Disappointed

I played this game 3 or 2 years ago, and I absolutely loved it, it was amazing back then, even though it needed some quick fix, I liked the game overall. I wanted to download it again, but there were so many bugs stopping me from enjoying it, 1. After I would watch a ad before a fight, it would show me the mckdickie screen and I couldn’t do anything, I would have to reload my game. And when I reloaded my game, it happened a few more times. 2. It didn’t save my progress, I fought two fights, and when I came back, I had to re fight those people. 3. Whenever I press random results a.k.a picking who wins randomly, it ALWAYS picks the other person, it doesn’t matter how much I reload my game and try again it’s always the other person winning. 4. It didn’t let me add any points to make my character better, I couldn’t even add 5 points to make my grappling, speed, etc better. It upseted me because I would lose because I have grappling, speed, etc of 60 percent. 5. When I put it on average, it was easier than when I put it on “very easy”, I first put it on “very easy” cause I’m not very good at the game, and very easy was SO HARD. And then I changed it to average, only for it to be easier. Please fix that, I gave it 3 stars, because those were the only bugs, and I know tho game has potential.

Been playing mdickie games for years now...

And every game it’s the same bs. Don’t get me wrong, they’re fun when the games actually works properly. But then you get thrown into a submission hold (or any type of hold really) and you’re just stuck there. Then you furiously tap every button a million times because there is no form of “countering”. You’re there until the AI gets bored and lets you go. Wrestling revolution has it, Extra lives has it, The You testament has it, weekend warriors has it, Hard Times has it, Superhero city has it. Literally every single game has this bs in it. Why is it so hard for you to add in a way to fight out of these holds? It’s not based on skill, or timing, or anything else we have control over. It’s based on pure luck. “When will this AI let go of me so I can continue to play the game” is how it is most of the time. But then if *I* try to hold someone down and punch them in the face, or have them on the ground, they counter and escape immediately. Deep down, I really do love all of these games, but I also hate them because of the garbage like I stated. I hope to see it fixed one day but I’m 99.9% sure it will not be.

Fix saving bug and update game

This game is amazing I love it even almost more than empire but it gets repetitive and boring no updates and nothing I know it’s an older game but still should get some attention. There’s a new bug I’ve noticed in super city and so far weekend warriors every time it auto safes it freezes idk if it’s bc I’ve had it download for a minute now but if that’s the reason it’s bad bc I’ve done so much on these games and I know if I delete and reinstall I will lose everything for example weekend warrior I’m at 96 wins and 7 loses if I delete I will lose all that hard work and super city I managed to recreate all my favorite childhood Hero’s like Spider-Man superman etc. if I delete it I’d lose all those hours of hard work. Pls try to fix these issues and even maybe an update thx u.

If you get the hang of it

If u get the hang of it it’s a great game people are saying it’s hard to control and everything but tbh It works well for me when ur weak ur harder to get out of grappling or be the one on top with striking advantages when ur strong and weaken the other opponent they can have a hard time getting control on you I’ve been playing this since I was like hmm let’s see 11 and now I’m 15 it gotten so easy for me to win I put it on hard and ai mode and I still win fairly enough Sure it has some minor annoying bugs and the camera gets annoying to but it’s great and for what the game throws at u when they try to make you fight while your injured annoying sure but makes it more challenging if u can get the hang of the game you’ll end up liking it grappling move one direction to counter his position so u can break free and reverse with a slam spamming it gets u out but when u have no adrenaline or health it makes it harder I mean this is the best u can get out of a mobile game

As always, MDickie fails to disappoint

Been playing this game for 2 years now. While there’s definitely improvements that could be made in grappling and expense deduction, this game is still the best MMA simulator/game on the store. Players can get fully immersed even in the free version by not only customizing their character (in appearance, moves, everything) but also manage their own roster of athletes as the president of a promotion (I transformed all my athletes to mirror the UFC). There are always improvements to be made in gameplay (repetitive opponent styles, submissions taking 1 minute to take effect, escapes from armbars, etc.). However, the overall mechanics still holds up in 2020 and is much superior to the linear side-scrolling, tap-to-win fighter games. As a fighter in this game, you may move anywhere you wish, attack and attempt takedowns from any angle, and even leave the cage (albeit for a 10 second penalty). Great game, and a must-have for all MMA fans!

It’s frustrating how poor the engine is... BUT...

As much as I love MDickie and his games, his 3D games just seem to be awfully designed. The movements are so wonky and unresponsive. It frustrates me so much that one second, my player is on par with my movement and the next, he isn’t. I 100% feel that the game has potential to be AMAZING and it only needs a few changes: 1. An entire revamp of the camera system. 2. A fix on character movement. 3. More options such as attempting to hire a manager rather than being forced to wait for one to find you. 4. Making the menus more aesthetically pleasing (the one with all the promotions to be specific). If these are improved on, even just by a smidge... I’m sure Weekend Warriors will be on top of the charts. I’m going to upgrade to the full version ASAP (as I do with all MDickie games) to support development and I encourage all others to do so as well.

