It has been close to a month since Vystar decided their app, close to a month! Don’t you feel embarrass to your clients! A month!!! Seriously do better!!! Update review of their update: Eh, I thought it would be better…We waited too long, for this? I tried to make an Internal transfer from my business account to my checking, and yet it kept saying insufficient funds, so I got tired, and just went to their website directly, and it was done and done!!!! The app itself was designed very simple… The older version was better, if you ask me… * Dispute Transaction does not even work! This is ridiculous!!! I can’t even pay thru Zelle, it just keep saying I don’t have enough funds, when I do!!! Cmon Vystar! This terrible!! The worst bank ever! Won’t release my money when check has been deposited for more than 2 days!!! The worst app, you can’t transfer any funds, regardless if you have funds, I always have an issue every time, transferring internally, it just kept saying no funds on a certain account, so I have to directly to the website and conduct transaction. What a joke!
I finally found a bank I like and can trust! It being a credit union is a bonus! The few banks I’ve used in the past has always let companies debt money out of my accounts when there isn’t any. Then I got stuck owing the money took plus over draft fees. If by some chance it happens I get my money back and the fees are done away with. Also love the fact if there is a questionable transaction they will freeze it till I confirm or deny charges. They are not perfect because that don’t exist but they are perfect for me and my banking needs!!
I tried to give this app the benefit of the doubt as a loyal customer of over 40 years. (I got an account as a kid and have stayed every since) but this app is AWFUL. Please go back to your old one. It never wants to load anything and if it does it takes forever. Most of the time it says low connections and bumps me out. Meanwhile I’m running any other app or steaming with no issues or interruptions. And it happens on both WiFi and cellular. It also never seems to follow any type of pattern when showing transactions. Sometimes it will show pendings other times nothing. It’s clunky and slow. Between this and some other interactions of other VyStar departments, I’m starting to think seriously about moving to a new credit union. I’ve made this complaint already the last time it wasn’t showing my transactions accurately and I never heard a response. So unless your reaction here is to actually work on fixing the issues- please don’t respond.
I love this app! My favorite thing is that I can hide accounts, I do it so I won’t be tempted to reach into my savings. It’s great only thing that I don’t like about it is that I have to inside the account to add money the re hide it again. I wish they did to where it can stay hidden but still able to do a internal transfer.
I still cannot paste my long, complicated password into the password field in the app. Paste function is disabled for the password field. Fix it! This is the only app I have where this does not work. Fix it! And don’t give me your worthless, canned response telling me how sorry you are that I am having trouble. Fix it! I have called your “support” number multiple times. They are clueless about this problem. And they apparently are unwilling to pass the problem on to someone that can actually ……Fix it! Programmers! Are you listening? Ha! The app is now showing a 4.8 Star rating! Last I looked it was showing a 1 Star rating. At least they were able to “fix” their 1 Star rating. They still have not fixed the problem I described above.
Account updates are very slow. When I transfer money from my savings account to my checking account, it should show up immediately. The app is good for an iPhone, not for iPad. Using an iPad with the app, it does not give you a full screen to view banking details. It gives you a screen view the size of my iPhone. The app needs work. Please do not respond with your copy and paste responses. I’ve seen the same I’M SORRY response on several negative reviews. 😒
Does everything I need it to do so I don’t have to go into a branch. The only issue I’ve had is the past week it’s saying I don’t have permission to log on while using my VPN. I’m. It sure what’s changed in the background the Vystar app or the VPN but I have to turn the VPN off to log on.
Issue exists- user name isn’t pulling correct acct
I’ve written a previous review & called but have the same horrific issue. I switch the account user on the app & yet it pulls the wrong account. Called the bank like I was asked but they can’t verify my info, I have to visit the bank. I am worried since I logout and login to my OTHER account but it pulls up a different one??? How is that possible, they do both belong to me but, it’s a completely different login! I don’t have time to visit the bank and sit along with so many other patrons that have these problems, I have to work! This is VERY CONCERNING VYSTAR!!
Same issues I’ve been having with the mobile app..
With this bank they use Zelle as a trusted external transfer service. I’ve never been able to get the two properly connected due to either program giving errors (VyStar) or sending me to the App Store to download the bank app I already have(Zelle). I also had to call and block a card and order a new one, support stated it was ordered and be here in 10 business days; called back after the 15th day and found out the card was never ordered like I was told by the support team.
The app. Makes banking really easy. It is easy to use. I wish that you could pull up your credit card transaction history on the app. I have to wait for the credit card bill to come to review transactions.

Every week, especially when it gets close to deposits being made the app freezes and I have to try repeatedly to see my balance. It’s not my internet connection, all other apps work fine, + there are never any issues with my Navy Federal App. Spend less on LED lights for the building downtown and fix the app. It’s been subpar ever since the new app rolled out. This has been going on for 6+ months so obviously VyStar does not take this seriously.
