Been with them for years, and have seen them grow by leaps and bounds. Best financial institution in the Flathead Valley. They do need to work on business lending, but I am sure they will be up to speed in the near future. They have my backing and confidence.
While this is definitely an improvement from the last version, the mobile deposit needs further work. We should be able to view the photos of the checks fully before depositing - not just the tiny thumbnails. This would allow for the photo to be retaken if blurry or not centered correctly. The auto function did not work either, I needed to use the manual option to take the photos.
I wouldn’t use the online banking though, takes a week for your check to go through. Kinda pointless to use if you can’t touch your money for a week. I thought online banking was for convenience, but waiting that long for your check cash is not convenient at all.
I have been with WCU for many many years. Theses guys are the best for customer friendly service, loans and available hours. This is a 5 star rating system and I give them a 10.

I don’t like that the account information takes a few tomes of closing the app and opening it back up to refresh the account balance and recent transactions.
This app is perfect for handling with my finances on my phone. I was literally in Arizona and my debit card he declined and I went on my phone and transferred some money over and within minutes it was on my debit card. Good job WCU
This app is fine once you get into it. If you are just using it to check your balances on accounts. The problem I have with this app is the login function. I check my accounts very regularly and I have never been locked out of an app so many times in my life. I’ve written my password down every time and then on a whim it will decide it’s not right and then will lock me out. Then you have to call the branch and they will let you back in, so that you can reset the password again (only on the website) then you can get into the app. It’s beyond annoying. I love whitefish credit union but I wish they would put a little more work into the app!
The app is functional at a minimum. However, some simple improvements would help. For example, enabling Touch ID for log in would be appropriate and appreciated.
It constantly does one of two things. It will tell me that my password is wrong (it’s auto filled by my phone) or it will get stuck in a login loop. Every action you take in the app carries the risk of sending you back to the login screen. Pretty frustrating when you’re dealing with something serious.