Please The Potential is Insane

Theres a few bugs that need to be fixed one being that in promoter mode when signing to a new promotion the screen goes black and wont let you ever leave the promotion you picked (I picked MMA) Also when you allow rematches you should be able to pick where on the card and when that fight happens. Add new 2 or 4 fighters every 2 to 3 months and add some costume shop so developers can make some money but do not gate keep fighters because thats lame and it will keep free to play mobile players coming back to play.

extremely bad

I have a lot of things to say about this awful game. Mostly about the ai. When fighting, the ai always seems to be getting critical hits, they get at least, 3 each game while i get none. Also, the ai doesn’t know when to just stop. Usually in fighting games, they give the ai breaks from attacking so the player doesn’t have a panic attack and snap their phone in half, but in this game, there are no breaks, the ai just keeps going. They don’t know when to ungrapple the player, they don’t know how to stop chasing the player so that they can catch their breath. They just keep charging at you like a clueless elephant on 40 different types of needle drugs. It seems like you guys purposely made the not able to take breaks, and if so, you are probably the WORST devs ever and please never make another game with any sort of ai in it.

Really Bad but has potential

This game has a lot of potential but It really is just a terrible video game. Firstly the grappling system is terrible. Coming from someone who actually does Brazilian Jiu Jitsu it’s really frustrating. Your player could have 99 Grappling and your opponent may have 89 and you still end up on the bottom and not being able to break submissions is really frustrating as well. Secondly why can I only make a certain amount of money. I can never go over 5 million and when I do the expenses are so high that I can’t even make money fighting. So what’s the point of playing at that point? Thirdly the striking is also funky. Everyone doesn’t fight in a orthodox stance. Some people actually prefer both. All and out it has potential to be a really fun game but it can fall short and feel biased towards the CPU at times

Pretty good, but a few ever so significant problems.

Now, I'm not sure if this was in wrestling revolution, but the camera constantly views from an angle that blocks my sight. Like, I'd be grabbing someone and hold them in a choke hold, but then the camera suddenly turns and my view is suddenly looking at a horizontal bar. Did I mention that it takes way too long to escape or counter a grab? My opponent can literally hold my character in a hold for three minutes, no matter how high his/her grab stats are. Meanwhile, my character has a grab attribute of over 80, and I can't keep them in a hold for more than a few dozen seconds on average. Also, I'm pretty sure the developer won't even read this. But I'm writing this, just in case.

I would like something to be added

I love the game but I think it would be better if the fight schedules were similar to pop scenes, you can either schedule your own fight or your manager schedules one for you, I find it hard to raise stats when you have to fight 2 times every week and especially when your career counts on it, I constantly find my self having low health and can’t proceed with training my stats, so the new scheduling could help the players actually have time for training before a fight. I also think it would be cool if you can become champion in other weight classes at the same time!

Amazing

This is a great game overall not too cheesy amazing characters and customization options I’ve always loved Mdickie games ever since I first came across wrestling revolution during junior high they just keep getting better and better the gameplay is smooth and challenging the fights are great and the dialogue tops off everything bringing the game and it’s environment to life and there’s also always room for improvement through your individual career I can’t wait to see what’s next and I would love to see reach boxing come to mobile as well

Yup this is trash

Literally everything makes no sense me and many other people downloaded the game just to test out if the results we gathered we accurate and it was. This game makes no sense..Whatsoever INFACT none of the games made by this guy does. 1 fight could be equal, But then another could be completely messed. Even if you were the same overall and had the same stats as another character the game would still allow them to get a bunch of counters while you have to repeatedly tap or hold the button while the Ai Can do it in 2 taps. The machine is completely unfair. Again me and 8 other people played the game on different devices and 2 of which have been playing the game way longer than we have. Everyone agreed this machine is completely messed up. Fix the game.

Fix grappling system

I love this game but the one that’s been killing the fun is the grappling system every time the opponent puts me in a submission hold or a grappling hold they take full control of you the counter and escape button doesn’t make a difference because I think you need luck cause no matter how many times I press those buttons they don’t do nothing. Anyways I think you just need to fix that grappling system maybe make it like a mini game out of it or something to make it fair.

The game is great but why did you make us pay to customize characters before we start our career

I’ve been playing this game for Years And YEARS and I loved the fact that you could just edit your looks, body type and everything else but it’s ridiculous that you now make me have to pay to do that. Just making us have to play to use exhibition and edit the rosters and so on. The game is five stars and has always been for me it’s just if you allow us to do what I was just talking about, this game would be perfect

I’m not gonna waste your time.