I have been a customer, for 1 month, the app has been frustrating! Seriously can’t the screen get bigger, I use an iPad for my banking, only get a rectangle to work with that I need to keep scrolling! No a fan of the transfer process, been waiting to manage my external account, go to that screen….. blank, well until I manage it it isn’t helping me add $ to my account . I am pretty frustrated, I am considering changing banks because it is so frustrating!
I love this app! I do all of my banking. My schedule doesn’t allow me to usually get to the credit Union when it’s open. Always has updated balances and transactions .
Every time I open my app, it either crashes on me or it takes forever to login. Everything is extremely delayed, including my balance. I should be able to login immediately without having to wait for it to load for three minutes and have accurate account information. I should not have to get a text message to login anytime I’m off of my Wi-Fi.
I need to check my account weekly. It’s so uncomfortable to open the app and not able to see the current balance. Sometimes, it’s extremely necessary for me to see how much money has coming in and out and sometimes it is not available or the checking account report it’s 1 or 2 days behind. Please, fix this issue! I’m not the only person that has this problem.
I had an issue a few weeks ago where the app balance did not match the statement balance but it hasn’t happened again and all was fixed in a speedy amount of time.
Vy Star is the best bank/ credit union around. The people are knowledgeable. They are kind and take the time to help their customers. I wouldn’t bank anywhere else.
Over the past month, the app has become very slow every time I try to login. Sometimes it takes about 3 minutes after logging in for my accounts to show up on the home page
This is the worst online banking app I’ve ever come across. It’s not user-friendly by any means. I changed phones and it’s asking for my SS # and last 6 of the debit card. I enter the numbers and nothing happens. The app closes. I try using enroll banking and it asks for savings account number besides the SS # and other information. I enter it and it does nothing. I love the bank but the app is a waste of time.
Zelle still does not work on App and Vystar Website...
Called Vystar about Zelle not working on both my mobile vystar app and the Vystar webpage on mobile, was told I would get a call from their IT department in 1-3 business days to help resolve the issue. Never received a call or email back... Come on guys.
When it works, it’s fine. However, way too slow and sluggish. Takes forever to log in, main balance screen and account transactions load seemingly forever. Sometimes will not load at all and have to close completely and reopen.
I’ve tried everything to enroll for online banking but no matter what I do it always say just “Oops!” Or something about a invalid email despite the fact anything I’ve done has had nothing to with my email at all. This app is just broken to the point where you can’t even sign up for online banking making the app useless
Not sure how but it seems that whatever VyStar is doing with the mobile app my login settings get reset all the time. Also when I select Manage Cards I get a message stating there is no internet, but have to login via the VyStar mobile app. VyStar still missing the mark.
Why do I have to get a text message from you to open the app? It has been happening for about a month even from home. It's frustrating and time consuming too!
I’m unable to use the internal zelle feature in the app. When I initiate zelle I get a pop up message that reads” oops! Operation failed. Contact administrator or try again later.” I’ve tried for months now.
Can’t create my online banking due to the app not working. Everything is correct and it’s implying that it is not. I’ve reset my phone and close out the app and tried again multiple times. The app is useless , it’s better to do business with them over the phone or in person I’d give 0 stars if I could
This app is the worst. Simple functions such as login, balance checking, and searching transactions take forever and sometimes don’t even load without either having to kill the app and re-open or retry the function several times. Please fix.
Ok so A friend of mine tried to send money to me using Zelle but it said I can use it through the app and so I try and it won’t even let me transfer money or even open it and the money my friend sent me is gone literally and I can’t use Zelle through vystar
The app use to be wonderful but now it’s awful it’s slow it doesn’t ever work honestly the inconsistency makes me want to change banks since whenever I’m not at home and on wifi even then I can never access my account.
Absolutely awful app. Trying to bank through the website is also a hassle. Nothing works, I can’t make any transfers from external sources to Vystar, can’t even send money with Zelle. It gives the options, but the app is so broken that it never works.
Change bank. Vystar has had years to fix this app and it still trash. Won’t sign in after 3 correct attempts. App will shut down unexpectedly. Takes days/weeks to update accounts totals. Always shows wrong amount.
Since the release of this some called “better app” from the mouth of the CEO. It has been complete trash. Lags, won’t log in, says you have no or low signal when you don’t, and so on. It’s seems the bigger they get, the crappier it gets for us the customer. Do better Vystar!
I hope you’re not in a hurry to look at your balance or transfer money because it takes forever, and way too many attempts, for it to load. I’m considering changing banks just because of the difficulty I experience managing my money.
