app was ok till the pins went away. a plus would be to add the hrs of operation for the dealers. would really want to know the ones that are open 24 hrs Monday thru Saturday
Info - maybe dealers’ fault - is not always correct, especially working hours. And - if you are a manager, not a guy in the truck - if you didn’t allow the location on your phone for the App, it will always try to show you an Atlantic near-Africa “location”, moving your maps’ focus there on every refresh, instead of staying focused on the area you’d be looking for a dealer in.
Map is useless as it will always zoom in on current location
The app could be very helpful but the map isn’t user friendly at all. Whether you have show your current location toggled on or off, it will always go back to your current position. When I’m looking for a Volvo dealer along my route, it constantly goes back to my current location. It is frustrating and counter productive. Google maps search is a better option than this.
Great news with that Uptime Bay.. This app makes life a little easier but every time I'm looking for this app I know it will be costly.. :))) keep going America!
Who cares about their website. Why not put info we can use? You know so we aren’t wasting time calling or visiting a useless website that’s for their mega overpriced multi state network and not the one location I care about.
App makes it easy to find dealer for repair while on the road. The "share contact" feature had to be worked around by emailing the contact to myself, then tap it to save it to my iPhone, then, I could share the contact... Not a big issue. A must have if you own a Volvo tractor. Decent, handy app.
This app is much less functional/useful to me after the update that happened recently (1st week June, 2012). Before update, excellent. After update not so much. Pins on map were taken away, thus no visual representation of dealer/shop locations on map Without visual representation, I cannot "see" shops along or near my route... Please put map pins back.
What happened? I was looking for a local dealer to get parts for a repair and couldn't find any dealers within 300mi range. It was working, undo the updates or fix location service.
That is unbelieveable! Everything was working properly until I did an update. Now there are NO red pins on the map!!! U have to look for the dealer from HUGE list. That is the only way!!!
This app once showed a map that let us illustrate the locations of all dealers nearby. That feature was removed and with it went the app's allure and usability. Please replace the push pins!
Very simple and easy to use. It basically does one thing and it does it well. Would be nice if we could get some kind of ratings for Volvo dealers on here. In my experience no two Volvo service depart's are alike.