I had 88 grappling, my opponent had 65 grappling. I assumed I was going to absolutely dominate him, for the most part I did. Even with my superior grappling skills, he was tossing me around like I was nothing. He then proceeded to take me down and submit me.... That’s pretty much the entire game. It’s fun don’t get me wrong but your stats don’t matter. I could have 70 striking and beat the crap out of a guy with higher striking simply because I mash the attack button. I’ll give you a quick run down of the other problems. - Managers are constantly asking you to move down or up weight, pray to god they give you creative control on your contract or you’re never winning a belt because you’ll be constantly shifting between weight classes. - You fight twice every week. You have no real time to upgrade your fighter and the game constantly removes stats. - Lack of customization unless you pay for a “pro license.”

Please fix

Everytime after an ad the game freezes with your stupid mdickie logo. You’re most likely not going to view this because you don’t care about reviews and fix what YOU think should be fixed. Not the people. Also, this game is based entirely on luck. The cpu and the players altercations and submissions are put entirely on what the game thinks should happen. As I always mash the escape or counter button, nothing happens. I’m stuck 5 minutes into the match mashing the two buttons actually thinking something is going to happen. Nope. Not worth the 4.99 to have a backstage pass. Once you fix your game then we could talk.

Good game but has a irritating bug

This game is a great game for a indie game and I have played this on other devices but for some reason on iPhone it has this bug that when you get adrenaline and you use it it doesn’t make you do any move it freezes your opponent for the rest of the match until you simulate the match and it has never happened for any other device but for some reason it does it on iPhone and I hate that they haven’t noticed this bug

Good game but a couple of improvements

First of all, I love the concept of this game and if it was executed well I think i would play this for hours upon hours. The first thing I found a little annoying is that you cannot simulate the events in the president mode and you have to fight through every fight in the event. Also the controls are a little hard to get used to. But overall I like the game and if you add a couple of fixes it will be one of my favorites.

It was actually better than I though

Everything’s so cool in this game it’s perfect for a person like me but the only thing I hate is the fact every match I do is boring and it won’t let me see how much stars I have so I can’t fix that too but still very cool game would recommend to all of the people who think smh this I mite download this game

Only a few problems

I only have one or two problems with this game one the camera can get very annoying with it cutting out your fight and the second problem is you get glitched out or knocked down you can’t get up and you just get forced into a submission hold and loose but other than that it’s a good game

Couple things

I like really like this game, and I’m generally impressed overall. I’m a little disappointed by removing of mp3, but oh well. I have an idea you should try. You should try to make a 3D football simulator. Have 12 teams of 6 or 7 players and have contracts and stuff, I think it’d be pretty fun. Not expecting it to be perfect, but I have faith. I would like to hear your response on that.

Fix your game please

So hear what’s happening every time when I start a match when I try to run all what happens is I keep dodging in the Dodge and doesn’t even work and also when I’m in a submission no matter how many times I try to escape it doesn’t work and also when I try to punch in also the biggest part every time when I try to start a match it keeps loading me and I don’t know why it keeps loading and loading so I have to restart the game but it’s still not working

Grappling

This game is so much fun. I love that I’m able to simulate what my own career in mma would be like through this game, but I have one major complaint. The grappling in this game is really bad. I tend to keep my character well rounded but I mostly focus on striking because I can’t use the grappling that I keep training up. Even a character who’s grappling is slightly close to mine is a pain to deal with and I’ll spend most of the fights fighting a hold that I lose even though my grappling is higher. It just doesn’t make sense and it’s frustrating.

Great game

This game is a lot of fun to play I only actually have two problems one if your making money from your cards why can’t you like spend it besides your managers and stuff taking it and also maybe like every few fights when you have them grappled it’ll like freeze or opponent in place then you either have to wait the rest of the rounds out or swipe off and re-login

Good but Submission System is Broken

I had the same problem with UFC 3 on xbox..of course the submission system in this game is better but I try pulling off a submission and they counter and get on top of me but when they pull a submission on me I can NEVER get out and my character ends up tapping..Fix the submission system please cause other than that this game is entertaining and honestly very good minus the submissiom system..

It’ll be nice if they play like actual MMA fighters and not sending my head through the ring with a piledriver!! Lol. My manager gave up on me after I lose multiple fights, the reversing is quite difficult my character tapped out loads of times then I went to a match with 20 percent of health no time to recharge overall great game

Great gameplay, a bit repetitive

This game has excellent control for it is, however the repetitive cycles when fighting can get boring. Most annoying thing is watching “updates” from other fighter after fights. The agent suggesting for you to move up or go down in weight is excessive. Being able to use your money on more than just wardrobe would be nice. Game has great potental.

