I have had a chance to use the Walmart2Walmart service now a half dozen times and I have to say that the process is very user friendly and safe. I haven’t had any negative issues with recipients not getting there money and the transactions are quick and effortless.
I needed to send money to my sister who is vacationing out of state. I downloaded this application, entered all of my information, and debit card info. I transferred the money to my Sister and got the confirmation, transaction number, and pin. The funds were immediately “held” from my bank account, then 10 minutes later I got an email saying that my transaction had been cancelled(by Ria)due to it being “suspicious.” It also stated that if I tried to place any other orders, those orders would be immediately rejected. All of my information was correct, they held the funds in my bank account, so what was the reason for this? I have no idea, this is supposed to be a money transfer service right? By the way, the funds have still not been released back to my bank account. BEWARE of this service!
Just got this app and thought it would be more convenient than driving to the store to send money. However, when my recipient went to pick up the money she was unable to do so. They told me after speaking with 3 different customer service representatives that it was because I had just created an account and that it would take time for this transaction to take place. NEVER AGAIN WILL i use this app. Will also be reporting them to the better business bureau if my recipient is unable to pick up money tomorrow. Would have a been better off to go to the store
I didn’t like that it only gave me the option to send the money to BodegaAurrera I gave it a try I was sent to 3 different cashiers because they didn’t have the amount was getting frustrated and was told that they could on another cashier and I told my wife to ask before we even forming on the line because I wasn’t going to form again to be told that they couldn’t i always send money from Walmart there they give you many options but on this app you only get 1 option I usually always sent to Elektra I never have trouble there.

I just saw this app today and wanted to try it out but after looking at the reviews I wanna ask. Do I really have to wait for a certain period of time before this app actually works so that my recipient can get it from the store? Also how secure does this app keep up with ppls money so that the true recipient can receive it and not someone else?
Bad login experience and I my order was getting declined
I created the account, my first order was declined with a very general email response on why. I was locked out of the account. And the verification codes didn’t work. Tried that 5 times. When I called the customer service numbers listed in the emails I kept getting transferred. 4 times total. And still no sign of resolution. Pretty bad experience ugh
Needs better instructions related to what to expect as you work through the app. Like have the recipient’s phone number and identification information on hand before beginning your transfer.
I sent money through the app and when the recipient went to collect the money the system said the money was already paid out. I call customer service and was told they have to investigate, which can take up to 10 days, and they need a copy of recipient’s ID. I need my money back.
I’ve used this app for years now and now my account is locked out. Not even customer service knows why. Very strange since I can’t log in to even get a reference number
One of the most crooked apps ever!! Walmart should be charged with fraud. They took $700 from my wife and then told the receiver they had to wait hours the money never came.! Do not use this app. It is very corrupt. Walmart says that they use a third-party and the third-party just makes excuses for where your money goes.

On my first login attempt after setting up my account, it informed me that I made too many login attempts and would need to reset my password. Deleted the app and don’t plan on reinstalling it again. Horrible coding errors don’t deserve a reward. I’ll send via Western Union.
Would not send had to cancel and get a refund went through a verification process of my identity could not understand there customer service person was trash service
I used this app to send a transfer. We were told that the pin we received for Walmart was invalid and that the money had been picked up by someone else.
I added this app so that I could send money to my son and my daughter and you have absolutely no way to send it to Canada. I live in the US my kids live in Canada. You have all kinds of foreign countries, except Canada your neighbor. So you’re getting a two star rate I think it’s a great idea. Unfortunately, you’ve added countries that nobody cares about.

Worst app ever. I spent all the time to set up this stupid thing thinking it works the same as Walmart to Walmart online. Nope. My disabled uncle had to get a ride to pick up the money only to be told there was a hold on my money that had already been taken out of my account. They said he had to wait 6 hours…instead of the normal 15 min. So I told them to cancel it and I would I re-send it in Walmart.com. Of course my money didn’t deposit right back into my account. So now I’m out double the money until I get refunded as much as 2-4 days from now. Convenient? Not at all. Total nightmare! I’m uninstalling this useless app ASAP Want another funny issue. When writing a one star review the app doesn’t allow my typewriter letters to pop up. I had to clip and paste this from notes in order to write a complaint. Nice touch!
