I took pictures of front and back and check marked the square for mobile deposit only and it rejected it saying I had to write for mobile deposit only. I did that and it rejected it again for the same reason. I tried again and it rejected it again. I had to completely back out of my mobile app and get back in to finally get it deposited. Something needs to be done. It is much easier to use my Regions mobile app but I would prefer my money go to Wilson. That is the second time I have had trouble. The first time I just went ahead and put it in Regions. I was tired of trying to get it right.
The app is fine, no real problems. There are a couple of quirks though. One is the issue I had adding my Costco Citi card to bill pay. The app will not allow you to enter the name of the company listed on the bill… after endless attempts I ended up in the bank branch where the helpful employee figured out that it had to be entered as “COSTCO” or it simply would not take it. The second issue was with checking when I saw what looked like a deposit listed as “incoming check”. After researching and calling the bank I found that they label some bills payed as incoming checks? I think both of these issues have less to do with the app and more to do with someone in an office at Wilson bank. That said I do like banking at Wilson and would recommend the bank. But yea…. quirky.
We retired and moved here from Michigan a little over 10 years ago. While looking for a neighborhood to call home, I turned on the street (where we would soon build) and had the pleasure of meeting our first neighbor-to-be, a young man named Kevin Sanders. He was kind enough to spend some time with me plus he gave me his business card and told me about the bank I should use here in Mt. Juliet. I’m proud to say I have never regretted developing a long-lasting friendship with Kevin and taking his advice about our favorite bank. I highly recommend this bank to anyone and everyone that needs a personal and professional banking experience. They truly offer the best banking experience my family and I have ever seen. From the moment we opened our first account, we felt like we were part of their family. Trust me, don’t look elsewhere if you’re wanting a bank that truly cares for you and your needs.
I have been using the app to make deposits without any trouble until about a month ago. Ever since then I cannot take a clear picture of a check with my phone. I can use my camera to take a picture that is very clear but when I am in the Wilson Bank and trust app trying to make a deposit, the picture is blurry every single time.
It is very difficult for me to leave my home, especially with COVID 19. It has always been difficult to leave my home for any reason, and having a weak immune system already. I am thankful that my bank makes it easier for me. Thank You Sincerely Sharon
The last update or change they made has less features. The main feature that is gone that really aggravates me is the comment section on transfers. I always transfer money back and for in my kids accounts and can no longer put what it’s for. If I pay my son for lawn mowing I can’t type that in or if my other kid pay their phone bill and I transfer from their acct to mine you can’t put a comment in so it is impossible to track. I hate “upgrades” that have less features or less user friendly.
I have been with several banks,a lot of them are under developed or just very clunky, they all pale in comparison to the steaming pile of garbage that this app is. The old app was very bare-bones yes, but at least I could login and actually see my account balance. How are you going to create a banking app that takes three minutes after logging in to even tell you what is in your bank account. Not to mention the amount of time it takes to do account transfers or anything else. This app needs to be completely reworked, this is the first time in a long time I’ve considered switching banks simply because of how horrible the their app is.
If I could rate this as zero stars I would. You are better off logging into your account on an actual computer. Your available balance takes at least a minute or even two to change and that’s after you’ve pulled down on the screen to refresh it multiple times. Transfers take forever to process and on the old app all of your accounts were visible on the home screen. Now you can only view one at a time and have to thumb left to get to other accounts. This app is a nightmare and is bad enough to make me consider changing banks as I am always on the go and rely heavily on the app.
A bit excessive on the over draft fees on a business account . $38 every time and they let the big charges go through first and and get you on all the little charges . I paid around $200 in overages for not even $50 worth of overages . Also, the cash deposits in an atm should be immediate . Could have avoided most of these charges if they would have processed my deposit immediately . I Think I will be shopping for another bank . And if you are looking here keep in mind that there are better options elsewhere .
This app is terrible. It does not update your transactions in even a reasonable amount of time. I have deleted and reinstalled this app and even gotten help at an actual location and my most recent transaction it shows is from 3 weeks ago. If I electronically deposit a check I would expect it to be available at the very least in a couple of business days but it takes so long to post it would be faster to just go to the bank and do it. Almost completely useless for doing any actual banking away from a branch.
I opened my accounts at WBT a few months back. I had a “little Learning” curve on the app and each call to the support desk was answered cheerfully and person was very patient and helpful. I enjoy using the app. I believe part of my learning curve was related to how much more simple it is than my previous bank.
Wilson Bank has always come through for me. Always courteous. All branches I have done business in have been the same. I like that it’s a local bank, which means I feel safe about my money in these turbulent times. Especially with the coming reset.