Great Game But Needs Work

I love this game I played about every day but it does need some work and I think he needs to have more matches and will you ask some of the fighters to fight you they always decline is always a 10 out of 50% chance you get that match. It also needs better quality but overall I like it

Since the game is a few years old I wish they change graphics. The graphics are kinda the same in every game. Also the hinting at pro wrestlers or ufc fighters is hilarious. But yeah. Think of better ways to update and def change the graphics please

Best MMA Game

Good game, I recommend. Really wish there was a way to edit the fighter’s records once you buy a pro license just to make it more realistic, because everyone seems to have journeyman records starting out (like 4 wins and 6 losses, etc.). If that could be an option when editing your universe, this would be my favorite game for sure.

When I play the game after finishing a match you have a commercial. I don’t really mind because you can skip it. There is no big deal and the when you go back to play the game after skipping it, it has a screen where it just says mdickie and it’s frozen there. The music plays like you are advancing to another fight but your screen just says mdcikie. It really pisses me off because this game could be sooo good. You guys need to fix this!

I have evolved as a person and decided to pursue my MMA career. I will donate every fight check to this company to develop and takeover the gaming industry.

Fun but could use some work

Every time I am in the game and it goes to commercial break it freezes and I have to log out and log back in and do the whole match over. Another thing is you can’t pick up weapons. You should be able to ask to go up in the division. You should be able to ask for a manager

Best games

I actually love all games from this developer, and I am a hard core gamer rased on quake, hl/cs and elder scroll games.. dude you have a talent for making games, hope you open a studio and do an initial funding or something so you can make even better quality games! But so far I spent far more time on your games then I’d like to admit ..

Classic Dick Game

I’m not sure how it is messed up so bad like this but typically an opponent who is drained of stamina is not going to all of a sudden turn into Popeye. Ads cause game to freeze frequently making the play experience no longer enjoyable. Having to replay the same match multiple times is boring and the ads during a match causes a lot of those issues. I remember why I stopped playing these apps. Some of the offer providing no royalties... what fighter would not be paid when fighting? That’s extremely unrealistic.

Pretty fun

I’ve had this game in the past but decided to download it again being that I have burnt myself out on Wrestling Revolution, same maker of this game, seriously you get to a point where you can’t lose lol. This game is a bit more challenging, especially the further you get. Try it out, it’s fun.

It’s good but could be better

Let me start off this is a good game it is but you never can edit things when starting a carrer and not everyone has upgraded 2. When you simulate you lose all the time I kept reloading for 2 hours i never won via sumilate 3 This game is supposed to be an mma game not a sumisson ONLY game once you get in a submission if you don’t get out in 5 secs you there for the entire round or tap

Nothing makes sense.

I don’t know why someone with 70% grappling is a threat to my character, who has 92% grappling. Guy literally gets me in a hold every single time. At first, I thought the difficulty got way too hard, so I changed it back to easy difficulty. Seeing that it got even harder, I went to very easy difficulty. It was still a nightmare, which caused me to delete this game. It’s so poorly made and the difficulty system needs to be fixed. I used to love the game, now I can’t stand its existence.

If u kno how to play it well

it’s a good game , the fighters look well the ring to belts etc) but it does bug out and it has to many ads or ad blocks every time I press on something it’s goes to an ad so I jus wish u can fix it . GOOD GAME THO !

Grappling System

The only problem is the grappling system everything seems to be right for me except the grappling I have like 99 grappling and I still can’t get out of a armbar or a headlock if Dickie can fix the grappling it’s a 10/10 but I give it a 9/10

Fun but a little dumb...

So you know when you get in a summitsion and you escape with a back clinch suplex in real life but in this game it’s like a pro wrestling slam that’s not how mma works you can’t Atitude adjustment or F5 people or body slam people when you escape it’s so stupid and a disgrace to mma and UFC mdikie your games are fun and all but you need to change you combat system.

Forces You to Pay

Without paying for the Pro License you’re not going to have a good time, only one example is that you can’t get creative control when discussing contracts, so then when they change your costume, force you to go to a lower class, or if they change your hairstyle it could totally ruin your experience in this game, unless you’re planning on paying for stuff I wouldn’t recommend this game

Well well well what do we have here I’m only 10 years of age I’ve been playing mat dickies games since I was 6 and never have I ever thought this bs would pop up don’t get me wrong I like the game details in all but as soon as the fight begins they put you an any hold and you can’t get out leaving it for you to get extremely mad because your just stuck in deleting this game quick

I hate it

I really hate this game it makes no sense some how I lose by stoppage off a drop kick then some how I’m injured also some Times in ads the fight starts then you just on a loading screen so gonna have to refresh and I don’t know if I’m just bad but I put it on very easy and I still lose I’m not done i can go 25/8 talking about this and all the bad stuff and only one good stuff but if still down load it you will see all the other stuff #worst game ever
