind! It’s great! I love it! I use it over CapCut.

This is so good like it’s so good to help me with my tick-tock‘s like that’s so good to buy that app. If you need help like putting words in TikToks wrote just get it. It’s so easy to do and it’s for free unless you pay for it I didn’t, but still was very good.
I only use to use this for free caption downloads under 10 minutes. Now I deleted it because this can’t compete with CapCut (which you can’t download captions from). Really nice app but even if you spend money CapCut is better. Should have just left it as free. I don’t even download enough captions to care to pay for this. Plus I have other desktop solutions. Oh well. Companies make stupid decisions everyday I guess
This is a great caption app that’s very easy to use, but it crashes once in a while when I try to split the captions and it can be frustrating at times. Otherwise everything else works fine
I love this app because you basically get a free service just for using their water mark. It’s also designed to be super easy- you don’t have know how to edit to use this app 👍👍👍
I use the app in ESL videos made with Plotagon Studio. It's a astonishingly accurate, and lets me manipulate subtitles' font, size, color and word breaks for maximum readability by my students. It's not cheap, but it's definitely worth the money.
unlike other translating caption apps you can add captions in different languages without having to pay and it looks INCREDIBLE. The only thing i would say if that sometimes the timing isn’t very accurate but nothing is perfect and it’s definitely one of the bests i’ve tried. FOLLOW GRACE GUIDE ON INSTAGRAM!!