The App is really great overall! 😎😎One bit of constructive criticism is the mobile deposit. I use this feature with a couple of banks regularly. It is hard to use with Wilson’s app. A lot of checks get turned down and I have to go to the actual bank location. This app has trouble verifying that the check is written properly. Again, overall, the app is excellent.
Wilson Bank and Trust is ALWAYS off line! I never have an accurate update on what my account balance is. They are always delayed. Or behind when funds have been debited to my account. It is so bad that it always shows that I am in the negative because they allow me to spend money that I do not have because THEY ARE OFF LINE!!!! I went to see if I needed to do a update within my app, and there is no updates. It’s definitely the bank and they need to handle this technical issue ASAP. It’s so annoying.
This is one of the reasons Wilson is no longer my primary bank. The app is buggy and now no longer allows mobile deposit because it does not think I wrote “for mobile deposit only” when I very clearly did. When you try to retake the image, the camera is it portrait mode and won’t rotate, so I have to back out and start over, before giving up completely. Please test your app before going live with them, it’s very frustrating and poor customer service.
The old app was simple and easy to use. This one way too complex and hard to navigate. Guess programmers have to justify their existence by changing something. And then it wants me to update every Time I sign in even though I have done so numerous times. And turns out the review system is rigged so it will not accept a 2 star review so you are forced to go higher.
This app is obviously outsourced. Quality control is nonexistent. Direct deposit not even compatible with iOS 13. I’m guessing it takes time to get in contact with the devs from whatever 3rd world country this app is outsourced from.
I have happily banked with WB&T for 16 years! I can with honesty say any issue I’ve had was resolved quickly and painlessly! I would never consider changing knowing WB&T works hard with their customer service taking care of each customer! Thank you WB&T!

I’ve been with Wilson Bank and Trust for over 2 years and I love being one of their customers! I worked for a large Savings and Loan in CA and I understand that industry, but Wilson Bank and Trust exceeds my expectations! They are professional, yet personal. Their app is so helpful and I plan to be with WBT as long as I live in TN.
This app works great. I just wish one thing would be added to it. I wish it would show pending deposits for when my work check is pending to be deposited. That would be great to have. Otherwise the app is great.
I downloaded this app right after opening my account with Wilson Bank over a month ago and it never worked never even opened it always crashed. I've only been able to access my account by full website login. I just now uninstalled this application and reinstalled hopeful for an update that it would work right and it was another failed attempt as it still does nothing but instantly closes the application. Very disappointing!!
I don’t know what all of the fuss is about. I agree that months ago when the update was made that it was slower but now i never have any problems with it. I appreciate the time WBT put into making the app more user friendly. Thanks WBT!
I went into the Wilson app and put in my password. It started to go to my account then stops and gives me a message that I must update my app and gives me a link to do so. I go to the link and it sends me right back to the Wilson app which I sign in and, you guessed it, I need to update the app. Total loop. The bank told me to update my phone. I did the latest Apple update, it changed nothing. Has anyone else had this issue?
I have only been in Lebanon three years since I married Robin (met in first grade, Gulfport FL) and everything I ever needed from WB&T I received from kind and courteous people. Moved my money and monthly deposits from Bank of America. Thank you!
They have helped me when my PC was hacked. If it wasn’t for the tellers, the Security Dept, and the Branch Manager, I would not be up and running again with all accounts secured. Best Bank I have ever had in 3 states! Thank you
This online banking system is totally awesome! It’s fast and clear and easy to use. Hardly any reason to go to the bank. I use it every day. 5 star plus!

I absolutely love this new, updated app. It is so convenient and easier to read. Information is for sure more streamlined in this app, and over all more user friendly.
I’ll change score when I am actually able to do a mobile deposit. No matter what banks checks your using including their own it will constantly reject the mobile deposit. I just end up mobile depositing to regions or going to atm to deposit. This defeats the purpose of having this feature on the app.
Everyone so friendly and always helpful. The Steve through tellers have been pleasant almost as if you were in the lobby. Know they will be great full to get back to “normal”!
Please fix the bugs in this new app before the old app is gone. Every debit shows up twice (like I’ve made the same purchase back to back) and it subtracts from my balance each time. Also it is very slow to update, my old app shows new transactions immediately but i have to refresh the new one several times to get an updated balance.
This app is a joke! The old app is always up to date with my exact balance where this one tells me about deposits 2 days later with an inaccurate balance. It won’t load the correct balance and I’m going to be furious if they don’t get this app together before they take down the old one. Get it together, Wilson Bank!!
