I opened my account when I moved to Idaho. They have advised me on the many options the bank has and have answered any question no matter how silly it seemed with a smile… when I moved out of Idaho I kept this credit union active. I just couldn’t close the account. I moved back to Idaho and I am so happy I stayed with them. I highly recommend this credit union to anyone who needs a bank. Thank you Westmark Credit Union for your professionalism, caring about the little guy/gal, always with smiles on your faces, and great phone assistance. We love Westmark and everyone that works there- they take very good care of Jim and me- Jim and I remarried 1 1/2 years ago-we originally got married in 1969 - we had three sons- - had to go up and now we are very happy together- our Sons are very happy we are back together— I was welcomed at Westmark from the first day I came to the office- they always are very kind and friendly- thank you-
Up until the last update, I loved using this app. Now charges appear/disappear for days making it very hard for me to monitor how much I have in my account at any given time, the app continually logs me out making me re-log in(despite hitting the “remember me” feature and using the same phone every time) each time I open it, and even when I do log in, sometimes it will just kick me out between going to the quick snapshot and actual account details. I’ve tried removing stuff my phone thinking maybe I didn’t have enough space and it still does all this. Love this bank, though!
This new version is very user friendly. I love the design and easy use of both this app and the online web version. I can easily view all of my accounts and transaction history, and remote check deposits is so convenient through the app.
I loved this app prior to it’s latest update. Since the update it’s horrible! It can take DAYS for charges to show up even in pending. Even when the charges do show up, sometimes the charges randomly disappear and then reappear later. It makes it really hard to monitor your bank account and balance if you rely heavily on digital monitoring. The app is user friendly, I’ll give them that, but otherwise it’s disappointing. The drastic lag in up-to-date, current, correct balance information makes it useless much of the time.
Love the new app! It now shows pending deposits and charges which is great and let me link my accounts at other institutions so I can see them all on one app. It is more modern and up to date, aesthetic and seems to be more secure. I am a big fan of the new update!
I can no longer open this app. They updated the app and it won’t load anymore. I have an iphone8, I don’t know if it is an apple thing or if it is a developer thing.
The app is fine no complaints. But I used to be able to view the account snapshot on my Apple Watch, but now I can’t all the app to my watch. I don’t know if I’m missing something or if it’s just not there. That’s my only concern.
I don’t like that I can’t put extra money in my Visa account anymore. I always get charged extra pennies for interest. I don’t always get into bank the same day the charge shows up on my account. I don’t think that is right. It’s good for Westmark, but not the customer.
There’s a few bugs - most have been fixed with the new version; But they disable the app for maintenance every few months for a couple of days to fix them.
It was a little hard to navigate at first. Im guessing I still don’t have all of it but I love the bank so much I’m willing to be patient enough to learn it! ❤️
This app is terrible!! Can’t make a loan payment on it, cause it won’t let me add a card. It closes the typing feature every time. Have deleted the app and re installed still won’t work. I have contacted support no help.
App was working great until the recent “upgrade”. Now security is so strong it takes me 5 min to get into the app. Face ID won't automatically kick in like the previous version. They tried to make it better but went the wrong direction.
In the middle of doing something else, this app will force you to do a review. It will completely interrupt everything else you are doing. I recommend a different bank.
How does this app have 4.8 stars? It is the worst app ever, it never works right. I get so many error messages on a regular basis. Sometimes the screen is just blank. They really need to do better.
There are several features about this app that drive me nuts, the worst is probably the lack of a way to get support without waiting on the phone forever. I spent over 20 minutes on hold just trying to reset my password, as I haven’t used it in months (account was setup to facilitate a loan) and wound up having to hang up before talking to a person. There needs to be an option for that on the app. I had to visit the full site where I was asked a bunch of questions that did not pertain to me, about where my vacation home is...my paternal grandmother’s first name...it was all very confusing and frustrating. I’ll have to call again tomorrow to see if I can change my password.
There is always a delay in my deposits whether it be through the mobile app, or direct deposit. The frustration is that there is no delays when taking money from the account. These delays have left me with several insufficient funds when there is money sitting in the “deposit” slot but isnt “accepted”. This is a very outdated way of doing things and it is clear that westmark is not as efficient as other banks that this process is smooth. This issue needs to be addressed immediately!
I really like this app and it’s easy to use. My only issue with it is that it doesn’t show pending items. I want to know what’s pending. Everything else has been great so far.
The account views for credit lines and advance lines now show the max amount available on the home screen instead of the actual balance, which is only misleading and confusing next to the balances of the other accounts. It was a great app before they changed that.
Most frustrating app ever. Every time I log in it makes me answer a security question. Which is fine. The problem is the questions it asked me I never answered before. I have fought this for 3 years resting my account over and over again. I have even contemplating switching banks.
I am getting killed on fees, because I don’t live close to a branch and your app freezes and crashes. You get you pound of flesh, but when it’s your fault I still pay for it.
